Definitely the Halloween or Saw trailers.

Maybe, but it can be done even better, especially considering the cooldown, a lot of people complain about it
That argument is like saying DS "could be done even better"
By the time you end another chase, surge is probably off cooldown.

None of those fix the problems.
10 seconds isn't remotely enough, grabs don't work almost ever on dedicated servers for that to help and glass in the hand just seems out of place.
Just make any actions towards objectives or saves makes it deactivate, easy. If you do any of those things then you clearly aren't being tunneled.
I got like 4 grabs as Myers yesterday.
Anyways, don't nerf DS. Just deal with it. I would love for it to deactivate in lockers but I don't think the devs care.

The debuff for having multiple survivors on a gen seems to have not been enough... How about greater chance for smaller skillchecks when 2 or more survivors are on a gen, failing a skillcheck regresses the gen by 10% and all survivors working on it flinch
We need to stop focusing on band-aid fixes, and let the devs implement this new "early game objective" thing.
Edit: also, skillchecks aren't hard. At all. Any survivor with some experience will just hit all of them.

1) He does not slow down when placing traps, uncommon for trap killers (hag, trapper).
2) His add ons slow down gen progression when in dream world (if you haven't noticed gen speed bothers some killers).
3) He can teleport (or fake out) to gens which solve the mobility issue of maps (hello BBQ + PGTW!).
4) His nursery rhythm sound is only when in dream world and that is at 24m, closer than 32m.
5) He's a little smaller than other killers.
Gen speed bothers killers because a gen can be done in like 40 seconds as you're just ending your first chase.
-
Surge is actually a pretty damn good perk. I don't think it needs a buff, I'm content running it as it is.
-
Started up a match as Doctor last night. Gen popped in about 35 or so seconds flat as I started my first chase. I don't care what anyone says, I just afked the rest of the match to let the survs have their fun. Even when I'm playing surv I never pop a gen that fast.
-
Yes, we do.

@Colton147 said:
Generator Rush doesn't really exist - you need to apply more pressure.
I am capable of applying extreme pressure as Clown against Survive With Friends without any issue
So you face bad survs.

Yeah sorry I had a dumb dumb moment lol.
Other than my idiocy care to share your opinion?
Great change, I enjoy it.

Using whatever is at hand, you stab at your aggressor in an ultimate attempt to escape.
After being unhooked or unhooking yourself Decisive Strike will become active
While Decisive Strike is active, when grabbed by the Killer, succeed a skill-check to automatically escape the killer's grasp and stun the killer for 3/4 seconds.
• Succeeding or failing the Decisive Strike skill check will disable Decisive Strike.
• If another survivor gets hooked, Decisive Strike deactivates until the next time you are unhooked or unhook yourself
• Successfully stunning the killer will result in you becoming the obsession.
• Increases your chances of being the Obsession.
• The killer can only be obsessed with one survivor at a time
"There's nothing to be scared of" - Laurie Strode
"if another survivor gets hooked" should be changed. You can't unhook yourself after being hooked once.
-
Her nerf was far too brutal.
-
It's way too strong. Probably the best perk in the entire game still. You can punish the killer, even when the killer did not tunnel or you're just playing very cocky. Slugged, isn't a punishment. It buys survivors time in some cases and DS is one of em. Especially in SWF.

Same, since dedicated servers came many people have retired or took a break.
The game state in ps4 is quite bad. :)
The game state in general, is quite bad.
-
Billy is pretty fair. I can loop good Billy's on most maps for atleast 1 minute. And I've got 3 hooks! If my swf keeps it up, we win. Not hard. Even as a solo, not hard. Unless you're an inexperienced survivor.
-
Killer is too frustrating and unfair sometimes, and survivor is to easy when I can just loop anyone but spirit 2 minutes and the game is over soon after.
-
I unfortunately have no fun at high ranks.
-
Ok survivor bias time. Just rush gens, works vs any killer.
-
Thanataphobia buys you 8 seconds. But you're being ironic I think so whatever.
-
It's an amazing perk.

Oh my... All that cause RUIN got changed... LUL
How do you not realize that without killers, this game is dead?

@TheBean said:
They need to rework it so the skill check success zone is bigger... about 50% of the circle.
And make killer lives harder? Deal.

"now nothing prevents the survivors from repairing the generators very, very quickly"
thanatophobia, dying light, pop goes the weasel. and new ruin as well if you use it with TOTH or maybe haunted ground. also YOU can prevent them by just giving them second objectives such as unhooking and healing. hit people off the gens.
gen speed is perfectly fine, maybe you are just bad at protecting the gens. killers dont need to have enough time to get a 4k. you get a 4k if you do extra good. other ways gen speeds are enough time to get average 2-3k and that's how it's supposed to be.
Ok survivor main enjoy genrushing

Here I summed up your post for you...
All killers* I bet you're so happy you get to genrush as much as you please now.

So that people can complain for 2 full weeks without testing it? Sure...
btw. even the PTB test will not be enough to see the consequences, only the Live Server can give that insight.
Testing new ruin isn't required, this change is awful and any Experienced player would know that.

Hey don’t worry, only Survivors cry about nerfs.
There is no reason to turn this into a killer vs survivor fight.

Nothing's wrong with gen speeds. If you can't keep all the survivors you're not chasing off a gen, can you really call yourself a good killer?
"Just apply pressure 4head"
If you aren't playing a top tier killer, you can be extremely good at killer and be genrushed.
-
Why do you think ruin was meta? Address that.
-
Me. Cuz I'm a nurse main, and never used it but I'll fight this nerf.
-
I quit the game already, after Nurse time.

well if I remember correctly only two people work on maps sooooo
And that's why the maps suck so often...

This is bad change, I can't believe bhvr has completely stopped caring about killer side.

Can you actually contribute? Thanks.

I find her extremely unfun now.

If it can kill survivors.

@FreshPrince said:
This horse has been beaten to death, I agree with you but the survivors aren't having it, the devs aren't having it and so it's kind of a moot point.
There is some merit to be had in the fact that map size and design is causing A LOT of the problems with gen rush. God loops (with guaranteed or near guaranteed gens ) basically meaning you have surrender a generator or waste an obscene amount of time in chase.
Maps so large that survivors can LITERALLY complete a gen even if you b-line to the exact gen they are working on at the start of the match if it's alll the way on the opposite side.
I'd like to see these map reworks come out faster to see if it really is just the map design the more I think about it as a killer the more I suspect that IS the reason for the gen pain. But can't know for sure until those changes are made and I wouldn't want any direct gen changes made until after the map changes because you could compound it so much that survivors have little to no chance of completing gens and don't want that either.
Well, survivors won't have it cuz they don't care about killers.
But killers don't care about survivors either so nothing ever works out.
This is obviously not speaking about everyone but a toxic majority in my games "gg ez" and stuff.

@Waffleyumboy said:
What's your point?
That gen times are terrible and something must be done.
-
The entire game is broken. I'm surprised it doesn't crash more often.
Ranking is part of a poor gameplay experience. As it has no value except longer marchmaking. And toxicity, honestly.
-
Not dying, but definitely getting worse. They refuse to skip a chapter and fix things.
-
Also forgot to add on, she's definitely not stronger than Spirit.
-
Too stressful for her reward...but I still love her ;-;
-
A balanced, fun experience where good survivors ≠ win if you're playing like Clown and are also very good.

@The_Second_Coming said:
I would feel bad for you, if you weren't a Nurse, with ruin, and other extremely meta perks (noteably, ruin, on Nurse. OOF), and the survivors had perks that were actually game changing. They didn't.
Basically, if you lost to them, as a Nurse, with ruin, BBQ and Nurses Calling...I don't think it's the games fault, no matter the rank. You had a significant advantage.
You're really not the brightest guy. This is unfair, for a new player. A NEW PLAYER can use ruin on Nurse if they so please, actually...wait a minute. ANYONE CAN.
-
Killer is too stressful for the reward.

@28_stabs said:
then penalize:
- genrushing
- gen camping, tapping gens during chases (it take a lot longer to damage gens)
- using BT on survivors who have DH and DS, lol. And the healthy survivor doesnt care to get injured, because 2 generators were done in 1st minute and the healthy guy must be chased and put on hook 3 times, LOL
- survivors can loop killers for all 5 generators without any penalty, so penalise them for every generator done. -10k bp for every generator done during chase.
For reference, it takes 4 seconds to remove 1 second off a.gen for the killer.
-
That isn't that bad to be honest. At least it isn't Payday 2.
-
Survivors tbag to communicate as well. We do it at the beginning of matches. If a killer sees us early, welp we're getting sweatied against.
-
This game is not casual, but it's not competitive either. Competitive games require some degree of predictability and this game lacks that almost entirely except for some pallets. Also, every character on survs can use every perk at any time which results in busted perk combos. Same for killers. It's NOT truly competitive, as it isn't nearly balanced enough.
