  • Ah yes, No Mither, my favorite crutch Perk.

  • Teabagging is annoying. Shaking your head after tunneling someone into the ground is annoying. Pointing is annoying. Mori spam is annoying. But one thing these all have in common is that they’re all visual, and though annoying, they are not an aesthetically unpleasant stimuli.

The sound of a flashlight being clicked, however, creates what is in my opinion the most infuriating sound in the entire game. It physically makes my head hurt. It’s an ugly, unpleasant, uncomfortable noise being broadcasted because it’s such an audible irritant. I hate the sound of flashlight clicking so much that it will almost always cause me to DC. I could be farming, or on the road to a 5 gen 4k, or playing Survivor and seeing a teammate be toxic—no matter the scenario, I immediately want to leave the second that atrocious sound touches my ears.

So I would say flashlight clicking is the most toxic thing you can do.

You can still move around during the fatigue (though extremely slow) while Dstrike you cant

Even if the difference between standing still and moving in fatigue weren’t totally negligible, it still doesn’t really make up for the considerably unpleasant visual stimuli induced by fatigue and the fact you get the longest base fatigue in the entire game for using a power that does nothing more than injure Survivors in my opinion.

  • DS stun: Five seconds, with the Survivor only being given the opportunity to actually run away for around four seconds

Frenzy fatigue: Four seconds, during which the Survivor has full time to run away, also during which you get a vignette so bad that some people can’t play Legion without Shadowborn

On second thought, you’re right. I’d rather get hit with Decisive Strike than deal with Legion’s post-Frenzy fatigue.

  • Ah yes, eating a Decisive Strike for using a power that does absolutely nothing if the Survivors know how to survive while injured is so fun. God I love Legion.

"Onision with a fedora" 😂😂😂 you ain't wrong!

    Devs: [nerfs forever freddy]

Freddy: Wow. WOW. WOOOOW, so you are so into yourselves, like you are so committed to censoring innocent people that you’re just gonna go and try and get my best build deleted?

  • Oni, 100%. Most people don't know how to play him to his full potential, and even if they do he has some limitations to his Demon Strike that make him a bit weaker than he should, but for me it isn't about how strong he is when he chases me. For me it's about:

    A) That god-tier chase music that is hands down the best one in the game please don't @me

    B) The visual appearance. If you were running for your life against a Killer, which one would make you the most afraid: A pink-haired high-schooler in a Christmas sweater and a skirt, a skimpy r34 anime ghost girl, a redneck with a chainsaw, a fat man with a chainsaw, Onision with a fedora, the Joker after he let himself go, or an ogre in samurai armor spewing ruby-red fires of Hell out of every orifice of his body?

  • It’s definitely a training wheels Perk, it has its uses for newer players and its effectiveness diminishes with time. Dark Sense is something I would consider total ass, since its effect is so negligible that not even new players gravitate towards it.

not a difference. They could have instead looked at the players that don't use klepto. But they didn't

    Then they should have.

Actually it's like when Riot removed Kleptomancy and didn't change Ezreal to make up for it, specifically so they could see the magnitude of the impact first.

Difference is, we don’t need to wait to see what happens when you play without Ruin against decent Survivors because we already do; that’s why people run Ruin to begin with.

  • Yeah I’m gonna have to agree with most people here and say this is another example of BHVR being terrible at continuity, consistency, and lore in general. They’ve done it about a million times in the past so I’m not surprised they’ve done it again here.

  • (This post is to share concepts for the addons and mori.)

    Common

    Bone Shard

A small fragment of bone collected from one of Wolf’s catches.

-Increases Mark of the Kindred’s movement speed bonus to Wolf’s Frenzy by 2%.

    Weighted Grip Blade

A specially-fashioned blade that is slightly heavier, but allows for great control when properly used.

-Replaces the Lamb’s tumble attack with a normal lunge.

    -Trumps all other addons.

    Leather Quiver

A minimalist leather quiver that allows for light and easy drawing of arrows.

-Slightly reduces the channeling time of Storm of Arrows.

    Shed Fur

-Clumps of thick hair from both Lamb and Wolf’s pelts. When it gets onto their prey, it carries a trace of the Kindred’s scent.

-Increases the duration of the Mark of the Kindred status effect by 5 seconds.

    Damaged Whetstone

A small, worn whetstone used to crudely sharpen blades.

-Increases the Lamb’s interaction speed bonus from Mark of the Kindred by 1%.

    Uncommon

    Furry Blade

Lamb curiously used this knife to shave her fur. The clippings cling to the blade and leave a lasting scent on prey struck with it.

-Increases the duration of the Mark of the Kindred status effect by 10 seconds.

    Old Hairpiece

A knot of fabric used to tie hair. Holding back her large mane allows Lamb lighter, surer movement.

-Reduces the Lamb’s Terror Radius by 2 meters.

    Black Bone

A coal-black bone taken from a very curious creature. Gnawing on it sharpens Wolf’s teeth.

-Increases the duration of Dread by 6 seconds.

    Refined Whetstone

A clean, like-new whetstone that sharpens blades well.

-Increases the Lamb’s interaction speed bonus from Mark of the Kindred by 2%.

    Old Music Sheet

A piece of worn parchment that contains one of Lamb’s favorite songs.

-Slightly increases the steering of Lamb’s tumble attack.

    Fresh Meat

A hunk of flesh torn from an unknown animal. Provides Wolf with even more energy.

-Slightly increases the lunge range of Wolf’s Frenzy.

    Rare

    Cracked Rib

A broken, damaged rib taken from a prey that Wolf tore to shreds.

-Increases Mark of the Kindred’s movement speed bonus to Wolf’s Frenzy by 5%.

    Yellow Bone

A bizarrely-hued bone from an unidentified prey.

-Increases the duration of Dread by 10 seconds.

-Reduces the time between Dread skill checks to 5 seconds.

    New Music Sheet

A like-new piece of sheet music that contains one of Lamb’s favorite songs.

-Slightly increases the lunge range of the Lamb’s tumble attack.

-Slightly increases the arrow travel speed of Storm of Arrows.

    Lamb’s Blood

Lamb recklessly cut herself with this blade. The blood stuck to it leaves a strong scent on prey struck with it.

-Increases the duration of the Mark of the Kindred status effect by 20 seconds.

    Reflective Fragment

A shard of a mirror broken during a fight with an unruly prey in their own home. Gazing into it fills Lamb with an unexplainable emotion.

-Increases the Lamb’s movement speed to 115%.

    Very Rare

    Tattered Scarf

A piece of old cloth that Lamb was given by a very young girl taken by sickness.

-Reduces the Lamb’s Terror Radius by 4 meters.

    Japanese Water Stone

An esoteric but masterful whetstone from a land the Lamb does not know.

-Increases the Lamb’s interaction speed bonus from Mark of the Kindred by 5%.

    Spoils of War

A fresh, still-warm arm of one of the Survivors of the Fog. Eating it fills Wolf with vast surges of bloodlust.

-Increases the initial movement speed of Wolf’s Frenzy by 15%.

    Lamb’s Masterpiece

A song that Lamb wrote herself.

-Moderately increases the difficulty of Mounting Dread skill checks.

-Increases Mounting Dread skill check fail penalty by 3%.

    Ultra Rare

    Iridescent Masks

A pair of masks crafted by the Entity that matches the Kindred’s likeness. The cold glass fills the wearers with intense bloodlust.

-All Survivors are affected by Mark of the Kindred for the duration of the trial.

    Lamb’s Favorite Poem

A lullaby to Wolf. The weft and wave of fate guides…

-Attacks made during Wolf’s Frenzy immediately puts Survivors into the dying state.

    ----------------------

    MORI CONCEPT

The Kindred's mori is different depending on if you perform the mori as the Lamb or as the Wolf.

Lamb: Lamb slowly approaches the Survivor as they try and fail to back away. When she is close enough, she gently reaches forward to caress their face. The Survivor stares deep into the glowing eyes of Lamb's mask and slowly accepts their oncoming death, leaning their head against Lamb's touch. Lamb then drives her shank into the Survivor's neck, killing them instantly and painlessly.

Wolf: The Survivor puts up an arm to defend themselves, only for Wolf to dive upon them and rip it off with his teeth. He paws at the ground as the Survivor screams, driving his claws into their stomach and disembowling them in the process. Finally, Wolf pins them down and rips out their throat, lapping up the blood spilling from their neck before slinking away

  • As if balancing around 2k’s are a good idea. Killers don’t feel entitled to a 4k; they feel entitled to a power role being the power role because that’s what the power role entails. The point of Survivor is that you’re supposed to feel oppressed and helpless against the Killer; I hardly feel “oppressed” knowing that as long as my team has half a brain I have a 50 to 80 percent chance of getting out, even if I suck absolute wee wee.

If you think Killers are OP, you need to find a different game. Killers are supposed to be OP; that’s why only one of them is pitted against 4 enemies every match. That’s the point of Killer. If they’re not OP, they’re weak. And if the average game is a 2k, that’s hardly OP in the slightest.

First, I love your name <3

Im a full on weeb so I know of JoJo, it’s been on my to do list for a long time, just always feel there’s something better to watch, mainly because I’m not fond of the art style. Now, after watching Mob Psycho 100, I can’t judge JoJo, so I will definitely give it a try.

If you haven’t seen Mob Psycho 100, I highly recommend you do! It has some of the best character development from any show(anime or not) that I’ve watched, and fantastic animation quality. Reigen, his “master” is a hoot as well.

Never heard of Phantom Blood, but I’ll make sure to look it up.

    My anime recommendations to you:

    1. Mob Psycho 100,
    2. Gantz (Dark, gore/blood, but the thrill makes it good)
    3. Darwins Game (Just started, but it’s really good)
    4. Rage of Bahamut (Really well animated) -Season 1 is better than two, but both are entertaining.
    5. Charlotte (prepare tissues for the end)
    6. Kanata no Kyokai (Will also need tissues and I think there is a movie that ties up the loose ends that you need to watch)
    7. That time I got reincarnated as a slime (More slice of life with action than your traditional action mainstream stuff, but the characters are great)
    8. The Rising of the Shield Hero
    9. Goblin Slayer (Need tissues for last episode for the happy tears)
    10. Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (Slice of Life)
    11. Darker than Black (Season two was Meh, seems like they didn’t know what they were doing with the story)
    12. Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit (Top 5 of my anime, fantastic animation/fights, good story and great characters.)
    13. Disastrous life of Saint K. If you love anime you’ll love this comedy and get all of the reference in this series.
    14. Gintama, Mainly comedy with lots of action, in my top 5 list of all anime

Phantom Blood is the first part of JoJo.

I’ve been meaning to give anime a try (JoJo is the only one I’ve seen ever since I got bored of the “kiddie” animes like Pokémon), but I just don’t have the time. Can’t even spare a few hours to watch more JoJo.

  • Gonna go with the basic ######### answer here—JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is pretty lit. People say you have to watch parts 1 and 2 to understand part 3 which is where things get pretty Gucci, but I personally thought Phantom Blood was great.

  • Are new Killer themes going to come with major updates to said Killer, or are they just going to come naturally? I.e. Assuming you never give an overhaul to, say, the Plague, would she still eventually get her own music?

  • @Peanits said:

We are not. We have mentioned multiple times that if something needs to change about gen times, we're happy to take a look into it. Unfortunately we cannot do that when 80% of red ranked killers are using a perk that covers it up- it makes it impossible to tell what actually needs to be done. We'll keep an eye on it.

This is like if Riot Games said they didn’t know what to do about a character in League of Legends because their 80% ban rate prevents them from being played enough. Four out of five high rank players running a Perk to counter a strat is a pretty good indicator that something needs to be done.

I am sure you are one of those fools who is chasing someone through god-windows, not even knowing they are god-windows, because you are still that noob. It is ok, you will improve with time.

Patience, young grasshopper. One day the power of the W key will come to you. Perhaps if you wish to counter Legion when he’s not in his Frenzy, you can even master the secret art of basic mindgames. A surprising feat, I know, but I believe in you.

If you can't get an M1 hit on an injured survivor, you are just getting outplayed. There's so many free win maps with legion.

Like I said, man, I agree with you. I find it really difficult to counter Legion; holding W is really difficult.

  • @Apple2o said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/997846#Comment_997846

You gotta be kidding me. Legion is one of the most faceroll killers in the game. You literally get a free injury every time you see someone.

You must struggle for your entire whopping M1 hits.

Try playing wraith to actually get good at the game.

Yeah, I got to admit, when I go against Legion, it’s very hard to hold W.

  • I personally think the best build for Legion is Adrenaline, Spine Chill, Inner Strength, and F—wait, Legion is a Killer? I thought this game just let 5 Survivors queue to one lobby.

  • I consider my main builds for both sides to be fairly off-meta. For Survivor, my build is centered entirely around keeping myself self-sufficient or picking up my teammates’ slack in solo:

-Any Means Necessary because I don’t trust them to be efficient with pallets.

-Inner Strength to reliably and quickly heal myself off of attempting to counter NOED.

    -Spine Chill because Spine Chill.

-Stake Out to make Ruin skill checks even easier when my team forgets that if they can’t find the totem, they’re wasting everyone’s time (though we all know where that’s going to end up).

For Killer, I’m currently an Oni Main, and my build is centered around ending the early game with a lot of injured Survivors so that when the midgame or late game rolls around, I have constant access to Blood Fury and I’m ready to snowball.

-Corrupt Intervention for an early-game 4 gen strat.

-Thrilling Tremors for tracking and forcing people off gens.

    -Infectious Fright for snowball.

-Shadowborn because it feels nice, but sometimes I’ll go with Sloppy Butcher to discourage healing so they give me more Blood Orbs.
