This community overreact to a change? The hell you say 😉

If I see a lobby with more than one Meg in it I dodge. No offense to Meg players here but I can count on one hand the number of competent Megs I encounter. They do her rep no good. The whole 'Meg head' thing is not a meme it is actually real.
-
Mikey because I am a Mikey main myself, and I always have respect for them.
Nurse because she has such a big skill cap, and anyone who mains her, let alone is good with her deserves respect in my book.
-
- Michael. Been a Mikey main for three years, and still have a blast playing him. One of the most versatile killers in Dbd when it comes to builds and play styles. Its very satisfying making survivors believe in the boogeyman.
- Clown. A very fun killer. Love throwing those bottles. His laugh is great.
- Plague. Vomiting on survivors. What is there not to like?
- Oni. The bam bam killer himself. Its great raging around the map and going smash on little survivors heads.
- Doc. Its a lot of fun to see the map light up like a Christmas tree with those screams and gens blowing.
-
Refuse to play as Freddy or Spirit because I feel there is little skill and maximum reward with them. I don't feel any satisfaction getting kills with them.
I hate playing against them, too. Spirit is just a guessing game which I don't consider counterplay. Freddy is so oppressive and boring to face. I also hate playing against Ghostface because his reveal mechanic is busted. Free downs for that killer.
-
As survivor I don't mind it. As killer I can tolerate Pale Rose but I don't care for Grim Pantry.
-
Honestly I see every killer getting teabags. Spirits, Nurses, Freddys etc. They all get the bags.
-
Dweet for survivor.
Mikey for killer.

I know he predates Jason, but since adult Jason came around with sequels, slashers were competing with each other, so they souped up Michael in a similar fashion to Jason.
Another reason I can like the new Halloween trilogy for taking away his invincibility.
Jason did not appear in a movie until 1982, and by then Michael had already had two movies. Michael did not appear again until 1988 in Halloween 4 and he didn't display any more strength than he had in his previous two movies. If anything Halloween II Michael had been more impressive there since Laurie shot Michael in the eyes at point blank range and he didn't drop dead.
Jason on the other hand was actually murdered by a 10 year old kid armed with a machete. He was dead and buried until they literally had to resurrect his worm eaten corpse from the grave. He became a literal walking corpse.
That's the difference between them. Michael never needed to be killed and resurrected as an immortal zombie. Michael just always avoided death by not dying no matter what they did to him. Michael was always superior to Jason in that regard.
-
I would say yes. Especially since some killers struggle on certain maps, no matter how good you are with them.
-
I would have to say Deathslinger. The concept of an evil wild west/cowboy killer is pretty unique.
The least creative and most boring is the Legion. They are also the least intimidating killers in terms of appearance and lore. Killed one person between the four of them. Yawn.

True, but regardless, he still physically resembles the Rob Zombie Myers.
Additionally, if I'm not mistaken, Loomis' gun is a .38 caliber that has about half the power of modern .357 magnum's. Mikey took 6 shots to the chest at close range and was pretty much fine.
Exactly. There was also the shows of strength in H1. He wasn't built like a tank but H1 Mikey was putting his fist through doors, and lifting people clear up into the air with one hand.
-
For me personally its Huntress or Nurse dailies.

He still had the supernatural edge in the first film, but the sequels took it too far and made him Jason. The ending is also taken into different iterations, like him being his cartoonishly tanky H2 iteration or H ('18) iteration, which keeps him reminiscent of H1.
I think you're forgetting Mikey predates Jason. If anything Jason was reminiscent of Mikey. But then we know all the 80's slashers were birthed from Halloween.

This is H1 Myers though, so he's not exactly his Jason-esque, tanky version in the old sequels.
H1 Mikey could still take being shot, stabbed, and fall out a second floor window and just shake it off.
-
The Halloween chapter for me.
-
Umbra, Zubat, and One stalky boi.
-
He is the one killer, along with Stridor Spirit, where it never feels rewarding to 4k with for me. I feel like I could go on autopilot with just BBQ and Pop and win.

Personally I always thought Myers was and is the worst killer. And I never really understood how not more people think this.
Zero antiloop
Negative slowdown as he has to stun himself to become a standert killer.
Then he has to stun himself some more just to get the expose status effect. For 60 seconds. And to make matters worse there is a limit to how many times you can get the exposed status effect.
Like he's iconic and i guess that's why people don't want to see this but at a pure mechanical point of view he is miles below other killers
Myers main here. Most killers can be looped into oblivion, Myers is no different from most in that regard. But at least in tier 3 he has a faster vault speed and the biggest lunge in the game.
Getting tier 3 is not difficult. Heck even getting to tier 2 in the beginning is not hard. I don't understand people who say it is. Unless you're facing the most immersed survivors in the world its not a struggle. Yes there is a limit to how many times he can get to tier 3, but if you've reached that limit, and you still have survivors left alive then you are playing him really badly. By the time I've juiced out the survivors most if not all of them are dead.
Its not a case of not wanting to see something, its a case of it not being a reality for some people, myself included. I don't experience these setbacks people like yourself say you experience playing him. That's not me saying he's a top tier killer. I rate him a solid mid tier killer. But he is not even a contender for worst killer, in my opinion. Not even close.

I'm on PS4 and the update came through.

Ok, by popular demand (and see if you can tell where I took over for her):
That was beautiful. I would say around the 3-4 minute mark is where you took over because that's when the head on stuns came to a grinding halt.

It wasn't a SWF I started the game again. My gal, still learning the game, was playing Myers (I was sitting by tutoring) and she ran into a 4-Person SWF that were loaded up with Flashlights and Head On. They didn't try to do Gens. They ran to the Shack and started making lots of noise to attract her and then proceeded to Head On and then Flashlight and alternate stunning her. They were having a good old time. She handed me the controller. Let's just say their fun quickly ended. I have a great video of it. But this kind of poor sportsmanship was the worst. The goal wasn't to play, but to grief.
Would love to see this video. Especially since its with my boy Mikey.
-
Not in my experience against him.
-
Spirit and Freddy are the top two.
-
I actually really love the survivors portraits besides players names. What ever happens I hope they keep that. The rest can go.

Ah yes I remember god they need to remove that map honestly
I agree I hate that map. Well gg's to you. Its nice to have competent team mates in solo queue.

was I wearing the sweater with pink hair? I might’ve been wearing something else but that’s what I normally wear. I think your right
Yes I believe you were. He hooked you near an exit gate after we finished all the gens. I opened the gate, got you off the hook, and myself and the Claudette body blocked for you out the exit gate.
He was your typical Ghostface player. Stealth camping near the hook waiting to mark who ever came in for the save throughout the entire match. He did it to you when you came to rescue me.
-
I don't see it in every match but I do see it daily. So its not rare for me.

Don’t their memories get wiped after every trial?
Off topic but I think I played in a match with you yesterday. Were you playing Jane facing a Ghostface on Shelter Woods? If so I was the Dwight on your team.
-
Bond is a great perk. If some people choose to use it to sandbag their team mates then blame the player not the perk.
-
Wraith, Trapper, Pig, and Clown are whom I consider the weak bunch.
Wraith's power literally does nothing to help him down survivors. He is still visible even with his recent change, you can also still hear him, and he still has to uncloak before he can hit you. Trapper requires far too much set up. Fetch, carry, set traps. All the while hoping that no survivor spotted you setting them, and simply hoping they fall for them. Its hard to come up with unique trap placements nowadays against half way decent survivors. Pig is entirely based on luck/RNG. Survivors can get their trap off on the first box they go to and boom you've just lost your pressure. Clown's recent change has not made any significant difference. The antidote is a gimmick. The best thing they changed was his faster reload, but that is not anything game changing for him.
-
Yes it happened to me once last night. I was just randomly disconnected in the middle of a match. I've seen it happen in matches to other people too. When I am pretty sure they did not intend to disconnect.
For example a Trapper who had two survivors dead with three gens still up. He was in the midst of carrying a survivor to the basement when he suddenly dc'ed. I highly doubt it was intentional.
-
My Mikey got fat shamed by it yesterday. I have to say though the survivors were nice and realized what was up and didn't exploit it. I've seen people playing killer on streams who had survivors totally abuse it.
-
HEY! Dweet was never a coward. He is just naturally nervous about the dangerous situation he is in.
-
Dweet is my main for survivor. Surprise isn't it. I love his nerdy appearance, his backstory of being the oppressed under achiever who rose up in the fog as the one who was the leader material of the group. He also has some really cool cosmetics that all represent the wonderful aspects of his character.
Michael Myers is my main for killer. I love the versatility of his playstyles. There is so many fun builds you can do with him. Scratched mirror being my favorite. He has one of the biggest snowball potentials if you know how to utilize your tier 3 properly. I am also a huge Halloween fan which is an added bonus.

None of the killer changes, including Clown, went far enough imo
Yeah I faced about five Clowns yesterday and none of them even used the yellow antidote bottles.
-
Its a glitch. Been happening to a lot of people.
-
Yeah I played several survivor games and the only time I got anything for it was when I survived.
-
There is a fat shame spot in fun bus on Autohaven for killer. I was playing Mikey and I couldn't walk through the bus on Wretched Shop no matter which side I walked through.
The survivors could walk through it just fine though.
-
I love the new map designs for Crotus and Game. The perk changes are good for both sides. I don't mind the new HUD. Its actually growing on me.
I've not played new Clown yet, but out of the ten survivor games I played today I faced only two Clowns and neither used the antidote bottle. So Clown just felt the same as always to face. I'm not keen on the new survivor animations. Especially the injured one.
-
I was hit through a pallet before this Oni even reached the pallet. I dropped it early because he had spirit fury. But I was still somehow hit. He wasn't even in fury mode either. This happened twice.
-
Ditto. Played five survivor matches and got nothing in the unbroken emblem each time, no matter how long I survived in a match.
-
I was stunned at how they completely rewrote Hag's lore. I always thought Lisa Sherwood was a girl from some old tribal type village from a much older time period where the village elders practiced writing religious symbols on walls. That whole tragic and creepy story of her walking through the woods to get home, getting caught in a storm, and then being captured and eaten by a bunch of cannibals. She is left rotting to death but free herselfs and kills the cannibals then disappears.
Then we get her tome and its a story about some modern High School girl who was fooling around with symbols from her Grandmother's old book. Something happens to her overweight Math teacher and her b*tchy school friend. All very boring compared to the original lore.
-
Spirit. Guessing is just not what I consider a counterplay. Her perks are nothing special either.
-
- Giving the killer an easy three gen situation. So often I see this happen, especially on maps like Azarov's resting place and Suffocation Pit.
- This one is more from my own experience as a killer, but I main Myers and sometimes survivors will drop a pallet and then just stand/teabag on the other side of it and feed me stalk so I get my tier 3 to 99%.
- Kindred is active, but you'll have that one team mate self caring (probably against sloppy butcher) or just sitting on a gen at the back of the map while one or two people are on hook and/or slugged, and the other is being chased.
-
Mikey is my main. He's the one I opt to play when I do play killer.
For dailies I'll play Doc, Wraith, Clown, and Plague.
-
I find the matchmaking gets really bad at night lately.

But does he bring his victims back to life just to continue hurting them? And does he offer himself as a test subject?
He has not got the power to bring them back to life. Offer himself as a test subject to whom?

Efficient? They're already dead lol. Decorating the corpses is purely a pleasure aspect.

Unless Myers actively starts slurping on fingers, that ain't pleasure. :P
Of course it is. You don't have to suck fingers to derive pleasure from killing. Unless you think doing stuff like making a Jack O Lantern out of someone's head was an act of boredom lol. Michael even enjoys toying with his victims at times before killing them. Remember the ghost sheet stunt he pulled in the original?
