I would 100% play a dead by daylight fighting game, I've always loved fighting games. I'd main hillbilly I feel like he'd make a really good grappler.
-
Give me blighted Bubba and I'll never complain about the game ever again
-
Mad grit, and spies from the shadows.
-
My fellow switch player, I commend you for your will power, but at this point I've completely given up on switch optimization. If behaviour ever planned on doing it, they would have done it by now. I hope one day they actually decide to fix the game on switch, but I doubt they'll ever do it.
-
This is my other cat Polly, she's also pretty cool.
-
For sore winners in games I'll just respond with something like "when the highlight of your life is winning in [insert game here]" Usually that does the trick, luckily I don't deal with a lot of toxicity in dbd, mostly because I play on switch. The people I have actually talked to after the match have been really kind and friendly.
-
The forum notifications seem to be bugged at the moment, that's probably the issue.
-
Jason, Candyman, Pennywise, and Predator, that's my list.
-
I don't mind it that much anymore to be honest, it's not like I'm the one wasting my time sitting at the gate waiting to t-bag someone in a game.
-
A follow up chapter for texas chainsaw massacre based on the second movie could be fun. I've always really enjoyed the second tcm movie, it's really weird, but a fun kind of weird. The killer could be Chop Top, the survivor could be Stretch, and the map could be the amusement park most of the movie took place in. Imo tcm got done a little dirty, I think it could use a new chapter.
I know it probably won't ever happen, but a fanboy can dream. Tbh I don't really want another follow up chapter for RE, there's already enough RE content in the game as is. I feel the same way for silent hill, I wouldn't mind another stranger things chapter, but I wouldn't say I'd be excited for it either.

My forum name is just my real name lol
I couldn't think of anything

Here's one of my cat's, her name's shamu. She's pretty cool

I guess they think you're trying to be sarcastic by saying gg? I honestly don't know,, it's hard to tell what they're thinking. You could say anything and they'd think it was toxic.
-
Yeah, we do have it pretty rough. The game runs slow, the view distance is horrible, the fps dips quite frequently, the maps are incredibly dark, and the game overall looks like doodoo. Honestly the only reason why I still play on switch is because I have a lot of stuff on there, I really don't want to start over again.
-
The best is probably Bubba, he's a dude with a chainsaw, it's not that hard to make an accurate adaptation of him. He swings the chainsaw like he does in the movies, he throws tantrums like he does in the movies, 10/10 adaptation.
The worst is Freddy, there's so many unique things they could do with him, yet they decide to give him dream snares and dream pallets. Really lame.

i cant get through darkwood and i have tried so many times, the artstyle and sound design makes it so scary
That's precisely why I love darkwood, it's horror doesn't rely on cheap tricks or jumpscares, but it's built up using the atmosphere, artsyle, sound design and general creepiness of the enemy designs. You're always thinking about what could be lurking beyond your view, with all those screams and roars it could anything.
I get not being able to get through it though, I myself couldn't get through it when I first started playing. The game can be downright terrifying sometimes, especially at night. I had to watch markiplier's entire playthrough of it before I got the guts to finish it lol.

That's the thing. Switch lost two live service games this year because the hardware is so far behind.
I'm actually kinda curious now, what live service games did the switch lose?
-
This will never happen, but The Protagonist or The Wolfman from Darkwood would be cool additions. Darkwood is my favorite horror game ever made and honestly, I wish it got more attention.
-
As someone who's stuck playing on switch, yes. Please, I'd buy the game on ps4 but I have so much stuff on the switch, I really don't want to start over again.
-
Sprint Burst and Lithe are completely fine, I actually enjoy playing against those perks most of the time.
-
Coming from someone who hates trickster with a passion, All of the changes are good except for the main event one, I have no idea why they thought it was a good idea to implement that.

If you let me eat a tub of ice cream in the basement while watching Beavis and Butthead I'm in

Definitely harder to play, for sure. I know I certainly don't play as well I do on PC as either Killer or Survivor. When I'm frenzying with The Legion, it's much harder to effectively chain hits and it makes me not want to play my main quite so often. Good news for the Survivors that hate them, I guess.
When you consider that the Switch version is essentially the mobile gaming port of the game, it's a little easier to forgive its sins. But it's still the worst version of the game. That said, I would absolutely continue to play and enjoy DBD if I only had a Switch to play it on.
I play on switch, and I can confirm it's definitely playable but nobody should ever look at it if they have another console. The frame drops aren't the worst thing ever, I've played other games on switch where the frames are consistently much worse, but the view distance is the real problem. Dude I cannot see anything, I'm already not that good at tracking survivors because of my poor eyesight, but the switch version makes it much worse. I can physically see the pixels on my screen.
It's so bad that when a survivor isn't right in front of my face I genuinely cannot see them, it's like they've drank an invisibility potion or something. Also everything is way too dark, might just be my TV though. The darkness paired with the viewing distance makes for a not so fun experience as killer. And the fov seems really low, it's really easy for somebody to spin and cause me to miss. It just feels clunky a lot of the times, that's why I almost always run shadowborn on all killers. Although, the fov could just be a problem with base dbd in itself.
-
The matchmaking probably
I'll be matched up with a full p100 sweat squad with meta perks while I'm a level 10 demogorgan with 2 green perks and no add-ons.
-
As the other 3 comments have said, none of the examples you have mentioned are "toxic" it's just playing the game in an effective, yet annoying way. Camping is not toxic, Tunelling isn't toxic, Using an effective build with meta perks isn't toxic, Waiting out endurance isn't toxic, and Slugging isn't toxic. Yes, they are annoying and extremely unfun at times, but playing a game in an effective manner is not, and will never be "toxic".
-
I've noticed that I run into a lot of teabaggers whenever I play demo, and only demo. Whenever I play another killer it's just normal games, but the second I switch to demo I get paired up with a team who will teabag as if their life is depending on it.
-
I don't know if this is a hot take or not, but boil over is annoying and it basically only hampers the performance of players on console and anybody playing on controller. I don't think the perk is op or anything, I just personally hate it.

Keep up this trend I will happily not play if all there is is gen sim and killer melee sim.
The dbd community at it's finest.

I know this comment is a bit overplayed, but, I couldn't have said it better myself. Freddy is so weak right now, he has been for a pretty long time. I just wish they'd give him something, whether it be a complete rework, an add-on pass, or the ability to have snares and pallets. As of right now, he has nothing. He's just a worse version of the clown and some other killers.
-
I feel so bad for him because I love Freddy, he is still my main to this day despite his horrible state. There's so many things they could do with his powers, and the fact that it's so boring and weak right now annoys me. He's Freddy Kruger, a horror icon, my boy doesn't deserve to be neglected this way even if he is the remake version of Freddy.

It would certainly be more funny than Adam Sandler himself.
Agreed, I think Adam Sandler's presence in a show, or a movie, or a video game, is ultimately more funny than Adam Sandler himself.
-
Kind of? I mostly use bots as a practice round to get going for the day, I'll play one or two bot games to get my mojo flowing. That being said, bots can be annoying at times. Sure, they're kind of dumb and you can beat the bots pretty easily, but they can see you through walls and will hold W as soon as they hear your terror radius.
But there are some benefits to bots, you can turn your brain off with them, test a killer you haven't played, get used to some of the mechanics, and you don't have to deal with toxicity. But I think them not being real people holds them back, nothing can simulate the experience of playing with another human, it's kind of impossible. So I'd say, sometimes, yes, other time's, no.
-
If they added Adam Sandler that'd be pretty funny
Edit: I totally misread the post and thought it said actor lol. I think it'd be cool if they added Jamie Lee Curtis or Heather Langenkamp
-
The fact that they nerfed Freddy kind of astonishes me, but considering this is behaviour, I probably shouldn't be surprised. Maybe King Wolfe killed a dev or something with Freddy and that's what brought this on, idk.
-
I'd say probably not.
-
Do it again, sin more.
-
Demo is way too high, he's either a high c tier or a low b tier. He's nowhere near as good as some of the killers he's above. I'd personally put him below Ghostface and I'd put knight up a few spots.
-
Considering the last couple maps have been like this I'm kind of used to it by now, I doubt they'll start making better maps anytime soon.

Singularity's name is literally HUX-A7-13, as it was manufactured at Huxlee Industries Ltd, with A7 being the 13th iteration of a humanoid robot. Aka, it's called Hux in their lore, but if you arent a lore person it can be something you skip over easily.
I usually don't read the base lore of killers so I'm not surprised I missed that, usually I wait until the killers tome to come out before I decide to consider reading the lore.
-
I see a lot of people call it hux, have no idea where that came from. Rapidmain calls it the goop man, so that's what I call it.
-
That's weird, I haven't had a problem with that today. If it does become an issue I'm sure they'll fix it quickly.
-
Couldn't agree more, I don't care how strong he is I just wish he was more fun and less frustrating to play.
-
He only has 7 minutes to spare, rip weskuh.
-
Yeah I noticed that earlier, it looks strange. And I don't like it at all, hope they change it back.
-
Thanks pal, you're a real one.
-
Deathslinger into the Wolfman from darkwood, darkwood is my favorite horror game ever made so I just thought it would be cool. Admittedly it doesn't very much sense I just really like darkwood.
-
I think it would be cool, they'd make pretty good prestige rewards once you get up there in your prestige. It's certainly better than nothing.
