It should indeed count as a secondary Terror Radius, like Freddy's. His Lullaby activates Perks like Stake Out, the Huntress' doesn't.

What Survivors even like less is camping Killers, which is what would happen with such a change to BBQ & Chilli. The aura-reveal gives Killers and incentive to not camp and go away from the Hook, something Survivors don't seem to realise enough.
Also, any Survivor complaining about that Perk simply can't be bothered to employ any of the multiple counterplays to it. No need to give in to lazy players.
But by giving in to them, they would get exactly what they deserve: Tons of camping and tunneling killers. They spend so much time, asking for nerfs of BBQ, completely forgetting about it´s benefits.
Not a reason to give in.
Survivors don´t know what they want:
- They want the killer to leave the hook
- They don´t want to get seen by the killers aura reading BBQ.
- They want easy unhooks
But if you don´t give a killer a reason to leave the hook, then he´s not going to do it.
Yes and that's why BBQ is fine the way it is.

All in all, any such discussion is pointless from the start.
The devs have tried two separate anti-camping mechanics in two separate PTBs. Both times, the Survivors abused the mechanics so thoroughly, to both the detriment of the Killer AND the hooked Survivor, that the devs eventually decided to scrap any anti-camping mechanic for good and never implement one ever again.
The devs will only ever give incentives now to leave the Hook (mainly Perks like Pop Goes The Weasel, Devour Hope, Make Your Choice, Barbecue & Chilli) instead of punishments for not doing so.

I only farm when there are 2 survivors on the map (DC), when I hook, I make big signs with my head, then go afk very far away, etc. I know I can win this either way so even if they are afraid, I cary them until gens are powered. Basically I just "play" with them while being sure they don't die in the process.Though I'm not sure how you're supposed to farm, as a killer, in a 4v1. If you play the game like intended you should get a lot of points.
It was a 3v1, that and the BPS Offering might have incentivised him.

I got today quest hit 4 surv by the nurse all game i can't hit no one becose this is way to easy for counter her blinks.Btw i got prestige 3 on my nurse and i play her a lot when he got auto aim after blink now i swing in to air every time becose surv make some crayz 360 or whatewer.
It's obvious that you relied way too much on the auto-aim, which was actually despised by Nurse mains, and now you pay for it.
You need to learn to hit without it now, there's no other way. The Quintessence of becoming a good Nurse is practice, practice and even more practice.
The Nurse should not be made any easier to play. -
Seems you misunderstood. I was repairing the first Generator and started running away when Billy came close to it. He then smacked it once, apparently a good enough signal for him to indicate farming.SaltyKiller said:Jokes on you, I never trust Survivors. That's quite fair enough if the Killer obviously signals that he wants to farm. That Hillbilly though didn't. He gave one hit to the gen and immediately started up the Chainsaw and tried mowing me down, he then also camped the Hook with an armed Chainsaw.Mringasa said:Hooking is part of farming though. Both sides get points from the Event - The Killer obviously gets his down and hook points, the Survivors get their Altruism from unhooks + healing. It has to work both ways. Hooks are the best scoring event a Killer has, if I'm not mistaken. BBQ as well. 4 stacks of BBQ + Streamers + Farming = OoOOOOooo Yeah!
In the farming matches I've taken place in, on both sides btw, the Killer got 8 hooks, and on at least two occasions someone offered themselves up for the kill as a means of thanking the Killer for the easy match. I've done this once myself as well. Farm matches are very rare, and you need to get the most bang for your buck out of them.
Doesn't exactly scream:" Hey y'all, I just want to farm with you, I'm friendly!" now, does it?
He didn't make it clear at all, it all looked rather hostile and like a normal game. As I said before, I and probably others are wary of seemingly friendly Killers, too many Killers have tried baiting us in the past. -

The main reason they won't do it anytime soon if ever has been stated multiple times before: it would be a shitload of work for the Art team.
The prestige look is not just an overlay that is slapped onto the default cosmetics of each character, it's its own, unique texture for every cosmetic piece.

How despicable of you

I make that assumption because I've already run into biggs in a previous thread of mine and he behaved just like that. It wouldn't make the assumption if I didn't have a basis for it. Especially since all of a sudden, someone is going through my bug reports and marking them all as spam. Still think I'm wrong with my assumption? I don't think so.
As for the explanation of Claudette's behaviour, I might not have overreacted if it had been written in a different manner. The way it's currently written makes some key assumptions that are blatantly wrong and for which the creator has no basis for as he didn't partake in the game.

No, no, this just pisses me off now.
Claudette was farming with the Clown in the middle of the operation theatre, I had Empathy and saw her injured outline, the Clown kept throwing bottle after bottle after bottle after bottle, each time getting the Intoxication score event while she stood still, then she went to smack all pallets in the vicinity on his head.
When I got closer, she spotted me with her Bond and motioned for the Clown to follow her. She kept following me with the Clown running after her, until he spotted me in the distance, starting the chase. It eventually ended with Claudette waiting atop the closed hatch in the operation theatre, and the clown carrying me into the basement below.
She did not seek help, she sold me out, clearly and without a doubt.
Do not dare ever again assume how a game went if you weren't taking part in it.

What was your point of starting this thread? People are going to comment, and some of them will disagree with you. Relax. Oh, and I can clearly see some of them are just messing around a bit with you, in good spirit, because they find it amusing that you're so worked up over this. And you take the bait. Messing around doesn't make them "vile and despicable". Again, relax.Oh, and I notice all the comments not agreeing with you are flagged as abuse...I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume you flagged them. Why, because they don't agree with you? That's rich, coming from someone who is crying out for fair play and decency.
And as a reply to your original post: stuff like this happens. I have had worse things happen to me in games, multiple times. I get annoyed, then report them and move on. Some people don't play fair. Move on to the next game and try not to let it get to you like this. It seems to me that you're getting a little too worked up over it..
I didn't flag them purely because their comments disagree with me, if that were the case, yours would be flagged too, but it isn't. I don't flag comments without a reason and I do know that people will disagree with me in a discussion, no matter the content.
The reason why I flagged both their comments is because of their continuous attempt in trying to discredit and insult me, based on literally nothing but their own made-up idea of how they think the game must have played out, something they have no basis for since neither of them partook in that game mentioned in my original post.
All they can go off is how I described how the game played out, neither of them has any right in assuming anything otherwise, yet they do, probably just because of a personal dislike of my person as I see no other reason to, clearly shown by only1biggs' attitude towards me.

I like this idea in general. However, unless behavior had full control over the information....they couldn't allow it to be connected to the game in any way. Liability issues and possible confusion would become a problem.
(Example= the dead by daylight wiki shows a picture of "pop goes the weasel" as a "red perk"....which it's currently not.)
The devs were already very nice in linking the Gamepedia Wiki on their new website, I thus don't see any reason why it couldn't be done in-game as well.
As for the information on the Wiki: myself and the other editors try our utmost to only feature correct, accurate and tested information on the Wiki.
As for why Pop Goes The Weasel is a red Perk on the Wiki, that's simply because it would be one if we still had the old Rarity system for Perk. We still use that on the Wiki for two reason: 1) best way to distinguish different Perk tiers if the Perk icons have no tick and also the best way to distinguish between different tiers' descriptions/effects with just one glance. 2) nostalgia
I hope that answered your question.

Obviously you didn't ask yourself why the Nurse and the Hillbilly are the preferred high rank Killers: because the others are not viable up there anymore.
Instead of nerfing Billy and Nurse, it should be the other way round: buff the other Killers to make them viable again.
I also severely doubt that Nurse's Calling alone is responsible for destroying teams, all it shows is where a healing Survivor is, it doesn't harm them. And knowing where someone is doesn't mean that you will actually catch them. If that were the case and your argumentation true, then you'd see Doctors with Restraint Add-ons constantly 4k across all ranks.
Nurse's Calling has an easy counter: don't heal in the Terror Radius, problem solved.

I did some calculations on my own since the linked article lacks them.
For Survivors, buying all Auric-Cell-exclusive cosmetics will cost 15,000 Auric Cells
Buying them through Outfits only will reduce that to 13,500 Auric Cells.
For Killers, buying all Auric-Cell-exclusive cosmetics will cost 11,050 Auric Cells
Buying them through Outfits will reduce that to 7,740 Auric Cells, BUT doesn't include some Weapons that are not in any Outfit, those still add up to 2,050 Auric Cells, totalling at 9,790 for all Killer cosmetics with Outfits.
Making the grand total of Auric-Cell-exclusive cosmetics cost 26,050 Auric Cells or 23,290 Auric Cells when bought with Outfits.
-
@Dragonredking said:
A price tag that high for cosmetic in a paid game is pretty Incredible if you ask me.What should be remembered is that this price also includes all the cosmetics that can be unlocked with Shards. The price for cosmetics that can ONLY be bought with Auric Cells is much lower.

Anything beyond the 2 blinks shouldn't be possible or at least have severe side effects to compensate that. Problem is you can't juke a 3, 4 blink nurse and even new nurses can play well with 2+ blinks since you have 2 blinks for correction. This is coming from a nurse main btw. The other nurse add-ons are fine but the 2+ blinks just need to go.
From one Nurse Main to another, well said.
Only one point I’d argue is 3 Blinks might be alright since the introduction of Dead Hard. Dead Hard counters 2 Blink Nurse to the Extreme. You can’t really bait Dead Hard as a 2 Blink Nurse.
The maximum amount of Blinks that should be allowed is 3, anything above gives bad Nurses too many second chances to correct her crappy initial blinks and makes it nigh impossible to counter good Nurses using them.
All Add-ons that give additional blinks should not be stackable and be upped one Rarity class. In exchange, they could remove the penalty from the then Ultra Rare Campbell's Last Breath.

Here, now stop grasping at straws, Kate is not playing the theme-tune.
I'm sorry, but I fail to see how this shows how she isn't playing the survivor theme. I think you are thinking to much about how Kate was introduced into the game at a later time. This has nothing to do with the lore of the game as it doesn't explain where the music originated lore wise. I'm standing firm in my side of the argument that there is a possibility that Kate is playing the survivor theme music. Your evidence is irrelevant, as it doesn't address the main question of this discussion which is if Kate is playing the survivor theme in the game.
If that's the case, then don't try to use a picture showing the four original Survivors as concepts as "proof" for the argument that Kate's been in the game for much longer than she's actually been.
You're the type that can't handle being proven wrong with facts, you immediately backtracked and now state that the picture and my provided evidence against your initial claim about it actually don't matter at all and should be disregarded.
That kind of behaviour is one that I severely dislike as it shows a lot of dishonesty with me and with yourself.
You've shown yet again that you obviously can't be convinced that Kate hasn't been in the game long enough to be the creator/originator of the Survivor theme song, nevermind that it also doesn't explain where the Killer and the main menu variation originate from.
I won't waste my time with you any longer. Live in your fairy tale world if it makes you happy, I know better.

You never shared any solid evidence that it isn't Kate playing the survivor menu theme. You just tried to debunk it with statements void of any actual fact behind them.
I just shared evidence.
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/File:480X800-Dwight.jpg Concept Dwight
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/File:480X800-Meg.jpg Concept Meg
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/File:480X800-Jake.jpg Concept Jake
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/File:480X800-Claudette.jpg Concept ClaudetteI'm not grasping at straws, as you can plainly see, the four characters in the picture above are our original four Survivors.
Here, now stop grasping at straws, Kate is not playing the theme-tune.

As I said before, you guys are searching validation for something that is not the case. You grasp at straws and that's a mentality I do not support. I won't waste my time with this. But either side could be right here. It's a possibility that the menu music has a connection to Kate, or it could have nothing to do with her. The only way we could ever know is if the devs answered the question but I have a feeling that they wouldn't be very helpful as the majority of their answers regarding lore are "maybe" or "i don't want to talk about that". So I'm just going to leave it at there's a possibility that Kate is playing the survivor menu theme but at the moment we don't have anything confirming or denying this.
No proof? I just told you that the guy carrying the med-kit looks exactly like an early Dwight-concept, with the others very likely being Alpha Meg, Jake and Claudette. The girl you refer to as resembling Kate is actually an early concept of Meg: https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/File:480X800-Meg.jpg
