I'm just gonna say this once, if the killer manages to win quicker than 3 minutes, those survivors were simple trash, red rank I'm yet to see this happen, yes I'm SFW but we have an chosen runner, and 3 gen rushers, this person that runs can keep it up for 12 minutes average, if killer gets bored we are aware and we get ready to handle it, I can keep a chase for 6 minutes and of my group I'm the worse, spirit we can keep going infinitely, nurse, we can keep going infinitely, the rest is average 6 minutes for me 12 for my runner, worse chase is from hill Billy I average 3 minutes my runner 7 minutes, that's all the time any of us need and it's win
I'm sorry but there's no way that on average your friends chases last 12 minutes .. even the 6 minutes you can put out on average seems abit farfetched unless you are playing in brown ranks...
-
I'd say Rank is only based on two things, Skill or Playing Time.
I'm always Red Ranks as survivor because it's so easy to level up if you are skilled enough to do a gen, get a save and be chased for 2 minutes. It takes 30 pips to get from Rank 10 back to Rank 4 and honestly I probably only have to play 25 matches to get back.
Then the playing time side is pretty much because it's easier to pip than depip if your an average player who just plays alot after 50 matches or so you'll get there.
So to make a long story short there will be good players in Ranks 20-8 who just don't play much and then there will be below average players in Ranks 8-1 who play way to much.

its more of how do they find me when I hid in a locker the moment the game started without any help
they couldnt see me, no perks to help but they still find me and I just want an answer on how
is it cheating? are they psychic? does the game just give them a freebie?
I want to know
When you get into the locker do you quietly or loudly, because killers get a notification if you jump in one fast so that's probably how they find you

This is bullshit and you know it. You can still counterplay Nurse and she laughs in the general direction of looping and pallets.
No I don't frankly because it's not. You give me a good Nurse and a good Spirit and I'll choose to verse the Spirit Everytime.
-
Someone just doesn't grasp that there is a killer in the game where running circles around a pallet doesn't work on them.

Uhhh, you do know the "dying" state is just knocked down, right? Not getting mori'd or anything, it's effectively giving the killer t3 Myers if 150 seconds without a gen popping go by. That's actually weak, since it requires you to already have pressure for you to then receive the reward
You do realise the OP wrote you can kill the survivors also? Which is a Mori without needing a hook..

At once. So instead of suggesting entire power changes it would be easier to do some tweaks e.g :
Trapper - the maximum distance an unset trap can spawn from where the trapped spawns is 32m
Wraith - his movement speed while cloaked is increased by 5% in addition to his action speeds
Hillbilly - the penalty on missing a chainsaw is reduced by 5%
Nurse - (3.30 version) reduce the time taken to "recharge" each blink to 1.5 seconds
Shape - increase the rate at which you stalk survivors by 15%
Hag - increase the base rage from which she can teleport to a triggered trap by 10m
Doctor - increase the terror radius in treatment mode by 8m in the base kit
Huntress - 10% reduced cool down on throwing a hatchet
Cannibal - 10% speed increase while using bubbas chainsaw (when your actually using the chainsaw not just reving it)
Nightmare - dream snares reveal the survivors aura for 4 seconds upon being triggered
Pig - the terror radius fades 30% faster when going into crouch
Clown - survivors affected by the afterpiece tonic suffer an extra 5% debuff to their movement speed
Spirit - it takes 5% less time to start phasing when the power button is pressed
Legion - feral frenzy's duration is increased by 10 seconds and its cool down is reduced by 5 seconds
Plague - to broken survivors the plagues red stain is hidden (aka idk)
Ghost face - reduce the cool down on night shroud by 10 seconds
Demogorgon - reduce the penalty on missing a shred by 15%
Your nurse one literally just removes the Dev nerf to the basekit.
-
They Should just remove him having to switch between treatment and punishment.
Tweak a few of his add-ons
Make Madness 3 potentially stop you from vaulting (If they do this it would have to be that next hit you take drops you back to madness 2)
-
Do you have any recording of it not working recently?
In my plays I haven't found an issue with it only time I don't expose him is through my own fault of not keeping him centred for the required time
-
@MrsMaliciousX said:
5 gens left...Ruin still up...and killer is SLUGGING EVERYONE...really?!
If Slugging is such an issue for you then running unbreakable should be your first perk priority.
-
Was getting sick of the issues within Friday The 13th Game and lucky me this game ended up being free for PS plus that month so I got this and never looked back.
-
When I wanted to use Mettle Of Man lately I used to run Were gonna live forever, MoM, Inner Strength and QnQ. Add a Medkit with the purple insta heal and all you have to do is take a hit when killer is carrying someone then insta heal, take another hit then go hop in locker. Now your one hit away from it working and are at full health

I hate how Hag is being left out. I played on PS4 a majority of my time playing DBD until my PS4 developed a problem and I cant use it anymore.
Hag has the ability to shut down every loop, apply gen pressure, and destroy survivors so quickly. I know this is dependent on the killer and survivors but I believe played right the Hag on console is stronger than Freddy. Not that Freddy is weak by any means necessary, again just my opinion. I think the problem is most people don't know how to properly play her and spend way to much time chasing.
I would say on console it would be Spirit, Nurse, Hag, Freddy, Billy.
Great to see someone with the same top 5 as me :)
-
@NinoV1 said:
So obviously the killer metas on Pc and consoles are a bit different, like for example Nurse was the most powerful on Pc, but a joke on consoles.
Spirit and billy are still pretty popular but truthfully? Freddy is the big dog in red ranks. I could vs billy and spirit all day and not sweat too much. But Freddy? Freddy is straight up painful to face.
His map pressure is insane, his teleport paired with Discordance/Surveillance and Pop goes the weasel is god tier.
His snares are borderline game breaking, basically a clown with no recharge or slow down.
His ability to remain invisible until he’s in your face whilst your asleep shortens the hell out of chases.
His lunge is ridiculous (surely I’m not the only one who thinks this)
His movement speed even though his abilities don’t slow him down is also insane, the only killer not slowed whilst using abilities.
Anyways, I’m not asking for a nerf or anything, but reading blah blah Spirit this and that all day, when Freddy is in my opinion, even stronger, is funny.
Anyone else on consoles agree? Or does no one truly believe Freddy is top tier?
Not sure what he’s like on PC, but he’s just as popular, if not more then spirit on Xbox.
I still think the hardest killer to face on console is spirit.
My view of the top 5 on console would be:
Spirit
Nurse
Hag
Freddy
HillBilly
Nurse is still great on console but alot more difficult to master
-
I honestly stopped reading when I saw Mettle Of Man wasn't a big deal...
But just an fyi killer perks do get nerfed also, did you not notice the Enduring Nerf?

So I was placed with inexperienced players even though you guys stated "using the highest rank of all players" In this case would be me in solos which is Rank 12.
So why wasn't I paired with Rank 14-9? instead of rank 20's?
The matchmaking puts you withing 6 ranks of the killer, so you a rank 12 matching with a rank 18 is accepted. The rank 20 is also within 6 ranks of the killer so that is accepted.
I don't think the matchmaking forces all the survivors to be within 6 ranks only that they are within the killers 6 ranks.

@Zenro said:
Why is the game so heavily favored for survivors? Some loops are so strong you cant do anything. Half the killers get looped into oblivion. I dont understand. Killer is supposed to be the power role. Nothing is more infuriating than someone running to the same unloopable house over and over. (Haddonfield) its literally a safe haven. Chases take so long to end the game can end so quickly after just getting one survivor.
I swear this is a copy and paste post..

Base kit change is crippling.
There's a 2.5 fatigue time for 2 blinks. That's enough time for a Survivior to get 9 meters away. She needs to then wait 3.5 seconds to blink again, there's an additional 14 meters.
Nurse needs to cover a 23 meter difference for missing one chainblink, and that's the equivalent of 2 blinks, one of which being fully charged.
That is a crippling change if I've ever seen one. That's worse than any nerf Pig or Legion has ever gotten.
The Base Change was necessary with the new Add-on changes though and like I said you are already overreacting. Give it try I reckon you will not notice the changes as much as you believe you will.
-
I agree I think people are to quick to say that she's bad now, honestly the basekit change isn't drastic and all the add-on changes seem fairly decent.
-
All they've done is make the Nurse player have to be smarter with there blinks, this is a good move I'm certain good players will still dominate with Nurse it's just the average player that will struggle.
You all need to stop overreacting to every change like it's the end of the world....
-
No thank you I think it is in the perfect position right now
-
They are all complaining because they don't enjoy changing how they play, anything that isn't just running around a pallet constantly is apparently too difficult for them to handle so they want it to be nerfed. No will to adapt or learn is pretty much all it is.

Playing Rank 1 Survivor On PS4 In Australia:
Spend 2/3 of my time looking for lobbies.
Playing Rank 11 Killer:
Never found a match with over am hour of searching.
So yeah not good.

Sorry but I'm not agree with you. If you played with one of your friends and 2 solo in rank 1 the killer was rank 3, and this was balanced. If you played with 2 of your friends the killer was rank 5, and this was balance too. If someone wants a challenge he has no mither. Do you really think everybody will want to play with your SWF when they know the killer will be rank 1 and your friends rank 10?
I don't see the issue, why would you dodge a lobby as survivor anyway I already wait over 5 minutes per match to find a lobby. I'd like to think that I'm not the only person who doesn't dodge lobbies as survivor just cause someone isn't my rank.
-
My friends are on average rank 10 and I'm rank 1 and we have no complaints playing together, this is how it should work because before hand playing with them I'd face killers who were to easy to run around, now it's a challenge for me and it's also good practice for my friends.
This change is a great move on Behaviours part.

It should be borrowed time but when you unhook the survivor it applies it to you instead. Basically splitting the old BT into two perks.

Not sure why, but I faced a SWF with a rank 4 and rank 15 and I'm rank 10 as killer, is the matchmaking normal there?
That could just be a lack of players searching for matches at the time
It should be a rare occurrence

They posted a picture of a match where they got someone a few ranks above them.
Rank 5s and 2s are in the same matchmaking range
Yeah I was kinda just confused because rank 2-5 isn't a big difference, was expecting his response to be more like 2-15
-
I don't get it?
-
Ghostface
You lose the ability to Stalk survivors,
When stalking reveal aura of survivors up to 16m.
This would be similar to Scratched Mirror Myers but the reason for no reduced speed is because Ghostface can't always stalk.
-
Btw getting green ranks in your first 2 days is impressive congratulations!
-
Just ignore them and turn the chat off if it's ruining your enjoyment that is probably the easiest solution
-
It's not, it's just unfortunate.
Thankfully the Hot Fix will be released within 24 hours and that should fix this from happening. If anything just don't play any killer until then

So you think an add on that gives the clown a chance to insta down is stronger than a killer who's literal power is an insta down? Ok

When she uses her power it's mostly based on how good she is, and how lucky you are. If she phase-walks on a simple loop, it's just a guess, not a mind game.
The Nurse allows mind games as you can actually see her and react to her blinks. You can't see the spirit and unless you got certain perks it's just an educated guess.
That isn't really true there's way more to it than just luck. It more comes down to how knowledgeable you are at the game and also how well you can read how the killer plays.
There's a bit of luck but everything in this game has that in it, every choice you make has a chance to be wrong or right but it's not just blind luck.

I don't think it comes down to luck, it ultimately comes down to your knowledge of the game and your ability to understand how the person playing the spirit is playing.
You have multiple options when at a standard pallet loop and it's all about making the right choice which is hard against a good killer but it isn't luck.
If you think it's luck then almost everything in this game is just luck there's no actually skill or smarts needed to play

Spirit is the only killer that can read you but you can't read her
You can read a Spirit, it's just far more difficult than other killers but that's good you actually have to think to survive. Paying attention to every detail is crucial against a Spirit and in my eyes makes her the best killer to go against.
Her add-ons could use some Tinkering but besides that what would you recommend the Devs do to help you read her better?
Also as a suggestion if you have issues with Spirit all you have to do is use Spine Chill it's unbelievable how helpful it is to understanding what the Spirit is doing

Of course no, from your avatar I know that you are rank 14 and you have no clue how strong she is .
Mate you can't win an argument by trying to insult someone that's just poor form.
And for the record She isn't OP the spirit is a challenge to play as and against which is good for this game. We need more killers like The Spirit

That’s what DS is supposed to be but it’s not unfortunately. With DS, a Survivor can do whatever they want and not have to worry about being hooked for 60 seconds. If you think quickly downing the unhooker and unhooked Survivor because they made bad plays is tunneling, then you’ve got some major problems.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/665424#Comment_665424
...what? Are you new to the game? A five second stun can have a big impact during a match. It’s not fair if I clearly am not tunneling the Survivor but still get hit with DS because you capitalized on their mistakes.
I'm not new I just don't find DS an issue it really isn't that bad getting hit by it. You shouldn't have to much trouble catching back up to them
-
Why not jus get hit by DS and move on it really isn't a big deal

I don't want too play like scum just for a 4k. I want the game too be as balanced as possible, and again, I fail too see how 20 extra seconds would completely ruin the game with things like Toolboxes, Brand New Part, and Prove Thyself among others.
Your whole idea is based on that the 20seconds isn't a issue for survivors because they can run toolkits with an ultra rare add on plus a perk to help speed up gens. You are complaining that you don't want to play a certain playstyle but instead want survivors to have too.
Also as a Ghostface main who doesn't use Ruin or PGTW all you have to do is get an early down to have the advantage, I've only had 2 matches get to the point where the survivors have done all generators. I'm sorry but part of what you are complaining about is your skill not the game, just keep working on it you'll get there.
-
I feel like there isn't a weakest killer in general because people are better with certain killers than others.
For example to me playing as killer the weakest killer is The Hag because I am just so bad as her.
But playing as survivor the weakest killer to me is Plague almost never get sacrificed by one.
There definitely is more viable killers than other but weakest is in the eyes of the beholder everyone will be different.
-
Items aren't needed for survivors to survive.
I play on PS4 and I don't enjoy the amount of lobby dodges also, so what I did was stop bringing items in.. and honestly I think I escape more now than before.
Items are like having an extra perk and for a killer to have to go up against 4 survivors with items is always going to be an extra challenge for them so it doesn't surprise me if they leave lobbies.
If you are inexperienced then having an item can help but like all crutches once your better you move on and stop using them.
-
This has to be bait cause nobody can seriously believe this would be a balanced game
