Survivors—ENOUGH WITH THE DS UB DEAD HARD ALREADY
See, I can do it too.
-
For the exact same reason everyone hated old Legion, except now he has a gun.
-
Legion: Double duration, only good addons he has.
PH: None of his addons are good. Range and Iridescent Seal of Metatron are the only addons he has that actually do anything at all.
Demogorgon: You already know.
Oni: If you struggle to land Demon Strikes, Lion Fang + Splintered Hull. If you don't, Tear Soaked Tenugui + Ink Lion. Speed addons are okay, but can make him harder to control. Ink Lion + Cracked Sakzuki are great if you're constantly moving in and out of Blood Fury. Splintered Hull + Wooden Oni Mask are good if you struggle to M1 healthy Survivors, as well as Shattered Wakizashi.
Blight: Alchemist's Ring. Literally anything with Alchemist's Ring. He's the one Killer who has almost nothing but really good addons, but Alchemist's Ring is just... it's so busted, dude. The best addons to run with Ring would be Blighted Rat/Crow, the event serum, or a turning addon. Aside from Ring, double turning, event serum + Shredded Notes, Shredded Notes + Iridescent Blight Tag, and Notes + Compund 33 are good. The last one is especially good with Enduring since it affects the stun when Rushing a pallet with 33.

Lately?

More engaging than small pp dead soul hard, that's for sure.

My favorites are Blight, Oni, Demogorgon, and Pyramid Heads who DON'T ZONE. Even though people who are good with these Killers are downright unbeatable (specifically Blight and PH), at the very least, I feel outplayed when they down me because of how hard these Killers are to play well. Not to mention, they all encourage you to extend a chase in ways other than just braindead looping (and in Blight's and Oni's case, ez pz W keying), since they all have a chase power that allows them to get really gnarly hits that no M1 Killer could ever hope to achieve. Not to mention, they all have some really nifty custom Terror Radius music, so that also lends a major hand to it.
My least favorite depends since there's Killers who are unfun to fight and Killer players who are unfun to fight. I have very little fun going against Trapper, Slinger, Freddy, and Clown in terms of their power not being fun to go against since none of them are lacking in either intuitive counterplay or fairness, while Doctor, Myers, and Wraith players are unfun to fight because of how insanely sweaty they are, like a weather spirit came down and said if they don't win this match, a tornado will hit their house.
I'd say the most unfun Killers to fight are the ones with both poorly-made powers and sweaty players behind the screen, so by that logic my least favorite Killers to fight would be Slinger, Doctor, Spirit, and Freddy. If you play any of those Killers, I am wholly convinced you are the type of person that makes DBD's community an absolute cesspit. Please uninstall for the good of humanity.

@That1name thanks, but what do you mean with "he isn't very rude when he comments on people"? :(
Thanks @MusicNerd_TC and @Boosted_Dwight ❤
I don't really have any favourites to be honest.
@Aven_Fallen ,@GoodBoy ,@Buttercake ,@Boss
@Boosted_Dwight,@TheClownIsKing ,@Demogordon_Ramsay ,@MadLordJack,@Orion
Those are the only ones that i can name at the top of my head. You guys are great :)
But there are definetely even more forum members i appreciate.I absolutely love this game and i love to interact and discuss with all of you.
It's always a pleasure ❤
Why am I not despised by everyone on the forums? That's illegal.
(seriously what did i do to earn that favour)

Some bugs are better than others!
Also, another one. Survivors who mend someone else don't have an animation, they just stand there.
Same goes for waking up.

You should try the new event add-on on him + an add on that increases stalking speed, really fun.
Or I could just do that with Ghostface.

*Why play Myers when you can play Blight?
Why play anyone when you can play Blight?

Why play Myers when Ghostface is better in every way?

Lol so I guess we're not gonna talk about the badham shack being broken ? It's got an invisible door on the side with no window and you can run right through
Oh, yeah, forgot about being able to phase through the Badham shack.

Bushes spawn in the fence gaps on Haddonfield, walling off entire areas and making certain tiles intraversible.
I've seen this one. It costed me the only kill of the game as well 🤣
@XombieRocker said:
I was wondering about Haddonfield. Played a match there earlier, and I was like, "Were these bushes always here?"
Got me a couple free hits though when survivors got trapped by them though!😆
Update: According to my friend, a new bug has arrived.
The bloodpoint cap is gone.
-
Survivor, Blood Pact. Excellent for solo queue which is where I mostly play, but the recent buff has also made it S++ tier in SWF since you can be relatively close to your friend the obsession and hardcore W key most Killers, especially 110 ones.
Killer, STBFL. It just feels nice I guess.
-
I was expecting something, anything, to happen. After all, if something unimportant were happening, they wouldn't have teased it, right?
I was figuring an announcement related to Demo or Stranger Things. Maybe a new Demo skin (please), Demo changes (Oh baby please), a Robin legendary skin for Nancy (PLEASE GOD YES), and what did we get?
We got a livestream of people who play Dead By Daylight for a living—get this—playing Dead By Daylight. You know, something I can witness for hours almost every day by just going onto their streams.
So yeah, needless to say, I'm a bit let down. They acted like something actually of note was going to occur. We got gameplay. That's it.
-
Drink your orange juice, my child.
-
Do something about W key gaming.
-
A Perk that tells you exactly where the enemy is at all times.
In a horror game.
Where one of the primary skill curves is situational awareness and game sense.
And you can turn on voice comms so everyone else gets the benefits with only one person being dealt the "downside" of it.
You tell me if that's good Perk design.

Groaning store houseefor example got all the pallets removed so once the wall is broken the main building is a dead zone.
Lmao, as if.

Looks over at MacMillan getting infinites back thanks to breakable walls

Xbox. And I am playing those killers! I play all the killers with the same recent non results.
Don't Nurse and Blight suck cheeks on console?
-
My guess is that Survivors seem to be slowly but surely getting better at taping down the W key on their keyboard. And unless you're playing Nurse, Spirit, or Blight, you kind of can't do anything at all about it.
-
People say tier 2 is a normal lunge, but I'm convinced it's still slightly shorter than average.
-
Self Care.
I've said all that needs to be said.
-
TL;DR: WeLl AcCoRdInG tO tHe NuMbErS nothing the community has been complaining about for months or years on end is actually legitimate, so no, we won't be actually making any changes that people want.
Buy our cosmetics.
-
There's an event going on? I thought it was just a new cosmetic collection.
-
Object is the Nurse of Survivor Perks. People think it's bad because no one can use it well, but it's actually one of the best Perks in the game, especially when combined with a 4-man SWF.
Seriously, if someone with OoO is in an SWF and is decent at looping, you either waste your time chasing them, in which case everyone knows where you are and what you're doing, or you go after everyone else, in which case... everyone knows where you are and what you're doing. You lose either way.
-
-Halloween event is just a cosmetic release
-MacMillan is now extremely immersed and some of the already strong windows are now god loops unless you break a wall (remember when the addition of breakable walls was supposed to HELP Killers?)
-The Perk changes designed to "shake up the meta" completely failed because almost all of them are still outclassed by the current meta (it's almost like nerfing the meta should take priority over buffing non-meta Perks)
-Except WGLF which is straight busted now, you basically cannot slug if someone brings this Perk into the match
-They didn't actually add new ways to gain WGLF tokens even though they explicitly said they would
-Blight is still cursed with crotch cam
-Pop was nerfed
-Pyramid Head is bugged to hell and back
-Any Means Necessary is still trash
-Thanatophobia was nerfed
-Discordance was nerfed

Just accept It: DBD Is way better
No, it's actually a dumpster fire. As mediocre as most other asymm/asymm horror games that have come out since DBD's popularity are, mediocre is still better than "Jesus Christ how did this abomination ever get considered a good game holy hell."
-
It's because BHVR has a monopoly on the asymm market.
Literally, that's it. DBD's monopoly is so massive that even BHVR's own new asymm game couldn't compete. Everyone just went back to DBD because that's what everyone else plays.
-
I feel like the number of people who understand that this game:
-Is full of corporate greed
-Programmed by legitimately incompetent designers who CANNOT DO THEIR JOB
-Managed by a company who only exclusively listens to praise and responds to criticism either impossibly slowly or not at all
-Is one of the most unbalanced messes to grace the video game market since Brigitte
Is slowly rising. I think eventually enough people will realize this and the vacation of the playerbase will be massive enough for the game to die.
Which I honestly hope. I play this game almost every single day, but only because I'm addicted. I vehemently despise this game, I vehemently despise the community, and I vehemently despise the people in charge of making it all possible (except Mcote, poor guy had his prize game trashed by trash-tier coworkers). I don't enjoy it, and I haven't enjoyed it for a while. I don't think it deserves to be successful and I metaphorically beat myself up for supporting this piece of burning garbage. I sincerely hope it dies one day, or Mcote can have the good fortune of having his baby reborn and nurtured by a dev team who can actually develop a game.

Of course there's an event. Happy Microtransactionoween!!!
So, there is no event. It's just a new cosmetic collection.

Somebody asked me what I thought of the event, to which I replied, "There's an event?"

I love how they all look genuinely spooky and disgusting but I'm so over DBD being a "horror" game that I just think they look stupid and ugly.
Good meme.

If they were as boring as some people claimed the game would have died long ago.
There is more to fixing a gen than just watching a progress bar. You pay attention to what is happening around you. Learn how good your team mates are in chases, try to work out the killers perks, etc.
Honestly, if they made fixing gens more complicated then that is when it would start to get boring.
The reason the game hasn't died is because the chase exists and that's the fun part, not because gens have merit. If gens weren't boring as people said, they wouldn't be complained about every other week.

Why do you do it then?
Why do coke addicts do coke?
-
Laurie. No more Decisive Win, no more Object of Permatabs.
-
Loading into a match.
-
I used to do it because I genuinely cared about other players' fun.
Now I do it so I don't get bitched at in the post-game chat.
Of course, I still get bitched at in the post-game chat anyways.
-
Depends on the Killer.
If I'm playing someone like Blight, I'm playing to win, so hard slowdown and map pressure Perks that work well with him like Ruindying, Thrill of the Hunt, BBQ, Tinkerer, that sort of thing.
If I'm playing Pyramid Head, who's a beast in a chase but has terrible mobility, I'm playing for fun, but I still want to win. So Perks that kind of let me engage in fun stuff by slowing the game down and preventing me from needing to sweat my ass off, as well as tracking to find and chase more people. Ruinveillance, Undying, and Nurse's.
If I'm playing Legion, I expect to get my ass whooped no matter how well I play because I'm using a godawful Killer, so I just run Perks that feel nice. Enduring, Brutal, Shadowborn, Thana.
-
I don't even think Nurse is all that hard. I had a more difficult time learning proper Lethal Rush and Punishment of the Damned hits than blink attacks.
People don't play her now because between the awful fatigue vision, the cooldown on top of a cooldown, and the bugs, she just isn't fun. But unfun =/= bad. She's still the #1 best Killer, and I think you'd be crazy to deny that. They made her less fun to play without actually giving her a proper nerf. Unsurprising.
-
It's also bugged so you get the full 315 points every time you stop recovering. So you can just spam click your M1 while downed and fill out Survivial in seconds.
-
I think the most hyped was probably Cursed Legacy, and unlike a lot of new Killers, Oni actually lived up to it.
Descend Beyond wasn't all that hyped even though people had plenty of reason to be, and when Blight dropped the reception was honestly quite lukewarm.
-
-Do bones. The Perks go away if you do bones.
-Do gens. Ruin physically cannot take effect if you are on a gen.
