like it because it was something that has not been done before, with there being other stuff like the cliffs outside the map are gorgeous I wish we got more maps like that
-
Buddy liste, there have been people whos spent hours maybe days to get us liscenses to play iconic characters like Pyramid Head, Freddy, Demo, And Bubba. To remove such a character is basically erasing all that hard work because whiny players show hate and disrespect for a killer that they find boring, unfun, and so called EZ.

I'm sure someone thought along those lines when they implemented it, and look where we are now: stuck with an annoying, detrimental-to-gameplay-and-atmosphere, repeating roar. Sounds are huge, and should not be taken lightly, and while I'm not saying that the implementation you suggest would be bad, I am saying that the DbD developers have an extremely high likelihood of doing it "incorrectly".
true that

Partially sweat, partially "gas" lol...
I use a gas can as a water bottle, so after chasing people down my corn trail they get to watch me take a big sip of gas at the end. You'd actually be surprised how many people don't assume it's just water 😂

Yeah that would scare me but I think Billy should start growling when he begins revving his chainsaw and remains so to growl until his chainsaw is fully charged as he then roars, its be cool.
-
Clown is because he can throw bottles and end chases faster where as trapper realizes on luck sometimes
-
As someone who has tried a lot to get the adept here is what I'll say. It is a literal pain in the ass. Survivors have it much easier to get adepts, because there isn't a whole lot for them to do. For killer its much different. I've for Adapt, CLown, Pyramid Head, Pig, Ghostface, Bubba, and demo, yeah they aren't easy.

Maybe not, but what about an original killer who has this ability?

that seems to require too much skill... we just want some killer fun to play nice n ez
Eh I mean the killer would also do something else, like land an attack slam while in the air when launched, or swing around a corner of a tile, place traps and so on.

@dugman said:
Issues with the Jeepers Creepers director aside, the other problem with a flying killer is that, if I remember right, the devs mentioned that they did try various types of flying killers and ran into serious balance and technical issues. For instance, in an outdoor map being able to flying up and see over all the obstacles would be a pretty huge advantage. And on the flip side being able to fly in an indoor map with ceilings like The Game or Hawkins or Leri's wouldn't be very useful.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a flying killer if they can figure out how to make it work, that would be awesome! I'm just pessimistic it will ever happen.
I think a killer who can swing around the map would be cool too, like throw a rope or chain at a ledge then swing back and forth, let go and launch you across the map.

As far as I understand, a Jeepers Creepers chapter probably won't happen due to the director (or some other important part of the movie, I can't really remember) is a utter piece of human garbage, and the Dev's don't wanna support him. Unfortunate, but true.
The main reason behind that is because the director is a pedo
-
Now a killer who has the ability to jump would be cool but I don't think it will ever be Jeepers Creepers

If you beat the killer, don't sit at the exit games and teabag. Please just leave. Please let me actually enjoy the free time I spend wasting it on this game.
Exactly I've actually met a group of survivors who think teabagging is toxic and rude, I respect those individuals who agree to this. Like all your doing is wasting time, and its really aggravating to see, its very unsportsmanlike and there really is no point other to make the killer feel worse

For Survivor: 1: Hag
2: Spirit,
3: Freddy
Fro killer: 1: Hillbilly
2: Huntress
3: Trapper

I agree.
Clown in all reality is an extremely creepy and off-putting character with some really interesting lore, in this way he's one of my favorite killers. Just to throw that all away for a gag? no thanks.
Leave my Big Belly Boi alone. Stop bullying him.
I salute this, although they could add another circus killer that ties in with clowns lore
-
I find it pathetic and petty to dc over Slinger, because your right he may have high chase potential but he has 0 map pressure. Sure he maybe annoying but you can juke Slinger if your smart enough, but for them to go up against infinite Freddy is even worse than facing Slinger, I'd Dc against that. I just think people are brainwashed over that Scott person who talked about Slinger. I personally thought what he said about Slinger was absolute BS, sure he is a bit hard to face but not all that bad. Slinger can be fun to face if you play against him correctly. The thing is Slinger is still fairly new and like Clown they will adapt and find a way to work around him

They can be, but killers don’t get a free pass. There are killers that rant about genuinely serious problems, and those that complain everything is unfair unless the survivors just stand still and take hits.
Well yeah that is true, but I tend to see it more for survivors then killers sadly
-
Make it where when gearhead activates aura of said good skill check survivor is revealed, and killer recieves oblivious status effect

Same, and a build I often run is Distressing, Coulrophobia, Sloppy, and Forced Penance (I want to keep survivors injured).
And I’ll STILL get survivors RQ, or send awful messages complaining about Clown and my strategy. But from the same match I’ll get messages from different survivors saying I’m a trash noob for using Clown and “bad perks”, AFTER THEY’VE LOST. Go figure...
In my opinion survivors are sometimes the most childish part of this whole community

Yeah if you stay and experiment for them for a certain amount of time they will gain a tier which has grander affects the higher it is

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, this could work like a cage you could bring them to either hook or wheelchair, but like you said it would have to have a function, it would have to be a single animation with a benefit since I never played this game I'm not sure what he should gain, maybe some buffs .
Well i guess I could add that too but his powr is to kidna feel like a more buff version of thanataphobia

Yeah that's a top priority. at least have some underwear on, but full blown pants may be needed. I actually have an in depth view of what he would be like, power, perks and all, here:https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/182654/killer-concept-the-surgeon-richard-trager-outlast#latest

It's a great series, I'm happy it's a part of DBD. They added this chapter which gives alot of lead way for other game series to come in.When I first started playing Silent Hill again back in 2019,I never couldn't have imagined ,I be playing as these charactersin an asymmetrical survivor title. Silent Hill has been a strong contender in the horror genre ever since its first installment even so much where ,it's inspired numerous of other horror games ,which I still think RE7 may have borrowed heavy from Silent Hill 2.Im not saying Resident Evil falls short of horror it's just a different game when you compare the two it will always come down to personal preference, and not which one is better.Good luck on you're projects I hope they turn out the way you want them.
Oh they are getting close I hope you enjoy it once its done

idk my friend's legacy nurse looks so nice :(
Well thing is I've viewed legacy as just a skin and nothing more, its not that it looks bad it just doesn't phase me as much
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Look, man, I really really want legacy. I've tried begging my friend for her account (she doesn't play anymore) because she had every killer legacy 3, I've had friends who'd hack it in and "if you don't report it I might do it for you too" (they didn't).
But it's not coming back.
I don't want legacy to come back. Ever. There's no point in legacy being special if you give it out to people, and that's why the majority of people want it; it's rare and it's special. Give it out to everyone it's no longer rare, or special, and people wouldn't use it because they glow.
Tbh they don't look that good
-
Anyway I've added some changes to this post
-
Sadly there is bits of truth to what your saying sure you can play how you want, but that doesn't mean your gonna win, it sometimes is instead where you get 'lols' 'gg ez' 'git gud'. They need the toxicity of this game, they really do.
-
Its sadly what happens when you play something like this game, it affects your mental health I hate to say it, but when I started playing this game, I thought I would really enjoy it, I still do now but my opinion on it has changed greatly, at times it is depressing to play this game and I mean I enjoy this game because its fun. Sometimes this game can be a major middle finger to you, and most of the time that is from the community, I am talking about toxicity from Survivors and Killers. There is a limit one can take before one thinks of suicide, someone I know who played this game actually hurt himself, not just mentally but physically. Its sad at this point. I wish there was more positivity and the game was more welcoming and kinder, but no we got a bunch of ######### ######### instead. Come on guys, your killing the game
-
Play the way you want man,I play clown in Red ranks a lot and I still enjoy it
-
I mean I personally don't mind, I do kinda like it, but I bet it will become a meme, Doctor Egg-David. THere we go a meme is born

I think it's an ego thing. They like the feeling of bullying a killer that's the strongest in the game.
Nurse is honestly so rare these days. Last one I saw was like weeks ago and that's playing like all day every day.
Sadly that's common for a lot of people in the game. I see it happen to Clown many times. I do however think it is brave of them for trying to do well on a killer like nurse, or Clown or any other weak killer. I type in the end game chat 'you did well', ' Not bad'. you know any form of encouragement, because I wish there was more of that in this game I really do
-
a pirate, another circus themed killer. Also maybe a medevil killer would be nice touch

@Gay Myers (Luzi) said:
The dev team is not ignoring the community - there are many things that they want to add that to the game and it can't be just done with one finger snippit. It takes time and thinking about it.
They do care and they definitely don't want the game to die. Some devs are active on the forums, explaining balance changes and they do read what users say. Things users say are taken into consideration, but sometimes changes you want to see won't be added to the game and sometimes some changes simply just can't be done quick as a lighting and they take some time to implement.
Also to the comments about the cosmetic store: The art department is not related to the balance team. They're two different teams and both are working on the game, just in different ways.
I think they are just trying their best. I mena nothing is perfect

Oh nice which one? was it bit to old fashion for you?
I played the hd collection and some of the others. It wasn't to old fashion, it actually was pretty good, although the graphics were terrible for my screen, so that was a major oof. I did not find it as scary as say Outlast, but that's because I find being defenseless a lot scarier. However Silent Hill was creepy, but the moment in the game that gave me the most chills, goosebumps, and scared me, was meeting Pyramid Head for the first time, while you were in the closet. It's just the noises, the music, and his actions is what creeped me out, even though the animations or the sound effects back then weren't that great compared to today's technology, it still found a way to scare me. If the original three games are remastered I can only imagine what they would do to make that scene a lot creepier.
When Silent Hill was revealed coming into the game I was not to sure how I would feel for it, but that was before I bought the games and played them, now that I have some experience I see why we got Silent hill in the game, and I'm glad we did. It has given me a chance to experience a series that I've grown to love, and respect. It also given me a lot of interesting ideas for the little series I've been writing, so much so that I think anyone would say I almost based it off of Silent Hill, the series kinda taught me how to create horror that will bring fear to a lot of audience's to enjoy. It was an honor to experience this legendary series in the horror genre. I'm very happy I've experienced it.

No problem man, I looked at RE, I'm thinking about buying it, but I am trying to be careful with my money, don't worry I will give it a try when I have the time

@GoodBoyKaru said:
Honestly, yeah. I agree. This game can definitely cause your mental health to bomb, and when that happens the best thing you can do is take a break. The feeling of winning gets so addicting that when you don't you best yourself up over and over again and whilst that's good in small amounts to push for improvements it can feel so ######### after only like 3 losses in a row.
Least that's my experience with it, and I have nothing in psychology at all.
Sadly yeah this game has affected me psychologically when I first started playing it, thankfully now it doesn't affect me as much but hopefully for the future of things the devs understand this and probably find a way to make it where it is a safer environment to play

No, no, your fine, I mean that's what I tend do, I take the punches and suck it up mostly, but there are just days where it really does get under my skin. Your absolutely entitled to your opinion and I'm fine with that. I do think RE looks interesting although I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi, but I'll give it a try and see what I think.

So I'm not a kid but interesting you thought of that though, but tbh I hate it when people think of me as a kid when I support something like fnaf sadly, I don't act childish about the whole situation but it does hurt to hear it though.

I'll try but school and work are kinda in the way sadly maybe when i have the time I'll give it a try

I think the whole point of it was to help out Solo ques, because let's be real it sucks being a solo survivor. I think the perk changes were meant to give solo a fairer advantage I think.

Iḿ not sure the next chapter is going to be RE again Bhvr has tricked us multiple upon multiple times with the teases, that we all fell for. And its too early to be teasing the next chapter, I mean it would be cool I guess to se RE in dbd (although I never got into it) It still may not happen for a while

Always bring thana or at least a perk that punishes injured survivors
