Usually these flashlight pro survivors can’t get a flashlight save to save their life. They usually just go down trying to do it.

Yes. But killers hate them only because they are annoying.
Then you learn how to avoid or bait flashlight and bully squad is not a threat anymore. They just die because they can't do all gens in time.
yes but these players hurt the rest of the team by always acting like this.

I’ve encountered dickweasel killers recently that will carry me to hatch, drop me off, and let me crawl to it, only to slam it in my face and then hook me. It’s kinda stupid to act like that. Especially when I don’t do anything toxic to you. The most ive done is stun you with a pallet to get away. Heaven forbid I did that.

Blight should only be allowed on indoor maps like Lery’s, The Game, Etc

Yes, for the survivors.
It also requires a vote.
That doesn't solve the above mentioned problem at all, and is a completely different scenario.
I’m pretty sure the killer can surrender too. Plus I mentioned survivors surrendering as well

You can DC though, and it already gives survivors bonus blood points each. It also gives you an appropriate punishment, that will scale if you abuse it.
So I get what you are saying I just don't think it's really necessary; and if you gave people something that has no consequence they would just abuse it, and your games would become either you get curb stomped or a killer just forfeits every game almost making for insanely stale gameplay; that would drive a lot of people away from the game.
The games would be like:
killer forfeit, Killer 4K, Killer 4k, killer forfeit, Killer 3k and survivor gets hatch, Killer 4k, killer forfeit, killer forfeit.....
There would no longer be any point in playing the game.
Identity V, a mobile DBD game that I use to play a lot, has a similar mechanic and that game is still going strong. So I don’t think it would be too bad.

generally I agree but ill be honest if I get like hawkins or lerys while playing blight im dcing anyways or if i've already dc'd that day im just gonna go sit in a corner next to the exit gates and wait to open them myself
I can’t imagine playing Blight and getting those maps. That’s horrendous.

Worse, I was trickster.
So if I approached anyone they just zoomed to the other side of the map. I couldn't get near anyone and I just lost interest in the game.
Like, I don't mind losing, but I still want to be able to play- if I can't play then why stay in the game?
Which is why I suggest at around 2 gens left that’s when the killer can surrender. Cause if you haven’t even downed or hooked anyone yet at 2 gens then it’s going to be tough to get anyone. I think giving the other side extra BP as compensation for the other surrendering is a fair deal and should stop a lot of the complaining about people surrendering

There really should be one after a certain amount of time.
I just had a SWF with object of obesession and 2 keys. I don't generally disconnect but I just left that game there was no point in playing it they just told them where I was constantly and at 110 ms there is nothing you can do.
Thing is, I still get why there isn't. Honestly you "give up" so rarely that disconnecting is honestly basically just that, and it has a proper penalty and one that stacks if you do it too much, so I think it's a fair way of doing it.
Since your profile pic is Trapper were you playing as him during this match? If so that’s doubly bad cause they can watch you place traps as well. Making you entirely useless.
-
The devs have stated they work when they want to. So don’t ever expect them to work round the clock to fix bugs. They know there is no competition for this game so there is no real reason to work to improve it constantly. They will get to it when they feel like it.

Honey, I've explained to you several times that if you stay on the map, you camp. You just don't listen!
And you should have learned that you can only hit each survivor once - otherwise you tunnel! Tze! XDDD
Lol true. But it’s still always funny to come across these people. Haven’t seen you in awhile. Missed ya lol. Still need that date match too
-
The devs have stated they plan on giving him a map that’s basically the lobby screen. I have no idea why they didn’t just wait till they made the map as well to release the All-Kill Chapter. It would have made the whole chapter a little more bearable if we at least got a map out of it.
-
I want a nothing but thong wearing PH. We need some loving on the guys.
-
It’s bad because by the time it activates someone is probably already injured anyway. You can’t save the main event for when you come across a fully healed survivor or more than one. It’s essentially a waste cause you can just down the person regularly or with knives the same amount of time as main event
-
@glitchboi said:
I thought this was just generic complaint thread #1118635 about how survivors bad but nevermind, this one I can actually sympathize with. Apologies.
I ######### hate when survivors unhook in front of me and then immerse away straight away. If you're going to do that, you're taking the blame for not protecting your teammate, I'm not taking the blame. I'm not going to waste 2 minutes just to look for you while 3 gens pop, I'm gonna slug the unhooked survivor because there's nothing else I can do.
Especially if the survivor team keeps pulling that stunt of not waiting till the Killer is gone to unhook. What that is telling the Killer is to not leave the hooked survivor alone or start tunneling cause your team refuses to let the person stay on hook long enough for the Killer to leave and chase someone else.
-
@CLAUDETTEINABUSH said:
Honestly, I'd do the same. Cockiness always gets survivors killed, and sometimes killers must play dirty to win.
Noed is also counterable, and a perk that exists in this game, so you have the right to use it. Technically, voice comms destroy the rules of the game since dbd is based around not giving information to your teammates, or giving restricted info (for example, the dbd emotes are point and come here, that's the only way to give info without perks)
Lastly, if they messaged you then it does show how stupid they really are.
I’m guessing it’s the same as if Killers get salty about not getting a 4K they rage. If not everyone escapes survivors rage. Honestly if I get two killed I’m happy. I’m not greedy when it comes to always expecting 4k.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Why punish the guy who got unhooked? Do you expect them to run away when someone tries to heal them or what
If you can help it, you need to run away and hopefully the other teammate is smart enough to follow. Go to a different area to heal, especially if the killer hasn’t been gone long enough where he won’t just simply come back after the unhook. It’s not a smart move to immediately heal up unless the killer is far away.

What actually classes as a safe hook rescue? Does the killer have to be out the way or not looking in the direction? But could still be in the areaish
I think if you or the unhooked person get hit by the killer after awhile of unhooking it’s an unsafe unhook.

I tunnel people all the time. And by that I mean I go back to the hook be ause I have no reason not to and an injured and recently unhooked person runs into me.
I don't care how many second chances someone has, Gonna take the chase over looking for a stealthing survivor that in all likelihood I won't even find.
They don’t even try to bodyblock the unhooked survivor. Just unhook and leave.

If someone unhooks or tries to heal the person under the hook, I punish them by downing the person. They don’t get any points for the safe unhook and they just sandbagged their teammate.
that’s 10000% on them and their teamwork.
Usually though the person who unhooks immediately vanished and leaves the person to get tunneled. Am I going to search everywhere else to find the vanished fully healed teammate? Or go for the injured survivor? Btw, the person unhooking was a fully immersed Claudette.

Had a Meg that did this to me yesterday when I was trying to practice Spirit. If you don’t fall for the bait and go after the weaker links (Survivors who can’t loop as good as the culprit) you will do well. They ended up 3 gen’ing and dying.
Edit: typo
Exactly. And that Nea was a rank 3. I was a rank 11. Everyone else was purple and such. Just made more sense to not waste my time on her till NOED kicked in and got her. She got saved of course and then got mad she was downed by NOED.

They're just making excuses for their dumb plays. I usually find the TTV's are the worst for making the dumbest plays and then being salty because you capitalised off of it like you should.
She was the typical purple haired Nea player too. Just begging to be chased and be toxic. What’s funny is. That Nea got away. She wasn’t even the one I killed or tunneled and yet she still sent me a hate message. I knew what she was trying to pull and didn’t fall for it. She wanted to loop me the whole time while everyone else gen rushed.

I find it simpler to be direct. I will Herd, Camp, Tunnel, Slug, and Mori whenever a particular match calls for it. If the Survivors are setting themselves up for a 3-Gen, or I can nudge them into one, I let it (or make it) happen. I consider these things tactics, nothing more and nothing less. More to the point, they are niche tactics that will hurt the Killer if done wrong, but can pay dividends if done right. I make no pretentions about how I play; I never have.
The sick, sad world truth is that it doesn't matter what a Killer does. Bad sports are going to be salty and serve up bile. I've been accused of doing all sorts of things, and more often than not I wasn't even doing them. The worst part about it all is that Survivors are responsible for about 90% of Tunneling themselves. They don't make safe rescues, they farm, they don't bring Borrowed Time, they unhook with the person they are saving between themselves and the Killer, and they vanish like Ninja the second they unhook. If they aren't there to take a protection hit or a hook for the person they rescue, I wonder why they bothered in the first place.
It isn't the Killer's gig to do their job for them. You are not beholden to look away and ignore the prey in front of you. That nonsense is straight out of the Survivor's Handbook for Killers. You are also not responsible for any other Player's fun. They bring that themselves, or not. They either enjoy they game or they don't. You don't have time to worry about that. You have enough to do in the match. Just play the game; play it hard. Kill them all and let the Entity sort them out.
I agree to a certain extent. I’m not going to go right out of the gate slugging and tunneling and camping. Its just a dick move to me and I know it’s not fun when I get done that as a survivor. Now if 3 gens pop before I even get a hit in, survivors are being toxic, or unhooking right in my face, etc, then the niceness and good sportsmanship is gone. I’m playing nasty now.

Id ask why you’re still awake but you could of already slept.
does this really constitute as tunnelling though? I had someone who was unhooked twice run right in to me both time what am I supposed to do just ignore them 👀
I’m always awake. I’m a nite owl. Technically it is tunneling but if people are constantly unhooking when the killer is in the area then honestly I think it’s fair game. If you can’t wait then I can’t go look for someone else.

I had lag in one game today, but three of us were on Playstation and I suspect one person may have been lag switching. (The survivors thought so too. I was the killer). We kept rubberbanding, even though none of us had TERRIBLE ping. I mean I've played with people with 1000 ping before. This was worse. My ping ftr is 33ish.
It happens sometimes but I can never tel if it’s the game or survivors. Except one time anytime I chased this one Ace, no one else in the match, my screen would lag like crazy and freeze. Anyone else I chased in the match it didn’t do that. That Ace was doing something to me.
