@hatchking Maybe, quite possibly, s/he wasn't asking you then...😂
-
The new UI is an absolute headache, I completely despise it...the new animations are really wierd too. Hardly think this update is an improvement in any sense and the reworked maps are all I like about it so far. Really hope they at least add an option to revert the UI to the original instead of just saying 'deal with it'. (Edit: typo)

Art the Clown from Terrifier/All Hallows

@Kellie People dc for hatch 9/10 of the time because the Killer slugs for the 4k and drags the game out an extra 5 minutes. OP claims they played fair but there's no proof and regardless, the Survivors knew they were in a losing situation and one decided to sac all of their bloodpoints and pips plus receive a timeout to give the other guy a shot at hatch. For OP to come whining to the forums like they deserved the 4k is entitlement at its finest
-
Oh no! My entitlement! 🙄 Get over it
-
Despite her being one of the tallest Killers, she is actually pretty quiet with Undetectable active. I like running my stealth build (Dark Devotion, Furtive Chase, Nemesis and generally Make Your Choice or BBQ but Tinkerer is good too) on her to get an optimal angle for flanking. I generally run the purple/green effectiveness add ons so once you pop outta nowhere you can fully infect with one fully charged Purge.
-
Still would like to see Victor in a tux and top hat...
-
I call him Ol' Pooflinger
-
Nemesis, Furtive Chase, Dark Devotion and Corrupt intervention with Purge effectiveness addons.
-
@Trashmaster Feng Min is Chinese...
-
Now I want Dhalsim from Street Fighter as a Killer lol YOGA FLAME!!
-
I think he should get a map in the 'Grave of Glenvale' realm personally
-
I like using Nemesis, Furtive Chase, Dark Devotion and usually Make your Choice for the 4th. You can get some good stealth plays with this build and essentially just use your power for mobility
-
On the Swamp, the hatch seems to spawn along the edges of the map in my experience
-
Just make it like Pyramid Head's Cages...if the Killer is in close proximity long enough, the hook moves across the map
-
@Vetrathene No, how often does the DS user go down within 30 seconds of hitting it? Other than EGC instances, fairly often in my experience. I personally don't use DS unless there's a 'Stun Killer' rift challenge. But as I mentioned, if a Killer can proxy camp and tunnel (So MuCh SkILl), a Survivor deserves the ability to shank em and get another chance for escape. Is it highly abusable with SWF? Absolutely, but what can't be?
-
Back to the topic (Bloodrush) instead of everyone crying about keys, I have had the opposite happen where every Killer just camps and/or tunnels every game. It's like we can't stop being sweaty dbags for ONE week to alleviate the god awful grind this game has.
-
If camping and tunneling are legit strategies, DS is also a legit strategy. The difference being that a Survivor has to actually be good at mindgaming and loops to get away...the Killer just has to proxy camp the slug for a minute or better yet, find someone else to chase.
-
If tunneling and camping are legit strategies, Killer's have no room to whine about DS being a legit strategy. I don't think it needs buffed, but people definitely need to quit crying about it. It's a one time use perk that even when used, the user generally goes down shortly after it procs due to bloodlust and if it gets used during endgame, the Killer already lost anyway.
-
@Axx You're missing the point, but you also seem like an entitled Killer main, so I'll leave you to your entitlement. Good day.
-
@Axx Yeah, because Killers can't act entitled in any way, shape or form. When their Ruin gets cleansed early or end up chasing someone too long and 3 gens pop and DC, that's the Survivors' fault, right?
-
I would much rather see Art the Clown from All Hallows Eve/Terrifier than Pennywise if they add another clown. His power could be stealth and his bag of 'toys'.
-
@Mr_K said:
Lore? Lore! LORE!!
Yeah, the moment the lore started to not matter anymore is when they made a survivor perk that calls for the Entity's help.
The Entity wants BOTH sides to struggle, not just Survivors. It's empowered by the pain and suffering of anyone/thing within its realm.
-
I think the point of this thread is to simply state, 'Hey we have 1 week to ease the tension and alleviate the god awful grind this game has' but instead people would rather not capitalize and farm it up for a week. Cmon, one week of not being sweaty dbags and earning a crap ton of bp in the process sounds like a win to me.
-
As someone who plays quite a bit of both sides, BBQ is just boring. As Killer I enjoy actually hunting for Survivors, not being shown where to go. The BP bonus is nice, sure, but the aura reading kills it for me...I get fat on Survivor Pudding instead.
-
@tomas11403 If they ever add Human Centipede as a Killer, I hope you're behind Meg EVERY time.
-
If I go against a Freddy with slowdowns, you bet I'm gonna laugh at them and give em hell. How many crutches do you need on a high mobility Killer? I'll admit 'Forever Freddy' was toned down slightly, but it's still a boring slog of a match as it is.
-
I've always been under the impression (since the Killer lock) that everyones loadout should be locked as soon as they hit 'Find Match'. Not ready? Don't queue up...problem solved.
-
When whiney Killer mains start crying they automatically disconnect.
-
@viden No, it's just I don't see the need to argue at full capacity with someone who nitpicks one word in my original post, I've been playing DbD for 3.5 years mostly in red rank so you're just making baseless assumptions with an inferiority complex. Have a good day
-
@viden Do you need a tissue? If you're having that much trouble, then I don't know what to tell you other than stop being an entitled crybaby. If you get outplayed, SO WHAT? It happens to everyone.
-
@viden I'm not being ignorant, if anything, you are. You pick ONE WORD out of my post and start crying about it. It takes so long to actually overheat with Billy that if you do...you're playing him wrong. He has enough mobility to defend a hex on the other side of the map to validate his inclusion in my post. Undying didn't really get nerfed, its new form is actually better since you can actually use other hexes that have token counters now instead of the braindead Ruin combo.
-
@viden What are you doing on this thread then? It's about Ruin/Undying and you're just here crying about Billy.
-
Yeah, they look cool, but Victor's hitbox is broken af
-
I only run it if I'm doing a Sabo build. Pair it with Breakout, Dead Hard and generally Inner Strength for quick heals while eliminating totems. Most of the time I just get tunneled out when the Killer's had enough of my crap though. If it weren't for the bugged Protection proc, I'd probably run it more often.
-
@viden So nitpick one thing out of my post and neglect the rest? The point remains with high mobility Killers and this combo, it takes little effort to defend totems with the aura reading of Undying on Killers that can quickly get to the other side of the map...Billy included.
-
It's mainly because of the aura reading of Undying, because people use this on high mobility killers so the instant they see someone breaking the hex, they can just zip over to it and interrupt the cleanse. If they got rid of the aura reading, it wouldn't be so oppressive. Killers like Freddy, Billy and Spirit don't need this much pressure as their kit gives them the mobility to cause enough pressure as is.
-
@Junylar Most Killers have a 32m TR, that's plenty of breathing room to proc BT and keep everyone safe...having more Survivors makes it easier to get gens done.
-
@Trashmaster No, it isn't. Anyone using Insidious is usually gonna camp anyway. I made this thread as a PSA to Survivors, not for you to make dumb, trolly comments.
-
The current meta...for Killers it's always Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer on a high mobility Killer, though effective, it is boring as hell to go against. Really hope the aura reading is removed from Undying soon. For Survivor its DS/UB/Dead Hard or the gen jockey squads with BNP Commodious' with Prove Thyself that powerhump all the gens in 4 minutes for the same reason...boring as hell. For as long as queue times are, you'd think Survivors would wanna have more than a 4 minute match. The game is in a really stale state right now and hope the next chapter really brings in some much needed fresh air.
-
*Laughs in Hag*
-
@Marigoria Like I said, it sucks for the hooked Survivor, but it's really all that can be done. Any true anticamping measure the devs can implement would be abused by swf.
-
As someone who has been the victim of countless blank Bubba stares, it's really the only thing your team CAN do unless they have flashlights and good coordination. I take solace in the fact that they have to employ such a dirty 'tactic' to secure one measly kill and laugh at them for it. Why should the other three Survivors feed these people more points attempting to save me? Most likely the Killer will safety pip if they just ignore the situation and seize the opportunity to gtfo. It sucks for the one on the hook, but it's really the only way to punish these scumbags.
-
Blinding at pallets is really only useful if you have Iron Will...I've lost Killers several times doing this.
-
The only times I suicide is when you get the tryhard Freddy/Legion with Ruin/Undying/Thanatophobia with slowdown addons...sorry, not gonna spend an hour doing gens...next match please.
-
Thry just need to lock everything in once the player hits the 'Find match' button. Not ready? Don't queue up, problem solved.
-
I like to run Fixated and Diversion with Iron Will, that new Elodie perk Deception works pretty well too. Fixated allows you too see what scratch marks she can track and you can manipulate them to mess with her. With Diversion, you can wait until you hear her phase and then throw your pebble and quickly walk away with Fixated to a safer hiding spot.
-
Generalizing a character by the player 'at the wheel' is kinda dumb, but hey, you do you
-
I think the teleport and passive sleep timer are the two mains things that need to go. As oppressive as he is in chase, he doesn't need map wide pressure as well. Survivors should only 'sleep' after he hits you, not just get his power for existing...every other Killer has to DO something to obtain their power
-
It'd be nice if they signified in the pre-game lobby who's in a party and who's playing solo. Don't think it'd be too difficult to achieve, but I'm not a programmer. But this way at least Killer would know if they have to deal with comms or not.
