Stepping in with a reminder, please remember to keep the discussion civil and respectful towards each other, and their points of view.

Hey Zoomboss,
When you want to report a bug, please check the bug report section: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

I honestly don't bring items into a match too often aside from challenges/daily, and maybe a medkit or flashlight once in a while. And there's times I do but I just plain forget because of something else I was focusing on (either blood webs, perks, or distracted by something irl), so I'll load into a match wondering where my medkit is and I just go "Oh... right, I need to equip it to bring it into a trial!"
But I definitely do agree, Shaped, even if I am more than content playing Killers with-out any add-ons, I always feel the need to have some equipped!
-
As some of the discussion drifted into talk that was a bit off topic, just wanted to pop in with a reminder to keep the discussion on the primary topic of the thread, please.
-
I'm not sure myself as to why, to me it still is an... udder mystery!
But per another thread:
-
That would be adorable, and I think even a little charm version of the lion with the game controller from the cosmetic would be cute as well!
-
Please remember to keep the discussion in here civil and respectful; you can disagree about things regarding the topic of Spirit without being disrespectful towards one another.
-
Personally, I'll say Leon, but a very, VERY close second would be Deathslinger. Oh my goodness, and could even make a beard for it for the patchy/long facial hair areas (its not as daunting as it sounds, I promise; we did something similar for patchy zombie hair using doll hair you can order from Doll Restoring sites, or can use wig fibers as well)! I think both of those (actually, all the choices) would be absolutely fun outfits to put together!
Also, if its ok to ask, have you decided on your Halloween costume yet? I absolutely love Halloween, and so excited for the costume possibilities!

If you are considering changing your Forum username and would like more information on doing so, you can find information about it here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/207-forum-name-changes
And a small reminder that is also stated in the above link, you can only change your name one time, make sure you have a few top choices picked out that you like!
-
If you truly feel someone was cheating in a match, along with the in-game report (required), you can submit a Ticket with video evidence of the match to Support for the ACMs to look over and review: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new if they are console, their console gamertag as it appeared in the match can be used in the report as they would not have a Steam ID 64.
Also, please remember not to name the person here; we do have a Naming and Shaming rule here on the forums.
If you wish to review Game Rules and Reporting information, you can find them here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

I'm with GoodBoyKaru; whether I'm in a Killer or Survivor role, it honestly depends on the state of the game up to that point. And, in fairness, I've had both Killer and Survivor matches go completely the opposite way than initially expected between last completed gen and EGC!
-
Stopping in with a reminder, please keep comments toward one another civil and respectful. You can disagree with people and their comments, but do so in a civil manner, please.

Speaking of overbaking, the recipe said to cook it for 25 minutes but it wouldn't stop wiggling until it was there for 50...
I'm sure that'll be fine right?
That's something I still struggle with a lot (i've had brownies go from mud to brick in a window of 5 minutes of overbaking, still confounds me at times), so I will actually quote someone I know that knows a LOT more than I (they do baking/cooking videos). I asked them the same question a while back, and they told me this:
"I always ballpark it when the batter isn't glossy in the middle anymore and doesn't jiggle (or jiggles ever so slightly). There's always the toothpick test, too! On brownies, some crumbs will stick but as long as the batter doesn't look really wet it should be fine"
There are especially a few pre-made ones I buy, they will look like watery chocolate mud for a full hour in the oven, but by some force in the Universe, they set up fine once outside the oven. For me, I'm to that point that as long as its somewhat/mostly set, I doesn't usually mind it too much lol
-
Awesome job, it looks so delicious I wish the picture could be made real though the magic of the internet!
And same as far as cooking skill; but please believe me when I say that looks far and away better than a lot of my brownies (I usually have a bad habit or either underbaking, overbaking, or leaving out an ingredient somehow).
-
Let's remember to keep the comments civil and respectful, please. Disagreements on the subject can be made respectfully, and without resorting to belittling one another.
-
Closing the thread per the OP's request. Also a reminder this is a video game forum, please refrain from bringing up real world incidents such as the one brought up here on this thread.
-
A quick reminder, keep the comments and disagreements civil and respectful, please. I understand NOED is a heated topic, but it can be discussed without being disrespectful to one another. Thank you.
-
I love Head On for Survivor (pretty much always paired with Quick and Quiet), and for Killer, I think I have to say Devour Hope (2nd place is Iron Maiden)
-
After cleaning up some comments, going to lock this thread and remind everyone to stay civil and respectful when commenting or disagreeing with others. Also a reminder the promotion or endorsement of Unsportsmanlike Conduct is against Forum rules as well, please be mindful not to do so.
As already mentioned, when you agree to a game's EULA, you agree to their code of conduct, no different than when you agreed to join the Forums, you agree to adhere to the Forum Rules. Unsportsmanlike Conduct, such as DCing from a match, is a break of the rules in which you agreed upon. If you wish to review game rules, you can do so here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
-
As already mentioned, we do not discuss bans on the Forum.
If you wish to try and appeal your ban, you can find information on doing so here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/140-ban-appeals
-
Along with the required In-game report, you can use their Gamertag as it appeared in the match for the Support Ticket if you are unable to obtain their Steam ID 64. As far as player ID, you only need your Steam ID 64 (if on Steam) or Console Gamertag, along with your Player Cloud ID, which you can find under "Settings" while in game.
For more information on the report process, you can find it all here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
-
Thank you for your feedback and points of view in regards to the map, but going to close this up due to a couple of comments, and also not being the section for it. When you want to report bug, please post them over into the Bug Report Section: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

Hey Tactrix!
When you want to report a bug, you can post it over in the Bug Report section: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

Personally, I rather enjoy Nurse, Huntress, Twins, Ghost Face, Demogorgon, Blight, Pig (snoot boops!), and Trapper...if I step in a one-in-a-million bear trap in the middle of nowhere, I laugh my backend off, I can't even be mad. When it happens, often in post game the Trapper and I get a good laugh from it lol
-
Please remember that the admission, encouragement, or endorsement of Unsportmanlike Conduct (DCing) is against forum rules, please avoid doing so. The Leave Match button exists because there are times you have to leave the match like an IRL emergency, or a bug that completely breaks the game (i.e. stuck in place, etc), but leaving a match because you don't want to play against something, is not one of those reasons. I understand there may be matches that feel they will be unfun before they even start, but please play the game out to the best of your ability.
Swapping to an item last second is not against the rules, you can view the things that are against the game rules here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
This thread is being locked, as it has been escalating and some topics were being discussed that are against the rules.
-
As stated in the game's EULA, virtual goods cannot be refunded: https://deadbydaylight.com/en/eula
-
We do not discuss bans publicly on the Forum, nor are we able to handle Discord bans here. If you wish to find out more information regarding your ban, you can find it here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/140-ban-appeals

This is Tilly. She and her 3 siblings will be 11 months old tomorrow! She wishes all the best to everyone needing cuteness today... also she said if you have any cheese left on your plate, she'll gladly polish it off for you.
Edit: Breaking news:
-
Closing this up here. We promote inclusivity here on the Forum, and we do not condone threads with the intent to single out players from one platform.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter which platform a player is on. Whether they are playing more immersed and timid, or altruistic and brave, it's the player themselves that decide how to play the game within the Game Rules, as they have every right to do.
-
Hey there CaramelisedCloud! If you wish to report a bug, you can post it over in the Bug Reports section: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

We have forum rules that are set in place for a reason, and we do not allow any kind of inappropriate content being posted if it's too much; and at times those kind of things can escalate very, very quickly and can cause consequences for multiple users.
Whether the game is 18+ rated or not, we have a certain standard we want to uphold on the forums. We do have it also in the rules when it comes to content like this: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/137-forum-rules
If you would like to leave Feedback in regards to the Moderation Team, they can be sent via ticket to Support.

Any chance of merging them since so many have been made in last couple days? The multiple posts are really what starts to frustrate people because it starts clogging up the pages.
Some threads are locked and no longer able to be commented on, but if the need arises in the future, we will look into doing so.

This was much needed, thank you for jumping in and calming the crowd down.
Anyways, what do you think about Springtrap?
I'm afraid my familiarity with the character is a bit limited (only played FNAF 1 many years back), but I always enjoy hearing people's ideas for the game (whether its any kind of character including popular characters, their ideas for random perks, events, cool thoughts for maps, etc)!
-
I am just going to step in here real quick. Its ok for people to be excited and speculate about things and wonder whether or not it would fit in the realm of the game, and this character in particular has been a favorite one of many to discuss for quite some time. If you do not have interest in the topic of a thread, there are many other threads to participate in of varied topics, as well as polls, cool stuff over in Media Lounge and Creations, and random stuff over in Off-Topic to talk about.
No matter your opinion on the topic, all that is asked is that you remain civil and respectful with others and their opinions while doing so. Also, remember to keep the discussion on topic, please.
-
A reminder to keep the discussion civil and respectful, please. There is no need to attack others for their ideas and opinions.
-
As others have previously mentioned, we do not discuss bans on the Forums, nor are we unable to do anything in regards to a Discord Ban here.
For more information on appealing a Ban, including Discord, you can find more information here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/140-ban-appeals

Where can someone go to extract the video am i able to go to a match history to get the video like leagur of legend or i should stream all my game in case i get a hacker
There is currently no ability for the game to record the match itself for report submission; they will need to be recorded by the player. Consoles have the ability to record the play session with their Share/record options, and for PC, if you have a Nvidia Graphics card, they offer a recording software with GeForce Experience (there is also OBS that can record your match as well).
For more information on how to Record for Reports, you can find it here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/66835/recording-evidence-for-your-player-report
-
Along with the in-game report, you can submit a Support ticket with video evidence for the ACMs to review: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000942011
For more information on the Game Rules and Report Process, you can see them here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

omg the Oogie Boogie song as part of his terror radius...I love the all the thought put into of which parts of the song would be which Killer actions!

Hey SpartaGuy541! If you'd like to report a bug, you can post them to the Bug Report section: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, and missing out on playing the game with your daughter on Switch! There is no further information at this time, but there will be updates posted as soon as there is more information to share. Also, as previously noted, Switch players will receive a Bloodhunt and a compensation for the inconvenience:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/268407/nintendo-switch-update-5-1-0/p1?new=1
-
As its derailed with a few comments, a reminder to keep the discussion on topic, please.
-
Closing this thread as the OP has been argumentative. While camping is a hot button topic (and a reminder is a strategy and not reportable per our game rules), it can be discussed in a civil and respectful manner.
-
I would throw these clips over in Bug reports https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please check and see if it has been reported already and upvote it (can add to the thread as well if it has), otherwise you can open a new report following the guidelines.
-
Cleaning up and closing this thread up as its become once again argumentative and off topic. Its ok to differ on opinions about something, but please do so in a civil manner that respects others, and their points of view.
And as noted in the Pride update, inclusivity and representation are something being strived for and worked towards, as well as ensuring it is done right; as stated here: https://deadbydaylight.com/en/news/pride-update-2021
-
While some delays in some features were mentioned, yes, the charm code will not work without the patch. There should be more news shortly for Switch players, and will update everyone when there is more information. I have some friends that play on Switch too, and they're really wanting to get their hands on the charms as well!
-
Gonna pop in here as it got a little heated yesterday and remind people to keep it civil and respectful. As stated in the EULA, virtual goods cannot be refunded: https://deadbydaylight.com/en/eula . Also noted in the EULA, if you purchased the character through DLC on a platform store (Steam, PSN, XBox, etc), they adhere to their own terms and conditions in regards to refunds.
Because this is a live game, things are subject to change, and the Feedback area exists to bring these things to developer attention. There has been a lot of constructive feedback in regards to the Realm Beyond changes, and its appreciated everyone stopping in to let the team know what they like, and constructively dislike, about them.
-
As killer, I'll often go for those that inject themselves into the active chase (ie if I'm chasing the weakest looper/evader, and another survivor comes between me and them, I will break off and chase the new survivor instead, if they wanna dance I'm happy to dance then lol), but I can agree that things like running towards me and clicking flashlights are the quickest way for me to ignore you and look for your teammates on generators.
Playing as survivor, I have had luck with bright/colorful/silly outfits getting killers to chase me instead (usually compared to the default of recolor skins my SWF is wearing), especially if they casually catch me in the open or on a gen. Although at the end of the day I'm not epic at loops/chases either, but if I can buy my friends more in the game, it's worth it!
-
Closed per the request of the OP.
I understand the OP was upset by some unfun matchmaking they dealt with, but please remember that we take the advocation or endorsement of hacking or cheating very seriously here on the Forums. Please do not endorse hacking/cheating in the game, even as a joke.
-
