Strongly disagree about the Survivor perks. These are the most interesting new Survivor perks in a long time, and it's nice to actually be excited for a new Survivor for once.
Completely agree about the lack of new Realms.
And as for the Twins themselves, this feels like the Blight all over again. On the PTB he was garbage and it looked like the chapter would be terrible, but after getting tweaked he was a viable killer. Twins could very well turn out the same way.
Let's not forget that the Blight PTB was a week old

Dumbass me thought you meant a local pub

Could be both of us.
I usually see survivors commenting on end game chat. Killers usually say gg.
Or it's survivors ganging up on the killer and he is pushed against the wall defending himself.
Half the times, killers don't say anything.
As a solo main (I play both sides but survivor more) I can agree that it tends to be the survivors who trash talk at the end, probably because there's 4 of them against one.
However we shouldn't dismiss that killers have done it before, it's just more common for survivors to do it.
For example, when I was playing with @Ribanne some months back, I had a Pyramid Head tell me to 'kill myself' and for my mother to get covid. Luckily Ribanne hadn't left BHVR by that point so she kept me updated on the guy and revealed he got a 24 hour ban, which was good

For an original killer, I would love a lumber jack or a coal miner as a killer.
For a licensed killer, it would have to be Jason or Pennywise.
Edit: I just realized Trapper was a coal miner, ok I'll stick with lumber jack.

if Legion did what he does now but without the deep wound thing, he might be somewhat decent (like a Billy/Nurse 2.0)

Definitely Fries

I hope you win this battle, good luck to you my friend, stay safe x

On a serious note, I wonder if this is hinting at the Huntress add-on pass, because they usually change some of the perks too and with bloodlust disabled temporarily it practically makes beast of prey useless.
If my theory is correct, then I'd expect the Huntress add-on pass to be in the upcoming Mid-Chapter patch (or the one after).

Clearly someone thought it was a problem when they made this thread. Otherwise we wouldn't be here having this discussion.
The OP didn't see it as a problem, they knew that the whole leatherface/Claudette thing was controversial and they wanted to hear people's opinions on the matter, that's all.

Off topic but it's weird seeing a purple Q&Q

That means goodbye though! Where are you going? D:
Nowhere, I just like the word because of Valorant

Anyway, I remember using Q&Q when I first started playing and it helped me a lot with the stealth.

So green or something for the aura ones? I can see that. Would be pretty cool.
I imagine they'll remove or rework the exhaustion one considering its from a time where exhaustion ticked down while running.
I didn't mean for any specific action the add-on makes however now that you mention it that isn't a bad idea.
The way I meant was for any add-on to change the colour, like red, green, blue, yellow, any bright colours that would fit with a carnival.
-
Another thing I'd like to add on (it's more of an aesthetic change than a balance change) is to make certain add-ons change the colour of the gas.
-
My solution to make the people complaining happy is to remove all the faces instead of just Claudettes to avoid racial exclusion.

There's no problem unless you make it a problem. Grow up and act like an adult.
No one's making it a problem, so unless your comment means anyone in general, your response isn't entirely helpful and unnecessary.

A lot of people view it as racist because they think it depicts 'blackface'. There's a difference.
Blackface is when you paint your face brown/black. If you look at the history of blackface, it was used to mock black people. Recently, when there were cosplays taking place for dead by daylight tournaments, the official dbd twitter disqualified someone for cosplaying Claudette because they were a white woman painting their face brown.
Leatherface isn't depicting blackface, he is literally wearing the skin of a black person on his face because it's his natural instinct. To him it's his moral imperative. He doesn't discriminate (he will wear anyone's face, whites/blacks/Asians) and he's too dumbfounded to know what racism is.
Complexion is a trophy to Leatherface no matter the colour, so if he sees it, he takes it.

After reading your replies to some of these comments, I feel your frustration and I hope I can help you.
Anyway, I had it happen to me once and it was against a Spirit (I could see her like 20 feet away from where I spawned), my immediate instinct was to hide and look for the nearest pallet in case she found me so I could stall her and give enough time to my teammates to work on generators. Luckily she didn't see me.
My advice would be to prepare and use your sight to your advantage. If you spawn and already hear the terror radius, hide as quick as you can and look for the nearest pallet immediately. Loop around for a bit until you see the nearest window/pallet and take advantage of it.
I hope this helps.

It's funny, I find a lot more killers than survivors sweating pubs. I thought it would be the other way around.
But yea I wish there wasn't as many people sweating from both killer and survivor, just kinda makes the game unfun when you play against a ruin undying spirit or a 4 man DS UB squad.
I'm quite a literal person, so when I read 'sweating pubs' I thought of a local bar with full of sweaty dudes

I never really interacted with you but I know that Dan did, at least a bit. If you were ever bitchy or mean to him, I'm sure he's forgiven you. I'm sure of it.
It's really good of you to apologise like this too. Goon on you :)
I don't remember Dan interacting with me much, and I hope I was never hostile to him. But if there's one thing I know, is he's proud of you.

A stomp seems more..............................violent, then a kick plus the whole kicking the lil (bad word) seems more fitting, stomping just eh I dunno, or maybe he can be grabbed by those ears and tossed over the pallet. ^^
You're against something being more 'violent' yet it's dbd we're talking about here...
-
I feel the same, and it really annoys me when someone says "oh but they said on stream that they have two teams working on bvrmoboiptrpoityk0[ponkoiykno-ytu[0kyu" when if that is the case then why do chapters release every two months but balance changes happen every 100 years.
-
I was playing against a Huntress yesterday and she hit the air and got me down...
-
But they can't do cross progression between PS4/5, Xbox and PC lmaooo ok
-
...
Didn't I just read a very similar post in this format but about Pyramid Head...
-
In fact, it was a week ago that it hit 3 years since I've been playing this game.
Anyway, my first game I was a David, and it was against a Hillbilly, I had no idea what to do to avoid him, I just knew that I had to do gens and I always hid in lockers when I heard the heartbeat.
-
I find it interesting that you bring up how Pyramid Head counters BT and DS, so let me ask you this:
Do you actually think PH is unhealthy in his current state or are you just complaining because you're not good at counteracting him?

apparently that is exactly the problem some people have now.. which is totally weird..
They have a problem with something no longer being a set? Aren't half of the complaints on this forum about linked skins?
-
Apparently it's no longer a set so you're all good

they are being reworked, keys too
no idea when, it may take a long time
that's all we know
have a nice day
About the expected date, according to insider information the key and mori reworks are apparently in the next mid-chapter update, don't @ me on that though because everything is subject to change.
-
Even though it got banned, I'm glad it eventually happened c; I just hope it can happen for the 2nd idea too
-
On the PTB it showed it was a set, however when I went back to the live version I was able to mix and match, it was probably a mistake from BHVR but I hope it stays as a non-linked outfit.

Honestly I hope he gets some sort of carnival chase music otherwise it just isn't the Clown.

This. His proportions are not that of a baby or even a toddler. Babys have large heads and small, chubby appendages.
Victor is long and skinny. He's more akin to a little gremlin.
And I don't recall babies having razor sharp teeth either

Almo comfirmed that her add-ons were getting looked at at some point but no changes to her base-kit because she's somewhat decent.

She's 18, devs have stated no underage characters will be in the game.
From the year she was taken (her outfit is the one in season 1) she was 16.

I agree, it's getting a lot better if the main complaint someone has regarding violence is in a video game.
Especially in a game that's listed in the horror category.

So who are you to tell people what something looks like to them? If it was just one or two people that thought that, then maybe you have a point, but that's not the case. Quite a few people are complaining about it.
Actually telling someone what they should believe something looks like is just about one of the most disrespectful things you could do, and to add to that calling them ignorant as well.
ok yes man

These all are excuses, in the end of the day victor is looking like a baby.
I would reiterate my previous argument but you deem them as 'excuses' and this is obvious bait, so I'm not wasting my time.
-
If it looks like a baby then it is a baby [QUOTE]
You're either trolling or extremely ignorant and that is possibly a disrespectful thing to say without doing your research.
Have you ever heard of deformities? Ever heard of Noonan syndrome? You know, the genetic condition where normal parts of the body don't develop?
Yeah, maybe do research because if something looks like something, then it must be that shouldn't it? Oh, that person looks nice, they must be a nice person right? Wrong, looks are deceptive.

I'm not even a King fan I won't lie about it, people don't like that I don't like his stuff, but I will admit having Penny-wise would be amazing to see even though I'm terrified of clowns, but I'd love to see what the devs could do.
you're terrified of clowns? how do you put up with the current one we have
-
@itsaconehead said:
The thing is, Stephen King is hard to reach. Not only that, but he is a very very controlling person when it comes to his creations, if the Devs did one thing wrong that King didn't like then they'd lose the license. I learned all this about him while studying film and TV, that's why Stanley Kubrick changed the colour of the car in the movie, he wanted to get under King's skin.
Yeah King's not so lenient with his licenses unlike the others. That's why Pennywise (or The Shining) would be a dream license to have in dbd.

People are seriously getting mad about 'crushing' a demonic little monster that a lot of people confuse with a baby?
By that logic, I could get mad at BHVR for adding Plague because she glorifies bulimia but I don't see anyone complaining about that.
-
The Nea and her little brother
-
Not really a franchise but a movie called Hush. It's about this deaf woman who has her house robbed and without spoiling anything she survives but barely. It'd make an alright chapter
