It sucks because not everyone had an equal chance, because A some of were not at home and at work, B it is code locked therefore making it unable to achieve for you or someone else, and C this goes against what they said in the past! Bhvr why? Just WHY !?

Mmm this changes my idea towards you if it's true.
Jesus determining who's right and who's wrong in dbd is always so difficult 🥵
I know how it feels

Ok. I want to make sure people are understanding the intent here. I don't want a blame game insult contest. I want a constructive conversation on what changed in monetization that has created this rift in the community. And that way Behavior can see clear concerns and possibly course correct it.
And you are doing just that you are in the green

Are you saying this topic hurts the community? Because that wasn't the intention. I wanted to address a breakdown in communication and make the topic of monetization approachable, because it appears many are unhappy with it.
No not at all, all I'm saying is that there has been worse complaints then this. You are doing fine, what I was saying was this not a first time something like this happened. This does not hurt the community, there have been worse cases

That all depends on the wording of the post 😉.
Many on here are civil and do give great feedback I agree with 100% but then we look at the DBD community and well peaceful is not a word I would relate to some of them.
Sadly this is kinda true, with the killers complaining about Survivors, and they complain about NOED. The last time I've seen something like this was when ScottJund released that video about that certain killers aren't fun, that really damaged the community.

Welp lets see how long this post lasts for

As I explained in my post, it DOES make the feedback less valuable because more of the community has no idea about the negative feedback in the first place. You might mean it in the sense of the devs looking at feedback, but it should be looked at as BOTH the devs looking at feedback and the community coming together to give valid criticism. The mod team's "superthread" has seriously disorganized most, if not all, constructive-criticism and has mixed it with positive feedback, the same thing that the team promotes on the forum.
I'd argue that having more than one thread IS more organized because the superthread is absolute trash at the moment. You have people supporting the event, you have people listing their issues with the event, and you have people actually commenting on what the thread was in the first place. It's been turned into a monster that no one is going to bother to comb through unless they're dedicated. Instead, make multiple merged threads relating to different issues, like, "Criticism of the event", "Suggestions for future events", "Why is there no event currency?", etc.
There is a QaA stream happening soon, hopefully we get some answers, and they have to be good, because at this point, this whole event is going to hell, and we need answers
-
They did an amazing job I hope they realized we like the work they done to the skins and the maps they made, we just don't like how you can obtain the said skins only through payment
-
Its honestly really sad to see all of this happening, I just wish this would stop, I hate this. I love this community because there is a lot of nice people who support one another sometimes. In fact this community helped me through the pandemic when I wasn't able to see anyone as much anymore. I just hope Bhvr fixes whatever they are doing
-
Sadly it is for money, I think that now that they've grown, they are not realizing what made this game special to before. I just wish they realize this, and change for the future of their company
-
Its probably not going to be licensed but who knows, I might be wrong, I would like to see what they do
-
Now this is a subject I don't paticularly like to talk about, because I don't want this game to die, I love it so much. But my guess if it did die, it would probably because of greed, and lack of communication. I just wish the devs actually took some grain of salt and listen to us. I hope this game has a long life because I met a very great community from this game, I'd hate to throw that all away because of the issues of the game. I hope they work on this, if not for the sake of the game then for us as players and people who enjoy this game.
-
There are negatives and posatives. I like that there is a little bit more strategy rather then just guessing, sure people could find out where she was going or coming from through the glass and footsteps, but it was difficult to hear that. However this does potentially hurt her in the high ranks, being able to know and guess where she is coming from allows a lot more counterplay that can really hurt the killer in the long run once people adapted to this change. This Bug might be removed or kept who knows, and I guess time will tell.
-
WoW, thats kinda surprising, 16% though, that is impressive. Also no this is not how other battle passes work in games, they don't take as long, but still require a good amount of effort but this is ridiculous. I like doing the rift because I enjoy learning more lore for the characters while I get rewarded for doing so. But if it has come down to that, then this is surely tiring, I stuggle to even keep up in school and I barely finished Tome 4. BHvr fix this ######### now! Please for the sake of my sanity as well as others please make the rift as it was before.
-
I think it will be original, Coldwin would be my guess for the next graphic update since Billy is in the rift now. And maybe some nerfs, and buffs here and there

I get you. Everyone has their preferences for what they’d like to see, and that’s fine. I just mean I encourage people to continue talking about it because it’s something they’re excited and passionate about, which is awesome! It’s fun to root for your favourite characters to make an appearance in DBD. And for me, since Sam & Dean haven’t been in ANY video games ever, it’d make me really happy to be able to play as them.
It would be interesting nonetheless to see them in the game

It’s been mentioned every now & then but nothing like the annoying spam that came from FNAF. Tbh it’s been a while since I’ve seen a supernatural thread, and it’s nice to see people still discussing it.
I'm sorry, I just really have a bad experience from Supernatural fandom, If you have seen some of my posts I support Fnaf coming into DBD, in short Fnaf for me is what started my love for the horror genre and made me a long time fan of it, and to see the game that started it all come into another game I love would make me happy. I am sorry about the spamming of the fnaf posts ( although I wasn't one of the spammers, I still feel a bit responsible) But that was in the past, hopefully things change. I do think Supernatural would be cool it just wouldn't get me as excited as seeing Fnaf or Outlast. I hope you can understand man.

Tbh Pyramid Head is still an A tier killer, besides its really not that long
-
I feel like the Blight skin is giving me the more RE 2 vibes but this is close enough

Can I just say that they all look amazing, although Blight looks like something out of Resident evil almost. Legion looks awesome AF, GF almost too me resembles a pumpkin, awesome nonetheless.

Considering Freddy along with Leatherface haven't received any cosmetics (I'm not going to count the release Leatherface faces) it seems like those licenses aren't that willing to add cosmetics to the game. So I wouldn't hold my breath for Blighted Freddy.
Demo and Pig have the best chance as those licenses seem the most open to cosmetic options.
Yeah your right, maybe we can get one for Pyramid Head, maybe who knows
-
@Crowman said:
I'm surprised we have a licensed killer with a blight skin.
Now that means we will probably get blighted demo, Pig, Myers maybe, or even Freddy
-
My biggest bet it would be Ghostface since this isn't scream GF so they can grow more into that. Pyramid head maybe, it could explain a bit more why he's in the game lore-wise/ what I mean is that I would like to see another reason he is in the realm of the Entity, and if he is here to punish Cheryll for her sins then what for then, what did she do to deserve punishment? I like that they are opening up with licensing, but I want them to focus on the characters experiences in the game rather than the films.

The only time I will drop the God pallet is if it's late in the match and I'm on death hook (I also have to be injured), it's such a strong pallet, it's not worth dropping any earlier than that.
Agreed

Only if I would get a stun for the killer, other than that never. A god pallet can go a long way. But overall it depends on the situation

No, in terms of balance BHVR has free reign on changes to perks, powers etc.
Well that too, but if it was liscensed they would have to take it up with the owner and have them come to an agreement, and you are your right they do have free riegn to change perks, however that its onl if they aren't licensed, since OoO is lisenced they not only to balance it but also take it up with the owner, now if its a small change then they don't really have to discuss it, but if its a complete change then yes they will need to talk with the owner
-
The reason why it has not been change dis because its a licensed perk. In order to change it they would need to talk to the owner of said license and decide if the change is needed and works for them.

Oh its been going on for quite a while now, since what, around the time people wanted fnaf in the game if not longer, buts no worse then people spamming for Sidney Prescott
-
Oh my god I'm sorry but can you people not spam having these two in the game, I get it you want him in the game but its starting o get annoying

Mine would be too see salty and swf that fail at trying to bully me, that's satisfying as hell

@Blueberry said:
The game stops being scary and losses its horror aspect when you realize the killer isn't the power role.
While not entirely solving the issue, the game would seem much scarier if they were.
Well with that kinda mind set, it depends on which killer your facing, If I'm facing PH, or Spirit, it adds to that fear factor because they are powerful, so it really depends

My grew up in an old farm house built in 1865. Me and two friends were into ghost hunting and went several times as we still own the place.
First time there we caught an evp that was so clear I thought it was me talking for a second until I talked soon after and could tell it was for sure none of the 3 of us.
In the upstairs my friend was antagonizing and felt a burn on his back. We lifted his shirt and seen scratch marks literally appear in front of us up his back. Shortly after my other friends neck started burning and I watched scratches go across the back of his neck. Then I turned around and was starting at an apparition right behind us. I was face to face with it until I turned (because you know startled who wouldn't?) I quickly turned back and it was gone.
I seen what looked like small slightly reddish humanoid figures running in front of a window in the room opposite us at one point.
I was with some other guys out there letting them do a ghost hunt just hanging back so they could experience it and help if they needed it. Everyone of them were in front of me when a butter knife was thrown at my feet from behind.
Took a friend out and when I showed him the knife he laughed and the front door flew open and then slammed shut.
Got an evp of a young girl humming and at one point it felt like she was holding my hand. (This is assuming you believe in child spirits and them not being something acting as such). The cool thing was we could hear it with our own ears as well. Whatever this was actually followed me home. I was in the bathroom one morning and my dog started going crazy hoping and jumping and barking. He usually only acted like that when I either came home or someone else came over. As he was doing this I heard the same voice as the humming laughing and then it said "Sampson stop!" AND MY ######### DOG STOPPED JUMPING AND JUST SAT DOWN. I was home alone, no tv on, no computer on, no radio on, and lived in a house in the middle of nowhere so there was no neighbors.
Wow thats cool, very cool

Everyone speculated it was a killer who could knock down walls (based off breakable wall leaks). Then when there was no teaser the reveal felt flat.
The same could've been said for the Blight if the leaks didn't reveal who it was. Also the teaser before was 100x better than the one for Deathslinger.
Another example of this was Clown kinda, sure it showed him the bottle but it gave no hint to it being a clown
-
The Least hyped: Either Darkness among us, or Demise of the Faithful. Darkness among us brought an interesting theme, however it fell short, the designs/models of the killers looked so cool from chapter before. But when we finally see The Legion it fell short greatly, they looked extremely basic now that is not a problem per say its just awkward when we got the models of Clown, and Spirit who look a thousand times better then them. The Power felt clunky, the theme of DAU felt out of place, sure it was the 90s but I expected something like late 80's style which would've been more colorful than what we got, its just weird.
DOTF felt really cool at first but when the said religion was shown to be Babylonian that's when it became a head scratcher. First of all the name of the killer 'The Plague' doesn't make a whole lot of sense because she's Babylonian, now it would've made sense if she came around the time of The Black Plague or when the ten great Plagues struck Egypt in the Bible. But instead we got a Priestess whose history doesn't truly tie into the events of Babylon, however the good thing we got out of that chapter was decent perks, and Jane, but that's it.
The most hyped: The most hyped for me was Curtain Call, or Cursed Legacy. When I first started getting into the game it was around the time of when Curtain Call was released on the ptb , and from then on I fell in love with The Clown. The Clown has amazing lore, an interesting story, and his design though slightly basic it really stood out. But most of all the cosmetic shop was introduced and that excited a lot of people even me.
Cursed Legacy because it meant that Behaviour could go back to originally seen themes and explore them a bit more, it introduced a Samurai warlord which I think is super BA, and made him fun as hell. I really do hope they revisit old themes of different chapters and explore a bit more into those themes.

Just kills the hype for me. It's why when they build it up like for the Cursed Legacy and Silent Hill chapter it's soo much better.
Hopefully in the future they realize that, tbh I did find the whole speculating for the Chains of hate and what the theme was, it was fun and I heard a lot of crazy ideas, however when it was revield to be a wild West theme, that surprised me. I personally didn't think about Wild West, but after it was revealed who the killer was it was sorta meh later on.

Just one when I was a kid. I was at my friends house spending the night and we did our little “spooky stories” then went to sleep. I thought I was just half asleep but I remember hearing footsteps in the kitchen so I went to go look and I saw nothing so I just went back to sleep, just a little bit later I swear I saw a shadow walking through the kitchen again so I just pulled the covers over me. The last thing I heard or remember before I fell asleep again was hearing the microwave beeping and some pots moving.
I tried to keep it a secret but I just couldn’t so I told him what I saw, his dad heard me I guess and he told me all about it. Yes they have a ghost but it’s “friendly”. It still freaked me out but I kept hanging out with my friend and still went to his house from time to time lol.
Yeah there are some ghosts that are sometimes even guardians of those that are within its pressence,

My mother was (and still is) convinced that there were spirits living in her childhood house. Angry ones. The previous owner seemed to be a drunkard who hid his vice within various nooks and crannies in the house. The bottom of a closet would be hollowed out to hide bottles in, a secret cupboard space would hold a bottle or two of whiskey. In the basement, one of the walls had been chiseled away at to serve as a massive repository for empties. The force of a guardian angel could occasionally be felt, but there were rooms where a malignant entity could override its force. A room in the basement, left unfilled by any boxes or shelves, emanated anger. The concensus among my mother and her sisters was that, if you stepped into the room, the door would shut behind you, and you'd be locked in there forever. Once, the TV broke, for unrelated reasons. They called a repair man, and while everyone else was off doing their own work, he shouted from the living room. People rushed in, and he was rubbing his head, spoon (previously unattended on the mantle, presumably by some empty bowl of soup) by his side. He was working on the TV when he felt it strike his head. He finished up his business and left in a hurry, no doubt in a bad mood. The mantle was on the other side of the room. There was no way that someone would have been able to creep across, throw the spoon, and creep back without him seeing them.
Thats creepy, thats' very creepy, seems like the ghost might be a Poltergiest maybe

I feel like they should give tutorials for each individual killer, or at least a practice mode to try out the killer before you plan on buying it, because why waste your money when you don't know the killer in question could be bad and not for you.
