You will have to use Killers that have them in their base kit. Michael and Freddy don't have this ability as part of their power, so no, you can't use these Killers to do your archive.
Do survivors have any perks or ways to avoid it at all?

I have to record with my cell phone in one hand because I play on Nintendo Switch.
You don't need a recording of the entire match. I just record when I'm being grieved on hook.
It does suck that I need my camera ready to roll every Survivor match but it's worth it if we all do it because the players will get perm banned if they offend multiple times.

The only solution would be to buff the weaker killers so you're not at an auto disadvantage if you decide to try playing as Pig, Myers,Ghostie, Freddy, etc etc.
No amount of bloodpoint bonuses would be enough to get someone to play current state freddy that just feels like a weaker clown.

Nope it only gives a small amount of terror radius I believe 22%.
I suppose it would be annoying to hear through the entire match

I feel like it would be better for game's health. Ruin & Undying was fine combo. It gave reason to killers leave hooks and pressure on gens. And DS was nice protection for survivors whenever killers try to tunnel.
I loved 200% Ruin. I never tried DS because I believe it is dependent on hitting a 'Great' skill check and therefore turns me off from ever running it. I'll take Old Ruin.

FTP is great if you have a self heal build and resilience. You can injure yourself by instantly healing a teammate and get 9% gen repair speed, heal yourself 99% and do gens.

Those who do not want it shown at all before trial prolly won't like it showing up in some player card that can be opened up, let alone as any option.
Those who wish to flex their prestiges and show them off prolly want no changes at all, or failing that as that very option.
My own personal vote would be to remove lobbies altogether, just load directly in. Doing so would allow their MMR system its best shot at a fair-ish match, plus nicely eliminate that last second swapping bs survs can still do for some reason.
Removal of lobbies would ruin the game for me. I use the information as both killer and Survivor to determine which (if any) items and addons I will bring as well as which perks I would or would not use.
I also need to be able to dodge lobbies with trolls since we can't ban across platforms who we play with.

I hate LP. I think it's the most unfair perk in the game.
This idea that it should be restricted from certain killers bothers me more though.
Also, this sort of discrimination of which killers can use which perks wouldn't end there. It would be a new fight in the forums every hour about "Killer A can't use Perk X."

The Bubba and Trapper mains would assemble in the basement, decorating and fortifying it. The Pig mains could be found in a circle booping each others snoots. You'd recognise the Clown mains from anywhere by the devilish concoctions they mix and their laughter ringing through the halls. Don't come too close though! They are known to throw bottles at intruders.
The Wesker mains would do what they do best, throwing around one liners and staring at the Chris mains, making them more than a little uncomfortable. The Doctor mains would mingle with them and giggle at every single one of their jokes. No exceptions. I know, shocking. Demodoggo and Xenokitty mains could be found in most intellectual discussions, easily recognisable by their thoughtful nodding. Hag mains have their own area in the gardens where they would be seen drawing beautiful, meticulous pieces of art in the dirt. Some of the most evil survivor mains would be seen wiping away these drawings, only for all the Hag mains to surround them and hiss.
Every so often you may stumble upon a Myers main biding their time and staring at the survivor mains, but it's best to leave them to it. They may start slow but they'll be all the more active later. The Legion mains would mingle with the survivors and for the first time in their lives nobody would scream: "Imposter!" whenever they are around.
Oni and Plague mains would be the first to fall out of line. Oni mains tend to get aggressive when they are drunk while Plague mains... Well, let's just say I wouldn't want to be responsible for cleaning afterwards. Nemesis and Pyramid Head mains would argue about who has the worse addons. Until at one point the 2 Twins mains on this planet would chime in with their little brothers announcing their arrival.
Sadako mains would gather around the mansion's TVs and stare angrily at anyone who puts one of the tapes into the old video player. Needless to say, they'd cut all the signal beforehand, so the video players are the only way to actually watch any movies. The only movies available would have Nic Cage as the main actor.
In typical DBD fashion, we'd have lockers scattered throughout the mansion. Every so often you'd see a Dredge main coming out grabbing a huge plate piled up with food from the buffet, devour it all instantly and disappear again. At least until night falls...
Knight and Pinhead mains could be found arguing about who has more bugs with Chucky mains backing their arguments up with the occasional insult. The Ghostface and Nea mains could be found around a corner making fun of them and partaking in a squats competition.
Artist and Deathslinger mains would carry out an epic battle of ink crow shooting. The Adam mains would fit in perfectly with their tendencies to throw around pebbles. Nic Cage mains would steer clear of that area. The Freddy mains would be there for the afterparty of our dreams.
In the main room we'd have a set of huge thrones for our overlords, the mighty BHVR devs surrounded by their most loyal servants, mythical beings known as mods. The halls would be decorated with paintings of the finest memes like a hockey puck and a crying pig face with the words: "Nerf Pig".
This is so beautiful. Brings a smile to my face ☺️ and a tear to my eye.

To your point about the prior gen machines, it should be remembered the vast majority of the playerbase is on the consoles. And something like half of those are still toiling away on those older models worldwide, primarily the PlayStations.
This and things like M&K support and Cross Progression all keep being brought up mostly because of the glaring disparity in game performance. That performance should not be as drastic and pronounced as it is between super strong PC's and well everything else, including lower end PC's.

The best perks in this game imo are the free ones. The only character perk I use is prove Thyself. Everything else is garbage or situational imo.
Edit: for survivors this is. I'm too tired to think about killers at the moment.

I feel so heartbroken right now. I put 4,100 hours in but I can't do this anymore.
If I'm a Survivor and we go to certain maps, I'm detrimental to my teammates because the game slows down so much that you are likely to miss skill checks easily.
It burns thinking I could have bought a PS5 with the money I've spent on this game alone 😔

Seriously? This was a promise? I remember cross-progression being one but not this. I guess there literally is no hope then. I can't believe how much money I've spent on this game. I bought every piece of DLC and hundreds of dollars worth of auric cells over the years.

I wouldn't say illegal, but the Switch version needs a disclaimer stating that it has abysmal performance on the platform. Of course, BHVR can say it in a much nicer way, but at this point it's only getting worse.

That wouldn't work. Any player that would dodge a P100 will dodge someone optionally hiding their prestige assuming they are hiding their P100 status.

DBD is a live service game. So long as Nintendo supports the Switch the devs support it as well, unless the game becomes actually unable to run on a Switch.
That's the thing. Switch lost two live service games this year because the hardware is so far behind.

It needs it more than the desert needs the rain. With the game getting bigger and bigger and Nintendo not releasing a next gen console that we can upgrade to, I really wouldn't be surprised if BHVR stops supporting Switch. Then we are really screwed.
