"A new feature that EA is excited to bring to the DBD is the lucky crate feature! For a mere $25.00, you can buy a cosmetic crate that has an extremely low chance of getting the item you actually want! Crates will only unlock a single piece of cosmetic (For instance, Head, Torso, and Leg cosmetics)."
I thought that it would be like this.

You two aren't on your knees praising the Ruin changes? Gonna have to take those tags of yours. Rip
No...not my status....💔💀

Based on an old thread. There have been a few engine updates since the last event mentioned, which was Winter. So I am assuming same goes with Lunar.
Old assets seem to not go through to the new engine so they can't be reused. They would have to make new ones for the new engine. However, their main goal is to not to have events and focus other things. Most likely game health, rework maps, killers and or perks.
Personally i would at least like bloodwebs changes so new people can get some streamers and get to experience an event here. I want hooks and gens too though.

Haddonfield or Ormond.

Ruin was fine

Windows of Opportunity, Spine Chill, Kindred and Q and Q

As Survivor, I will just leave. Next Game!
As Killer, let's finish this. Kill them all!
-
I do, but only with Botany Knowledge. While Self-Care is good in certain situations I rather get a med-kit or find someone to heal me. I used to take it with me every game back when i first started playing. I would always use it. Even with SWF. I stopped using it so often after I found different perk builds and it was in the way. It is still useful, but I didn't need it as much as I learned to adapt without it.
-
Michael Myers :)
-
Alien Isolation Chapter first choice, Resident Evil Chapter second and third Walking Dead paragraph.
-
People will adapt to change.
-
I like all of them and in a swf group too. Kindred is first from all of the ones you mentioned.

Killer: Not knowing when to break off chase, sometimes. Get frustrated when even starting a match because survivors are evil and i know im gonna start a hard game.
Survivor: Not remembering pallet/totem/window spawn areas. Not remembering good tiles to survive longer in chase. Likes to spin around and twerk in favorite custom outfit.

I only have Feng Min❤*Happy sigh*

I think it would be cool to have an Until Dawn chapter. The abilities you have might be hard to pull off while some can't work because how other survivors would react to some of the killer's perks/abilities.
For Survivor it can be Sam, Mike and Josh because to me they are the main characters even though you play as almost everyone.
For example: Sam's perks, it needs to fit her personality. Like she's courageous and altruistic. I haven't played that game in a very long time so i dont remember much.
The Wendigo could be Hanna as her addons could have better potential. Like Sister's corpse, Fake Love letter, Broken Glasses. For their powers i would like sound to be a part of it. Like if someone works on a gen for (x) seconds in the killer's terror radius. Their aura is seen for (x) seconds. While mimic is cool, but what can it do in the game to make it good?
It would be cool to have this in-game! This is a good start though for a idea list...thing. I can't think of the word. Great job! 😃

So far so good, it feels kind of the same. Maybe slightly better, slightly better.

So far so good, kind of the same.

Would a black flame for Hex totems be better too?.So it is harder to spot and instead of fire crackling sounds have it whisper Enitiy noises. I do like that if Blindness affected more things too.

What is the point of using Bond, Empathy, Dark Sense, Alert, Better Together, Detective's Hunch, Kindred, Premonition, Spine Chill, Small Game, Wake Up, or Windows of Opportunity when in a SWF group? They are all perks made to give the player information they are not suppose to have otherwise, but ALL of them are given for free thanks to SWF and just talking to each other. Leaving the entire SWF open to run a pure meta build of DS, BT, and an exhaustion perk of choice without having to sacrifice anything for that power.
Last I looked perk stacking, giving yourself more perks than intended, is cheating. Changing your own rank is also cheating last I looked into it. SWF allows low ranked players into high rank games, till recently it allowed high rank players into low rank games! That's called smurfing, something ban worthy in any game worth a damn.
SWF bypasses rank, screws matchmaking, and ruins the game's core balance. I don't care what the devs think or say it is. In any other form, in any other game. Something like SWF would be cheating pure and simple and Im going to call it as I see it.
DbD wouldn't be the nightmare to balance that it is if SWF wasn't forced into ranked gameplay. Im not saying you shouldn't play with your friends. I am saying though that you should keep broken/custom gameplay where it belongs, unranked.
Haha! You mentioned WOO, Spine Chill and Kindred and Small Game and i use those in my build when playing SWF or not. Not laughing at you but it's a coincidence.

Did you manage to complete the Rift in the end?
Yes i completed it around the 24-26 around there. With 3 master killer challenges left. I wouldn't have gotten it if i didn't play killer challenges in the other tomes.
-
I played about 3 hours a day everyday. I stopped playing for a week. I did every challenge but the last 3 for killer.
-
The people who made the cosmetics get them for free.

I love how the new map looks! So eerie looking.

First, tips.
Here's another way to go about it.
First you should secure a hit since the mechanic for his Yamaokas Wrath requires you to either wait long enough for the power to charge itself (but requires one blood-orb to get to 100%) or hit two Survivors and than suck up one blood-orb to get to 100%.
I recommend instead of getting the blood-orbs that the first injured Survivor gives off (if you don't find another Survivor during that chase), and instead just leave them there for the foreseeable future. The reason this is better for the future is because you won't get to 100% before the chase ends, not unless you spend about a minute or more in that chase.
Grabbing blood-orbs during the chase slows The Oni down, it's best to leave them there and grab them AFTER the chase or after your first Yamaokas Wrath.
anyways, continuing with that statement
Once in Yamaokas Wrath, you can move The Oni by tilting the mouse left or right, OR you can do the better alternative that most Billy players use. Most Billy players assign the Q and E keys to move the Killer/Survivor left or right when holding said key, Q is left, E and right, so if applied to The Oni or Billy, you can move a lot more accurately during your Demon Dash when holding these keys...
AND, if you also press D with E or Q with A, you can move to the left or right a lot faster AND a better angles to hit Survivors. Since A and D actually move The Oni side to side, A going to the left, and D going to the right, so when combining A and Ds side to side movement with Q and Es left to right directions, you can actually position your camera while moving around a loop to than hold down the M1 to Demon Strike forward on a Survivor!
People have done it before at cow tree, L-Wall and T-Wall, Jungle Gyms, etc... think of it as a flick for Billy... but it's a bit different for Oni.
While I don't think the recent patches to Oni has changed this, I believe it's still there to be used... but a little be harder to pull off.
If the Side to Side movement was removed, than the Q and E directional movement is still there to use, so do use that when Demon Dashing around and to areas you need to be!
conclusion (tl;dr)
Basically, chase and hit the Survivor and than wait until you see another Survivor during that chase OR just chase them and down them normally... it's best to leave the blood orbs for later since they can be useful for a future Yamaokas Wrath AND it slows down The Oni during his chase with the first Survivor...
Plus, once you down that Survivor, hitting another with your regular M1 will basically 90%/95% your charge meter, and if you do suck up the blood orbs for the first Survivor... you'll get the instant 100% when hitting a healthy Survivor... but you'll waste time in that chase and waste the orbs SINCE you'll basically be almost at 100% when hitting that 2nd Survivor and sucking up one blood orb afterwards (on the 2nd Survivor).
So personally, i'd just hit the first Survivor, chase and down them, leave the blood orbs before and after the chase (maybe take two or three), and than hit the next healthy Survivor and either have a 90%/95% meter or 100% meter if you took two or three blood orbs previously... NOT all the blood orbs they dropped, that's a waste imo.
Thank you for your input too!

It doesn't look that bad. I say it could be tweaked a bit. Not at bad as Quentin though.
-
It has potential. I'm getting RE 3 for the main game. That is something extra ill try. I wanna play the Healer. The Velma look a like.
-
Devs are just wanting data and depending on the data it will give the outcome to Ruin and other things in the ptb. I am worried for how it will effect certain killers, but it is ptb. It is subject to change nothing is for certain until it goes live. Just play it (Use Ruin) so they can get their data so they can make their adjustments.

You need to secure a hit first and foremost. If there's another health survivor nearby, try and switch focus to get your power practically instantly. If you don't see anyone else, chase the injured one. You can then get the blood midchase or after you down/lose them. When you get your power, just use it whenever you see fit. As long as you can injure people well, don't be afraid to activate your power as they drop blood orbs semi frequently. Oni kinda has to slug though when downing a survivor with Blood Fury or you just lose your power unfortunately :/
Thank you for answering. Just wondering on how could he be played.

Let's just see what happens tomorrow :)

Just learn to adapt.

Never use it when i play killer :)

A French killer or survivor would be nice, as my family came from France over a century ago. I'm not in touch with a whole lot of folklore, though. Not even sure what a fitting French killer would be.
Jack the Ripper would be an excellent fit, I think anyway. He's not French, but there's lot of interesting things they could do with a real life killer.
Interesting, what would a French killer be? It doesn't have to be folklore though. :)

An actual ghost that cannot be perceived by the survivors, but who downs them using the environment while simultaneously messing with their other senses as well. Won't happen though, I can imagine the bugs that would come with such a concept.
That's sounds like a fun killer to play as, but yeah the many bugs. It would be fun to see the killer throw a pallet at a survivor.

I think a native America killer would be cool. Someone who was a warrior during the time when America was first being colonized. He would be a bit like Nurse or Plague where he is not a malicious killer, just someone that kills for what they believe to be the greater good.
And if we are going with American history, a Civil War era soldier as survivors, specifically someone from the Confederacy. Kind of like the kind of person you'd almost cheer to have killed in a horror movie. IDK it would be interesting to me to see that. Plus it seems cliche to go with the Union for this kind of stuff honestly.
That sounds pretty cool and interesting.

I would like Dutch or Irish survivor, same with killer. I just like the lore.
