As Survivor, its nice when a Killer lets me get a Glyph, but its ok when they say no; they are doin what they gotta do as Killer, and I absolutely respect without objection.
It's a lot of bloodpoints to let them escape with the mirror they get after going to the basement, 25,000 BP. Do you let them go? I had a Demogorgon let me go today with mine and yesterday, before he killed me, Wesker let me get my Green Glyph 🤗

I would run the following: Bond, Open-Handed and Flashbang. This way you can see your teammates and be in a better position to get in place. Use the 4th perk slot with whatever you like. Good luck 👍

Yeah, there's definitely something in the water today. It's literally every killer just tunnel at 5 generators and I'm sometimes getting like 5,000 BP

That's what I would suggest, yeah. Range add-ons usually aren't too helpful for aiming but rather if you find yourself not able to get close enough in time for the save, but wide lens is helpful in that it *should* make it easier to register your blind if you're slightly off.
Maybe try out wide lens with the yellow grip add-on on a sport flashlight and see if it helps. If the grip isn't necessary you can replace it with a battery of course for more usage.

Yep. It doesn't make you more accurate in that sense. You can use add-ons to increase the width of the beam to make it a bit easier (wide lens) or increase the range of the flashlight, but that's about it
Ok so the lenses is what I should probably focus on then? They give me a better shot at aiming correctly at the eyes, at least more helpful than the grips?

The flashlight accuracy add-ons (as well as the accuracy buff from the sport flashlight) decrease how much the beam sways/moves while you are holding your aim still. If you've ever noticed, the beam slightly moves around (unsure if in a pattern or random) while you're keeping it still, the yellow and brown grips will decrease this. People disagree on how good they are, I would recommend trying them out in a game yourself to see if it is impactful for you. Unfortunately I have not played on the switch so I can't give any advice there, maybe another commenter who has can help you out. Best of luck.

Didn't even drop one pallet to get it. I was sitting on a gen while someone else was running around dropping pallets.
Oh nice. I thought it would be difficult but I got it easily with Kindred every time someone else got hooked.

I actually took my monthly shower this morning (in between DBD games) so I’m not that stinky. Only a little bit, because all I had to use was a moderately used bar of soap I found on a gas station bathroom floor.

Definitely NOT reportable.
Waiting for survivors dieing and escape with "Wake up !" and "Sole survivor" is a viable strategy.
I'm only interested in the picking up and dropping an item to avoid AFK crows. Is that an intended game mechanic or is the Survivor using an exploit?

They probs tried the easy selfish game.
She did have sole survivor, that's why she waited at the exit gate. She was also a Prestige 40 so she knows what she's doing.

I saw someone else say Distortion doesn't affect the aura. Can anyone confirm that it does?
I contacted support as I have been losing tokens while in a locker with distortion. They said they're looking into it.

Sorry for the crappy image quality. So I got home and decided to give Chuck a F***. My build was haunted grounds pentimento plaything and undying. Hardly meta, but the survivors gave up after messing about failing to get sabos and saves. OK fine I get it.
This is on Midwich BTW. After the first survivor was sacrificed and another had afk crows I figured screw it, just leave. I had pizza. It was a Jets all meaty deep dish with turbo crust. And extra cheese.
7 minutes later, no gens done. I am still in this game it's been close to 20 minutes of them refusing to leave. I am afk in basement, they refuse to go.
Development team this has happened before. Survivors may be a-holes but for the most part they're not stupid. These are the same teams that were whipping my Artist and Nurse's ass a week ago. The 13th has not hit, there has been no rank reset and I'm gold 2 atm.
Make the killer seem like they overperform upon release. Get them nerfed. Continue to enjoy your easy game. I mean c'mon man Chucky just came out who you think you're going to face, Trapper?
Development team please don't take this obvious bait.
P.S sorry for the long winded message, it took me a while to write. I'm still in this game at the conclusion of writing and editing this post. They must be getting impatient, they're vaulting pallets now. I'm not budging.
They all refused to fix the generators? I don't get it 😕
Why are they not finishing and leaving? How did the match eventually conclude?

I've never seen anything like that before. So pallets can hit a Survivor?
I've personally dropped pallets when a Survivor is in the dying state underneath one when the killer picks them up because it saves them, I stun the killer and they drop the dying Survivor.

If it's almost the end, I'll sometimes stick around just to see if my team survives but usually I won't watch a match with more than a few minutes left in it unless I really want the killer to take them out (generally because they either sandbagged, they screwed me over somehow, or they played Hide and Seek the entire time and never touched a generator).
What does sandbagged mean in the context you're using it? Is that the same as teabagging? I'm not familiar with all the DBD lingo yet lol

This happened to me and my friend this month on Nintendo Switch.
Try entering it 24 hours after your first attempt.
It was so frustrating because we thought we were going to miss out. Fortunately, we were both able to redeem them the next day.

My friend just got it. You have to be 24 meters away from the killer at the time of aura reveal. Try Alert, Kindred and Wiretap.

Its this quote here that says it all, "the clearest I'm friendly message", there really is no established rule about crouching a couple of times as some kind of universal message that the killer has to be nice and let everyone go.
Its kinda like people who point at pig, they expect to be let go afterwards. If you crouch in front of the killer and do that then you are an easy target and gotta expect that its just as likely you'll get downed and hooked.
If players create some arbitrary idea around signals that mean its a "friendly" farm match then I say a killer who wants the 4k is welcome to exploit that to the fullest. Let the suckers be suckered, I'd consider that an effective mindgame.

I don't know what server you are playing but i always get insta queues on both roles, sometimes bp bonus on killer, sometimes on survivor.
But right now, Chucky is killing queues for sure.
I never get insta killer, even on 100% incentive. It's like the matchmaking couldn't care less about my survivor MMR, but makes sure to take its sweet time when I play Killer at night.

I have found that really unpopular killers fixes itself within a day or two, good originals take about a week, bad IPs take about a week, and good IPs (where I'd put Chuckster) is about two weeks.
Obviously YMMV on this, just my anecdotal take on killer queue times with new releases.
I don't even try to play the new killer for a week or so when they're newly released. I'm impatient AF :D
Yeah, I'm with you, I don't have the patience to sit in a queue that long. The bright side is having 24 hour cycles with 100% BP survivor matches. Usually after 10:00PM EST, it is a loooong wait for SoloQ but not these past two Killer drops. I'm thankful I like both roles.

Well see idk how to handle it. I just go about my business repairing but Ghostface literally stands right behind you and can grab you at any time. Should I run? They just keep chasing you but not hurting you (unless they're faking).

Aliens 👽 were all I saw for two full weeks after release. Chucky is all I'm seeing now as well. I can't say the same for the previous few killers though. I already have every Tier 3 perk on him and have him P3 but simply do not have the patience. As long as the BP bonus is 100% somewhere, I'm happy 😊

I was trying to buy those for him about two hours ago. Literally took me like 10 minutes to find the cozy cosmetic because I kept looking at the Purple ones and checking my filters. I was shocked when I saw it was Green.

Well... the only addons who do things are the two Iridecent. Every other addon is... not good.
I find the yellow addons that let you hear the repair sounds from 8 meters further away most helpful. When I'm about to pip to a new grade (Gold I to Iri IV for example) I'll use one. I play with PS5 headphones so it really helps believe it or not.

I am a Freddy main. I wish we had the original Freddy (Robert Englund) as a skin. He would totally do voice lines as Brad Dourif did for Chucky.
I like Freddy because he's simple and I play on Nintendo Switch so playing killers with powers like Huntress, Trickster and Singularity are beyond embarrassing.
I would just like some good add-ons. I usually play him with none.

Yes, everytime you hook a non obsession, the obsession is exposed for 20 seconds and their aura revealed for 10 seconds. Everytime you hook an obsession, another random survivor becomes the obsession and screams.
I guess this is the per to use for Tome Challenges to kill the obsession then.

Calm spirit isn't really worth it. It picks a random person to become the obsession when you hook the obsession, meaning that you only have a 1/3rd chance of the scream part even working. Not worth a perk slot. Especially since the way the perk works you actually generally want to specifically ignore your obsessions. Meaning you generally don't want to actually go for the person that just screamed if you can avoid it.
What happens if the killer hooks the obsession for their 3rd hook ? Does another survivor still become the obsession? Is it endless?

The only way to counter this perk is by running both Distortion and Calm Spirit, correct?
Distortion for the aura and calm spirit for the scream?
I am having a horrible time against this perk lol. I can't wait to use it myself though 👹

Omg BHVR, you have to be trolling me! Just had a match with BOT Elodie.
She left Leon on his second hook to die, then when my friend was on her 1st hook, the BOT literally face camped her, then body blocks me from unhooking !
I was able to thankfully get her off the hook eventually.
Chucky watched the whole thing, and hunted her down.
We left the BOT to die on 1st hook and Chucky let us repair and escape which I was very grateful for since I was doing the escape with Feng Min challenge.

Like the title of this thread says, these BOTs are enough to send ya.
I could feel my blood boiling as I saw her just face camp my friend (thankfully I had Kindred)

If you think Artist is using more than one to check on things, rather than offense, then she can't hit you in time for a follow up bird, keep it in mind and don't panic if you get swarmed if you think she used multiple ones. Many newer Artists tend to use multiple ones, and the more experienced one usually use one at a time so they can capitalise on swarms.
I always check her perks and add-ons, the last maybe 3 or 4 matches she has had nothing that would reveal my aura but I'm reading her power now. See the second to last paragraph? "... and reveal nearby Survivors using Killer Instinct."
What counts as "nearby" ? 10 meters, 20? Maybe that's what's happening to me?
The thing is I'll be alone, nowhere near a generator or hooked survivor, and then I get hit with a swarm.
