Killers have such an advantage all it takes is a little awareness and a little competence. Get good man. Stuns from missed attacks aren’t even that bad 😂 put on unrelenting then. I do agree on #7 though. We shouldn’t need a vigos shroud to be as far away from killer as possible. Even then it doesn’t feel like enough. Killers can down and kill ppl too easily imo. Teammates get mad at ppl for looting chests or breaking totems when they shouldn’t be. That just tells you the pace of the game is too fast I can’t even do the things that the game puts in there for me? Pssshh.
You must've misunderstood the 1st point. It's not about me missing the attack. The attack would've landed. My point is that even with them fully out of the locker and standing there with the locker closed, I still get stunned from Head-on?

If all the omega blink abusers are why her play rate is down then why foes her kill rate stay bottom then?
According to this Article posted by the Devs, it actually does and doesn't stay at the bottom.

Stats are back at last! We've taken some time to gather some data and make some fancy graphs for your viewing pleasure. Be sure to let us know if you'd like to see more regular stat releases in the future! Since it has been a while since we last shared stats, these graphs show data from the past three months unless otherwise stated. Please keep in mind that numbers are not everything; there are a whole bunch of factors that could influence these numbers.
Note: If you're having trouble viewing the charts, clicking on them will open a larger version.
Killer power vs. popularity
Starting off with how frequently killers are played compared to how well they tend to do on average. A 50% kill rate would be the equivalent of two survivors dying and two survivors escaping.

Maps
We went ahead and checked which three maps are safest and which three are the most dangerous.

Mid-chapter 3.3.0: Outcome
The Nurse was changed in the last mid-chapter patch, and we've been keeping an eye on her performance since then. Below, we've listed her performance on PC before and after the changes, both in all ranks and in red ranks. Like the charts above, the numbers shown here are her kill rates (where 50% means two survivors escape and two die).
Now look at this logically. If you notice on the first chart (All Ranks), you notice that she is the absolute lowest and weakest killer in terms of kill rate (below 50%). Yet on the second chart (Red Rank), she is significantly boosted to a 65% kill rate with her pick rate being slightly higher as well, higher than both clown and demo and on par with Huntress. Now why is there such a drastic different in those numbers?
Well because new players who come into the game at low ranks try her out. And they quickly realize she is no easy killer to handle due to her very steep learning curve. They are quicker to play clown or demo or huntress who if nothing else can resort to being M1 killers if they suck at using their power. But at Red Ranks where players know how to play her, can get the average kill rate (2-3k) at the same level as a skilled Huntress? That is incredible. But people don't like playing the Nurse again because it still takes skill, so you see very few people play nurse these days. I think most of my survivor games, I see 1-2 nurses out of like 50 games?

... You need better friends.
On topic, I don't think there is any one killer that is universally liked. There don't seem to be many people that have it out for Demogorgon or Pig, but there's always an exception to every rule.
No one has it out for them though because they usually have the lowest kill rate. Hell I hardly see them played but when I do, they're either really really good or just mediocre at at.

I just believe your lying because you literally copy and paste any old argument with 0 evidence to support otherwise..and all the other guy did was recite stats on her blinks that everyone knows..but numbers arnt everything , because there are way too many variables that throw the argument to the way side..also it takes nurse more than 2 seconds to charge a blink much less get there so your already spreading misinformation once again..I think nothing good will come from indulging this anymore
Because all the old arguments are still valid against yours. Even with Numbers, stats, and experiences from multiple players, you haven't offered ANYTHING to this discussion aside from refuting everything we say with no counter evidence such as numbers, states, and experience aside from the fact that a small community complains about nurse. And again, I'm not saying that community is wrong in their complaints, there are some valid complaints towards the nurse that needs to be addressed. And no, it doesn't. It takes 3 FULL Seconds to charge your first blink, and another 2 full seconds for your secondary blink. Now based on the ground being covered in that short time, is a lot faster overall than the average 115% killer walking that distance.
If you don't want to indulge in this, then spread some hard factual information on why you think she needs a rework and not based on your opinion.

Never said a rework..just a removal of a bad change..and I'd like to meet anyone who really plays nurse who enjoys her..survivor opinion is irrelevant as it doesnt effect them any but most people I've ever asked say it was a bad change, including actual nurse players and not the omega blink kind .and so I know for a fact your talking hot air now..because I've seen plenty of posts begging for that aweful cooldown to be taken back and no posts talking about how great her change was..good day
You're grasping at straws now and still refuse to adhere to someone else's counter argument, even when Doddle28 provided you examples AND sources. Yes, any killer that gets a change, you're going to have a group of people saying they want the old nurse back. Hell when Freddy got his rework, people complained and wanted the old Freddy back, even though the new one is objectively stronger than any other Killer in this game at the current moment (including Nurse in my opinion but that's based on Freddy can shutdown chases and maintain map pressure at the same time where as Nurse can only shutdown chases).
Now let's talk about guessing and predictions as a Nurse. Yes, any good and knowledgeable Survivor going against a Nurse knows that the best way to counter a nurse is to juke and run around obstacles, feigning their direction. You make the wrong choice, the chase continues because you wrongly guessed where they were running. So what? Spirit has go through the same thing when she Phases. And honestly for Nurse who can blink THROUGH OBSTACLES, that's a fair trade off. That requires you as a Nurse to get better and out-smart the survivors.
Now I'm not going to lie, idk what CD means in terms of Nurse. However going off context clues, the fatigue of a blink is manageable even under the worst circumstances if you use it right. Covering a distance of 20/32m in the span of 2 seconds is a hell of deal and worth the fatigue because it's similar if not more so on par with a regular killer walking the map. You lose the same amount of time if not less. Also, what slow down perks are being targeted? Because I'm just full of hot air apparently so I don't know.
Lastly (until you make another snide comment instead of just having a genuine discussion): I'm not saying Nurse doesn't need some fixes. Yes there are some slight issues but it's nothing game break and it's nothing that makes her as worthless as say Clown or Bubba. She's still a viable killer that just had a steep learning curve no different than Huntress, Oni, Spirit, etc. people need to learn how to adapt because as of right now, I just got 5 games in a row with a 4k as a Rank 1 on PC. No bots as you claim. And I'm a "Seasoned" player who is completely new to Nurse. If I'm able to do it, anybody can.

Ah yes, have someone disagree with you and you immediately shut them down and tell them they are "talking nonsense".
You've stated nothing factual of WHY she needs to be fixed. Most of the community enjoys where she's at minus the few individuals. Is she bugged? To a degree yes and everyone can agree on that that. But too the point she needs a rework? Nah.

I have no idea what you're not talking. Only bots I've ever seen was on the PS4. I've played PC and logged over a thousand hours and have not met a bot once during my time playing. Even good players struggle against her, you just have to play her right.
-
Nurse is honestly not in a bad spot. I just picked her up to expand my killer playlist and she's a beast. I'm Rank 1 and by the 2nd match, I had my adept achievement fulfilled. Only "lost" 2 matches and that still ended with me getting a 2k.
Granted, I think it's because she's so rare to see that people don't know how to properly counter her.
-
Need to stop making games strictly online. Predator: Concrete Jungle was good back in the day, but now you require internet to play anything fun.
-
It's possible, just takes time. I've got it at "The Game" Map because I put it at doorways since it is mostly hidden under the frame of the doorway. The point of the challenge isn't to immediately get it after one match. It's supposed to take time and effort because it gets you to focus on the game more and have a goal in mind. I beat most of my challenges in a couple of matches but that's because I sunk a LOT of hours into this game.

-
I don't understand the problem with the key everyone has. Hatches don't spawn until the required amount of Gens are done based on the total number of survivors left alive. If you as a killer haven't killed ANYONE by the time the 5th Gen pops off, do you really think you have a chance to kill anyone beyond 1 person you got by NOED or camping? Them escaping through the hatch is the equivalent of someone leading you in a chase while the others open the gate. You're not gonna get them all.

If a survivor kills themselves early on, then the game is going to be impossible or extremely difficult for the rest of the survivors.
Once again, I'll ask, why are survivors allowed to leave the game and screw everyone else over without any punishment, but should the killer go AFK, they're doing something against game mechanics?
Survivor favoured tbh
Because a survivor dying on the first hook isn't against game mechanics. Also, as long as a Killer doesn't go AFK or sandbag, you can do anything that is within the bounds of what the game allows. I've even seen a forum post about different ways to meme killers like guarding chests in the basement or guarding a specific house, etc etc. All these ridiculous ways to be goofy in game and guess what:
**The Devs accepted ALL answers**
I'd find the post but it's a week old and now lost in the sauce.
-
@OtakuFreak said:
If survivors are allowed to have a method to leave the game without being punished, then where is the option for killers?
Because one option is just someone who is salty and makes it harder for others and the other is a literal game ending option.
-
It's not considered as an exploit nor should it. However the person who does hook suicide is considered an #########.
-
NOED is fair. And you shouldn't be notified immediately when it activates. You don't get notified of Ruin, Devour Hope, or the Third Seal until you trigger its effect. Yes, Huntresses Lullaby is an exception but I also believe it shouldn't notify until you conduct a skill check after the first hook. Or at the very least, conduct A skillcheck.
-
Sadly 1. Hate being in the Red Ranks as both survivor and killer. Everyone is toxic. Even if you weren't red rank, you're bound to go up against a red rank.
-
Boring to play as because he is easy to pick up. People claim he's boring to play against but I think it's just because people have a very hard time winning against him. Why's he boring? Because of his snares/dream pallets? Okay, sure. Does that mean Clown, Trapper, and Hag are boring too because of their area controlled powers? One of which literally has to rely on the nearest trap to pick up so he's essentially an M1 killer without his trap. People don't have as much of a problem with Killers like Demo, Oni, and Hillbilly because you have the ability to juke those killers from hitting you with their Power.
-
Baby Killer is (In High Ranks):
1.) A killer who went up against a group of Survivors and failed to kill someone who is highly toxic, is also prone to saying things like "EZ", "UmAd?", and other belittling things to you as a Killer.
2.) A killer who went up against a group of Survivors and actually destroyed the entire team (or a 3k) who still has at least 1 toxic survivor. Proceeds to belittle you in anyway possible based on your play style, Killer, perks, or all 3.

game shouldnt take 20 minutes also, 7-10 minutes games are pretty much enough, move on get into another game, if gens get rushed means you didnt apply enough map pressure, if that happened because one survivor looped you well then you deserve the de-pip to get back to ranks that you can play against until you get better and move forward in ranks!
There are times where strategy and new developments in the match calls for camping. And I never de-pip for it if I DO end up camping as a Rank 1 sooo....
-
@Pok said:
I feel like half of the totems are in good spots, and half are in open spots. But anyway sometimes as a survivors I run past a totem 10 times before seeing it and sometimes I just find it well hidden in a bush in the first minutes of the game so I think some placements should be reworked, but it will always be impossible to make it consistent.
Maybe a perk that blocks totems for the beginning?
I've had it where Haunted Ground was completely hidden. It's random.
-
- New Ruin is better than Old ruin, Killers just don't know how to adjust and adapt with perk synergy. (Like have you tried Ruin/Surveillance? That combo/wombo is just amazing)
- Killers that are deemed 'Brain dead' (Ie Freddy, Spirit, Hill Billy, etc.) actually do require skill. Survivors just hate going against them because they are much harder to survive against and refuse to adapt to the game play given. Some would rather deal with a Clown, Demo, or Trapper if it means most Killers would suck playing as them.
- Keys and Moris are fine. People just don't like to be beaten so quickly or giving the opponent a possible win.
- SWF's is fine, but they need to do something to benefit the Solo's too.
- Any tactic used by killer that doesn't follow the "Survivor Handbook of how Killers should Play" is fine and acceptable. Slugging is okay, tunneling is okay, and camping is okay. If people can hop in a locker mid chase to avoid a hit/force killers to get their DS off, immediately unhook a survivor soon as the killer turns away, or a survivor get's unhooked to immediately go do something in the immediate area other than escape the vicinity of the killer, then the killer's tactics are acceptable. They may not be well like, but it's a strategy that either makes you lose or gives you an advantage.
- DC bans are acceptable. Why should both Survivors and Killers suffer because someone didn't get what they wanted in the match and decide to screw everyone else over?
- Gen rushing is a problem, but not to the degree everyone makes it out to be. Even on my best Killer as a Rank 1 with it's Meta Perks against good Survivors, I'm always down to 2-3 Gens by the third hook. I still mostly come out on top with a 4k by the time they have 1 Gen left. And if it's not a 4k, it's def a 2k.
- NOED is a fine perk, the Survivors that complain just hate having to do more than work on Gens in matches because they want to be in and out quickly. NOED does not reward bad killers, and I've seen plenty of amazing killers who had the perk but never needed it because everyone gets massacred before the final Gen is done.
- As of right now, there is nothing wrong with the Survivor perks like DS, BT, Unbreakable, etc. Can it be abused by toxic Survivors? Of course. But it can't be abused anymore than a Face camping Bubba using Insidious. Learn how to play against it and win.
- Iri Axe head add-on that is used by the Huntress is fine. I don't know why people complain about. I've hardly seen it used and when I have, it's usually easy to avoid unless you let the killer get right up on you. It's no different than getting mowed down by a chainsaw, a pissed off Oni, Myers, etc. Almost every killer has some form of insta-down.
-
@LetsPlayTogether said:
Cause those players are too bad to play killers that need actual skill.
Ah yes, people who play killers should ONLY use hard to play/weak killers because that'll give the survivors a better chance to survive. I can't tell you the amount of times I've seen people DC or hook suicide when facing a Freddy. Even if it wasn't a forever Freddy and the player was actually legit (not tunneling, camping, let's you get 3 hooks, essentially playing by the invisible survivor handbook of how killers should play), he was still berated and treated like trash because he got a 4k as Freddy. Mind you, that's just Freddy. This doesn't account for the same crap I've seen in Spirit, HillBilly, Huntress, Death Slinger, Bubba, damn near every killer EXCEPT Trapper, Demo, Clown because their powers are damn near worthless if not used correctly.
-
Not even going to bother reading the entirety of what you just wrote honestly, too much for me. Yes, Gen rushing is a thing. No, it's not the players mentality. I say this as a Killer main who plays Killer all day, everyday. To "win" the game, survivors must escape. They complete the appropriate number of gens needed to escape through the gates or hatch. That is it, nothing else to it. To get MORE points, survivors must conduct acts of boldness, altruism, and survival. Stuff that ISN'T mandatory but is highly encouraged. The more you put in, the more you get out. Yes, in a perfect game, I would love it if Survivors actually did EVERYTHING while in the match. Breaking totems, Searching Chests, healing other players, etc. This prolongs the game and gives me a chance to enjoy myself and possibly win.
It's not a mentality, it's how the game was designed.
-

You could just appoach survivors while hiding and avoid those unnecessary changes.

Then use somebody else. He’s obviously not your guy 😂 I feel as though there are frustrating killers to go against it goes both ways. Especially dependent on the killer players playstyle. Nobody Pips when you face camp and tunnel. What kind of game is that for survivors? Imo killers need a impactful slowdown for Missed attacks or general mobility if they have abilities that let them do ranged attacks or extensive lunge attacks on survivors. Why don’t they just hand killers an AK47 or a mini gun? There ya go. Problem solved
That's not the answer. Using that logic, you end up wasting money on characters that have potential are just weak due to many factors. Look at Legion, Clown, Plague, and MAYBE DeathSlinger. How often do you really see those characters at say Rank 1? Never seen clown up there, Plague I prob see 1 every 50 matches? Legion is like 1 every 15-20. DeathSlinger is still around because he's relatively new. I don't see much of a problem with him, but disregarding any problem at all and just choosing to use someone else is a bad mindset. All killers should be balanced and equal to some regard.
-
Never cared for pop, too singular. I run Ruin/Surveillance, now that crap is a dream.
-
Idk what you're trying to go for here. You've been given clear and concise answers that there are NO unbeatable builds due to XYZ but then you want to disregard those reasons. IF we disregarded anything and everything that could possibly hinder a killer, than yeah, every build would be an unbeatable build because there would be absolutely nothing at all from a killer getting 4k 100% of the time.
Reasons why unbeatable builds don't exists:
- The type of Map. Every map makes both killer and survivors strategize differently in an effort to win. A strategy that would work in Lery's Asylum wouldn't work in Haddonfield.
- The type of Killer. Every killer has a unique and specific power that both complement perks and are useless or would hinder their abilities. Having Coulrophobia and Thana would make sense for Oni but wouldn't make sense for Billy.
- Player's skill and items on both sides. Don't even need to elaborate on this.

did i say "useless" ? no i didnt i said barely useful they still have value not just enough value to be consider so OP that they need to be lost
most of the pink addons of survivors items are some of the worst addons since their nerfs even if i didnt lost them i wouldnt take them , i am more mad when i loose my green addons for medkit than any pink useless addons
skeleton keys are not even good there is no diff between them and purple keys and keys in general are bad most of the time to use them you already won the game or loose horribly in a way that shouldnt be possible and you'll still need to find the closed hatch what isnt easy
why can't survivors keep their addons if they do well hein ?
btw that isnt true most items outside of keys are even more bad than normal without addons i rather keep my green addons than my item , map are worthless , medkit can only heal you once without addons what is nothing , toolbox run out even faster and flashlight even with addons i barely notice a diff
why i should waste a perk slot for an almost irrelevant perk that is only good if you run other synergy perks with it to be able to keep my addons
and also you miss the entire point if at leats it was as easy for survivor as it is for killer to obtain their addons why not , but survivors have a 5 time harder time to get addons compare to killer
No, your first sentence clearly said useless, "Survivors have 5 time more add-ons than killer 90 % of them being useless..."
Now I can agree to a certain point on what you mean. But try looking at it from a different angle. Survivors have no specific power. Their items and add-ons can be used by ANY survivor. Yes, you may be looking for a specific item right now, but that doesn't mean those "useless" items won't be used at a later time. But killers have unique powers with specific add-ons; no one wants to play the same killer every single match. Son in that regard, they have to spend their BP wisely because they want to try different killers based on different play styles. But with one survivor, if you give it all the perks, you never have to trade it out. So you'll always have a plentiful supply of add-ons for future games that you can immediately adjust your play style to.
One other counterpoint to consider is that killers have useless add-ons too that are just as common to get in the BP when compared to a survivor. Like Bubba having an add-on for his chainsaw that doesn't instadown people or Freddy's snares being essentially useless. How often do you see those add-ons being used and how much of those add-ons do you think they have?
-
Played against an entire Rank 1 match of SWF, all had tool boxes designed to immediately take down hooks and the exact same perks that countered slugging and camping. All 4 still alive, 2 of which who were being toxic, when the very last Gen popped. Got too cocky and got wrecked, they were expecting me to pick them up and hook them. I just sat there and let them all bleed out for 2-4 minutes instead.
-
@Deathslinger said:
I think it’s with the mindset of just booting up the game for the first time. Killers with insta down abilities are usually referred Easy. M1 killers are intermediate and any killers with difficult to understand abilities are Hard. If I just booted the game and picked Doctor then I’d prolly be confused and upset that hitting them with my power does nothing (from a noob perspective) but using a chainsaw is simple to understand.
Meyers, GhostFace, Onio have insta down abilities yet they're considered hard. Even though Oni is essentially a Billy but only requires injuries from Survivors. Freddy's ability is prob the easiest to work with and not all that complicated. But if you tried playing Legion, Demo, or Plague, you'll have the hardest of times.

Respectfully, I call bull. You have an ingame option to report players who are trolling- which is what this killer(s) were doing. IDC if a killer slugs, that a viable tactic- I'm not reporting for that, and neither should anyone.
What I will report is when the killer downs everyone and never hooks a survivor. Even if we all bleed out and give the killer their victory, if they proceed to taunt and show that they're doing it on purpose- that they're not some noob that doesn't know the game- then I'm reporting that. If you're saying I'm 'wasting the time of people who have to deal with these reports', maybe reevaluate what your rules say is and isn't allowed.

Letting the survivor bleed out gives you zero points in devout, so no, atleast according to the emblems it is not the killers goal to slug all survivor to death, it's to hook or mori them.
Also Healsbadman said, that the killer did it to troll (obviously we have only his word for it) and trolling the other side should never be the goal for somebody in this game, it is already toxic enough.
Of course it is wrong to report it, but I can't understand why people seem to have trouble to get why it's a frustrating method, expecially for new players.
(To add, killer at low ranks, who are matched against actual low rank survivors shouldn't need such an excessive slugging to win)
If you didn't have the ability to bleed out, it wouldn't be an option of Death. Nothing says you have to be hooked. It's apart of the game yes, but it's optional. That's like reporting someone because they never once broke Gens and only chased survivors, even though they're supposed to ensure Gens don't pop by damaging them. Or a Survivor getting reported for 'trolling' because he didn't perform any Altruistic actions all game to his teammates, even though there are perks literally for solo survivors that only care about themselves.
-
It's much worse when you're red rank.
