OMG Spot is adorable! I want toast for my kitty (actually, I want a whole wardrobe for her but she may kill me in my sleep so I'll refrain from it) . When I get my kitty spayed, will I have to give her wipe downs to keep her clean? Are there special wipes for cats? Or is it okay for the duration of her healing not to bathe? I don't think she'll struggle too much with a cone, I recently got a cheap collar from the Dollar Tree, just to test out her reaction to it and she was very positive. Didn't struggle with it at all and seems to actually enjoy the bell. I've removed it since I learned it's not a break away collar and will be ordering better ones from Amazon (okay, okay, I want a fancier one that show cases her majestic beauty).

Yea, you're completely changed my mind on kittens. I've had lots of cats growing up, but they all lived outside and their mothers did all the care taking, we just fed them, pet them and tied bologna to a string and made them chase it. I couldn't handle them now with my old age (I'm not that old, under 40, but life has been hard) with how you put it, and I am a worry wart and don't need to think about them when I'm at work. When things get better, I will consider getting Miss Piggy a new friend, but they'll be at least 8 months old.

    Thanks again for the advice.

Happy to help <3 I know the feeling, I wanna dress mine up, and they would be very upset if I did...they'd give me Sadako's Condemned glare, times 100 lol

In regards to post-spay, the vet will give you a list of post-care instructions (what to do, what not to do, and what to keep an eye out for, and they can answer any extra questions you may have!), but the main things are to not fuss with the area at all while the incision heals (goes for both you and her), and not let her jump, run, or play too much for the first week or so.

  • I absolutely adore the hair, glasses, and jacket, the texturing of the jacket looks fantastic!

You're absolutely correct with how many unwanted cats are in shelters. Heck, it's worse than that, many aren't even taken to shelters and are just dumped in parks. I used to live near one where people would come just to kick their pets out of their cars and drive off. Lots of cats would wander to our apartment grounds looking for food and it was obvious they weren't regular strays because they were friendly and let us pet them. They never lasted though, due to the influx of other animals that would scare them off.

I was being a little selfish because I wanted to experience my kitties motherhood more than I wanted her to😅, but yeah, it's better to get her fixed soon. I'll do it when I get paid next. I spoke to my roommate about her and he says he highly doubts she's ever been to the vet so I need to take her to get her shots and have an overall health check.

Thank you so much for the advice! Fun fact, I live in the city where the creators of the Furminator are from! I'll be sure to get it because I can make a whole new cat with all the fur she sheds on my things. Don't worry about plants, I don't have any and don't plan on getting one. I'll be more careful with what she eats, I just feel bad when I eat and she comes begging for some, so I'll have to discipline myself. I also have to put everything in cupboards or Tupperware because shes a huge piggy. I woke up the other day and found two factory sealed bags of popcorn shredded on the floor because she had a taste for it. I also caught her trying to tear into a small slice of chocolate cake that was completely wrapped in plastic wrap. Luckily, I got to her in time before she ate from it, I know it's bad for her.

That's heartbreaking, our neighborhood is a similar area. Fortunately as large as the neighborhood is, everyone here cares for the cats in our neighborhood (and we have Trap-Neuter-Release groups come through as well that assist with making sure they get neutered, spayed, and vaccinated).

Also, I will add...as someone that has raised kittens from all ages...they are a LOT of work, and I mean a LOT. Like babyproof to the maximum, every nook and cranny they could crawl into, you have to block off. And if one or more get sick, it can be very stressful and scary, even heartbreaking.

Yeah our kitties our spoiled too and get Spring Water in their fountain (plus side, the fountain stays cleaner than with tap water). In regards to them eyeing your plate, stand firm, you're doing what's right for her (and if she gets a little whiny, a Tempations treat or two usually does the trick and keeps em happy)

In regards to getting her spayed, sometimes the ASPCA (or similar orgs) will do discounted or even free neuter/spays for pets (something we took advantage of a few times), you can check online or call a local vet, they are always happy to help give out that info!

Also, be warned, she may need to wear a cone or inflatable donut for a week or two after the spaying to prevent her licking the sutures...for our most recent kitties, they got toast (2 ripped it off immediately, Spot was a champ and rocked the look):

  • Aww Missy Piggy is absolutely gorgeous! I'm glad you are able to give her the love and care she needs! I echo bm33's post, and will add a few as well:

I would also suggest a water fountain for her, if you are able. Pet fountains encourage drinking more water, which will help keep her healthy. In regards to human food, I would abstain entirely, as there may be ingredients in some human food that could be harmful, and in general, very high-calorie/unhealthy for a pet's diet. I admit I have given my cats all-natural, no-sodium deli chicken, but it was very sparingly, and I checked with our vet beforehand that they were ok to have it (plus at the time they were semi-feral, and it helped them get more used to us..now they get those lickable cat treat tubes once in a while, and don't miss the chicken at all lol).

Furminator is a good brand of cat brushes, and I also have the Safari Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush which is really nice (you push the base of the brush up and it expels the hair so you don't have to pick it out). For litter boxes, larger boxes with high-walls are ideal if you are able (or even just a large box so she's not re-treading in earlier trips so much, and even with one cat, aim to clean it at least once a day). I would also get a litter mat, preferably one where the top-half is a grate and the bottom half is a solid mat (we have the iPrimo brand one, there are a few others that are similar, but believe me, they are so much easier to clean than our old one-piece mat!).

  • Hello, when you want to report a bug, please check the Bug Reports section. There is a report open on this currently: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/313460/badham-preschool-breakable-walls-are-pre-broken

In the future, if there is not a report open on an issue or bug you are encountering, you can open a Bug Report following the guidelines.

  • GoodBoyKaru was kind enough to link it, but here it is again, go ahead and upvote the report if you have experienced it: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/313460/badham-preschool-breakable-walls-are-pre-broken

And if you happen to run into a potential bug or issue in the future, make sure to head over to Bug Reports: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs check and see if the issue has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

  • I am excited! Seeing her come out of the well for the first time in the PTB Killer selection, and watching her gameplay (as well the new Survivor, and survivors going up against her) made me very hype for tomorrow to arrive!

Also there is the first time I saw her mori, I had a stream of the PTB open while I was working at the PC. I wasn't really paying attention to anything being said on the stream, but that moment I looked over, in a split second, it went from what my brain registered as DbD HUD/gameplay, to Sadako's furious glare...and I practically fell out of my chair, it got me pretty good lol

  • I would take these over to Bug Reports, as Mooks mentioned: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Check and see if they have been reported already and upvote them, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

And congrats on getting your Adept Trapper Achievement!

  • I personally try not to stay aside from some last minute heals for bloodpoints, or ensuring my team is ok (sometimes they run back in, and if they do I will decide to stay or leave depending on the EGC timer/the situation, etc). I have only really done it for the previously mentioned reasons, or more recently the Tome challenges where I need to wait on other survivors to exit before I can leave myself.

...and sometimes I like to leave a Killer an item as a gift before I leave, because I thought they were fun, and may wanna try and wait a second or two for them to stop by and see it <3 if its obvious they aren't around, then I'll go ahead and head out and let the match end lol

  • Closing up this thread. As there have been multiple instances of it here on this thread, a reminder that the admission or promotion of Unsportmanlike Conduct (such as DCing) are against our Forum Rules.

  • Hey OneGoodBoyDemo!

If you believe you have encountered a bug, please go ahead over to Bug Reports: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

  • To appeal a Discord ban, you can reply on the message you received regarding your ban, or by sending a DM to the Elemental Bot. For more information regarding ban appeals, you can find them here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/140-ban-appeals

  • Hey ExtraRen!

When you want to report a bug, go ahead and check the bug report section: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

  • Yes, Bloodpoints earned in game (that is capped at one million) are a separate pool than the bonus bloodpoints received through things like Rank Reset and bloodpoint codes. So, in theory, if you have 500,000 earned BP, and you are Iridescent 1 Killer and Survivor and get 2 million BP from Rank Reset, you will have a total of 2,500,000 blood points, and will still be able to earn 500,000 in game before you hit the earned BP cap!

  • When it comes to Valentine's Day, I stick with the classics:

    ichoochoochooseyou.png

My other half and I send this to each other every year lol

And Happy Early Anniversary Mushwin! With us, we just usually have a nice dinner from one of our favorite places, then wait for Februrary 15th...Discounted Chocolate Day OwO

  • Cleaning up and closing this thread here. It has already been discussed many times as to the reason why the unlockable Leatherface masks were removed.

  • For me it is Whispers, 100% Whispers day and night lol Depending on the Killer and/or build, Deerstalker and Sloppy Butcher get honorable mentions too.

As for my favorite generic Survivor Perk...Plunderer's Instinct, I use that one quite a bit for fun loot builds, and I know sometimes finding an item can mean an advantage you may not have had without it. I used Premonition quite a lot when I started the game, then eventually moved to Spine Chill and felt comfortable enough to enjoy throwing on Resilience depending on build, challenge, etc, I think they are also great.

  • As VaJaybles was kind enough to touch on, we have temporarily disabled images being posted to the Forums due to some recent events; an announcement with more information is currently pinned to the top of the Forums.

In regards to what may have been in your images: Yes, a reminder that we do have a rule on this Forum about Naming and Shaming. If a video, image, or comment will reflect negatively on others, the name(s) MUST be censored out or removed.

If they broke the rules with their comments towards you in game (as noted under Communications Abuse: insults, intimidation, hate speech, etc), all that is needed is an in-game report to flag the comments for the ACMs to see and review; Support tickets for this are optional. If you wish to review game rules, you can view them here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

If any harassment occurred elsewhere (PSN/XBox DMs, Steam messages etc), they would need to be reported to the platform they occurred on.

  • Hey there!

There are a total of 10 items to earn by the Red Envelopes; 8 character cosmetics (which it seems you have all 8 of them) and 2 Charms (that are for both Killer and Survivor).

Survivor: Striped Top (Jane), Striped Punk Pants (David), Claw-Marked Beanie (Kate)

Killer: Festive Gown (Nurse, Body), Savage Smile (Clown, Head), Golden Stinger (Trapper, Weapon), Glaring Blood (Artist, Head), Entrancing Gown (Artist, Body)

    Charms: Lunar Tiger, Courageous Tiger

  • As others have answered, slugging as you have mentioned is not bannable, nor is it considered taking the game hostage, as the game will naturally end when the bleedout bar has fully depleted on both survivors.

We have a list of the Game Rules and what are (and are not) reportable offenses listed here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

  • Closing up this thread, as the OP has been repeatedly argumentative and attacking those that have disagreed with them. Even if you disagree with another's thoughts and opinions on a topic, please remember to always be civil and respectful of others, and their opinions.

  • I like that idea too, even if its just the walls, Killer-specific ones (Trickster could have his posters and stuff on the basement wall, etc) or ones themed for events would be neat...mine would probably be Halloween themed year-round (just like me lol)

  • Cleaning and up and closing for comments towards others on the thread, and also as others already stated, bans are not discussed here on the Forum whatsoever. In regards to the issue, Forum bans are not able to be appealed - also, on Steam, a person can reply on their ban notice if they believe that they've been banned unfairly.

For more information, we have it listed here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/140-ban-appeals

Editing to add, Support does not deal with forum bans as they are not appealable.

  • A reminder to keep the discussion civil and respectful, please. You can discuss things here on topic with the thread, without attacks on others. Thank you.

  • I'm so sorry you're dealing with stress, sending all the positive energy to you <3

Here is our outdoor/garage cat, Blue, snuggling with her Dino Buddy:

  • To report someone for breaking in-game rules such as cheating/hacking, make sure record video of the match (which on PS4 you can do via the "Share" button, and from there can upload it to a linked YouTube account), and then report them in game (required), as it will help flag the match. After that, you can submit a ticket to report with video evidence to Support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

In regards to information where it asks for Gamertag or Steam 64 ID, you can put the Gamertag as it showed in game. For more information on reporting, you can find it here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

  • That one is a little tough for me, I like them both a lot, and honestly play them about the same amount (not as much as other killers I feel more comfortable with). Clown for me was quicker for to pick up and learn in regards to their power, but I admit I like Spirit's perks and playstyle as well, her power will take some time to get used to using, but a ton of fun when you get the hang of it! If I really sit down and think on their perks, I use Spirit and Clown perks about the same, I think they may fall into how you prefer to play (I will admit, I love Spirit's Hex: Haunted Grounds on Trapper).

I think there's some good suggestions and reasons for a certain killer listed in here! If we're extending the list to Deathslinger and Oni...personally, I'm hands-down Oni because I love his design, and while I agree I personally prefer Spirit and Clown's perks over Oni's, running around bonking Survivors is too much fun for me lol

  • A reminder to keep this thread on topic, and civil and respectful of others, please. You can agree, and agree to disagree, without attacking others or their opinions. Thank you.

  • Happy New Year! I hope 2022 is an absolutely fantastic year for everyone!

  • Hey there! The best place to report bugs is over in Bug Reports: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

  • Yup, as ImBrakingBike pointed out, that will direct you to the ticket for Support, and the ACMs will review the report ticket. Also, if you have issue uploading the video directly to the ticket, you can upload it to Youtube, set it to Unlisted, and link it in the report.

  • Cleaning up and closing this thread, as it has quickly devolved into off-topic arguing and attacks. Please remember to keep comments civil and respectful; towards others and their opinions alike.

  • Closing up the thread, per the OP's request.

  • As mentioned, bans for things like cheating or hacking are never issued without evidence; it is not done on an in-game report alone. The ACMs always require evidence of the rule break, and does not issue a ban when evidence is not present. So long as a player is playing by the in-game rules (as it sounds like you and your friends were doing), there is no need to worry.

If you run into this player again that you mentioned, or any other player you believe are hacking/cheating (or breaking other in-game rules), record video of the match, report them in-game (required), and submit a ticket to Support with the video evidence of the match: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/

For more information on the Game Rules and Report process, you can find them here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

  • Cleaning up and closing this thread here, as the OP has been argumentative, and attacking those that have disagreed with them. As a reminder, there are those here on the forums that you will disagree with on one or more topics, but please remember to keep disagreements and conversations with others, and their thoughts on the topic, civil and respectful. Thank you.

  • I'm sorry, we do not discuss bans here on the Forum, nor are we able to do anything about them here, I'm afraid. If the ban is permanent, and you would like more information and wish to appeal the ban, please contact Support by making a ticket here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us

For more information on Ban appeals, you can find them here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/140-ban-appeals

  • As other here have mentioned, we do not discuss bans on the Forum. We have no ability here on the Forum to do anything regarding in-game bans, and as you are aware, temporary bans are not able to be appealed, as noted here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/140-ban-appeals

  • Yes, as commented above, the best spot for posting bugs and issues of this kind is the Bug Report section: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs

  • I personally really enjoy playing as Hag, but as far as why I don't play her often, I usually get lured away by dailies or rift challenges for other killers, or feel like playing killers I tend to "main" like Trapper, just kinda out of comfort or what I'm feeling that day.

But overall I love her playstyle (and her appearance with her cosmetics)! I'm a big fan of placing random traps in areas survivors tend to run with less caution, and I used to run a Ruin/Devour Hope combo on her that worked fairly well, but that was a while ago...when I get back to her I need to give her loadout a makeover lol

  • Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (and also Happy MST3K Turkey Day!). And no matter how you celebrate the day, I hope you all have a good one!

Also heck yes, I'm so excited for Pumpkin Pie right now, and new dishes and desserts my family whips up to try!

  • As bm33 kindly linked, that is the most recent update regarding Switch and Cross Progression. I'm afraid at this time, there is no further information on when or if cross progression will be available on any other platforms.

  • That is how the perk works, and is meant to be worded:

    image.png

I understand it could be a little confusing, but the shared keyword is triggered; the description notes that is what the perk does with the affected skill checks within the Terror Radius when this perk is equipped.

If you would like to suggest a change to the wording of the perk, the Feedback and Suggestions section is the absolute perfect place to put it!

  • Hey Marihel,

This one sounds like something for the Bug Reports section: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines! And in the future, don't worry if you aren't entirely sure, you can check Bug Reports and see if something similar has been reported, but its the best place to report anything you feel may really be a possible bug or issue (and if its not a bug, it'll get marked as such).

  • Hey there BaschFonRonsenburg,

When you want to report a bug, please head over to the bug report section: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report on it following the guidelines.

  • A reminder to everyone, keep the discussion civil and respectful, please. I understand camping is one of many things that sparks many debates and discussions, but please discuss it in a manner that is respectful of others, and their opinions on the subject.

  • I would like to remind everyone to keep your comments towards one another civil and respectful, and please remember to keep the comments related to the topic of the thread. If you would like to discuss anything else further, please feel free to make a new thread on the topic you wish to continue. Thank you.

  • In regards to Cross Progression on the Switch, an announcement was made earlier this week: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/293817/switch-cross-progression-update#latest

I'm afraid there is no further information at this time on if/ when cross progression will happen on any other platforms.

  • HeyIamFran,

When you want to report a bug, please head over to the Bug Reports section, currently there is a report open on this issue: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/294412/dead-dawg-saloon#latest

And of course, when you wish to report a bug, check and see if its been reported first and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

  • Stepping in with a reminder, please keep the discussion civil, respectful, and on topic. Thank you.
