I would of played Nemesis more if I had more killer perks unlocked.
-
another human sized killer with a knife? Boring.
just make them a legendary legion skin.
-
The only reason why I would hate most of the indoor maps is, your pretty much spending half of the match trying to find a gen.
-
In total I probably spent 70-80$ on cosmetics.
Some are really good and some others are from series I love, like Lisa Garland
-
This is like team fortress 2, you hear the ding noise but you deal zero damage.
On your side you hit them, but on their side you completely missed.
-
He actually can move his eyebrows, without distorting it.
He can open his eyes wider without it becoming a triangle, which I will miss.

The new dwight looks like a guy who decided to live his life in his closet.
Watch the dbd launch trailer, and tell me it isn't a downgrade from how he looks in it.
Considering he works at an office, indoors all the time, in a tiny cubicle. Kind of makes sense for that situation.

Dwight looks like goblin, nothing like the handsome dude from the launch trailer.
what? Dwight looked like a tweaker before the update.

The only one problem I have is Feng's jawline, it's strangely chiseled lmao.

Questions:
Why Audodidact in D?
Why Fixated in C?
Those perks are are very strong. I slept on Fixated forever but paired with Iron Will you can lose the killer very easy if you break los for a few seconds. It is def better then C.
Autodidact is way too inconsistent to work and it's start up is awful.
Fixated is nice to make some plays but in reality it's situational at best.
Good perks have either 1 super strong purpose or has many uses in situations.

never understood the point of red herring like why would I actually use that perk
Red Herring can draw killers away when doing rescues or your trying to finish a gen and you need an immediate distraction.
Since it's underused, the killers often fall for it.
-
My take on this.
Any survivor perk that needs cooperation will be shown to nearby survivors at any time like We'll Make It.
Seriously this can solve so much problems with solo queue.
-
Blast Mine isn't that powerful, it just hinders the killer for a few seconds. At best your saving like 3 seconds.

Unknown sound that's the Stalk Music they took out that they should PUT BACK IN!
Just got a banger idea, he can hold his Evil lll like how Oni can hold his berserk.
When Micheal activates it, it plays the unknown sound for 3 seconds then he goes into Evil lll, and maybe he gets a wraith uncloak speed boost.

That sounds so cool and scary! Was it like a universal sound that played or was it only when he was stalking you?
If I remembered it's when he's either stalking you for a long time or he's about to pop Evil III.
He also has a unused Tier Up Jingle, man there could of been something more.

Virgin Meta Perk Builds
CHAD SITUATIONAL BUILDS

Honestly main event should be changed to Trickster throwing 3 knives at once.
-
Killers hate dead hard because it's in your face.
DS is less painful because your kind of expecting it.

I think you were going to depip for genrushing anyway
genrsuhing isn't really that good for going up ranks
So… do we just twiddle our thumbs and wait for the guy that’s chased to be downed?

I guess I would say it’s too faithful to the Remake.
The remake isn’t designed for DbD gameplay.

I must be the only one to find his only flaws are the early game and his zombies serving much less value to the killer on larger maps.
With existing perks and add-ons that mitigate his weakness, I’ve found him to be powerful and effective in every rank, and I don’t think this will change in the future.
I find him great to play against too, I just love all the aspects about him and I, in no way, find any part of his kit to be detrimental.
Ive played maybe 15-20 games and It’s not enough to form a great opinion on the guy, but there’s only been 2 games where I got 2k’s, 4 3k’s, and the rest were 4K’s (I’m rank4 rn)
I’m seeing as this is the general consensus (this posts opinion), but I highly disagree. I find him to be low A.
Same, he's somewhat consistent in his capabilities on many maps.
-
I would love that, I really want to learn a killer without being clapped by full meta perk teams.
-
He's at best Low B Tier or High C Tier when played at best situation.
-
I mean we just started to play nemesis, at one point everyone thought spirit was going to be weak but after a while people realized she's broken as fu*k.
People need to play Nemesis a bit longer before judging for real.

They look worse, their hair looks really bad and unnatural. It also looks like they aren't prebaking lighting on characters anymore so everyone just looks awfully pale. You also can't tell me David looks better can you?
To me he actually does, he looks more like a real person. The hair is an massive improvement.
Tell me did you actually zoom in on the old hair, do you realize how crusty it looks.

I don’t think the Nightmare on Elm Stress license is still in lawsuit hell, is it?
they at least got the rights for the newer platforms recently. It’s just that the license owners are certainly not as easy to work with as others (just an assumption based on the available cosmetics..)
If he wasn't in lawsuit hell we would of already gotten cosmetics and a facial rework.

Not if you do it right she doesn't. Have done it this way many times and it works.
You can't "do" it right.
An experienced Spirit already knows your walking, a newer Spirit will probably fall for it more often.

Technically you still get information from a failed experiment.

This is the same situation with Left 4 Dead 2 Versus
People were literally downloading client side mods that make the special infected glow in darkness.
Some other people had a mod that increased the radius of the flashlight.
-
Those 2 perks are good but not god like.
Honestly I rather buff all the trashy perks like Vigil.
Like seriously there's like... what 5 killers that have timed status effects.
Most of the status effects in this game are legit just "until healed" instead of a timer.

Pros: She looks more realistic now. The old one looks like her face was cut out of a magazine page.
Cons: She's smiling instead of looking surprised. They literally took expressions away from other survivors and yet they are willing to add a smile to Kate... wth
I'm guessing not everybody knows that the expressions are varied and this is just her default t-pose expression.
-
Nope, you see. If you suddenly start walking when your being chased. Spirit already knows you near the end of the scratch marks.
All she has to do is unphases then check around. It's redundant.
Double Backing isn't a good idea either because often the spirit unphases as soon the scratch marks disappear.

@AshleyWB said:
I think most people's problem with spirit is the fact that they can't be bothered trying to learn how to counter her.
Here's the thing, people have been trying to find a consistent counter since Spirit's inception.
And so far the only one we have is throwing most pallets super early, which is by the way really bad for late game.
Then there's Iron Will, but you can't expect to go against Spirit in every match.
@PhantomChimera said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2257097#Comment_2257097
As many have tried to explain to you there are counters against Spirit. Your claim other wise raises questions on the validity of everything you have said. Do you have a source that Scott Lund and the others would agree you as well as game footage of you and a match to back you up?
Or perhaps you could invite some of us to a match so we could see first hand. The survivors using there counters and you showing us how you overcome them. The match could be streamed and recorded.
Have you actually fought against a good spirit? All of her weaknesses are not even that impactful once you realize survivors breath louder when they recently ran.
-
@Squirrel_Thicc said:
That won't work. The best way to counter spirit is when you think she's phasing, open up the pause menu and press the "leave match" button. Then she can't down you.

Deja Vu is so bad that it hurts...but it always was.
Edit: Straight from the DBD Wiki:
"Déjà Vu was generally mocked as being the weakest/least useful Perk in the Game for Survivors, not seeing any use with experienced Players and very little with newer Players."
Ewwww Old Deja Vu
Your kind of pulling from super old data, that's from literally version 1.0.
The meta changed super hard, remember when everyone used to use self care in every match?
-
@Karao_Ke said:
Deja Vu is so unbelievably bad and I don't remember if I've ever even used it in my 1.5k+ hours. It's just a weaker version of Visionary imo and advocates for not 3-genning yourself although you and your team wouldn't do that anyway if any of you had half a brain.
...and I can't forget to mention No Mither, because whenever someone puts on that perk the killer tunnels them out of the game because it's an easy kill. Oh yeah, they usually have the least amount of BP since they have to pretty much be stealth all game. Give me a break.
Disagreed, I cannot fathom how many times there was 3 generators left but no one is doing the third one.
Then it ends up delaying the game too long and everyone is practically on their last hook.
Your "Team" is a wild card if your a solo survivor, you don't know what they know. Your teammates might 3 gen the match without realizing it.
If you play SWF you don't need it at all, Deja Vu is criminally underrated. Even Otz agrees about this.
Also this perk is a "Investment" strategy, each time you fix one of those generators you always will increase the distance between the closest generators. Which makes it harder for the killer to move between them.
With Visionary you can know where the gens are but you don't know if these generators are the closest together.

Gigachads play Trapper in Red Ranks
-
It's basically a gamble, but Spirit has the advantage.
Unlike other killers you cannot read her as well so you have to basically guess what you need to do.
I learnt that double backing is a stupid idea because she can hear your breathing.

If you say so. I just have good aim 🤷. Trickster isn't as bad as people like to say. Nor does it mean the survivors were trashy.
Good aim can be downplayed by transitional kiting and weaving in line of sight breaking loops.
The house in Bedham, I looped the trickster for at least a minute to be injured.
Huntress in the other hand can probably injure me or even possibly down me in less than that with equal aimming skill.
If he used that addon that reduces the amount to injure to 6 maybe he could of ended the house loop earlier.
It’s his only real “useful” addon he has.
-
I literally ran around the shack for about a minute until he finally gave me the injured state with his knives.
Then I proceeded to add another minute by running around the main building using cover. And line sight breakers.

Pull heat off the other survivors, I don’t really care about being seen by BBQ. Unless any kind of instant down is at play.

The only time he’s good is when you got a short wall loop, other than that he gets clapped in every other loop.

With the newer AI controlled enemies, Victor could be roaming around an area and alert Charlotte if he sees someone.
Then give Charlotte a different power, because she's experiencing the old Freddy problem. It's not fun to play as Charlotte & Victor and it's not fun to play against them as Survivor.

Yeah then you end up ignoring them anyways, hey you'll probably be a great politician!
All you say is "cringe cringe cringe" but you have no bullets to shoot with, your merely compensating by pretending your this "stoic" guy.

I no longer consider your opinion relevant, to be honest. Nothing particularly against you, but eh. "Dead hard never works" is just to most ridiculous blatant lie that exists.
What are you too scared to debate?
I never said dead hard never works, major strawman , "guy".
@eleventbh said:
When dead hard gets nerfed are you guys going to complain about the other exhaustion perks? Sprint burst is better than dead hard if you ask me, it's just less annoying because it doesn't happen in the middle of chase. Lithe works better for me than dead hard and is more annoying to deal with. Not only do they make it to the pallet or window, they get to abandon the chase and the killer's time would be wasted unless he wants to waste more time catching up to the survivor. At least with dead hard you will eventually down them.
Oh my god exactly, Dead Hard extends the chase the same as the other Exhaustion perks.
The different between them is Dead Hard cannot be used to move into a safer area as effectively as the others.
I rather have sprint burst because in some generator spawns they have quite literally no windows or pallets to go to nearby if the killer decides to come around.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlmBSF80GDo
The reason why Dead Hard is hated among killers is because it's the most "In Your Face" move they can do and their less annoyed when a survivor sprint bursts away. And Sometimes the sprint burst often gives way better results.
-
@JimbusCrimbus said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2228072#Comment_2228072
Yes, sure you do. With dead hard.
Using dead hard doesn't mean you can't loop, dunno what doctrination sh*t is that but whatever.
What I can tell you is really Dead Hard is good if you got resources nearby but if your dead hard in a dead zone your really not doing much there.
Where as Sprint Burst can allow survivors to enter safer loops from a dead zone or get a head start in a chase which can lead to 30 seconds to a minute chases. Again not everyone needs exhaustion perks but the ability to extend a chase is really needed with the slow down meta.
Plus I seen streamers who make Dead Hard look like trash most of the time, if they're expecting you to lunge, quick swing, if they already used dead hard, lunge. You can literally hit them at the end of the dead hard.
AND not only that, once you know they got dead hard their effectiveness in tricking you is far worse, it's pretty much your fault you fell for it more than once.
