You're not understanding what I meant, the devs have stated they want No Mither to be a hard mode perk. And some people do find it hard. I mean It's for fun not to be viable.
Sure, but why add any benefits to it at all if it's solely for a challenge? It's useful in certain scenarios, and a large part that makes it fun are the builds you can build around it. My issue is that the 50% noise reduction is not useful when evading the killer, and with the blood trail negation also attached to the perk, that seems to be part of the perk's goal: To make yourself permanently injured, but have little to no stealth penalty while injured. You can't achieve this goal without running iron will alongside no mither, which only leaves you two perk slots to play with.

How about a minor buff to Deliverance in which, like Kindred, it somehow alerts your team to the fact you have Deliverance and will appreciate if they pull the killer elsewhere.
This would be fantastic

@LordGlint said:
I could see changing it to 100% while standing, but have the moans in place while on the ground.
Yeah, having it be reduced by 100% while downed would be busted. That's not what I want at all

still despise both plunderer's and ace in the hole tbh
Oh god, I got this yesterday and was pissed that I couldn't even heal myself once! That's the only bad thing about ace in the hole

Bump
[who upvotes bumps wth]
-
Legion would be the best fit. One perk they could have is an exhaustion perk that turns a medium vault into a fast vault.
-
I've actually been trying to play without running super good perks. My build's been using perks like Plunderer's, Ace in the Hole, WGLF, and some perks that are only good in certain situations (BT, Unbreakable, ect...). I've been avoiding Decisive and exhaustion perks aside from head on so that I can become a good baseline survivor
-
I'd just make the power work almost exactly as it did before. The only things I'd change is to disallow legion to down people with frenzy or the chase exploit, keep legion's current 115% speed, and keep legion's missing penalty. That would be ideal
-
@Kabu said:
This is a tough one. If no mither is buffed to reduce injured sounds there would be two perks doing the same thing.
Yeah, but right now there are two perks doing the same thing. One's just really bad at doing it
-
That's really ######### good! It would fit perfectly!

That's kind of misleading then. It says "see your own scratchmarks at all times" doesnt it?
Just because legion cant see them, doesnt mean you shouldnt be able to.
It should read, " see your scratchmarks as they appear to the killer".
A little, but I think it's better this way. I'd rather not see scratch marks that don't actually exist
-
Legion. That double swipe is v nice
-
Was it not like this before?
-
I'd like if they made flashlight addons a bit better. Maybe re-introduce the blind time addons, but with reduced effectiveness and without the ability to stack.
-
Maybe some minor passives could be added to characters with prestige (like slightly increased crawl/recovery speed or something), but whole perks like that would be busted. Probably not the best idea.
-
yes
-
Sorry, but you're incredibly wrong. A good Hag can and will dumpster people until red ranks, and then, and only then, do survivors even stand a chance. I've put at least 200 hours just into Hag, and I've had to stop playing her until I hit rank 4 because it's just too easy. Despite all of the downsides you mentioned, she is still a very good killer, and I think that most people are ranking her properly.

It could be 10%/15%/20%, this perk would punish killers for ignoring survivors on generators (you know when you work on a generator when the killer is right there). :)
Maybe, but I feel like your idea would be better as a completely separate perk. Maybe one that ditches the injury requirement, increases your action speed inside the terror radius over time, and decays the perk's benefits over time when you're outside the terror radius. Having the terror radius requirement *and* having to be injured is just so much and too situational imo

What about this Peanits?
Resilience:
You are motivated in dire situations. Grants 9%/12%/15% additional speed when repairing, sabotaging, healing, unhooking, vaulting, cleansing, opening Exit Gates and searching Chests while injured, and within the killer's Terror Radius.
I'd really rather not have that extra requirement just for 6% more action speed, especially since the perk won't be as useful against stealthy killers.
-
@Peanits said:
18% faster generator repair speed would be massive.
For what it's worth, though, there are people out there who are actually using it right now. I wouldn't say it's the most popular perk around, but there's a niche group of people who love it.
I'm one of them! I just want it to be 10% instead of 9%
please it's been bugging me for years
-
*Stacks
with what exactly?
-
Your tea-bagging was just pouring salt into their wounds, but you aren't awful for getting a 4K. If you're worried about making people feel bad, you shouldn't teabag them.
-
Ghostface. Being able to stealth on demand is fun, and his power has more to it than Myers'.
-
It should. Someone that had it was working on a gen with me, and I was using a purple toolbox and I saw the yellow arrow. The yellow arrow does not appear if you don't use a toolbox and someone has prove thyself since prove thyself only cancels out the efficiency penalty.
-
1 around the hook, but it's a very good idea to trap the surrounding area as you would normally. Placing a trap behind the pallet/window that a survivor is very likely to run to after the unhook is a very good idea, and not doing so just because you don't want to be one of the "bad hags that place 20 traps around the hook" is just playing the killer non-optimally. The only instance where you shouldn't place a trap behind said pallet or window is when you already have all of your traps in very good positions. You'll get better at figuring out when and when not to do it with experience.
-
I'm a fan of survivors having passives of some sort, but this would be such a minor change that it's almost never worth considering one survivor's stats over another's.
-
I like it unless I'm playing a killer I'm bad at. I got it as Hillbilly once and it made me feel bad :(
-
I suggest you take off MYC. It's best you learn how to play hag without it.

Heal progress is saved. So 8 seconds, yes isn't enough for an at-pallet instant heal. But 2 to 4 seconds waiting at a window or pallet is enough to get a free heal after only two pallets.
You don't have enough time to safely stand completely still after a window jump if the killer is right behind you, and pallets only take 3 seconds to break. You'd surely get hit if you healed for a couple seconds at either of those, right?
-
@newavitar said:
Because as the first comment said, with the right build you almost always had an "instant heal" without the add-on. It was broken.
Wouldn't the 100% speed increase cap be enough to fix this though? At most you could heal yourself with a medkit in 8 seconds, and while that is quick, it's not likely that a survivor will have that much time in a chase to stand completely still unless they use a ton of pallets or the killer terribly misplays.
-
I feel like it makes the game more fun. There's a use for almost every perk, and having less okay-ish perks would make people's perk loadouts staler than they currently are. Removing No Mither, Flip Flop, Shadowborn, ect would make some people have less fun with the game.
-
That is a problem with the internet, yeah. You'll notice that it gets even more inconsistent with higher ping.
-
I've been running STBFL, Brutal Strength, Fire Up, and BBQ on legion recently. You catch up to survivors so fast, it's great
-
They're being tested in the PTB, but won't go live until the the new chapter's release.
-
I think shadowborn should be basekit. It would be more of a QOL change than anything.
-
You made a pretty good list, but there are a few things I disagree with.
My first issue is with Hillbilly and Spirit's placement. Enduring and Spirit Fury are a very strong combo, but similar to how bamboozle can teach you bad habits and stunt your growth as a killer player, so can this combo. Running enduring, however, helps teach new players that eating pallets is preferable to respecting pallets. I'd leave Hillbilly at #3 for this reason, but Spirit can go elsewhere.
Ghostface's placement seems like it was shoved in there. His perks are okay, but they aren't better than Nurse's (with 3 valuable perks) or Plague's (especially since corrupt intervention can be very useful). I'd honestly put him right under Freddy or Myers.
Everything else seems fine to me!
-
I'm not playing as much because of the upcoming new perk-getting system. I'd rather wait a week or two and come back refreshed and earn twice as many perks per game.

Those buffs could definitely work. I would prefer a smaller terror radius instead of increased window and pallet vault, but that's just me.
Since legion is a 115% killer now, it doesn't really make sense to decrease their terror radius. Plus, their detection with killer instinct is tied to their terror radius, so this would be a nerf to their power.
-
I think legion could use a few, simple buffs to make them feel less sluggish and give them a little more power:
- In frenzy, change window vault speed to 0.9 (down from 1.1).
- In frenzy, change pallet vault speed to 1.1 (down from 1.35).
- In frenzy, increase movement speed to 5.28 m/s (from 5 m/s).
- Reduce fatigue time to 3 seconds (down from 4).
Just make sure that the cooldown addons can't be combined to create an instant fatigue. These changes would make legion much more fun to play, still have counter play, and might make using their power to catch up to injured survivors a viable strategy in some cases.

They posted the Spirit launch date as September 11th last year, a couple weeks beforehand. The 11th came and went and people threw a fit when the chapter didn’t come out. It was pretty chaotic.
Not a malicious attempt to spread misinformation, but a little careless about advertising dates that don’t always pan out.
Oh, that's pretty awful! I've been worried that we would get a bloodhunt before the new chapter releases, but it's good to hear that might not be the case
-
It's hard to get it out of your head. The way I deal with it is by taking a break. Just a couple days staying off the game can really help you disassociate some negativity from it.
-
Yeah, I'd like to see some specific instances where there is misinformation. Just saying that 'there are lies somewhere' isn't gonna cut it.
-
He mentions that that guy's some sort of stalker and has been harassing him for a while. That sounds like a banable offense.
-
Good idea! The indicator could be similar to the entity claws around the obsession, but would be a smaller, different icon that only appears while in a chase.
-
I'd love to see something that makes survivors unique, but it just doesn't seem to be a popular suggestion.
I made a thread about it a while ago, and you can see some more discussion about its pros and cons there: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/82446/survivor-passives

Then people need to accept that they need to counter her.
I'll admit, I don't know how, and I really want to. Everything I try to do against spirits tends to backfire. I haven't been able to find a good resource online that helps me deal with her, so I've kinda just been trying to work stuff out on my own. If you know of anything useful, I'd really appreciate you sharing it with me!

It's not like you dont have a basket of tools to vs her...
Doesn't make it any less of a coin flip. A good spirit with good hearing can just hear your footsteps, and there's nothing I can do about. I'm sorry that I don't have fun playing against her.
-
I'm sorry that people are being awful to you just because you play spirit, but you should probably expect DCs when playing her. She's a very un-fun killer to play against for most people (including me) since you're basically flipping a coin to determine whether or not you're getting hit. She's the main reason I don't play survivor as often as I normally would, and while any harassment you receive is completely unnecessary and uncalled for, DCs should probably be expected.
