Red Forest, Haddonfield, and Swamp. Coldwind is on it's way soon so these three are the priority. Unless you're a high mobility Killer, Red Forest is a death sentence...the maps are HUGE and the gens are so spread out that you have to hope for good RNG. Instead of breakable walls, Haddonfield should get breakable fences and the Swamps fat shaming spots need addressed.
-
All these people saying it's a 'third health state' are wrong. It's a dodge...nothing more nothing less. They aren't healed or deep wounded (an actual third health state) when they use it. It's only as devastating as you make it, if you decide to chase someone for more than a minute that's on YOU. Dead Hard is not that much of an issue, lazy Killers just want an easy game even though they move faster and have a built in speed boost called Bloodlust.
-
Crushed Alive (or Knock, Knock): After performing a basic attack on a locker, the Entity will block it for 10 seconds. Any Survivor inside the locker will be injured (Deep Wound if already injured) and gain the Broken effect for 40/50/60 seconds. Cooldown of 120 seconds and only one locker can be affected at a time.

Didn't read any of this thread, just wanted my 420th post to be on 4/20 :)
-
@Lord_Tony No, you can research it yourself. Both Peanits and Almo have stated this in several threads
-
@Lord_Tony I could, but considering your post history and the fact you wanna assume how I play, instead I'm gonna tell you to stop being an entitled baby. I play both sides evenly and quite frequently, mori's are in a good spot. Have a good day!
-
Mori's were never intended to make a huge impact on the game, they were introduced as a cool death animation for flavor instead of the same ol' hook sacrifice animation. People just got too used to using them as an early game kill to immensely tip the scale in their favor. They are fine as they are now, they do what was initially intended. (Since someone is probably gonna start spewing whataboutism...Keys will be done eventually, they are more complicated than a simple number change.)
-
I'm on console (XBOX ONE) and turned crossplay off awhile ago. I will never put it back on either, every time I tried with either role, the game would crash as soon as it loaded the map. Queue times aren't that bad either, but I generally play midday or late night so that may be why. But yeah, PC just has way too much of an advantage anyway with the poor console optimization.
-
@DwightFairfield Go back to your locker!
-
@miketheratguy All characters start with their teachables at level 1 regardless of Prestige level. So if you Prestige Dwight, you will get the bloody shirt the first time, pants the second time and the face last. But each time you will automatically have Leader, Prove Thyself and Bond no matter what and now every Survivor can learn those perks as well
-
Would making the Survivors have a point quota work? I think it'd be better for both roles with that, actually. Still easier for Killer (as they have enough to manage already) but Survivors would have to participate in the match because they already compete with themselves for points. Then again, the added objective and something different to interact with is ALWAYS good as long as it's balanced.
-
I think the zombies are related to the upcoming L4D event, could be wrong though
-
I got lucky on this one and had a match against Spirit where my entire team dc'd so they asked to farm
-
Campers, tunnelers, Freddy, 59 second DS, facecamping Bubba, Dead Hard into teabagging like they did something skillful, teammates doing nothing and Stridor Spirit. They don't make me mad, but definitely worthy of an eyeroll and a golf clap.
-
Had a match against a baby Billy and despite his best effort, could NOT get any hooks. We got all gens done and this Meg decided after the gates were open (the other two escaped already) that she was gonna taunt him and teabag him at Killshack as long as she could. I felt bad for Billy watching this happen and decided to sandbag her at shack window, she went down and I immediately ran to the gates. No reason to be an ######### to someone that is clearly struggling.

yes but that's the way you should know, i shouldn't know it by simply going for a dull totem, this is unfair
No it's not, Hex Perks have always been high risk for high reward...you're making a mountain out of a mole hill.
-
Jason is much more than a guy with a machete and bear traps. Sure, he used a bear trap in the reboot, but I envision him having some sort of teleport and a stealth mechanic instead. His perks would probably incorporate synergies with Brutal Strength and/or Enduring.
-
Honestly, if you main a certain role, your veiwpoint is biased and therefore irrelevant. Until you play both sides equally, you don't see the reason(s) why people play the way they do. Some people are only happy when they're complaining though...it's way easier to whine and pout than see the other side of things.
-
You get 500 bp using For The People, think the event is called Transfusion
-
https://youtu.be/5I_YgWpqdHs right around 3:55 is a good example for the antidote but this whole vid was kinda memeing with potatoes
-
Huh-huh...you said 'hole' heh-hehmheh
-
I play on console, but after 5 controllers being ruined I rebinded 'struggle' to left trigger because it can handle mashing better. Really wish they'd implement increasingly difficult skillchecks instead, mashing sucks.
-
@ShamelessPigMain I'm not complaining, I'm asking. Just because you read an online post doesn't mean it's automatically a complaint. As mentioned, almost every tile on Red Forest is safe...pair that with super spread out gens and slower Killers have to play extremely sweaty to win.
-
@ManWithALemon How many times you gonna move the goalpost? If you can't catch a 'Hold W' survivor, that's on you bud. Sure, some maps that still need a rework make it a challenge sometimes but not enough to make it a problem.
-
There is no 'holding W' problem, it's all in your head.
-
Anyone doing the quest spawns an individual Glyph...potentially five can spawn in a given trial.
-
Thanks for the ideas, really wish she had an Ultra Rare addon that ignored fatigue until you missed if you got a precise blink. That'd probably be too OP in the right hands though. It'd also be nice if matchmaking didn't seem to think I need to go against sweaty red rank gen rushers as I'm only rank 10 and falling as I play her lol
-
It's definitely a staple in any good Altruism build. I use it with Desperate Measures, Self Care and Resilience. If everyone is injured, you can 99% heal yourself and get that Resilience value healing everyone else and/or pump out some gens.
-
You mean like this?
-
Yeah, pretty much every action (vault, throw pallet, heal, repair, get in/out of locker) is tied to the same button.
-
Yes it does
-
It's not important, people just feel the need to shove their agendas onto everyone else and make a big deal of it. Even if you mildy disagree with the notion 'shame on you for raining on their parade'. We live in a society.
-
I ran For the People, Iron Will, We're Gonna Live Forever and (obviously)Empathy with a 3 heal medkit, got it my third try solo queue against an Oni. This challenge really depends on the Killers playstyle, but just follow injured people and as soon as they go down if the Killer doesn't immediately pick them up, just FTP them or heal with WGLF if you think you have time. I died doing this but everyone else got out, so win-win because this challenge is done and over! Hope this helps ๐๐

Gotta love the double standards of the entitled Killer mains here. If Survivors don't at least get to see the Killers username (not access profile info) why should the Killer get to see everything? The mystery factor helps build a suspenseful game and Killer can just look at all the lobby info and decide whether or not they wanna play that match. If Survivors don't need Killer info, why do Killers need Survivor info? 'KiLLeR iS sO StReSsFul'...no it's not, Killer is the easiest it's been in the history of this game. Nobody should be able to see anyones info til the endgame screen.

Thinking about it, imagine a perk that makes a gen explodes when a Surv touches it, for like 30 sec or somethin after you kicked it.
I mean, there's Pop Goes the Weasel, Dragon's Grip, Overcharge...are you thinking of a perk that combines all three effects? Pop Goes the Overcharged Dragon? ๐
-
@Skarkio Would you mind not assuming I'm a Survivor main("your fellow survivors")? I play the whole game and love playing Myers,Plague and Blight as much as I play Survivor and only solo queue for the latter role. I said nothing about being able to access the Killer profile either, just make it visible...but I think I like Shaped's idea more: just no names shown whatsoever until the end. You can't use the games assymetrical format to justify Killers being toxic either, toxicity is toxicity and that's the bottom line. Finally, I do report them and provide visual proof...nothing happens, that's why I started this thread. Have a good day
-
@Another_LegionMain Well if their matchmaking system worked (and I'm hoping the upcoming system works), it wouldn't be an issue
-
@Shaped That would work too, I would definitely be on board for that. It's a little pathetic how petty people can be and hold grudges.
-
@SocialDistomancy I'm not some whiny Survivor main, I play the whole game. It's not so much the face camping as toxic messages, I report them both in game and on Xbox...nothing gets done about it and I really try to enjoy this game despite its many issues.
-
I think the Killers username and everyones rank absolutely should be visible in lobbies as well as an indicator of people in groups/parties together
-
...It's...part of the game? The best option in that scenario is to leave them to die and avoid them like a disease. Try looking for hatch if it's visible or wait by a gate.
-
'Mains' in general need to stop complaining. If you don't play the other half of the game, you have no valid opinion...simple as that.
-
@NoOneKnowsNova All good, I found it out by watching Paulie Esther's YT videos ๐
-
@NoOneKnowsNova The only way to guarantee proper spawns is to use the 'Mary's Letter' offering. You will get the right gen spawns every time if one is burned. Makes me wonder if it's the same for finding the undiscovered easter egg on Oni's map, seems everyone forgot about it or gave up.
-
Just recently got all perks unlocked on my P3 Jeff! Only other Survivor I have this done with is Feng who I mained for most of my time in DbD. Looking forward to maining Jeff for a bit while I decided who to max out next!
-
@RayrafLPP Lol I know how to use it, you shouldn't assume things out of context...it really discredits your opinion in my book. The first time they use DH might fool you, any time after that and its totally on you...in the right hands it's definitely a really strong perk but it's not some uncounterable god tier perk.
-
Dead Hard is NOT OP, so easy to bait once you realize they have it. Wish people would quit crying for nerfs, but I might as well crap in my other hand.
-
*Yawn* DS and Object are finally getting nerfed soon, quit being whiny Killers.
-
He still laughs when he shocks you even if you don't scream, so he has a general idea of where you are with Calm Spirit regardless of add ons. I still wish No Mither would counter Oni though, makes no sense that it doesn't.
