David isn't beating Billy
First off, Billy crushed a guy's head with his bare hands. And killed a couple of deputies and trained police dogs also with his bare hands. He also has enough strength to grab cow carcasses and throw them in a tree, Billy obviously did that. The cows didn't get there themselves, and we know he has a habit of decorating his farm with animal caracasses keep in mind the average cow carcass weighs 750 pounds, and the average cow weight 1,200, he threw multiple dead cows in a tree, on his own, yeah, David's gonna die.
Not too mention he has a chainsaw, and is incredibly fast.

Just ignore em, if you don't pay attention to the obvious bait they'll eventually get bored and stop.

Honestly, I don't want anymore continuation chapters, I'd rather behaviour experiment with new licenses than having them retread old ground. There's plenty of amazing licenses that aren't in the game yet.

I encountered a few cheaters a while back on Hawkins, but other than that I don't think I've seen any. Although that may be because I'm inattentive when it comes to things like spotting subtle cheaters.

I just wanted to say that the gif is absolutely hilarious

Happy Holidays, from one Freddy main to another 👍

Happy holidays fellow freddy enjoyer and switch player
Hopefully the entity will bless us with good tidings and give freddy a buff in 2024.

They changed practically nothing, still a miserable map to play on. Luckily I never get it though. Whenever I'm sent there via offering my wifi router mysteriously bursts into flames, thus shutting off my internet and disconnecting me from the match. Very strange.
-
Brutal strength, it doesn't save you that much time but it feels nice to have. Mad grit, this perk has saved me so many games. And, thrilling tremors. I have this perk on most of my builds, it's such an underrated tracking perk that synergizes with a lot of other perks. The only thing holding it back is the long cooldown.
-
Probably Dead Dawg, i like the wild west vibes, and it's an easy layout to remember. Also, the sunset looks really nice.
-
As a Nintendo switch chucky player, I wasn't going to get any 180s anyway lol.

The devs let us play survivor in their killer game long enough. Survivor bots will be the norm and killer players get their cake. At least we got a few years of playtime. Right?

"m1 killer" doesn't really narrow it down. You can loop a Myers, Wraith or Pig normally, while it'll be painful to try against Knight or Skull Merchant. Yet these are all m1 killers. Hell, even just specifying the killer doesn't help necessairly, as you may or may not be able to loop a Dredge or a Clown, depending on how good is the player, and what build they use.
But if you miss looping, the last two are great examples of killers who can counter holding W and force survivors into loops once mastered. You may want to focus on powers that discourage chaining tiles, while not make looping very hard.
Yeah I could be a bit more specific, so I will be. Most of the killers have been playing recently are as follows Trapper, Myers, Freddy, Sadako, Hag (is she technically an m1 killer?), Pig, and Wraith. I do want to get into Dredge more, since his remnant seems like a decent anti-loop power and teleworking to lockers is fun, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.
-
@NomiNomad said:
What killer were you playing? There are a fair few killers at this point that kind of negate looping, or at the very lesat make pallets next to useless. If they're at all decent, anyways.
Still an incredibly boring playstyle, but DbD in general has seemed incredibly boring lately.
I play every killer kind of, though most of them as of late have been m1 killer's so I guess I'm kind of asking for it. As you've said, it's still a boring playstyle even when you're playing as a killer who can shred pallets like no tommorow. They drop the pallet, you shred it, hit them, rinse and repeat till they're dead. I'd rather encounter a looper and lose, then go against a pre-dropper and win. Maybe that's just me though.
Also, yeah dbd in general has been very stale on both sides recently. Hopefully they Christmas event will spice up the game play.

Just like the easy camp/tunnel strategy, this is just a other strategy. It works, so why not? This is how the game is intended to work.
Just because "it's a strategy" doesn't mean I should like it. Also, camping and tunneling are usually just as boring as pre-dropping.
-
To be completely honest I've stopped trying to go for curves with Billy, I just use him as an m1 killer that can break pallets fast and has mobility. Curving just doesn't feel fun for me anymore.
Anytime I try to curve the survivor just pre-drops and runs to the next loop, even if they do stay I can't get a curve because most tiles suck for Billy nowadays. It just feels like behaviour designs maps specifically to work against Billy, a lot of maps are a nightmare to play on him. He just feels really unrewarding to play, why would I want to invest time in Billy for a minimal reward when I can just invest the same amount of time in blight and get a gigantic reward?
Thus concludes my mini Billy rant, I still love him and he'll always be my favorite killer, but as of right now he feels really clunky, unfun, and unrewarding to play. So in short, I love the cattle hammer. M1 Billy baby let's go
-
I wouldn't call wraith a low tier, maybe a low mid tier but definitely not a low tier. For the rest of the killer's, they'd need complete reworks to actually make them viable. Freddy, Trapper, and Myers come to mind.
-
I really like hillbilly's music.
-
Pinhead is fine, maybe he could use a couple of small tweaks but I don't think he needs them.

The flashlight locker clip is back, apparently.
like, actually, i have seen various people report it on twitter
Yeah, I'm starting to think that's what it was. But hey, I still won. Imagine abusing a locker bug and still getting destroyed by a Nintendo switch chucky.

Did she have a flashlight? The exploit is back where survivors can glitch themselves into a locker and you can't get to them.
Yup, she had a flashlight. I'm guessing what I experienced is the locker bug, I had heard of it before but I didn't know what it was until now.
-
Nah that's not tunneling at all, they're just being salty because they lost. If you actively throw yourself at the killer the entire game, don't be surprised when they chase you. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. As some youtuber I forgot the name of said "If you can't take the chase, don't take the hit." I think I may have gotten the quote wrong, but you get the point.
-
Boil Over
I hate that perk with all the heart and soul in my body, on controller it's so annoying to move when carrying survivors. It doesn't matter very much when carrying them through open spaces, but when you're trying to navigate an indoor map or go through a doorway it's super annoying. I don't mind it when people go in high places to deliberately make it to where you can't hook them, just slug them. Easy Peasy.
-
A naughty bear and chatterer banner/badge are at the top of my list.
-
A full rework for Freddy would be good, his power as of now is boring, weak, and very very bland. This isn't Freddy, it's sharp hand Joe. I would also like a full rework for Myers as well, while I think his power is accurate to the character, he's really outdated and was made for a much different game. Beyond his mori add-ons, Myers basically has nothing to show.
-
I used to use it a lot in a certain Doctor build, called " the really big terror radius doctor". The build was as follows, both of the calm add-ons, jolt, overwhelming presence, distressing, and any random perk you see fit. I stopped using the build and replaced it with another once I realized overwhelming presence was hot garbage.
-
If they brought old coldwind back I'd be happy, I hate how bright coldwind is now. It hurts my eyes, and it kind of hurts the horror vibe that the old map used to have.
-
Yeah, playing this game on switch is kind of a horrible experience. The only reason why I have this game on switch is because I've already bought my fair share of cosmetics and dlcs, I don't want to lose all that.
-
I guess I'll rate them
Tools of Torment- In my opinion this is the worst chapter in dead by daylight by far, bland survivors, bad map, and skull merchant. Who is probably the worst thing humanity has ever made, the perks were okay so I'm giving it a 0.5/10
End Transmission- A pretty cool chapter that introduced Sci fi horror into dbd, singularity is awesome albeit hard to play, Gabriel is cool, and the perks are pretty okay when you ignore things like made for this. 7/10
Nicholas Cage- It's Nicholas Cage, need I say more? Jokes aside, a really great survivor only chapter. 9/10
Alien- This dlc brought us a pretty decent map, a pretty cool survivor, and a killer I have a lot of thoughts about. I like xeno, it's awesome, but xeno being horrible on console brings it down a bit for me. 7/10
Return of Stranger Things- This is just an old chapter returning, so I'm not giving it a rating.
Chucky- One of my favorite horror movie killer's, what can I say? Chucky is awesome. An amazing power, fun to play as, and most importantly he swears. You can't have chucky without the one-liners 10/10
-
A killer that wears one of those old diving suits, or a fish killer could be really cool. Anything underwater themed is something I'd enjoy.
-
I'd like to see the ice cream man, from...ice cream man. I've always loved that goofy horror movie. "Officer, that's just grenadine for my ice cream treats!"
-
I noticed that too, I was loading into a game with bots and I was like "Was freddy always this small?". A bunch of other killers animations in the lobby seemed to be bugged as well, most prominently Bubba and Billy as they both have trappers standing pose.

Those que times listed for survivor or killer?
I haven't played killer yet since Chucky release only survivor. Late evening is always been %100 incentive for survivor with que times being incredibly short.
They're all for killer, can't believe I forgot to mention that lol

When will we get to the time when we delete Chucky from the game? I'm tired of disconnecting from every game he is ridiculously OP. The people who says he is balanced, they're either a liar or they love abusing the OP stuff. At least the stealth mode needs to be removed, or make him taller, I don't care if chucky is a short character. He is literally frustrating to play against.
Lol, lmao even.

I timed a couple of my games queue times the other day, so I'll just put them here.
1st game queue time: 7 minutes and 8 seconds
2nd game queue time: 2 minutes and 54 seconds
3rd game queue time: 3 minutes and 55 seconds
4th game queue time: 4 minutes and 12 seconds
5th game queue time: 4 minutes and 18 seconds
6th game queue time: 4 minutes and 8 seconds
7th game: queue time: 3 minutes and 57 seconds
The first game was on the day chucky released, while the rest were on the second day at around 5am.

The roadmap specifically said blight's add-ons, so I don't think we'll be seeing any changes to his basekit. Of course, things can change and nothing is set in stone, but as of right now it doesn't seem like they plan on touching his basekit.

Checking on a gen, running behind a wall, activating Hidey-Ho, and watching a survivor go back to the gen. That's when the fun begins.

If there was a best comment award, this would win it.

trust me, we all would want ANY player cards at this point, how did bhvr think releasing a feature with 1 singular player card was a good idea?
I have no clue, I thought that'd have at least 1 icon for every killer depending on if you own them or not, but we don't even have that. The chucky icon is cool and all, but it feels really bare bones right now. I don't know why they hyped it up so much in the stream just to add barely anything.
-
When I played him earlier I used pop, brutal, two can play, and thrilling tremors. I thought the build was pretty fun, that's probably because I have an unhealthy obsession with thrilling and brutal though lol

I think it would make a bit more sense if it played upon downing a Survivor, makes it seem like he is hyping himself up or something, it also keeps it in line with other Killer powers like Demogorgan's roar or the Nightfall Chanting of Dredge.
Actually now that I think about it, I would actually like that a lot. It still keeps Billy's funny scream, and honestly, him roaring when downing a survivor makes much more sense than him roaring when starting to rush. I never really though of that before lol
-
Same, teabagging is a good way to make me ignore you for the majority of the match.
-
This might be unpopular, but I really enjoy Billy's scream. It adds a lot more character to him, and honestly, it's quite funny.
-
Honestly I just want hillbilly to play a role in the movie, it doesn't even have to be substantial, if he's there at all I'll be happy.
-
As long as I get a decent amount of blood points, I don't really care if I win or lose.
-
I think Malignant would be cool, I really enjoy that movie and Gabriel could make a really unique and fun killer.

They could make that you don‘t need ps+ like Fortnite and Apex etc.
Fortnite didn‘t require it since the start.
That's mostly because those games are free.
