Survs think they smart, bbut in reality, it helps killer.

Dredge is easily my favorite killer since Legion release.
Really like playing him
-
Don't worry devs will fix the dual locker lock cheese that is not intended and basically an exploit.
-
I play nice during events and dont care, why? Because having my killer roster at p3 is worth more than some pips. Them 175k matches are really nice, you think I care if you escape if I get 175k BP?

Hoarding problem?
I dont play Huntress or PLague much, but I spent over 100 cakes on each of them I play cakes on them when I do their dailies, which is all I play them on , I always p3 a killer during events, so I end up spending 10+mil on levels and have cakes on them, doing the same with Dredge, I kept him at p2 until event, then p3ed him dumped 4 mil in him first day of event.
But no I dont hoard really, in fact, I prestiged some survs and deleted all the old Halloween kits and lights etc I dont care about items at all
-
I use this thing from ancient times called paper and pen.
I wrote down the ones I got as I got them. Its amazing
-
nah just me chilling next to the chest as Bubba
-
yes, I have hundreds of each prior years still on my killers I grinded during those events. For example, on my Huntress 100+ 103% cvakes on Plague over 140 104% cakes.
Now I have like 230+ on Dredge
-
as killer I havent seen a single surv wearing one since event. Only playing Dredge/Bubba right now so not wearing one myself.

There's genuine psychological studies that not including negative reinforcement within a game (ie. "Entity Displeased") and instead having neutral messages (ie. "The Entity Hungers") is more likely to make someone continue to play following a loss, and the more likely they are to return to the game. And the more they return, the more likely they are to purchase something, thus giving BHVR more money.
So, yeah, sure, they "carebeared" a phrase to take advantage of psychological studies to gain greater revenue and simultaniously increase consumer utility. I don't see why this is anything to scorn.
getting rid of depipping would have more effect if that was the case babes
-
this is the state of gaming bros.
they carebeared a phrase
-
I run Franklins every night just to troll SWFs. It is by far my favorite perk.
-
As a killer I let No Mither tomes go.
As surv I had to do No Mither the hard way, no killer would have mercy on m e
LOL
-
I swear one match, I didnt even chase survs, I ran around looking for invitation, never found one entire match LOL
5 more masks to go
-
My one complaint is why open the gates so fast, I obviously let you guys do gens, no one seems to go look for the invitations, they just run out.
In chat Im like "guys I was letting you get masks why leave so fast?"
only had one or two teams yesterday understand not to do gates go look for invitations then leave
all matches yesterday I played nice, 360 hooking, moonwalking while carrying survs etc...
-
THESE TOXIC SURVIVORS RAN A MERRY GO ROUND AROUND SHACK!
this type of harrassment must end, Dredge just looked in awe confused, surrounded by darkness and as he approached they began running circles around him too!
these tactics are unacceptable!!!
150k BP btw
-
Iri, teabag, youtube
-
I always do. Changed my name to Bubba Like Cake for the event, if I see cakes, we getting 100K+ bois
-
not me, back to back 175k matches everyone gets a mask and I get love. Bubba Like Cake is my name for the anniversary event
ah the good life as Killer.

So how does this work? Is there a pillar with an invitation for everyone on trial? Is it only for you? Does it move? I am so confused, I played about 6 games but only found one invitation.
it respawns, this is what you looking for for those who not sure what it looks like
-
idk, just had a wholesome milkman Billy let us all get masks.
Ill be playing nice killer tonight too, idc not gonna sweat during events ever.
we can resume the us vs them after bros, til then, gimme those flans
-
this is the thing to look for if anyone still wondering

Hmmm, don’t think so. I was playing Zarina and when I got back to lobby it popped up with an Elodie head mask. When I switched to her, the mask was available. As I understand, it’s random which one you get each time
The popup is only on the screen for a couple seconds, so you may have missed it when you were loading back to lobby.
I’m not sure who all gets a mask, but I’m pretty sure it’s only original characters, not licensed. And only a few of them. I’d say go look through inventories to see if someone has it. Remember, it could be on a killer as well!
found it, it was a Spirit Mask.
nice. thanks BHVR, I want Tricksters next please
-
about to check each surv

Yes, it’ll pop up when you get back to your lobby. Also, escape doesn’t matter, once the gate opens, your mask is secured!
hmm didnt see anythingpop, do you need to be on a specific survivor?

it looks like a totem pole / pedestal with skulls on it. About as tall as a survivor. You’ll hear a universal high-pitched “sheeeng” sound every time one appears/moves.
When you’re near, it’ll have a purple aura if it’s on the other side of a wall (range is short though, like 2 meters). I found mine between 2 stacks of crates against a T-L wall at Macmillan.
Once you get one, you’ll sparkle all match. Might make you a target, but it’s worth it!
I just escaped with the twinklies, but not sure what if anything happened, is there a mask in inventory somewhere?

For a Killer, you just need to grab an invitation and finish the match. For Survivors, you need to grab an invitation and stay alive until an exit is opened (either hatch or gate).
I found the pile of skulls thing, got the twinklies on me, escaped as Nea, nothing happened. Recorded match
Do we need be on specific survivors?
-
two matches, escaped twice no clue what Im even looking for LOL ran around looking didnt see anything just dipped
-
dont worry bros, Ill be on if I see 2 cakes, we all getting 100k bois dont worry not all of us are griefing, we can get back to us vs them after I get as many 100k matches as I can this week

They should be enabled now. You may need to restart your game for the changes to take effect.
all good, I don't get upset about this stuff, it is entertaining and I know you guys will have it ready in no time.

flans already disabled in my web

Your devotion level can technically say how much you played the game. Higher the devotion, higher the experience
I want per killer stats and I think had over 1k hour before devotion even came to the game, I am devotion 11 about to be 12 I think and at 3k hours now

Agree tbh.
I never really understood why everyone thought Nea was ugly?
Like she just looks like an ordinary person to me lol. Kind of mean imo.
not to mention those that say this, well, lets just say some of the streamers who perpetrated this for years on twitch, not much to look at either tbh.,
like pot why you calling kettle ugly
-
I just want playtime on each killer, how many matches on killers etc,...
People brag about their hours in the game, but its mostly lobby time, I wanna know if I spent 500 hours on Bubba playing not sitting in a lobby. Trying put 500 hours into Bubba, right now Im counting the matches, and using 10 minute match as average so need like 3000 matches

I've been beating this drum for a while now, and it's good to see so many other people share the same sentiment.
Depipping accomplishes nothing. Grades aren't used for matchmaking, so your grade doesn't affect your opponent level (in theory). Grades aren't an indicator of optimal skill level. No one but you can see your grade pre or post match (unless they're part of your SWF as survivor, and it's doubtful they care). So other than the BP bonus, moving down in a particular grade level is something that only affects your ability to gain BP at the end of a month.
When I get to Rank 1, I change my style considerably. I'm much more likely to experiment, play around with meme builds, or goof off in a match, since any pressure to not de-pip is gone. I'm sure many others play that way as well.
Getting to Rank 1 wouldn't be automatic if de-pipping wasn't a thing -- people who don't play all that often, or who struggle with playing the game, are still going to have trouble pipping -- especially at higher grades -- and getting past a certain rank, even if they can't de-pip. The possibility that some people might play more casually outweighs any reason that remains for keeping the de-pip as it is.
This is something I hope the devs realize at some point and implement as a QOL improvement for everyone.
Unfortunately, I genuinely believe depipping is left there to make playtime rise and that is a concern of the devs. They dont want us to reach Iri 1 faster because they think we stop playing after that.
no, we stop playing as sweaty, I wish they'd realize this. I feel the same as you.

I'm not a big fan of when killers just do their challenge and then stop all interactions - I've seen this a lot. If I go in as killer and decide I'm going to do my challenge and let everyone leave I also make sure I interact at lot with survivors such as chasing, hooking at least one, letting them stun me etc.. just so they have a chance to get any challenges they have too.
imo thats probably survivor mains playing killer. As a killer main I have never stopped playing after getting a tome done. Sounds survish

I'd like to think people don't play in a way that causes others to de-pip. Other peoples grades literally make no difference to each other, especially now that they hide them. I think people just camp because it's easy kills.
Not what I meant, I meant killers will camp and tunnel to get pips or not lose them. Not griefing. After I hit Iri 1 I stop caring about pips.
-
@spirit72 said:
A player who disconnects from a match should lose a pip. Other than that, I agree that it no longer serves a useful purpose.
now this I do support,... you DC, lose a pip.

@Akumakaji said:

I can confirm. Getting 4 pips and then facing an obnoxious SWF team and you knowing that you might be thrown back, again, is disheartening. So lets camp it out in order to minimize the damage. Source: I am a killer main.
I am two different people when playing to get Iri 1 for BP reward.
Before I hit Iri 1: NO mercy Twins, BUbba
After I hit Iri 1: hey lets play Clown and watch me 360 hook you and moonwalk while carrying a surv to a hook who cares if Feng gets hatch,. 3k is good enough
-
Depipping is the #1 reason killers camp and tunnel so much. Killers would play more variety if you didn't depip too.
-
Content creators for miles just gasped!
For as long as time people, some of the bigger streamers/creators of the fog, including some Fog Whisperers have a vibrant history of purposefully dying at the end of a match to keep their rank down and continue to play at lower rank for content.
You'd be surprised at the activity in the past of some of the popular among us. Popularity in DBD makes people look the other way on behavior, one even being popular streamers who have history of N word, or even other slurs. They just say "oh I have changed" and fans simply forget it.

A Treatise on Camping And Tunneling by InvadeGames
I read it.

@spodamayn said:
People hoard them because the toxicity during anniversary events is at an all time high. It's usually the time when there's the most camping and tunneling and people don't want to reward that if they're tunneled out of the game in the first couple of mins into the match. They'd rather wait to use offerings when people have calmed down a bit after the event
As a killer if I see 2+ cakes, bros we all getting 100k.... all IM gonna say
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Wait... people seriously withhold their cakes because they don't want other people to get bonus bp? Bitterness levels overloading
when I play a cake or BPS as a surv, I always tell the team so they can match it.
those 4xBP is nice!
-
Not gonna lie, I am not a hoarder. I actually despise inventory management in games, coming from Ultima Online where we had a bank system where you had to put items in chest storage that maxed out and you had to buy a second account to hold more junk.
I love DBD becuse items are disposable, and not gonna lie, when I p3ed some survs this year I had all that old Halloween toolboxes/Halloween flashlights and it felt great to click "Prestige" and delete all of it.
hate game clutter, burn the cakes

Thanks
