My buddy had a Dwight who immediately finished every gen and t-bagged at the Exit Gate for close to 2 hours.
That was fun.
Of course it was a Dwight.

I mean, big maps aren't a problem for killers with great mobility like Freddy, but they are absolutely awful for all the other killers.
They are nothing more than a walking simulator and that's just super boring
All gens spaced out and everything, dozens of pallets and loops. What a cluster**ck

It may be an unpopular opinion, but I actually like bigger maps. I think they look nice and are healthy for the game.
However, in order to balance it, I believe its loops should be weaker, so the amount of additional time it takes for the killer to find you is compensated by the shorter amount of time it will take for you to go down.
Yeah too bad Mother’s Dwelling has great loops, all gens are spaced out, etc. So it’s just a slog of a match

PeepoLaughs in blight and freddy
On a side note. I LOVE ruin on wraith. And iri gen add on. I just hook, cloak and know exactly which gen I need to be at
I actually have been playing Wraith without any add ons and have been doing decent. Plus NOED helps cause higher ranks never do dull totems lol. I’m low on BP so I don’t have any to spare to get more Wraith add ons

I get trash talked for “camping” aka being in the same map as them. I started not to care at all.

Speak for your bloody self.
My condition causes me to die on the hook a lot of the time because my hands seize up on me sometimes, I've been using an external program to macro it but now I no longer have to use that and worry about EAC.
This is a VERY appreciated change.
I made an edit on the post discussing everyone just talking about stopping hook suicides.

You could have kept her busy while your team won the game, bro, it's a couple minutes. It's really hard to camp when gens start popping, and if they killer does, your team wins. You can't hang out 2 minutes to help your team win?
As a Bubba main, I've had survivors suicide or DC because they THOUGHT I was going to camp. Sometimes I pretend I'm going to just to see if they'll immediately quit. I can get the advantage of a losing strategy without any losing, that's what you're giving camping killers.
I get that being camped isn't fun, camping isn't either, punish it instead of rewarding it. Worst case scenario, you take one for the team and get 8k bp instead of zero. It's just a couple minutes.
I got off hook twice. They managed to get me with her camping me. She tunneled me and put me right back on the hook. Also whats in it for me? I don’t get any rewards or anything for my team completing and playing the match while I press x. So let everyone else have fun and gain BP and such while I do nothing, get no enjoyment from the experience, and gain no rewards. On top of that if I do hook suicide I get punished for it by this poster’s standards
-
So you want to punish someone by not playing a match by making them unable to play at all. That will probably just make them not want to play the game and play something else, losing a player. I don’t want to be punished for hook suiciding if I’m tunneled and camped right at the beginning of a match by a spirit shaking her head at me. Which happened recently. I was unable to play or even touch a gen. But sure, punish me for wanting to leave.
-
I made this post as a counter to a lot of forum posts I’ve seen talking about how this will counter hook suicides.

The time is way too generous on both counts.
I think the no key option should be reduced by half, and the key one triggers a loud noise notification and allows the killer 15 seconds to get there.
I mostly meant the hatch is closed when the hatch first spawns in. The 60 seconds gives the killer enough time to get over there and prevent like say SWF from all getting to the hatch and leaving. I think the no key one should be a little more generous since it’s the last survivor and all
-
I just want big tiddy vampire mommy.
-
is this r/unpopularopinion?
-
Honestly with how many nerfs killers got, while I think some were deserved, aren’t going to draw people to play killer. “Oh did you hear the nerfed all these killers! Wanna play them!?” No. What’s worse is Lucky Break, which is almost gamebreaking in my mind. Survivors get a speed boost when hit, and with the perk they can easily lose the killer. Not only that it allows the perk to be active for 90 seconds. That’s a heck of a lot of time in the game. You can easily complete gens or get healed before the Killer finds you again, if they even can. I’m betting this will be used in SWF builds and make SWF even more unbearable.

What’s the BT buff? Let me guess, it makes up for the DS nerf and more.
-
Problematic!? Time to cancel!
-
Thank the entity the iri head was nerfed. I’ve encountered the iri head/belt combo for too long and just have bad Huntresses a free win. Had one match recently with this pairing where she just tried to slug everyone but was so bad we always managed to pick ourselves back up. She only managed to kill one person using that OP add on combo.

One time I ran a spirit for 3 gens and when she finally hooked me she camped me and kept hitting me on the hook. She tunneled me through the bt hit and I unfortunately didn't had ds on.
At least you got to do something. I didn’t even do anything in that match but make friends with the hook.

Well in my head initially it came off as her intent is to be toxic and slug with insta down to 4k. I don't think the two survivor perks are toxic because one needs you to finish all the gens and in my case it usually is wasted anyway but DS is near doodoo to me. Though I'm using it anyway since more killers started tunneling after the nerf. At least the ones I play. But as the others said it was prob a new spirit that used the best perks they had.
I’ll explain to you what a truly toxic Spirit is. Last night I had a match against one. I was the first one to be found. She downed me and instantly started face camping me, shaking her head at me and everything. No gens or anything had been done because the match just started. Anytime I managed to get saved she would just go right to me and tunnel me back on the hook, then proceed to facecamp me again. I didn’t even get to touch a gen or do anything. It was just hook struggle the game. I don’t blame her for her perks or anything. I blame her for how she played, which is like a dickweasel.

The fact you still think her perks and intent is toxic but you are making excuses for your perks is the problem here.
-
So having these perks and Mori is now toxic? But I’m guessing you guys using Adrenline, DS, and all the meta perks against her isn’t toxic? Cause “it’s part of the game”? Not to mention a freaking key and flashlight. Holy crap what an entitled survivor. The double standards here is amazing. Killers are held to such high standards that all of them should be added a fedora to tip their hats to survivors. While survivors can act any way cause survivors.
-
People are so desperate to turn solo q into basically SWF lite. Be careful what you wish for. Solo Q is the one thing that is keeping Killers in the game, cause they have a chance due to the uncertainty that solo brings. They aren’t as coordinated and therefore can make mistakes and such. SWF has no such problems and therefore, the Killer struggles exponentially. I like Solo cause it feels like an actual horror game instead of an esports match like SWF matches are. In horror movies people make mistakes, get surprised by the killer, and don’t have a full grasp of what their teammates are doing and whatnot. SWF totally breaks that horror immersion. If Solo is buffed to the standards of SWF like everyone is asking then prepare for even longer survivor ques. Killers aren’t going to put up with that for long,
-
@gilgamer said:
the game isn't really horror for anybody that's put more then 10 hours into the game anyways so this seems like a silly argument
By that logic anyone who plays any game labeled horror long enough will no longer be horror or watch horror movies long enough shouldn’t be labeled horror anymore. So no it’s not silly.

Honestly I never feel more scared than playing solo surviour lol its the only way I find playing surviour fun as it's normally to easy and less interesting with friends.
I read a lot of complaints about solo surviour and honestly understand the frustration but I enjoy it so much more than swf like you said I feel it brings back that horror element not knowing always guessing.
🐷💖
And everyone is asking for it to be like SWF. So there goes the horror element
-
Where’s the gen rushing option where by the time you down one person three gens pop?
-
I know people who switch at the last second to a survivor with a key, etc etc. it’s very dirty. Especially when Killers are locked in from the start.
-
Just use NOED. High ranks don’t cleanse full totems. Only lit ones cause they have tunnel vision of just doing gens and nothing else. Then when they get hit with NOED prepare for the salt lol
-
As a compromise I say they should raise to 2 million at least. Especially since it’s been 5 years of this game.
-
All kinds of no wham thank you ma’am.

Being in a SWF doesn't mean they have a military style operation going on with comms. It's mostly just people chilling in a voice call. You're being outplayed and it's not because of SWF. Improve your gameplay. I have someone escape like once a month through the gates.
That’s all forms of no.

“We made a good game.”
-
Only three honestly
-
I hate to say it but if I find a teammate running this I avoid them and not help them out. They are usually the first the go down and they always drag down the team. I don’t help them unless absolutely necessary
-
Ah yes Killer is so easy. I just casually walk through the map and insta-down and hooked everyone before they even complete a gen. Also SWF doesn’t exist. It’s a myth.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
SWF escapes rates are only like 4% higher than non SWF matches statistically.
Don't confuse those super sweat comp groups and coordinated build SWFs with the majority of them. Most are just people playing together and just saying "I am going for save" or such and that is about the only coordination really lol.
The actual unfair SWF matches are rarer than people would have you believe.
4% is still an extremely high number. Just have a two man SWF team greatly increases the teams odds of survival.

Most streamers win 99% of matches because survivors are bad at the game. It doesn’t matter who the streamer uses.
Most of the streamers I watch go against randoms. When they do go against good SWF teams even they struggle, and hard. Even people like True and Otz admit it’s not fun and just miserable to go against these kind of squads.

Name another killer that has a loop ending power, a teleport on a 14s cooldown and mild stealth that isn't Freddy. There's no way Demo is bad, and I have used him against good survivors and I usually win and do fine. Bronx wins almost every Demo game he plays, there's not much survivors can do when demo has all of his portals set up in good areas, his map pressure is too good for them to keep up. If you're trying to play him and loop like a standard M1 killer you're already using him wrong, same with if your portals are getting constantly cleansed.
Demo is slow. Incredibly so. If you play as Demo and go up against a good SWF, most of the time the poor guy is going to lose, and horribly. He doesn’t have the power to properly counteract hun

Because buffing solo q has been making the rounds now more than ever. Youtubers are even talking about it again and most posts are about buffing solo q. I’m just betting it will happen soon.

Curious, what killer do you play?
The only one I’m decent at is Wraith. I’ve tried Deathslinger and Demo and while I like them they aren’t very viable for me in high ranks. Sometimes Plague too.
-
I admit I may spend too much time on chases but it’s a legit waste of time to injure someone, then just leave and try to find someone else, then they immediately get healed. So my time was doubly wasted.

Some people get their fun making others miserable. This game is full of that. Don't let them ruin it for you tho, be better than them.
I would love to be better than them. In game. Lol
-
There’s a reason why anytime I encounter a Legion they never use their ability. They just go straight for the M1. The ability is pointless except for quick travel across the map lol

Serious question, did you ever open a Thread where you were not complaining? I read this all the time. And you never, ever ask for advice or anything, you just want to complain.
Like, you struggle with the game. This is quite obvious when you have to complain that much. Why not provide gameplay footage so that people can actually HELP? Or do you really just want to hear the hivemind and echo chamber aka the Forum Killers?
Oh I have threads where I’m not complaining. Those get no responses. People only want to discuss the negative thus that’s what is commented on. What is there to ask advice for? Advice on my last match where it was a 4 man SWF all red ranks and one was a rank 1 streamer? Advice on how if I don’t down a survivor in less than a couple of seconds of the chase I need to give up cause the other three are all working on separate gens? What possible advice besides maybe perk suggestions, could you offer against a team of SWF with thousands of hours into the game? I talked to them after the match. They were obviously very good friends and worked insanely well on comms.

It will happen. The problem is that the other 25% will beat you and show you that you can only win bc most of the time survivor are bad.
But it can depend on when you play. Some get easier survivor in the evening, some in the morning.
yeah but win they finally buff solo q, and it’s definitely coming, then my win rate will be even worse. Killers will have even a harder time
-
Most certainly. I’m rank 11 and unless I want to have constant losses when trying new killers I’m stuck with my same killers. Cause all I get is red ranks so no go for trying new killers. I tried the Spirit finally, didn’t understand her power at all and got no feel for her, and got stomped easily. Makes me not want to pick up her again.
