You put Pig too low 😪.
Ive found Pig Players to be a really mixed bag in terms of skill, and standard m1 killers don’t really make me feel anything in terms of chase
ones that try to use Ambush for mind-games in chase are usually fun though
-
Here's my list
I will elaborate if asked
-
You know, it's funny
We would never be having this discussion if BHVR didn't make their 20th stupid decision that week and nerfed STBFL for no reason
But hey ho, wouldn't be the first time BHVR has touched something a grand total of nobody asked for or cared about and proceeded to piss off their playerbase

I'd personally rather there be no MMR
There already isn't any MMR to begin with
We've been running off of a slot machine and BHVR's just been gaslighting us into thinking SBMM is a thing they implemented

Surprise Delivery
- Each time a Survivor is hooked for the first time, Surprise Delivery activates for the next 30/35/40 seconds.
- Kicking a Generator while Surprise Delivery is activate will instal a trap and it will deactivate Surprise Delivery.
- Trap will explode after 45 seconds and any Survivor cought within 4 meters of that Generator will lose one health state.
Backdoor
- After hooking a Survivor, Backdoor actives for the next 15 seconds.
- While Backdoor is active, the closest Locker is reveal to you. If the locker is empty, opening it will cause you to walk in and appear in the farthest locker on the map from your current position, then Backdoor deactivates.
Scourge Hook: Shadow Thief
- After hooking a Survivor on the Scourge Hook, you will borrow all equiped aura-reading perks from that Survivor for the next 10/15/20 seconds.
I can definitely see myself using these perks, but I do have to ask, how would Shadow Thief work?
And to add to the pile of perks to judge, here are mine, that were part of a Monster Hunter chapter concept I made a while back

Never needed a nerf??? The perk was simply busted for a long time.
Otz complaining about the perk being good in endgame does not magically make a perk "busted" or indicate that it "needed a nerf"
STBFL was fine as it was, it did not need any changes whatsoever, and the nerfs it got effectively killed it

Unnamed narrator is a girl. So we have unnamed girl, Ashley and Tyler.
Honestly the teaser and story looks intereting and the killer looks like another monster type. And the monster also used Ashley's voice, maybe killer will be skinchanger? Hopefully.
Me personally, if we are getting a killer that mimics voices, I want this guy
-
I'm going to make survivors play Alien Isolation whether they want to or not
-
This is the most Occam’s Razor-esque thing I have read on the forums in a long time
No, the devs are not messing up on purpose for whatever conspiratorial reason you think they are
They’re just bad at balancing the game 🤷♂️
-
Dredge and Singulairty are by far the most map reliant killers, however my vote is going to Dredge, since there are no parts on any map where you straight up can’t use Singularity’s power
That and Nightfall is really inconsistent and either makes it impossible to see anything or is barely a inconvenience depending on how bright the map is
-
A Monster Hunter chapter concept (Yes, I am serious) — BHVR
I'll keep preaching about this until I drop dead
-
FTP/Buckle Up and any Haste Perks

lmao hell yeah, zero viable killers here we come!
We have Nurse, Spirit, and now Hillbilly as "viable" killers for sweaty matches that do not happen nearly as often as you might think, plus, Blight is still amazing even after the 7.5.0 changes to his addons
A revisit does not instantly mean the killer is going to get nerfed into oblivion, we go through this exact same song and dance every ######### time a rework/change is mentioned
-
Massive killers
We've had Victor and now Chucky, and it would be cool to see a really big killer instead of a really small one
-
People do not cheat because of MMR, for one, MMR doesn’t exist, whatever version we have of it in DBD is little more then a glorified slot machine, and for two, people were cheating far, far before MMR was ever implemented
The real reason people cheat is simple, attention, they want you to be upset, they want messages on their profiles, they do not give a ######### about MMR, they simply want you to feel like ######### regardless of whatever matchmaking system this game uses
-
Here's what I generally run
-
Her visual design gave me some serious whiplash, Because I, like many people, were expecting some sort of cyborg based purely off of the misleading first trailer
Then I played a couple of games as her, got pretty upset by how ######### boring she was, and wrote her off as another old Legion situation of "Completely worthless, but extremely annoying"
Now though? Eh, I think she's fine, a smidge annoying but that's mainly due to nobody wanting to play against her
Her reputation isn't exactly undeserved but I do think the hate for her is rather disproportional nowadays
-
MMR isn't real, it's just a slot machine that gaslights the playerbase into thinking they suck, The reason I know this is because I somehow got paired up with Lilith ######### Omen of all people not too long ago
I sincerely wish I was kidding

I mean rainbow six seige got into dbd, a "horror" game
anything really is possible
It really is at this point
-
I'm obligated to post a picture of Malzeno under every post like this at this point
The possibility of it actually happening is low, but it isn't zero
-
Compared to the objectively overpowered nonsense it used to be, Dead Hard is far healthier and actually skill-based now
I don't run it, but I no longer feel cheated out of a win because of it, which is a very good thing
-
Daily reminder that MMR isn't real and matchmaking only exists to gaslight you into thinking you suck
-
I will continue preaching about this until it happens or I drop dead
I'd kill for literally any Monster Hunter representation but there is no way you can convince me that Malzeno wouldn't be the most badass chapter we have ever gotten
-
I will 100% admit that I am the the type of person to always looks for characters that look like me in any video game I play, Jake is the closest character in the game currently who looks like me, so I ended up making him my main survivor
Now he's currently my only P100 and I have no regrets about it
-
I can definitely see it being Meta but I doubt it’ll be much of a issue, since it blocks gens there’s no synergy with PGTW unless you’re lucky with hook spawns by gens
Could be a pain (ha) with Pain Res but I’d still take that over some of the more obnoxious slowdown metas we’ve had
-
I'm hoping for a more esoteric theme this year, stuff like old folktales and legends you would tell your friends around a campfire, Stuff like Wendigos, Shadowy figures that you can only see out the corner of your eye, creatures that do not abide by natural laws, that sort of thing
-
@GeneralV said:
And why, exactly, is STBFL getting a change?
This perk is extremely helpful for M1 killers. I don't see why it needs a nerf.
Because a Youtuber said it was a issue in end-game camping, and this community is full of sheep
-
They were considered bugs at some point, but they have been in the game for so long that they might as well be considered Techs
I hate that definition, but that's the one everyone seems to be going with
-
I think he's fun and decently strong, however he is very much map dependant, he dominates on indoor maps like Lerys and Hawkins but absolutely sucks on Coldwind
Extra locker spawns would make him so much better
-
Oh no, BHVR actually fixed a blatantly obvious glitch that was very clearly not intended and gave Chucky free hits
The horror, however will people manage
-
GimmeGimmeGimmeGimmeGimme
I do not care how many people say "oh its too big" or some other lame excuse like that
I want to be chased around by Malzeno and I want it goddamn yesterday
-
https://youtu.be/q9cXEq33yCY
I don't feel the need to elaborate further beyond wishing I could hear this in game more, unfortunately, few people play Dredge, so hearing it's a rarity
-
Call it confirmation bias, but I rarely see FttE, and when I do, the killer doesn't get a lot of value out of it
I'm sure you're not having fun dealing with it, but personally, I'd much rather deal with FttE then 4 old MFTs
-
Tools of Torment is at the bottom for me, I like Skull Merchant a hell of a lot more then I used it, but her old design still leaves a very vile taste in my mouth, 4/10
End Transmission dropped on my Birthday and Singularity feels like he was made specifically for me to the point where I’m still not sure if BHVR were tracking my every move or not before its release, 10/10
Nicolas Cage, I don’t play him but Dramaturgy’s become my favourite perk and going for his adept led to the greatest match I have ever played, 9/10
Alien, I like Xenomorph, I like Nostromo Wreckage, I have a unhealthy infatuation with the Xeno-Queen skin, 10/10
Stranger Things returning, 10/10, I do not feel the need to elaborate further
Chucky, don’t care for Childs Play as a franchise, don’t care that much about Chucky as a killer, but getting called a dipshit by a angry redheaded midget mid chase is pretty funny, 7/10
-
A large haunted castle or mansion
I like my indoor maps more then most people, and something like The Manor from Darkest Dungeon or Castle Brennenburg from Amnesia would be amazing to explore and play in
-
Either a Spider or a Dragon
Honestly though I'll take anything that isn't humanoid
-
6.1.0 killed Dead Hard
That alone made it one of the best patches DBD has ever had
-
SBMM doesn't work, it's a slot machine that sometimes gives you balanced matches and usually gives you complete nonsense
-
100% deserved
The issue with MFT wasn’t that it was overpowered, but rather that it was overtuned
- The 3% haste didn’t mean anything to the Meta killers and Skull Merchant, however it negatively affected basically everyone else, 110%s especially
- The 3% Haste had no downsides or duration, it was simply “get hit, be rewarded” which isn’t nearly as big of a risk as the devs thought it was
- The added Endurance effect had exactly no reason to exist and just made the perk more powerful then it should have been
The deep-wounds requirement actually fixes all of these problems except for making killers that naturally inflict Deep Wound harder to play, but honestly I’d take that over the perk not getting nerfed at all
-
An example of how well Skull Merchant can hold 3 gens
I.E, literally cannot do that anymore because her drones can be countered by just standing still
-
I will continue preaching it until I drop dead
A Monster Hunter chapter would be absolutely amazing
-
Honestly Ruin would be fine as is if it wasn't a Hex
As it stands right now though, it's a incredibly fragile Perk that does almost nothing, if it had a activation condition and didn't make itself immediately obvious like, for example, Face The Darkness, OR had it's numbers buffed to what it used to be, it'd be okay
Ruin got shot in the kneecaps twice and it is honestly just depressing to watch
-
- They played well/their teammates screwed them over
- They aren't the Obsession and I don't have Rancor
Those are my two conditions
-
GimmeGimmeGimmeGimmeGimme
-
I don't really care for the same reason I don't care about skins being time limited
If I want them, I probably already have them, if I don't want them, I don't get them
I'm happy for the people who want these cosmetics, and I'm not going to have a fit over a bunch of pixels being made a little less special
-
It boils down to what the license holders let them do
If, for example., the license holders for Pinhead say "Hey you guys can make a Blighted Pinhead if you want", BHVR will be allowed to make a Blighted Pinhead, otherwise, they aren't
If the license holder says yes, BHVR can make it, if they no, they can't, pretty simple concept
-
Complex powers are not a failure, they're just unpopular due to being complex, people are going to be far more likely to pick up a "Press X button to do thing" Killer then a "Press X to do thing then press Y button to do thing and also watch for Z that's super important" Killer
-
With every license we get, the more likely similar licenses become, so who knows, maybe it'll happen eventually
-

Nice shots, the Trickster one is perfect.
I used to love running Rancor but lots of people hate going against it and it can feel like you’re ripping away someone’s earned escape.
Argument against that however, there are hints that Rancor is in play (aura of Killer after every gen when you’re the obsession), but not everyone is aware of it. Nemesis (perk) synergizes well with it at end game as well to get multiple mories if you’re lucky.
I think the perk would be seen in a better light if more people were aware of the signs of it. When I’m survivor and know it’s in play, I tend to hide at end game until it’s safe enough to run for an open gate. Usually Killers will be distracted trying to find you so you can use that to your advantage.
If there's only one thing I love about Trickster's Mori, is that this frame is the perfect set up for this joke
