Usually if you are paired with a SWF you are the odd man out. No one cares for the rando so you’re killer fodder in their eyes.

Don't be so sure. DS is finally getting nerfed. After nearly half a decade of being unfair and broken. Why? BHVR has realized that the reason survivor queues are so damn long is because killers aren't playing. Nobody wants to play killer because sometimes, with all the second chances survivors have, if they don't lose, they have to win the same trial multiple times until the survivors second chance have depleted.
This is why the queue times are so long for survivor, the devs know this, and that's why now, they are starting to appease killers. They NEED more killers because there is no fix to long queue times.
I can only hope. I use to play Killer a lot when I first played this game. Only been playing since Jan. But after having a few fun matches and such and getting to rank 13 the fun quickly stopped. Kept getting SWF red ranks with all the meta perks. Stopped playing killer as much after that. If I’m getting these players at rank 13 I don’t want to experience any more if I progress

You're not wrong. Survivors whine, things get nerfed.
Undying was gutted in less than 5 months. It wasn't even that powerful if you weren't too stubborn to run the very viable counters that exist to it. 5 months, though. Of survivor whining.
It took almost 5 years to see Decisive Strike get a real nerf so it was a fair perk.
Cause only Killers were complaining about DS and they could care less. Only recently with the huge drop off in killer players are they somewhat starting to listen and pay attention to killer players.

that video alone explained the entire problem with this game. If survivors are sick of spirit and nurse then SWF needs to be ######### balanced and then nerf those 2 killers
or keep SWF the way it is but buff every killer to be on par with spirit and nurse.
but if they nerf those 2 killers but SWF remains the same then killers will all quit the game.
They won’t touch SWF at all. In fact they endorse it. They recommend it. Their only option is to nerf or buff other killers. I’m not sure they will buff killers, but honestly the only option I see them doing is nerfing spirit and nurse. It will cause the less outrage in their mind and survivor mains will be all for it. Which will make the devs happy cause survivors spend their money on cosmetics more than killers.

People complaining about Nurse these days need to uninstall the game and go play a game they can be good at. Like Minecraft. On peaceful mode.
While I can somewhat understand survivors saying it’s boring just facing nurse and spirit but when you and your SWF friends are playing these two are the only killers that stand a chance. Either buff other killers for variety or stop complaining. Cause when they nerf these two then they won’t be getting any killers at all

welp it was nice knowing this game but it's clearly survivor sided and I am no longer wishing to play
I’m not saying they are as a sure thing but anytime survivors complain hard about certain killers they usually get nerfed. Plus in red ranks survivors and such constantly complain about facing off against spirit and nurse. So they will probably nerf them to shut them up. I’m guessing when they are nerfed the devs will assume people will just switch to other killers, when in reality no one will play killer in high ranked matches anymore cause they have no chance.

I despise TTV in my matches. Anytime I get them as Killer it’s always a three man red rank SWF team while I’m rank 13. Not all are toxic or bad but it always leave a terrible taste in my mouth cause I’m just used as a laughing stock and punching bag for their viewers cause I’m not up to their skill and the game forced me to play against them

SWF is not going to get better. In fact, I believe it’s going to get a lot worse. Whenever I play killer I at least get two SWF and so on. It’s becoming more and more common. So solo q won’t really be solo much longer. I don’t hate SWF per say. But with comms that’s a different story. However survivor mains are the sugar for the devs. They spend their cash on the cosmetics so they aren’t going to hinder SWF cause it will affect their wallet. Killers are leaving en mass and forcing newer killers to go up against red rank SWF, thus forcing more and more killers to leave. I’m honestly excited when the day comes that matches with bots become the norm and the devs have a real problem on their hands.

They already give the survivors an insane amount of low time to complete gens. If that’s not a counter to face camping and tunneling idk what is. Heck, that gen speed is so good it affects and ruins killers who don’t camp and tunnel.

Maybe it’s just me but lately I feel like the BP has been lessened. Like I use to do everything in a match, cleanse totems, gens, hook saves, etc. and would get tons of BP. Still do the same stuff and I barely get much of anything.

I’ve wasted precious time as killer searching for the ghost girl crying in pain. Only to realize it’s not a survivor injured. It messes me up bad.

Grabs seem to never work right for me. I’m on PS4 and it either freezes me till they get away, lags till they get away, or they just get away.

If people want a chill mode I suggest a game mode where the survivors and killers are all in a bar or coffee shop. Taking a break from matches and just talking and relaxing. I’m only half-kidding lol

I’ve been having a bad luck of getting teammates who won’t rescue me and I die on first hook. My suggestion is just focus on your own fun and do as much as you can to earn BP. If your team isn’t helping or doing gens then wreck them. Lead the killer to them etc. if they aren’t going to be a team player then you can be the team killer.

But let's be real here for a moment: Streamers are no different than other players. There's probably some toxic players out there who complain about how you play, and you just don't see it/hear it because they aren't streaming (or if they are, they don't advertise it). Some you do hear, because they'll send you a message. Unless it's some big name streamer, they're probably getting like 6 viewers max and not really making any money off of you. And most of the ones who DO make money off of it usually tend to be the nicer streamers with some exceptions.
My advice: Feel free to check out their streams. But you don't have to. If you do, and they're rude, just leave the stream. No need to watch what they think about your play. They didn't have your Point of View, so they don't really have room to judge how you played. All they can see is what they see. It's like getting a nasty message after a game. You can ignore it.
I guess that’s really all you can do against toxic streamers

Same here. Personally I would prefer to be let known about both SWF and TTV, just with TTV people I would like to see a confirm button or something after it tells you the streamer is streaming and you consent to being their free entertainment

The problem with this game is the minute you learn the ropes they toss you to the sharks. Oh? You’re a rank 13 killer? Sounds about time for you to face rank 1 SWF. Same with Survivor. Oh? You are doing good and having fun? Well let’s knock you down a peg and make you constantly lose against red rank killers.

Reasons why hook suicide is a thing.
And reasons why being able to /kick another Survivor away from you when they try an unsafe unhook -should- be a thing.
Usually then they aren’t really trying to save you just hook farm.

When I play survivor and a team mate gets hooked. I don't immediately leave the gen to go get the save. Usually, when I do, I find the other two did as well and so no one is working on gens. It also takes 60 seconds to get to stage 2 so if I only have 30 seconds left on the gen, I may stay and finish that first.
Kindred is a great perk to run. I can see if the others are going for the save, just hiding or not leaving a gen and it can help me make the decision to leave the gen I'm on to come get the hooked survivor.
I don’t blame people for not immediately coming to get me. I understand. Bout done with a gen, etc. but if you let me get to second hook then I get pissed.

I’m rank 7 survivor and I’m constantly getting tunnelers and campers. Just had a match with the pig that tunneled me so bad she ignored everyone else and just kept putting me oh the hook till I was dead. Couldn’t do much else. She didn’t even try to go after others.

It seems with Deathslinger on console you have to have pinpoint laser accuracy or else you will miss. Even when I have them in center of my sights I still miss a lot.

Honestly from both sides this game would be more fun if the killer was more powered. It would force the survivors to work together more, value their time and goals, etc. and best of all they couldn’t afford to be toxic and troll. This game is suppose to be horror, though honestly it’s a nightmare for the killer.

I tried to do Nurse on console once. It made me sick to watch and I honestly didn’t understand her power or anything. I couldn’t even phase through walls. I managed to hit one person by sheer luck and afterward just let everyone go. That was the last time I tried with Nurse.
ive had days where I’ve encountered multiple bubbas in a row and multiple legions in a row too( and the legions were all insanely good, we couldn’t even complete one gen). Luckily though, I haven’t encountered multiple nurses in a row

That happened to me against a Wraith once. I was honestly confused and angry. We were both injured and both went down in one hit.

Happened to me before but kinda by accident. When I encountered toxic survivors and they trolled me hard I would throw my controller at the couch. It wouldn’t hurt it and it helped me get out the anger. Whelp, I threw it once and it totally missed the couch and hit the wall. Easy to say it broke. After that happened I just took on the approach of if they are being toxic I will just go stand in a corner and let them leave. Not many people get points but I will get my message across about not joining the game if you are going to act like that. Last match I did that it was all PC SWF cross play and I’m on PS4. One survivor was so mad he hopped onto his PS4 just to send me hate messages demanding I play the game. It was honestly hilarious.

Isn’t this the Ochido and AngryPug disease? As long as I’m having fun damn everyone else? I’ve encountered so many toxic people that message me afterwards just to add to the toxicity. They state they basically wanted to take it out on me cause they had previous toxic matches to them. So apparently thats fair.

I admit it’s very annoying hook camping against SWF. Cause usually they will all swarm you and you hit one and then another will take their place. I view it as an exploit honestly. However against solo it’s not that big a deal. Usually it’s just one person, you hit them, they run, and you hook and chase the idiot who pulled that stunt.

I don’t want franklins touch just cause it’s hilarious watching survivors lose their items and they freak out. Can’t tell you how many times I would hit a survivor, they would then instantly come back for their medkit and I would hit them again and down them. Keep a memory of all the fallen items and you can be sure survivors are swarming around them like moths to the flame. They remind me of Gollum. “No! My precious medkit!”

Without Shadowborn I legit feel like I have a ball and chain around my ankle. Killers, especially Huntress, feel incredibly slow to the point a 90 year old granny in a rascal scooter can outrun killers. Whenever I play Huntress without Shadowborn I legit can’t catch up to survivors. It makes it all the more infuriating with the survivor animations looking like they are just going for a brisk jog and I can’t even catch up to them.

While I enjoy Jeepers Creepers movies, the director had some really bad knowledge come up about him, him being a pedophile, and so the series is basically ruined.
I’ve been told that the devs themselves have stated they won’t get him cause of it. Cause they would have to pay and license the character from the pedo.

No. The game wouldn’t work if he could fly. Already as Nurse you can blink see outside of the map a lot, which is weird and breaks the illusion. If you want to incorporate his wings I would suggest a jump and leap mechanic perhaps. But Jeepers Creepers will probably never be in the game due to the fact the director of the third movie was a known pedo. That franchise is tarnished and DBD would get nothing but bad press putting this character in the game. It’s best to just stay away from it.

The ever popular forum topic “why are survivor Queues so long” make me laugh every time I see them pop up. This person’s experience is exactly why newer killers, and to some extent older killers who are tired of the constant sweat, are leaving or simply playing survivor and adding to the queue times.
Eventually survivors will be going against bots and wondering why the games are very boring and scripted. Just amazes me that the devs cater to the 4 as opposed to the role that is on the endangered species list.
I honestly can’t wait for that day. Cause survivors are their cash cows and the only ones they truly favor. When survivors start to leave then they will fix the problem cause it hits them in their wallets. I’m going to laugh the day I’m playing survivor going up against a brain dead bot.

While the matchmaking didn’t work for me, all I got was either rank 1 killers, or baby killers(rank 9) or potato teammates. As Killer, (rank 13) I got constant red ranks, I do find it funny streamers and youtubers complained cause they got matches that definitely fit their skill and actually had to struggle. It’s “not fun” or “good content” for your viewers to see you struggle and possibly lose. Instead they would rather their rank 1 killer go up against low ranks. Which I constantly run across
