  • Yes, however, its numbers are too low to be useful by itself. I suggest you pair it with Brutal Strength and/or Bamboozle if you want good results.

  • Survivor - Autodidact. It gives me a little goal each game with massive payout, and it hard counters any healing slowdown perks.

Killer - Fire Up. Even though I really want it to be 5% per token instead of 4%, it's one of my favorite perks when paired with Brutal Strength and/or Bamboozle. Pairing it with Bamboozle makes windows much less of an issue, including amazing windows like the Ironworks one to bad windows like TL walls. Pairing it with Brutal Strength makes pallets much more dangerous for survivors, and if you can zone one even a little, you get an easy hit. It's not really worth running without BS or Bamboozle though, but it would be if it was 5% per token (please devs I really want that)

  • I do. 60 seconds is a long time, and I'm constantly worrying about who has DS or not. It makes a lot of close games loses, allows survivors to make bad saves for free, forces killers to play in a very specific way, and the fact that you can't tell if a specific survivor has it causes some anxiety. It is a bad perk for the game's health and needs some extra conditions to prevent it from being abused.

  • Playing killer is more stressful that it used to be, and queues are very long for survivors. The amount of games that end with you feeling like ######### have dramatically increased. I'm running out of patience and I don't expect it to get better anytime soon.

  • The problem I have with it is that it comes in too late. Most killer aura reading won't work when within 24m of you, and the only one that does, Nurse's Calling, has a range of 28m. After you get the actually useful 48m range, it's just you and one other guy left.

Edit: I forgot about I'm All Ears. Sole Survivor would counter that pretty well.

  • Yeah, using dead hard to bait out an M1 is the worst way to use dead hard. It's a really badly designed challenge

  • His base chainsaw is so bad that it's nearly impossible to use well (in my experience). He just feels so sluggish and unrewarding

  • Yes! A killer that can pretend to be a survivor has always been something I want. The only things I would change from your suggestion is to allow the disguised killer to crouch and emote, and give the killer 3rd person when disguised. This would make him a good stealth and anti-stealth killer, assuming he doesn't get a secondary power.

  • Dead Hard is not the biggest issues killers need to deal with. Decisive and Adrenaline are much more game changing, and while DH is very good, it's not oppressive.

  • Sometimes! I like running all of Dwight's perks, so whenever I play him, I use them. Leader is very useful when someone is healing you (you basically give them a free botany knowledge), and it's INCREDIBLY useful if someone is opening an exit gate near you.

  • I think so, yeah. There are so many more perks in the game than there were in the beginning, and it sucks that we can't play more with our loadouts. I doubt that balance would be thrown off either. Both sides getting an extra perk is a buff to both sides, and that power boost would about cancel them out. It would just be more fun for each side.

It is quite noticeable - I've caught a bunch of survivors hidint in lockers just because I heard their breathing as I was walking by

How far away are you normally from the locker when you hear them?

  • Yes, but only because the rank reset change has caused everyone to get mixed together at red ranks. Matchmaking is messed up big time, but it should be getting fixed soon. At that point, you won't be late at all. I'd say that if you just started a month or week ago, you're actually a little early

  • @GHOSTfaceP3 said:

I’d also like to say that I did kill them all but only because I slugged everyone of them during blood fury

I think that's kinda Oni's main win condition? He's pretty ass at the start of the game, but as things get going he becomes a monster.

  • Yes. I hate feeling forced to use it all the time because otherwise I'd only get half the amount of progression I would with it.

  • I find that most of the survivors I tend to struggle against use Adrenaline, so I like to use NOED just so I don't get screwed over when I'm chasing an Adrenaline user. It's really just a perk that helps you out a bit in the endgame. You won't pip if you've been doing awfully throughout the trial, so it doesn't create any boosted killers.

  • The survivor perks that are both hidden until used, and remove a lot of the killer's pressure when used. This is mostly DS, but also Unbreakable. Losing a hook or some pressure because that specific survivor had one perk feels awful, and when it happens multiple times per game throughout multiple games, it sucks the fun out of the game. I spend every single game trying to work around DS and it's ######### annoying. I'd play much more killer if I didn't have to worry about that all the time.

  • Brutal Strength, Bamboozle, Fire Up, BBQ or NOED

    I go fast

    Great Ideas guys.

I also had the idea of the percentage increase being multiplicative by 2 instead of additive.

    Example. 3% 6% 12% 24% 48%

While 48% is high, the last gen is done so you won't have much time to utilize it.

48% is way too strong for one perk, even if all the gens are done. Positive effects are additive, so stacking it with BS and Bamboozle would let you break pallets 68% faster than normal and vault 63% faster than normal. Bamboozle should be more powerful than those perks because of its buildup time, but it shouldn't be too much better since it does contain multiple action speed increases in one perk.

  • Yes. I have a couple change suggestions that would make it much better without making it overwhelming when combined with Brutal Strength or Bamboozle.

    1. Increase action speed per token from 4% to 5%.

    2. Every 160 seconds, gain 1 token. Each generator completed also gives 1 token. Max 5 tokens.

This would let it come into play sooner and give it more strength overall. With both changes, it would be a great perk, but it would still be much better if it got only one change.

  • Why are killer collision pills bigger than survivor collision pills?

Hahaha 3 hrs a day :) I think an average dbd gamer plays at least 6 hrs a day. Come on, admit it gamers. I'm tear 34 currently, with all challenges done.

I'm tier 15 with less than half the challenges done. I play from 1-3 hours each day, but I'm almost still on track to get 70 by the end of the rift

  • Yes. I love getting to mori people, but I hate actually playing moris and consuming the offering.

  • I'd just like to have some experience gained in between rifts to transfer to the next one. When a rift isn't active, it feels as if each game has less value. Plus, if I burn out in-between rifts, I will not have nearly enough time to complete the next rift.

Yea needs a rework, maybe they just make it an infinite range premonition with no cooldown that reveals your aura to the killer. That way it would work against Myers again.

I really like this idea, but I think that premonition should have no cooldown in the first place. Some other kind of Nerf or rework would probably be better, like making it only activate when the killer is in a chase. That way it gives you a lot of information, but it doesn't screw over trapper and hag.

  • Spine Chill, Resilience, DS

  • Do it. It's incredibly frustrating to play normally now anyway.

Also, none of those perks are good on Hag at all. I know that it would still be frustrating with better perks, but it would probably a little better if you ran something else.

  • Yes! There would be so many more fun builds we could create

I stopped playing killer as much. Too many potatoes = too easy. I am relearning survivor and although queue times and tunneling are frustrating, at least I'm not getting handed wins by survivors that don't belong at my rank or even 4 ranks below me.

That's another part of it too. Sometimes I completely stomp a group that clearly shouldn't have been put against me in the first place, and it just makes me feel bad for them.

That's a whole extra side. That would increase your setting time by 33%. Are you sure you want that?

Absolutely, as long as the phantasm that pops out is also 33% bigger

Didn't they say before that all survivors are bi?

No, I'm pretty sure they just said that they could be bi, or they could not be bi.

  • Yes please change her triangles to squares I really need this

  • I think it would be better to just have it be a permanent effect. It's not like it's particularly strong in the first place

  • Nah, David seems more like a straight guy to me. I think the likely LGBT survivors are Nea, Yui, Dwight, and Jeff.

  • As Legion, tap the W key (or whatever forward button you use) during a vault to avoid the laggy teleport backwards that normally happens when you vault. This may also work for survivors or other actions, but I haven't tested that yet.

I disagree, I think that the fact that they have no effect after they're destroyed is what allows them to be as strong as they are. The hex perks themselves are fine, the problem is that it's basically RNG if you get a totem spawn that's well hidden, or in the middle of an empty bloody field.

If they could properly hide hex totems well, then it would probably be fine. The problem is that even on the maps with the best totem spots, the current totem placement system is flawed. The fact that there are specific spots on each map where a totem can spawn makes it so that knowledgeable survivors will be able to find the totem fairly easily. You could argue that this is a good thing because the survivors hunting the totem have to spend that time searching for it, but totems aren't ever hidden in anything. The best place a totem can be is around the corner, which takes very little time to check and can easily be checked when moving around. If survivors had to look under things or in things to find the totems, then they would normally be strong enough to warrant being completely destroyed. However, since survivors can stumble upon them so easily, they should have some sort of effect after they are destroyed.

  • They need to give hexes some sort of effect after they're destroyed. This would allow them to be strong if unbroken and have a reliable effect if the perk gets destroyed. Every hex perk except maybe Haunted Ground and NOED should have some part of the perk remain active, but just not the strongest part.

  • Love:

    1. Hag (I'm a Hag main and it makes me happy when others play her)
    2. Billy (Chases are more fun with him)
    3. Legion (Same as Hag)

    Hate:

    1. Spirit (The chases aren't fun at all)
    2. Freddy (The lullaby replacing the terror radius is annoying, but he's honestly not that bad)
    3. Plague (Autodidact or Botany Knowledge + Self Care are some of my favorite perks to run, and she just invalidates them :( )
  • Me too. I play for fun most of the time so I don't really mind losing, but having to worry about DS every time I pick up a survivor is very stressful and tends to ruin any fun for me. That, plus the general strength of perks like Adrenaline and Unbreakable make me feel helpless. I'd play survivor, but the queues are way too long to make it worthwhile. I'd rather just play Terraria or something, because at least then I'm actually able to play the game

  • I'd replace Lightweight with Botany Knowledge to synergize it with Self Care and get those nice 20 second heals. I don't seem to get much use out of Lightweight when I run it

  • Honestly, I don't think the DC penalty should return at all. DCing is a simple out of a match that is either completely devoid of fun or had other DCs in it (which also causes the match to not be fun). It has no different effect on the results of the match. If someone wanted to DC but didn't want the penalty, they could just stand there or let themselves be killed. It's useless.

  • Decisive Strike - Even the existence of the perk forces the killer to lose pressure, and it's often not even used as an anti-tunneling device. With the DS user being able to perform gen repairs, hook saves, and other actions that clearly show that they aren't being tunneled, it's very frustrating to deal with. And that's not even including the counter-counter to the perk: lockers.

BBQ&C - The bloodpoint bonus is so insane that it's not worth playing a game without it. Leveling and progression is a slog with the default bloodpoint gain, and it doesn't feel worth my time to play a 15 minute game and not even get close to the next level. This perk needs to be stripped of the bloodpoint bonus, and the base bloodpoint gain needs to be increased by at least 50% to compensate.

  • The head is probably the ugliest head cosmetic in the game (for survivor).

The shirt is good though, and the pants are some of my favorite pants released. I just wish one of my main survivors got it instead

  • She's fine and fun. I still play her every now and then and do decent with her.

  • Matchmaking is off because everyone's getting into red ranks, so you aren't matched with people of your skill level very often. It's also bad because the game makes you sit in queue for at least 3 minutes as a red rank survivor everytime

  • SC is in a fine spot right now. The healing nerf was enough of a nerf to it

  • Monitor and Abuse is a very strong perk on Legion. Not only does it give you a bigger detection range with killer instinct, but it also helps prevent survivors from running away when you're still 32m away. I suggest running it all the time on Legion and Plague

  • Only if I'm already winning by a large margin. If it's a stomp, I normally let the last person go. Other than that, I do whatever I think is the best thing to do in the moment

  • I've noticed her teleportation being incredibly buggy and causing my camera to jump between the trap and my current location at least once each time I try to teleport. I think that's been an issue since the servers came out though, and it's been causing me to play a lot less hag. Is that what you're talking about?
