A lot of people want to try the new legion/ghostface changes.
1-2 days and will be back to normal
It's funny I've seen a ton of Legions but have yet to face a single Ghostface.
I even put Spine Chill on yesterday because I was expecting to see a lot of him. I saw more of Mikey and Wraith yesterday than I did Ghostface.

Yes, as is with every map rework they become grossly unbalanced in favor of killer.
You call the reworks for maps like Coldwind, Badham and the Game killer sided? In no reality is that true.
-
You could tell that on the PTB and from the description of the changes. I'm not sure why some people were getting so excited about it.
I guess any port in a storm when it comes to killer buffs.

Maybethat's why nobody is playing him
Apparently its the awful chase music.

It fine but I haven't seen a ghost face yet.
Same. I put Spine Chill on because I was expecting quite a few of them.

...Was that me, perhaps? A felix on Haddonfield?
No sir, it was an unfortunate Jake.

I played five survivor games. Four against Legion, and one Mikey.
I can't say I see any difference power wise. None of the Legions I faced scored more than a 1k. Only one managed to get a fifth frenzy hit down and that's because they were camping someone at the end game. We all went in for the save and he frenzy hit everyone then got the fifth hit and downed someone.
Maybe people are still figuring out all the new add ons and stuff. But its doesn't feel like a stronger Legion to me.
-
I never 99% my heal so I won't be complaining.
-
Does anyone know if console has to do this too or is it strictly for Steam players?
-
Personally if I am infected and hear her pick up her corrupt purge I just hide until it runs out.
-
I do get a kick out of all the simps for shirtless Myers to be put into the game.

The main update I want is a Dr Loomis survivor.
Donald Pleasence what a boss.
Halloween, The great escape, You only live twice. Ernst Stavros Blofeld himself.
I would love Loomis as a survivor.

Yep, they will nerf tp and "buff" his base kit in a way that he will remain weak and m1.
I wanted his update for a while but after seeing the treatment other m1 killers got, I doubt he will end up decent.
It is not a good trade off imo. Tombstone piece makes him a threat somewhat. Devs won't compensate for that.
You really are afraid for the fate of tombstone piece aren't you lol. If they give his base kit some good buffs then I'll happily accept a nerf to tombstone piece.
But they probably won't even touch the piece. They left it alone in the last add on pass. They even gave a buff to regular tombstone.

Bubba.

September 2017.

As a long time Mikey main I agree my boy needs some love.
As others have said he doesn't even need a rework. Just some quality of life changes would do wonders for him. There's some terrific suggestions floating around these forums that the devs should consider.
-
You can't play killer and not get toxic messages. Its perfectly normal.
-
Nurse. Doesn't matter how many safe pallets or windows you have to run to after she eats the DS.

Yeah but that means tp nerf which would make me sad.
I know people will hate me for it but I love that add on lol.
I love me a bit of tombstone piece too. They didn't touch it when they gave him an add on pass recently. So who knows it might be left as it is.
-
Mikey.
-
At the end of the day just about everyone in the Dbd community agrees Mikey could use some love. So please consider taking a look at everyone's favorite boogeyman next Bhvr.
-
You should submit that to the speedrun website. That has to be in the top two at least.
-
Scratched mirror Mikey on Lery's. These two survivors could not understand how I always knew where they were so they thought I was hacking somehow. On console no less.
-
Best: Halloween chapter. It gave me my main killer Mikey whom I think is one of the most fun killers to both play and face against. We got cool perks like STBFL and DS (I know DS was not always balanced like it is now but better late than never). I also think having Michael Myers and Laurie Strode in the game helped put Dbd on the map.
Worst: Binding of Kin chapter. I was going to say All Kill but at least we got some good perks from that chapter. The Twins are just designed as a slugging machine.

The lucky thing. That's an honor to have happen.

i Don’t know why as killer you feel you need to 4k and as surv you don’t mind if you lose. Play to have fun
Generally people do. But its hard to have fun when three gens pop before you get your first hook on super unbalanced maps like Cowshed, Mother's Dwelling, Badham etc. Not to mention full meta load outs from all four survivors.
Unless you're a god tier Nurse or Blight you are not competing with that.
-
Ideally he should start at 110% movement speed with his tier 1 at 99%. That way he can tap into tier 2 when ever he likes, or he can stay oblivious and get some sneaky grabs/attacks if he wants.
I love the idea that there should be an activation prompt for tier 3 like with Oni's power.
-
That poor baby Mikey. Distressing on a scratched mirror build.
-
Its got nothing to do with your rank. Its your MMR rating.
-
After the abundance of complaints about it in the feedback section it will be pretty sad if they don't change it.
-
Wraith is very straight forward.
-
I watch the chill, wholesome streamers who do not constantly trash talk other players. They're also very good at the game.
-
Badham, The Game, Mother's Dwelling, Cowshed, Rotten Fields, Ormond.
-
I approve of these ideas.
I think Mikey should start with his tier one at 99. Then he can tap into tier two when he wants to or stay oblivious for some sneaky attack or grab.
-
I don't really see any difference so far personally. Still getting the same level of players on either side.
-
All solid builds. My build is a combo of anti-loop and gen defense. I use Bamboozle, Corrupt, Pop, and Pain Resonance.
-
Most of the pallets are mind gamed easily or unsafe. Kick in the breakable walls on shack and main building and you're fine.
Also you can keep a tight three gen at the Gallows side if you want.
-
They do it to flex their "superiority" because they escaped. They want you to come to the exit to see them teabag and click you before they leave. Don't give them the satisfaction.
It is annoying in the time it takes for them to finally leave you could be loaded up into another lobby.
-
He can be robbed of his power by survivors, when the reveal mechanic actually works. Any killer who's power can be stolen like that is weak.

ohhhh, are there temporary licenses or some drama occured?
I don't think there was any drama. Netflix are doing their own Stranger Things game so we suspect that's why they ended the contract with Dbd.
-
They lost the Stranger Things license so he's no longer available to purchase. Same for Steve and Nancy. People who purchased them before they lost the license get to keep them and still play them.
Its like owning collector's items.

Nothing tops Yun Jin's struggling sounds for me. She sounds like she's trying not to vomit.

Right here. PS4 Mikey main.

Definitely subjective I think twins has the worst set of teachables in the game
For killer really? Worse than Huntress?

The monthly Dbd is dying thread has arrived.
-
As a Mikey main no I love him. Still love him four years later. Cocky survivors are some of my favorites to face. They're usually the ones who stand on the other side of a pallet or window and let you stalk them while they're busy teabagging or clicking. Then their team and eventually them pay for it.
-
100% Mikey. He is very underrated and a lot better than some give him credit for. That's not saying he doesn't need buffs because he does. But he is far from being one of the worst. He's not even bottom three. His low terror radius, insta down ability, and potential for snowballing are great.
He's been my main for four years. The key to popping your tier 3 is when you know you can get the down. The problem a lot of Mikey players have is they pop it prematurely when a survivor can make it to a safe loop. Timing is everything. Even in tier 3 you can get extra advantages in a loop like faster vault speed (paired with Bamboozle is insanely good) and you get the biggest lunge in the game.
As for overrated I would say maybe Plague. If you don't cleanse you reduce her to an M1 killer you can hear coming a mile away. You hear her pick up her corrupt purge then you hide and wait it out.
-
I main Dweet because he is an adorable nerd. His nervous disposition and geeky look are great. How can you not empathize with Dwight in some way. He's probably got the most realistic demeanor. Who wouldn't be nervous being thrust into the fog against these killers. We'd all be terrified. I like his back story how he is the under achiever who rose to leadership when he entered the fog.
For killer I main Mikey. I am a huge Halloween fan so there was instant attraction to playing him. He's an icon of the Horror genre. The game captures his style of sneaky, stalking, killing perfectly. I quickly came to enjoy how versatile he is with builds and play styles. There's spooky Mikey, tombstone Mikey, scream for Mikey, vault master Mikey, double stalk Mikey, super low terror radius Mikey etc. Plus he is one of the most underrated killers in the game. Too many under estimate the boogeyman, including survivors, and they usually pay for it especially when I'm playing him.
-
Corrupt, Bamboozle, PWYF, and Pop because once they realize you have tombstone they dive into lockers so might as well get some gen regression value from it.

But not as strong as before. The Myers house no longer has the front windows. And the windows in the back are completely gone. All the pallets are unsafe. House of pain yes while buffed might not even be open cause of RNG. The Tommy house only has 1 window that can be outplayed. No more fences, and No more safe pallets. The houses might suck but there’s no pallets to deal with
This. Haddonfield is so much more balanced now. Its still got some strong loops but its tame compared to what it was before.
