I like it cause it helps with low tier killers and also Blendette who get hit and then disappear into the shadows, making it easier to find them.

Go to Settings -> Sharing and Broadcasts -> Length of Video Clip. Set it to at least 15 minutes. Then when a match that you want to save is over, press the share button and select the video clip option.
I actually have that option. But when I go to share button and look none of the match was saved at all. Sometimes after I click the share and return THEN it starts recording the match. But too little too late there.

It’s a license chapter so they have to go all out to impress. The map will probably come when the characters do. It better be Raccoon City or the Spencer Mansion. Maybe even the Baker house. We need a city map though so that’s my top pick.
-
I think honestly a lot of issues with the ranged killers can be solved with an aim reticule. Most PC players have something similar to that to help them aim. I think with how the controls are on console it needs to be added for Huntress, Deathslinger, Trickster, etc.

Naw, Trapper's iridescent add ons are on the weaker end of iridescent. Survivors have tool boxes and brand new parts and flashlights that basically function as lighthouses. Like yes they can be frustrating for sure. But to be fair the Trapper can only carry one trap at a time, unless they have an add-on. Like his set up is super restrictive.
He managed to have a lot of traps out. Not just one. Plus the map was super small. We just had all around bad luck.
-
I’m pretty much a Wraith main. He’s the only one for me fast enough to put map pressure on everybody with how fast gens go. Even then it’s a struggle. I think the speed boost was very necessary and a big weakness is his uncloaking speed. Survivors can easily gain some distance on the Wraith by the time he is completely uncloaked. If you’re not paying attention to your surroundings and still manage to get hit by him after he uncloaks that’s on you. Plus even while cloaked the dude is loud asf with his growls and can be spotted easily with his little shimmer while cloaked.

No. You decide your own win definitions. No one can tell you what is or isn't a win. After 4 years on this game, you have a tendency to change perspectives a bit.
My win definition as killer is 3k. 2k is a tie and 1k is a loss. 4k is just a bonus. I’ve seen a lot of killers say if you don’t kill all of them then it’s a loss. I can’t imagine having that mindset. Cause realistically then, unless you’re a god Nurse or Spirit, you’re gonna feel like a loser a lot.
-
I had one match with an Oni is sheltered woods I believe. That really map circled map. He started slugging straight from the get-go. No hooking, just trying to down everyone as soon as possible. He always managed to get everyone but one, then that one managed to get everyone else up. Rinse and repeat. It was a grueling and miserable match. Luckily 3 of us made it out. None of us DC’d but it was highly considered I bet. If Killers come right out the gate with those kind of tactics don’t be surprised if survivors start acting sweaty and toxic.
-
I had one trapper that had that iridescent add on where you get injured disabling the traps. So he just trapped places where there was no other way to go but through the trap. Safe to say everyone got injured and died quickly. I wouldn’t DC but hook suicide is the next best thing. Usually if you can tell a killer is good and on top of that they use an iridescent add on the match is pretty much over lol

I think there's 16 god pallets and another 6-8 brokenly strong pallets. I haven't counted personally though, this is just stuff I've heard. I do know that the difference between a god pallet and a safe pallet on The Game is miniscule.
It makes it worse when the survivors get this map and act so cocky. Cause they know that map is broken.

And it not like you force the 3 gen right? They just mindlessly pop gens to have hatch appear because there arent any consequences. They have a key so no need to worry
I had them three gen. All three gens were a stepping stone away from one another. Then the hatch “magically” spawns in the middle of said three gen. And they all skip a beat and leave. I legit feel the game did me dirty there.
-
@RenTheCat said:
Almost all my matches this entire month had the hatch as the biggest threat. And if I had a penny for every match in which i'm left defending 3 gens only for the 3 remaining survivors to escape with a key I would be rich. It's extremely annoying and unfair but survivors have fragile egos and need the undeserved win.
At least that way they don't get to cry about NOED or Devour Hope or whatever perk they consider OP while their entire team has unbreakable, borrowed time, dead hard and decisive strike.
Just had that happen to me last match. It was going to be an easy 4k. Became a 1k in an instant.
-
@RenTheCat said:
All this people coping lmao.
If the killer doesn't kill everyone, he lost. Don't pat yourself in the head over a 3k. A killer's job is to kill and you failed, if you see in a movie a killer failed to kill the protagonist do you consider he won because he killed 3 other guys?
As for survivor, just surviving is a win since BHVR refuses to give survivors a penalty for leaving people behind. It's hilarious because other teamwork oriented games like RE:Resistance punish you if survivors die or are not at the gates by the end of the level.
The hatch is bullshit and a way for survivors to just get an easy win without having to compelte the objecctive. And what makes it worse is that killers don't have an equivalent to instakill all 4 survivors immediatly without having to work for it.
As people have stated, this is no longer a horror game, just a competitive game with a horror finish. As much as I would like it to be like playing a horror movie it’s not. You don’t see the people in horror movies get thrown so many chances to get away from the Killer. The Killer is suppose to be the power role, it’s not. Etc etc. This is just a very extreme version of hide and seek now. And when I kill more than 2 of the team I think that’s a win. Especially since my “team” is just me, myself, and I.

@Nathan13 said:
this happened to me at backwater swamp and I felt robbed lol I know how you feel.
One getting away with hatch I can stomach. All three using a key and getting away makes me sick. That honestly shouldn’t be allowed or at the very least there’s a wait period for each survivor to use the open hatch. But nope, they just jump down one after the other like a goddamn cartoon character.
-
I wouldn’t say get rid of it but I would just love for the game to have a way to tell us if it’s SWF. Or give us a little extra reward for facing off against SWF. That could help stop lobby dodging killers. Well they are SWF but either way I get more BP for sucking it up and playing.
-
I’ve seen it as both killer and survivor. First chest I came to in a match gave me a key. Last match as killer they found a key in a chest and all three remaining just left. I really despise keys.
-
I think the same thing about red rank 4 man SWFs.
-
Maybe an add on where the minute a survivor is using those cages to get rid of the bear trap highlights that bear trap for the Pig?

Are you sure? I usually go at least a hundred in game hours between escapes and I don't dodge keys. If you are a good killer you should be able to slug everyone or otherwise put enough pressure on that hatch doesn't even spawn. I like to one hook the last person as the second to last bleeds out.
They did not have a key before the match. They found it in the match. I’m not the best or even a great killer but I corralled them into a three gen and two were on death hook. Not to mention it was the Shrine map aka a huge ass map. I think I did decent with this strat. Instead I got punished for it by the hatch spawning right at their feet and the game giving them a key in a chest.

Then get better and consistently kill them all without letting them key out.
That’s literally not how that works. Unless you bring Franklins, even then it’s easy to counter. Let’s take like a second to use and the hatch spawned right in the middle of the three gen they did. Instead of getting punished for their mistakes they instead got rewarded and escaped.
-
@eleventbh said:
Lmao I've had that exact same thing happen to me. Just because the emblems count it as a loss doesn't mean you have to. I personally count it as a win if no one escapes through a gate. Sorry you missed out on bloodpoints and stuff though.
The fact that grinds my gears is Killers are punished for ending the match early, aka slugging and etc, by less BP and the like, but it’s fine for survivors to end the match early when hatch spawns. It makes my blood boil cause you know those survivors think they “outplayed” me by using a key.
-
@TTV_WAWAbyWibWib said:
When I play I consider a win all 4 survivors are sacrificed, die or Disconnected. if anyone escapes through any means then It is a loss.
I can’t think that way and probably most killers shouldnt. A lot of killers are casual. If everyone thought that way then people would just leave the killer side cause of constant losing.
-
@EvanSnowWolf said:
What are we considering a "loss" here? I don't think even BHVR knows exactly what winning or losing is in official terms.
If the Entity is Displeased I count that as a loss. I think 1k is a loss, 2k a draw, and anything more is a win. The fact these survivors could all one after another use the hatch was loads of BS.
-
If gens are popping quick time to tunnel and facecamp one survivor. More than likely all their buddies will stop working on gens to come get them. Then you can start snowballing
-
I understand all to well. Where I’m at this game is basically unplayable as killer at night. All I get is red ranks and it’s just a miserable experience
-
Usually it’s hard to tell they are SWF. Especially if they are on PC and I’m on PS4. Fair warning though, survivors still using Christmas outfits like elf Dwight and such are guaranteed to be toxic so I always avoid those outright.
-
Honestly I would prefer a crafting system. All my unused add ons crafted into ones I actually use instead of just sitting there. As for a new item maybe a hammer to open breakable walls for survivors
-
Just SWF with some of your buddies. You will realize then how easy it is for survivors to stomp killers. Just Having a 2 man SWF greatly increases the chances of success.
-
Still waiting for Springtrap from FNaF
-
I can’t wait for new Killers first experience with a sweaty 4 man SWF. It will be beautiful. Aka traumatic
-
I constantly have 4 man SWF survivors trash talk me no matter if they win or lose.
-
Couldn’t this be abused with SWF as well? Say have one newbie always in your team to give the rest a shoutout. Granted I guess you can only do that for a few matches but it’s kinda give the middle finger to the killer.
-

When this is the argument, it shows how little survivor experience people have.
You can't break every totem on the map unless everyone is really good at running the killer, it's probably not happening. You remember the locations of totems as you come across them during the match, you will on ANY map, see at least 2 - 3 of them at LEAST during the match.
At the end of the game, if someone is hit with noed, or you think it is active after seeing the killer speed up, then you just check them all and break the lit one. It takes 14 seconds to delete his entire perk from the game.
Keep in mind that killer played the WHOLE game with only 3 perks, and you can undo it that easily.
People rarely use noed in red ranks because honestly it's just an "okay" perk it's not even that great.
If you take noed against good survivors, half the time they just don't get hit or are all injured at the end of the game anyways so they literally just ignore it entirely. Hell, it's a bit of a crutch since it makes your end game easier but doesn't help you learn the game in any way.
I run it cause a lot of red ranks don’t expect it and it catches them off guard. Red ranks won’t do totems unless forced to. They are too busy just doing gens and getting out.

It's actually funny how people are against you in this post.
I can admit NOED is unfair and so is a lot of survivor meta perks. But no one will agree with me on the meta perks so guess I’ll just keep using NOED

I'll sacrifice any future NOED changes for everyone shutting the fresh flamin' hot ℱ 𝒰 𝒞 𝒦 up about it for the next foreseeable forever.
Hex perks and NOED will die off anyway when Small Game perk change comes out. And if they ever make it to where it always tells survivors how many totems are left as a base thing then it will kill hex totems completely

Wow buddy. What a good comeback. You’ve convinced me.

I honestly only complain when the killer is playing really bad and gets a 2k+ because of NOED If the killer is a low rank its okay tbh
BTW I run aftercare repressed alliance inner strength and calm spirit every match
If the killer DESTROYED us all and he had NOED i would just say GG WP and leave
Usually if a killer is playing badly me as a survivor will go out of my way to go do totems cause I have a suspicion they are using it. I’m not saying I’m amazing but I’m applying good pressure in matches and downing people left and right. Still at the end of it all I usually on it get 2k. Even then sometimes NOED doesn’t even help.
-
@eleventbh said:
"Do bones" "Apply pressure LOL" sound the same to me, both are ridiculous, though I can say all the former needs is a totem counter, NOT in the form of a perk.
What’s easier? Constantly running around gen patrolling? Or just doing bones? When small game perk update comes out most hex and NOED perks will never be used again anyway. Still barely have any counters to how fast gens go though.

You're saying that every survivor should memorize all totem spawns in every single map in the game...
I already knew you didn't play both sides, but holy ######### dude...
Lol yes. I don’t both play both sides. Which is why I’m a red rank survivor and rank 11 Killer. I haven’t been playing this game long and for the most part a lot of the totems spawn in the same areas.
-
@MadLordJack said:
Thing is, NOED isn't that good. It's a free kill perk and nothing else, and the only ones that can disable it with the "CoUnTeRpLaY" that everyone keeps pretending exists are co-ordinated swf teams. Because even a dedicated totem hunting solo will fail miserably because who cares that you got all 5 dulls if the last gen never gets done?
The problem with NOED is that it's unfair, not OP. Get outperked, scrub. It needs to get changed along with every second chance perk.
I’ll stop running NOED when everyone stops running Dead Hard, Unbreakable, Adrenline, etc. Those are just as unfair as NOED

"Do Bones" doesn't work on maps like Midwich, Lerys, Hawkins, or Dead Dawg.
Plus, there's no way for me to know if all the totems are broken unless I specifically do all of them.
When the devs add a totem counter to the base HUD and NOT just perks like Thrill and the new Small Game, only then will you have a bit of truth to your "do bones" argument.
Most totems spawn in the same areas. If you can’t find them that’s on you.

Yours maybe isn't, but there are 3 more survivor in there. If I knew they had "nice" perks, then I would run nice perks as well. But if they run meta perks and I run ######### perks I will get stomped. Why take the chance of getting stomped? Survivors won't be nice to me most of the time.
Most survivors have one or use all of these perks most of the time. So many second chance perks but heaven forbid a Killer uses a second chance perk that is usually easily stopped.
