Your builds fine, if survivors arent efficient on gens or able to do good chases that's on them. Its possible to deal with alot worse as survivor I promise.
As for the legion thing it's a nice little bonus, definitely a rare thing to do but it's always nice to pull of for sure, congrats!

Yup, happens on PC as well for me and my PS5 buddy first brought it up to me so I think it is happening on every platform. It is like the fps drops when going through different menus despite the fps staying the same. Quite laggy overall.
Okay glad it's not just me, hopefully they fix it soon
-
Ah yes pinhead, the one who plays just like nurses power but you have to aim after and it's only a slow antiloop which can instantly break...
Pinhead is garbage, was okay on release but now hes bad against any good group of survivors sadly...

It's really depressing to think about the crippling nerfs legion is gonna get.
Right? Funny thing is you can still easily beat legion If everyone knows how to play.
I'd rather a longer game than an imbalanced one imo, even with the update I'm having survivor games do gens fast simply because everyone is pushing gens and the killer doesnt have instant regression
-
@The_Krapper said:
I don't think killers will get nerfed but that survivors will get buffed, maybe you see that as the same thing idk but I think the only killer thing that might get touched is nerfing slowdowns just a tiny bit so you don't have casuals dcing due to the gens taking a decade once you stack certain combos, i would like to see some tournament play with the current patch I'm curious on if they'll actually stray away from certain strategies due to the changes made or if it made them worse
But that's survivors giving up because they dont like the change, it's very possible to beat these builds but people just aren't actually trying and that's the biggest problem.
I recommend using aura reading perks to see what your team is doing, you'll realise the games you lose by alot are due players not actually doing their objective.
Only change I'm for is make tunneling less viable by awarding separate hooks for killer and punishing those who tunnel (for example a mini regression & speed boost for a separate hook while if you hook the same person you dont get anything

My friend, at least you were playing against blatant cheater.=)
I see blatant and subtle ones, I think it's stupid blatant ones can even exist with them just phasing through walls and spawning wherever they want.
As for the subtle ones I know they're harder to track and code around but other games arent struggling as much as BHVR. Half of them most players wouldn't know, it's stupid I can only tell because iv been playing it since its release.
Even the game in the example people wouldn't bat an eye at in casual lobbies
-
No one is going to wait 1hr + for a match... that's not a reasonable choice.
Now if I could avoid just avoid steam and epic and stick with all other platforms now that's a good choice
-
If I exclude games with DCs or being completely mismatched mmr with players who never touch a gen (not that we can call these games)
Good, but imo solo Q has only ever sucked because of teammates way off your mmr or DCs.
Likes its 2020 and people still cant hold a button on a gen and then moan they die...
-
@GoshJosh said:
You’re not, though. But I don’t endorse cheating in any way, of course.
If I'm waiting 10+mins for a match you can bet I'll be waiting 1hr + with it off...
That's not a choice I'm afraid

@HectorBrando said:
Thats something I really hate, if there was a DC or a suicide on first hook and someone wants to concede take your win and let em go, I believe they should implement a concede system for both sides in some way.
Would be nice, too many games are just pointless in playing and when I have someone DC, someone AFK I dont really want to stay in the match yet slugged the whole timer..
Honestly if one person DCs the DC ban should end so I can leave and just move on, afk players should get kicked as well tbh
-
I'm Escaping about the same, if I exclude games where people DC and just arent playing properly then it's been an increase.
Biggest issue I'm having are people not trying...
-
In reality gens can still go fast, on a average it's better though.
Just a shame so many survivors are throwing and not trying
-
@Bartlaus said:
Have any nerfs been officially announced yet? I'm also afraid that there will be some "adjustments" again.
No, but if they dont realise so many survivors are just not even trying then they will see it in the stats that killers win too much and then nerf them.
@rvzrvzrvz said:
By that logic killers are getting buffed because of bad killers it's the same thing, good killer mains had already high winrates before patch does that mean that bhvr shouldn't buff killers at all ? Some survivors aren't doing gens and some killers are trolling too, let people go or just farm BP
See with an actual SBMM system you can track that, and that's another reason kills isnt a good SBMM system.
But let's not act like killers never going after their objective is as common as survivors avoid gens or throwing games
-

Then what's 'the fix' and how do you implement it?
Maybe an actual mmr system that understands what skill is, I shouldn't be getting people do 0 gens. I should never be matched with them, as killer or survivor
-
@dspaceman20 said:
I just want there to be more adequate ways to deal with camping and tunneling as promised
That's not my biggest issue atm, I'd rather be tunneled and people do gens than my team never touching them.
Tunneling can been seen as a strat, even if it's not the most fun meanwhile survivors not doing gens isnt a strat and just as unfun
-
@Seraphor said:
Preset text callouts would be good.
Even if for the ability to spam "Repair a gen" over and over again.
Yeah the issue with that is they still wouldn't, and let's be honest you shouldn't have to tell your team to do the only objective

What makes swf better than Solo if its not about info?
Because you can match with people of equal skill, I'm sorry but I would never swf with people that dont do gens yet that's what I'm getting...
Mmr is the issue, I can verse blights that can moon rush and perfectly hug round killer shack but I cant get a team that does gens or chases? Clearly not working based off skill...
-
@Grigerbest said:
Reverting changes is not gonna help.
They have to buff soloq with more communication tools.
Soloq should be almost the same as SWF.
That wont help people do gens, I hate this argument of "give solos information" when it's just not the fix.
I had kindred on, and even while I was in a chase no one was working on a gen. Information wont fix players avoiding gens from the start or even make them better players.

Just for Discussion, Let's be generous and say that 50% of all DBD Players are Solo queue players. Of all the complaints here saying that Killer was overbuffed as Solo queue is much more miserable.
My opinion is to have Solo queue get buffed so that SWF should be more aligned to Solo queue and Killer can get buffed more. but I see a lot of People here voicing that Killer should get nerfed instead.
So this is only my opinion, but I am a solo survivor main (have been for awhile now even though when the game first released I was a killer main)
Killer shouldn't be touched.
Solo survivor can be buffed, but only slightly. At most a little information to help efficiency, from my experience it's not so much the lack of info that kills my solo Q experience but rather bad players who shouldn't be matched with me in the first place, people farming challenges or DCs.
Swf should be nerfed slightly, people need to stop making up excuses and using the phrase "punishing me for playing with friends" when in reality it's just game balancing for the benefits you get. Even a small 1% per person in swf as a debuff so 1,2,3% for a 2,3,4man swf.
You cant just bring up one side enough because you cant add certain things swf have without changing major aspects of the game so its smarter to bring swf down a TINY amount and bring solo up abit
-
Gens would be fine, they did nerf all the good regression perks so it may take longer in one go but less overall through pops, etc.
The biggest impact is honestly the random teams you get in solo Q and it makes it quite clear mmr isn't working. When the games match properly they're actually good games and I definitely feel the change in a good way as survivor
-
DH is perfectly fine.
People who say the perk are useless arent good with it and need to learn, that may take time but DH is in a good spot, it's still a permanent slot in my build
-
1. DH is still great, I'm still enjoying it.
2. People are definitely over reacting about the changes 100%
3. It does feel like people are throwing matches, from DCs to suicide and even just players walking round the map not doing anything.
I'm undecided if people are throwing or mmr is so misplaced atm and I'm getting full on new players with little understanding, feels like both tbh

So your escape rate is bigger than the 90% you had before? I mean, according to your own information...
Wasnt ever 90%, I still escape more than I lose sure, but the game has definitely felt easier on a personal level and I have probably about the same escape rate as before give or take a small margin depending on the day
But mmr definitely isn't working as well as it use to I can say that for sure, I'm getting some very bad players on my team and versing unlike before

The killer absolutely has the ability to regress your gen very quickly. If they're lucky enough to get multiple Pain Res hooks very quickly, or they run the new meta of Pop/Call of Brine/Overcharge, that gen is never getting done.
Yes they will... theres 4 of you so split up on gens, if you arent aware the killer need 400% regression speed to match a single survivor and even then you can just tap the gen to stop it and he cant be in 4places at once.
If you're all going down really fast you shouldn't win.
-
I'm gonna have to disagree, if actually found it easier now the killer doesnt have the ability to regress insane amounts of my gen quickly.
Sure gens can take longer but their actual regression is far worse so it's not much different imo if anything it's easier.
But as usual the games I lose is because of a DC, players giving up or being so badly mismatched they get like 5k points and have no idea how to play
-
I got 2 in 2.5million bp, definitely a nasty change but apparently they will "fix it" however they plan on doing that and how long itll take
-
@GentlemanFridge said:
Does it actually grant a sprint burst-like boost when tanking a hit? Or just a regular hit boost? I’m still a bit confused on that one.
Sadly it's the hit speed boost, if it was like the other boosts thatd be amazing but it's still good enough to get you to other loops/tiles

Also it's so goofy looking now, I love finding golden clips with it
Its definitely still a good perk, I always used it so I'm still happy with the change. But yeah animation gives me a chuckle all the time, even if I mess up that slow little dash as the killer watches lol
@Aneurysm said:
Best use of it I've seen was a reddit clip where a Claudette dead harded at a zombie for a speed boost mid-chase, it was pretty cool
Ooo I did that today too, actually ended up doing it twice (once to get infected as I was out positioned and then again with DH) it was like multiple free sprintburts 😂

A few people who facecamp? More than half the Bubbas I face are hard campers, and he's a common killer to run into. It's not even a thing like boxblocker Pig where it was a rare meme. It's insanely prevalent. That's probably more of an issue with campers choosing Bubba than Bubbas choosing to camp, but the effect is the same.
Not common for me, but alot of people throw camping around more often than its actually happening tbf.
And I'm all for fixing face camping and hard tunneling but I dont want killer powers gutted for it.
They should reward people who dont and punish those who do, doing a mixture of the two will be more beneficial.
Think of killers as a pet, you have to entice them into a more fun playstyle rather than the currently most beneficial one. Most players camp and tunnel because it's a strong tactic and they win from it
-
Bubbas great, fun killer to verse especially as they're always greedy for the chainsaw hits
While face camping bubba sucks thats just a camping issue more than just a bubba issue, plus I wouldn't want his power to get weaker for the sake of a few people who face camp with him as his power is only really good with certain addons as is and theres so many wacky hit boxes on loops you have to give some bubbas credit

After I died in a match yesterday I went in to watch and saw a Meg using it. She was doing really well with it and avoiding a lot of hits. Didn't seem to be useless as people are saying it is now.
I'm still enjoying the perk, gives me a chuckle too because of the animation lol but its saved my life at least once per game minimum.
It just takes more effort and planning to use like lithe etc. But it's still good, just not free distance anymore which is fair enough tbh
-
Survivors always the same.
Old DH was probably the only crutch perk, I used it and I said it was too strong (even though many people say it wasnt) still using DH and still getting good uses from it
-
Iv escaped more than iv lost but I have noticed alot of survivors throwing games as well.
-
@Emeal said:
Well if you know how hacking in games work, how its prevented and how its re-enabled all the time cause people are willing to pay to cheat.
then you would understand.
Doesnt matter, their anticheat should instantly track a killer or survivor teleporting rapidly across the map. Game was over in less than 30seconds, any simple system could track that and instant ban it
-
@C3Tooth said:
Camping and tunneling into Noed was also a mislead to kill rate.
Me double hook and let survivors go is also mislead to kill rate.
Agreed, if also stated many times that's why I hate noed and mmr based of kills not hooks

Old regression perks were much stronger. But people hear how Overcharge does 200% regression and pretend that the gen goes from 99 to 0 in 10 seconds or something like that.
Oh yeah definitely. People forget you need 400% regression to match 1 survivor and even then the killer cant be in 4 places at once.
I prefer the slowdown than regression tbh, it's nice not seeing my gen drop a huge amount of progress
-
@drsoontm said:
The issue with that "genius" plan is that for it to work, it would need to affect "everyone".
However there are survivors having good games already, including solo-queue players.
Usually it entails not giving up immediately. Something that can be detected easily (hook phase duration, no meaningful actions, ...)
Since the queues were back a reasonable level yesterday (a minute or less during the night) I've versed several teams. Some did pretty well. Very few did gave up, none on my "high MMR" killers. *
Their builds were interesting too. OTR and, surprisingly, DH were common (and DH used properly, an indication of skill).
Humans adapt.
edit:
*) Oh, the cherry on top, my "highest MMR" killer is Nurse and every survivor has fought me to the end (meaning hatch or escape).
I'm enjoying the new DH, its pretty fun to use still and survivors should have to try to win. While I can only speak on my experience games have been pretty good
-
@Marigoria said:

Yes, it looks like people are trying to make it look like the changes were to much. So the devs roll them back.
Honestly, the changes aren´t as bad as everyone claims. The new slowdown meta isn´t as oppresive as people claim. Yet they refuse to do gens.
Yeah definitely how I'm feeling, I havent died yet but it's still early days.
I'd rather this than the old gen regression perks stacked that take a gen from 99 to near zero.
People are definitely over reacting
-
@Audiophile said:
Just curious as to who will go on record as saying the game is survivor sided at this point. You can feel free to distinguish between vs solo or swf.
It always will be survivor sided if you're good at the game, if your bad then killer sided maybe
-
I love so many survivors mentality, people complain about dying but then wont bother doing the gens.
By the looks of it people will make up as many excuses as they can, fact is you shouldn't escape if your team arent doing gens and so many people are massively over reacting to 10extra seconds.
But it's always been the way of DBD getting 1 or more players not doing the main objective, its dumb but that's DBD... ignore the main objective, complain x is OP
-

- People who hate change coming out of the woodwork to complain.
By the way, as far as add-ons go, they said in their update right before the patch that they'll be tweaking the rarities of post-Prestige bloodwebs so you can continue getting Rares and Ultra Rares in those early webs after a new Prestige level.
I'd like that sooner than later tbh, slot of nice addon (not even strong ones) are quite high rarity like my poor silent billy

Cant run perks to "counter" gen slowdowns in solo q since everything else is already used for solo q
No that's your choice, you arent forced to run certain perks for you team. While I get you're trying to help them it's not worth it as even running kindred multiple people will be waiting for a save lol.
But a killer is using every perk to try achieve that and it takes the killer to do multiple actions while relying on the survivors to also do certain actions like breaking dull totems for no reason

Killers can still make it happen and it is a problem.
Killers still get 0 regression with that happening and by the time that's built up alot of the progress will be gone.
Plus survivors can counter alot of those debuffs from not detroying totems to give pent, heal to reduce thana or run resilience, prove thyself.
You run perks to counter perks, it's how perk based games are...

Maybe people don't want to run progression perks? Maybe people want to run chaser perks, or meme about, and not be forced into running specific perks just to smooth out the game and counter any regression/deadweight teammates?
You mean like killers had to? Like corrupt to stop people spawning on multiple gens across the map... or any form of gen defense because if survivors actually did generators youd lose gens fast...
