I’ve been going against a lot of hacking survivors lately (I forget the word) to where they’ll try and mask their movement speed and gen speed a bit. For eg: survivors base movement speed is 100 but the hacker will mod it to 120/130 movement speed. It’s hard to tell through the naked average eye but any killer who has a lot of experience can tell the difference and will catch on quickly..
Ive been running into this Trickster who I’ve reported awhile ago where they’ll make his movement speed 120-125 instead of the base 110.
That's subtle hacking. I think k it happens a lot. I had a Jeff in another match that was able to outrun me from one side of the map to the other. He didn't even fake like he needed loops or pallets.
-
Because it would make the game harder for survivors, and it would make BHVR have to take responsibility for the toxicity they allow to thrive in the community.

Cherryblossom needs reworked to not use killer instinct. Maybe survivors are louder in the 4m range instead?
No, because "standing still isn't a mindgame."
-
An in-game comm system, followed by balancing around all survivors having access to comms.
Equipable mori animations.
-
Oh no. Don't tell me MMR resets with grades. I could see it still being tied into the old rank system.
-
If I knew about BHVR and how they treat the game and players I wouldn't make the same choice again.
I went on a year long break not that long ago. Honestly, the only thing I really missed was watching streamers like Otz, Farmer John, Hybrid Panda, and Tru3.
-
Bubba and Wraith. Bubba's saw is too easy to use and lasts for far too long for an insta-down. Being able to down multiple people at once isn't any fun to go against either.
Wraith because the chases are always boring. It's just cloaking and uncloaking to get a speed/lunge boost or to try and bodyblock windows and pallets. And half the time they just leave after getting an injury so there isn't even a chase.
-

Dead hard isn’t that strong most dead hards extend a chase by all of 3 seconds
I think you meant by 3 "gens".
-
That's a standard Huntress build. Maybe you've finally climbed enough in MMR to start seeing serious killers.
-
The only problem with the rifts are too many charms. I feel like I would never even use 1% of them. Basically I just equip the newest iri charms to show off for a bit, like anyone cares, and then I go right back to the charms I favor.
It needs to have more cosmetics, mori animations, shards, new emotes, etc.

I really do think she should be 110ms. She does quite a lot.
Lmao no. We don't need anymore 110 killers, especially with the survivor meta being to run away instead of lopping.

40% increase in speed is a big deal. Speed is what makes Spirit so strong and this add on improves that way too much.
It is a big deal but it has a major drawback: no scratch marks. And with IW having no counters at all it's easy to make the m/d ring mostly useless during a chase.
-
I don't think M/D Ring is OP, especially with the Iron Will buff and now being able to hear where she is at all times.
-
They could do it, but they keep blaming Microsoft and Sony saying they won't let them. I think that's probably a big fat lie because Microsoft has said it over and over that they want all games on their platform to be "play anywhere" games.

Killers will do this against anyone, not just survivors that are SWF. They'll tunnel, camp, and slug at 5 gens even if it's obvious they are going against bad/solo players. It's no wonder people play SWF... Solo is almost unplayable.
I only play solo and I escape probably 60% - 70% of the time unless I'm screwing around with an archive.

Maybe but I'm not gonna pretend and say that Camping and Tunneling exist because of SWF. That's one the most dumbest statement I have ever heard.
I didn't say they exist because of SWF. They're so much more prevalant now because of SWF and the devs decisions to make MMR based only on kills and also not to balance around SWF.
Also: "most dumbest" rofl

It's not lmao. Camping and tunneling is a choice. If some sort of miracle happened and SWF disappeared and the game's early game is fixed those two aren't going to disappear. It's simply built into the game. A killer can just wake up in the morning and decide that he's going to be a huge asshat that day nothing can stop him even the developers have stopped reports on this type of killer behavior.
Nah. Most killers enjoy the chase. Standing a hook is boring. But the devs have pushed the game in a direction that almost demands camping and tunneling in early game just to have a chance at playing normally with lots of chases, downs, and hooks.
-
@Mileena_Kahn said:
With all the tunneling and camping that’s been going on you just simply can’t play solo. I’ve been SWFing and my team hardly ever dies. It’s the only thing you can do if you want to have enjoyable survivor matches.
Camping and tunneling is a result of SWF. Sadly, most things that are wrong with this game are due to SWF and the devs not taking it into consideration when building the game.
-
I wish they'd bring back Father's Glasses. That was my favorite add-on.
-
I think they should avoid challenges that force you to rely on your teammates or require an escape.
-
It seems like they snuck in a change to have the hatch spawn near the last survivor.
-
If you were running the killer for 5 minutes you didn't need DS, and wouldn't have been able to do anything else anyway.

After today's update the intro video is back to that garish Trickster anime instead of showing the latest chapter release video for Mikaela, at least switching back to the latest killer release and doing Hellraiser's awesome intro again.
That's weird, right?
I'm thinking maybe it was a mistake, though I'm usually oblivious to that sort of game change, so maybe I've never noticed if they commonly switch up the intro video with older ones or something.
Though if it's not a mistake or common, why do you think they bothered to change it up this time?
At the end it advertises the new Crescendo tome that features Trickster and Yun-Jin
-
Why are you complaining about a killer camping with NOED? If NOED is active that means all of the gens are done. The only thing the killer has to do is secure sacrifices. They SHOULD be camping at that point unless they can secure another sacrifice by leaving.
-
I really, really think this is a racist trying to get minority representation removed from the game.

Thy playing as a soloQ survivor and then say again how the game is "survivor sided".
I only play solo Q. The game is unbearably survivor sided.
-
No. The concept is ok but it needs to be reworked. It shouldn't give a distance boost. It should be more like a block where the survivor needs to time it right.
-
Yes. It's 100% counterable.
-
Dead Hard could be like a "block" move. The survivor gets hit but takes no damage and doesn't get a speed or distance boost and the killer has the normal attack cool down.
-
Attempting to hook all of the survivors in a "fair" order is a sure way for a killer to get 0 kills and have a 5 minute match. You have to get one or 2 people on death hook or dead asap in order to even have a chance at a 3k or 4k.
-
All I could think was "narrow streets of cobblestone"
-
Yes. They should remove the d/c from match option as well. If you need out that badly you can close the game.

Blood stains, look at the blood stains.
Still a pain in the butt to track.
That works, but only if they're injured. And for killers like spirit that won't work at all.

Shadow Step is definitely fine, but Circle of Healing may need looking at.
The time investment survivors have to put into maintaining Shadow Step combined with the fact that scratch marks being hidden during chase isn't that devastating means it's strong, but pretty easily played around if you know what you're doing. Maybe don't run aura-reading perks for a bit and you'll probably be fine on that front.
Shadow Step is completely busted. The game is built for killers to be able to track survivors by scratch marks and sound. Shadow Step and IW completely counter anyway for the killer to track them unless they stay within the killer's line of sight.
-
Both boons need a nerf. Killer's can't track survivors in shadow steps AOE when they also have IW. It's even worse if they have spine chill and get a head start.
COH gives infinite super heals to the entire team. They can heal so fast, they can almost do it mid-chase.
-
The way they responded to people asking for a colorblind mode would suggest this is a non-issue to the devs.

Just wait until you can feel the sweat from their neck then tap m1 its a good way to bait dead hard to
That's what I usually do but they either wiggle or turn straight into me and auto aim jerks the camera around and causes a miss

That's why you mini lunge or just wait and normal m1 < no aim assist
Ok
-
@ClumsyTrapper said:
Their not cheating it your lunging from to far just wait and walk a little closer do a normal swing or mini lunge
No. It happens even when close. I actually feel like it's worse up close.

Another "I don't play killer but I 4k every game so I'm the arbiter of fairness and balance" post.
If you don't play killer but 4k as you said, your MMR is too low to have a true opinion on it.
-
@Nathan13 said:
were you healing with COH when it crashed?
I had just started healing, yeah.

@LeonxJiwoon said:
Hmm its funny cause when survivors complained about noed, the first thing we are told everyday like a child do totems run totem build etc, now we are doing the totems and its a issue. Killers still have way more broken perks to use combine with some adds can still overwhelm survivors.
Killers can't do totems though because killers can't break totems. Additionally, killers don't have totem locating perks. So at best killers can temporarily disable a boon if they're lucky enough to hear it and have the time to stop for it.

Circle of Healing is no where near ridiculous. In fact, it's weaker than other healing perks for time efficiency.
Shadow Step was just needed, plain and simple. There's a massive amount of Killer aura reading perks and no counter for them on the survivor side except for Distortion.
There's also lockers, hiding behind gens, and moving outside of the aura reading range.
-
@Hoodied said:
Nope, saw someone try to do this against a spirit and stopped them immediately, not letting 1 person ruin everyone else’s game
That's not what I'm talking about. I'll edit the op so it's clearer.

It really does feel like low MMR is harder to play as killer than high MMR.

Right? Who are those selfish players trying to prevent you for getting the challenge done?
And I don't know about the OP. I, once, looped the Killer enough long for my two other teammates to finish three generators. We had someone who DC early, like ten seconds after we loaded into the game. Then, my teammates took the chases, I finished the two last generators... And we escaped. I'm a solo Survivor, I had no idea what my teammates had in mind.
But we would got less BP if we gave up as soon as the first Survivor DC.
So, keep trying until it's clearly over. Everyone gets more BP, even the poor Killer who didn't ask anything.
I'm talking about situations like 4 gens left and 2 people d/c'd.
-
Yeah, the responses here accurately reflect the survivor mindset lmao.
-
@SonicOffline said:
What's even the point of Easy Anti Cheat? lol
To prevent people from using their RGB's I guess.
-
They d/c'd because they were losing and they couldn't handle it. They wouldn't complain about feeling "forced" to stay in a match they were clearly winning. No. It's only when they get downed early, make a mistake, were the first hook, or get caught twice in a row by the killer because they overestimated their own skill.
