But the constant problems with the game itself, the bugs that over the years "get fixed" (only to introduce 3 more bugs), perks that over the years that have been broken for months to even a year or longer, hit validation being really bad, the constant state of hackers, lag compensation in the game being always god awful, dedicated servers making the game worse than it was before (the oldschool players still around will get this one)...
And finally.... the state of toxicity this game breeds and just aggressively worsens...
People have just grown tired of it.

although what I heard about the tome story it’s very well written and not just slapped on! It ties in stuff from his previous tome and background story about his ex and his relationship to his parents. The tweet on its own may feel like it’s been slapped on though.
If David’s story is well written, I’m all for it, but the tweet definitely didn’t help with how it the whole thing ended up looking
Personally, I would have just left out the Tweet and let people figure out that David was gay for themselves, would have been a lot more organic imo

you would hope so but that’s not true. In the past people have stated how it would feel disingenuous if it was a new character for various reasons: it would just be pandering, they would do it for the money, the lore would be poorly written and one dimensional etc pp
People complain about everything unfortunately, but I personally would have preferred if they had made a new character for this representation push instead of slapping a label onto David and calling it a day

Speaking as someone who honestly could not give less of a damn about what people’s tastes in partners is since it really shouldn’t have a effect on how they are perceived by others, it’s how it was done rather then that it was done that makes it seem a bit disingenuous, as several other people have pointed out

I get that, but you could have definitely made that point in a more rational and calm way
and do keep in mind, BHVR said that David being gay was the FIRST step, not the ONLY one, so who knows? Maybe a character that represents what you want to be represented will get added in the near future, I'm sure it'll happen eventually

Not trying to be rude, but to me this just reads as "LGBT people must look a specific way or otherwise they aren't actually LGBT, and anyone that disagrees with me is marginalising LGBT people"
BHVR are quite progressive as a whole, i doubt they'd make David gay for brownie points and brownie points alone, i'd personally save the outrage for when his tome comes out and more of his story is revealed, doing it the day before we even see the parts that matter, that being the actual story, feels like jumping the shark to me

The music alone makes me happy enough to the point where i can leave with 0 kills or hooks and still be smiling, and landing the 5 chain down, while rare, is very satisfying
Legion's still weak, but they're a lot more fun to play now

Honestly when it comes to licensed maps i'd prefer it'd be as close to the source material as possible while still being balanced, and the kinda dumb windows aside, i think they nailed that with the new Haddonfield
Now i hope they make Blackwater Swamp not painful to play on and to look at

Honestly, i think this will be the one time i won't get that mad at a Blendette, seeing as they can only really do it in specific parts of the map, rather then anywhere on the map (CoughXIstillhateYamokaEstateXCough)

Any combination that isn't DS/UB/DH/COH is fine by me honestly
I don't mind if you run one or multiple of these perks, just never run more then 2 at a time, that is just excessive

When you combine Dad Boots with Spiked Boots, it creates a really uncounterable combo. There is nothing you can do again this because if you end up avoiding his chainsaw, guess what?
He can instantly turn around and down you. There is no way to strafe or anything to avoid his chainsaw with this combo.
And before you say to hold W, on most open maps that won't matter because he can catch up in seconds.
Even on indoor maps, with this combo you have so much control over your chainsaw it's unfair.
And I understand that it's one of the only things Billy has going for him, but that doesn't mean it should be allowed.
Billy's been beaten into the floor enough as it is
If we're going to make any changes to him, they should be buffs and making him not feel clunky as all hell to play, not nerfs

Stranger Things was what got me into DBD in the first place (please renegotiate the license BHVR i am begging you)
My least favourite would probably be Binding of Kin, ignoring the fact that the Twins were and still are clunky to play, and encourage a very boring playstyle, and ignoring that Elodie on release nearly blew out my eardrums, i am genuinely impressed that the game was still functional enough for All Kill with how many things it broke
We are thankfully past that for the most part, but still, BOK was probably the roughest a chapter launched

Did you mean to write "less infuriating"? Because this seems like the exact opposite of less infuriating...
the idea is is that the survivor has to take a large risk in order to get a survivor off the killer's shoulder, they wouldn't have i-frames and would suffer from a pretty substantial slowdown or even getting downed if they mistime it or outright miss
It's not a perfect idea i realise, but i still think making it a offence-oriented saving tool would be better then the mistake erasing perk from hell that it currently is

CoH was perfect on the PTB because it was a time efficiency tool against everything, rather than just something that could get away with being a time efficiency tool vs bottom tier killers on maps like springwood on cowshed + it's real niche.

removing self heal right now isn't just touching CoH, it's a big nerf to Surv over all, in a patch where surv is already firmly on the weaker side!
last i checked COH on the PTB was so over tuned that it could let you heal faster then the killer's swing animation in the right circumstance (2 survivors healing someone at the same time)
the only "perfect" that was is "perfectly busted", hence why it got nerfed
