Sony has a built in VC system on Playstation for its players.
I can guarantee you they won't allow any changes to it because of whiny killer mains.

@Tantamountain said:
I'm not sure how much more killer centric this game can get.
Might as well nerf circle of healing and get that killer win rate up towards 100%.
Killer mains will never stop crying until survivors have to start the match on the hook.
Just ignore the killer hive mind on the forums, its mind numbing and you may actually lose IQ points trying to keep up with their mental gymnastics.

Spirit is EZ Mode since the Devs slaughtered Iron Will.

Honestly tunneling as killer isn't fun but it's sometimes necessary. Especially when survivors gen rush.
All you killers using gen rushing as a reason for tunneling/camping, you do realize that is only making the problem worse? Tunneling and camping is not going to allow you to get any pressure on survivors/gens only ensuring that gens get done way too fast.
While I mostly play survivor, I am on your side with the gen rushing. Something should be done.
-
Complaining about a feature that should have been in the game since release 6 years ago?
SMH indeed.

killers average winrate is 20% so yes killers lose 80% of games
Patently false. Where did you get this statistic from?
-
@SmolBlob said:
You don’t need to justify anything within the rules to anyone ever in the first place. Camping two close hooked survivors is just smart.
By smart you mean easy right? Taking the easy route to wins is hardly my definition of smart or respectable.
-
@Warlord1981NL said:
Yes, completely justifiable. No question about it. It pretty much guarantees a win and if they mess up that badly then that is what you should do. It is your job as the killer.
Its a game not your "job". Big difference.

@WesCravenFan said:
Because Survivors are obsessed with "counterplay" and they want to be able to just press a button to dodge it the way you can crouch a Huntress. Since he has a barrage of knives, they have to break line of sight. And they don't like that.
You generalize way too much my friend.

- Game rules are in survivor's favor, example: Pulling down a pallet is faster than stabbing...
- Maps are all in survivor's favor, the degree to which varies but they are all in survivor favor
- Survivors get map choice as they can stack the choice
- Survivor's have by far the strongest perks, it's not even close
- Survivors can stack add-ons
- Survivors can stack perks
- Killers apparantly need a small vacay after swinging at a survivor
- Flashlight is better than any killer ability
- BHVR caters survivor's every whim
- Killers haven't gotten a good perk in god knows how long
Just 10 things of the top of my head...
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. This is a take. Im gonna assume you're being a troll.

Someone doesn't play survivor.

Those your own drawings? Love them, share them more please.

And the people who have been here supporting the game? Get what...nothing? Yes, its awesome.

Hiding and refusing to repair or do anything to progress the game is different from something like hiding when killer comes around. The first is against the rules because you literally are refusing to participate in normal gameplay. The second is not.
What are you talking about "refusing to participate in normal gameplay"? And who defines this? If there's one or two people left they're not obligated to sit on the gens just so they're "participating" in the match the way you want. I highly doubt BHVR is going to start punishing people in the ridiculous way you're suggesting. Make arguments effective with logic, not Hyperbole.

Distilled entitlement. Tell me another PvP game where my objective is to make sure the opponent has fun?
Let me see.....oh yeah none of them. CoD, League, Apex, etc the primary goal of the game is to make sure the opponent plays as little as possible and you limit their game experience to sitting at the respawn screen. I have not, and will not, get why this game is any different.
Have you tried Minecraft? Maybe a cooperative game? I really think a game where the subject matter is a supernatural killer sacrificing people to the dark gods isn't for you
Ironic the guy crying about entitlement makes a post about killer entitlement.
*Golf clap*

This. It's not that strong. Survivors just miss the days of the game being so easy you could troll with no fear in front of the killer with old Dead Hard, Iron Will, and DS and still have time to do all the gens and teabag at the exit gates in the killer's face
Yes. Its most definitely %100 just this.
😂
-
Well thanks for pointing out the fact that survivors should just play how they want too. How is anyone supposed to know the "Official Killer trigger rules" for each individual killer? The fact is people do it because its easy and effective. Lets just leave it there.

I'm starting to not see the value in the 4% attempt. At this point it is just an excuse to get around the DC timer. If you have deliverance it can just I've you an activation prompt.
Thats not your decision to decide for everyone else however.

@Tostapane said:
did you ask to yourself why those things are so common? i'll tell you why since i'm slowly becoming (not yet but soon probably i'll play only in that way) one of these killers: WE ARE TIRED. Tired to be disrespected by people despite we play "fair", tired of being trashtalked regardless how a match will go, tired to see survivors complain about tunneling and camping when they are the main reason why those killer do those tactics (optimal and unfun gameplay such as pushing generators even when injured or bodyblocking and sabo the hooks when a killer is trying to hook someone, map offerings, busted items/addons/perks, being toxic for no reason or because you know to be in a ultra safe part of the map), tired of all 2nd chances that survivors got overall speaking. These are some reasons why killer players are doing those things. Clearly there are people who actually enjoy playing in that way, but those types of players are extremely rare.
Take it easy Francis.
Im just waiting for the people who inevitably show up and start calling playing killer "their job".

Lol please stop with the gaslighting. Solo queue can indeed often be an annoying experience, but killer will always be the more stressful role in this game. It’s laughable that people still try and argue this.
That is your opinion, it doesn't make it fact. Ironic you bring up "gaslighting" in your response.
-
@NewPlayer100102 said:
Body blocking on the unhook encourages me to tunnel. Thats really the only thing that does it.
Here is a novel idea. Move away from the hook and actually allow survivors a chance to play the game. If you weren't camping the hook you wouldn't get body blocked during unhooks. 😕

Wait until people figure out potential energy is a good perk and you can stack it and delete the 5th gen in like 15 seconds.
And you can also lose all that energy and time you spent doing it if you get hit. Trash perk.
-
Let's just squash the survivor conspiracy theories involving bringing maps and "tactical advantage" right here. Yes the RNG on maps is terrible, for both sides. When me and my friends bring a map offering its so we don't get Auto haven/MacMillian for the millionth time. BHVR's random map selection logarithm seems to be horribly broken and has been for years.
You can also bring in a green offering that kills any map offerings brought in by other players if it bothers you that much.

No

6 + years and not a different mode or change of pace. That speaks for itself.

Its hot trash. You lose all the "energy" you have stored if the killer hits you. Waste of a valuable slot.

There's a lot of resentment towards skilled play in the community. Playing smart on killer is referred to as "tunneling" or "camping". A lot of players lose their minds when killers play smart and don't feed a free 4 man escape.
Hate to bust your bubble chief but good killers don't tunnel or camp. Ive gotten destroyed by really good killers who methodically eliminated the entire team without doing either. If you think tunneling and camping make you good, you are mistaken.
-
Nothing to see here. Just BHVR being BHVR.
-
Hard no. If this comes to DBD I will delete this mess of a game and never look back.
-
A bridge somewhere is missing its Troll.
😕

@lemonsway said:
That happens because the game doesn't require anything from survivors. Until the game starts demanding something from survivors and only the decent to good and great players remain then will you see a healthy survivor playerbase.
The game is made for the Casuals who come here and want to use a Horror Action Game as a CHILL MOMENT.
DBD ISN'T CHILL and it SHOULD NEVER BE CHILL.
DBD SHOULD NEVER BE FOR CASUALS.
The problem with the Modern World is EVERYTHING IS FREE AND EASY FOR EVERYONE. EVERYONE THINKS THEY'RE ENTITLED TO SOMETHING.
THE YOUNG GENERATION DOESN'T KNOW ######### ABOUT LIFE AND GET EVERYTHING EASY.
Worse part is BHVR only cares about those people because those people will give them money. But guess what, if DbD is existing today is because of the ones that endured all the BS until now and not because you made CASUALS PLAY THE GAME. There would be no GAME FOR THE CASUALS if the same people day in and day out didn't play the game for years.
That's what CASUALS don't understand when veterans complain about the game. They've been there and they've played it, they already know what the issue is but MONEY talks and CASUALS SPEND ALOT OF MONEY.
2021 First Resident Evil Chapter, the gamegot it's highest peak of players on STEAM, 100k players on STEAM. But what happened after!?
The exact same thing that happens all the time, the game lost 60 to 70k players since then, meaning the CASUALS CAME, BHVR GOT THE MONEY and then CASUALS LEFT and here we are again in the same loop...
This happens every year...The same people that carried the game until 2021 are carrying the game through now after the CASUALS LEFT.
CASUALS = MONEY
VETERANS = GAME EXISTS
Nice manifesto. Its not accurate, but whatever makes you feel better.

I am chill AF as killer just to try and combat all the sweaty try hards who play killer. Not everyone who plays DBD wants to face killers who will do anything and everything to ensure their precious 4k (yes I am looking at you tunneling/camping/slugging muppets).

Competitive advantage? Its a silly Snowman event. 😂

@Sava18 said:
I mean last year it was funny for 2 days and then survivors were just using them as health states, that gets old real quick.
Lighten up Francis.

My take on gen tapping is hold overs from the old hex ruins mechanic, to avoid the hard skill check. When I see survivors doing it now I just assume they lack confidence in hitting sill checks in stressful situations. I really feel like individual odd behaviors (like gen tapping) is more of personal hang ups with survivors and less of people trying to circumvent any mechanics.
-
The killer echo chamber in these forums is mind-numbing. What exactly is it that survivors can do to killers that singles them out and effectively removes them from the game? Patiently awaiting the mental gymnastics or rehashing for the tenth millionth time BHVR's stale "LEGITIMATE STRATEGY" drivel.
-
@Phasmamain said:
My vote went to deep rock galactic. That game really deserves it tbh
Dbd has done great recently but this chapter kinda sours the rest of a great year
I downloaded this game recently but deleted it after a match or two out of frustration with confusion as to where I was supposed to do next and what role the camp plays in the overall scheme of the game. I might have to give it another shot, Ive seen a lot of praise for it on other gaming sites.
-
Sure if you think getting tunneled/camped/slugged almost every match is fun. This game is getting more and more stale as time goes on.
-
I only bought this skin so I can get tunneled/face-camped more than I already do. Im at about 80-85% , would like to get it up into the mid to high 90s.
-
Just more hand holding for BHVR and their precious killers.
-
Killers love to pretend they actually leave the hook when the reality is most of them just go far enough to entice people to go for the unhook and immediately rush /teleport back for the easy downs. Sadly this pathetic tactic results in majority of my actual hooks.

@Grigerbest said:
No, I still don't want some random guy from a lobby decide on which map I will play.
Let the RNG decide.
No. I am so sick of playing Auto-Haven or Macmillian for the millionth time due to BHVR's broke "random" map selector.
-
Seriously? I do 360's in a desperate attempt to keep from getting hit by the killer and now its taken as some personal slight?
Just wow.
-
Killer = EZ Mode.
-
@Weasdat said:
Watch any video of tournament nurses. They still camp. It's the best strategy in the game. Tunnel and or camp someone out of the game then play the 3 gen 3v1.
"Good players don't camp" is the biggest scam you've been sold about this game.
Gaslight much? I have gotten absolutely wrecked by killers who never camped/tunneled/slugged anyone.
Skill issue. Get good.
-
From my understanding of the lore, DBD matches the place In a alternate universe/reality and its kind of like the movie "Groundhogs Day" where matches keep repeating themselves in a endless cycle of despair and false sense of hope knowing even if you escape the match you're only going to be thrown in another one with a different killer/map and on and on......
Then again, this may be totally wrong and just something I like to believe because I like the concept of it.
-
Just accept the fact that most killers are sweaty try hards who treat every game like its game 7 of the DBD World Championship and is going to use every dirty trick in the book to get their coveted 4k.
-
Please share this info with all the killer mains so they can stop tunneling me for wearing these pants.
-
I see the tin foil hat brigade is out in full force today. 😏
