I tried tunneling them out, but it turns out they were both running the combo, so while I was focused on one, the other would heal up, and I'd have to deal with the combo all over again. It's pretty disgusting.
Don't hate the player, hate the game.

There were sooo many hilarious glitches from back in the earlier DBD years.
One made all the Survivors gigantic and they took up the entire screen😄
Another fav was Survivors getting unhooked and then floating around appearing as tho still hooked.
There was a really cool audio bug on GF where revealing him was an endless crescendo of that SFX but after 20 sec or so the server would disconnect. That one was actually kinda freaky.
Always was silly seeing Survivors and Killers randomly stuck on the edge of mounds in Auto Wreckers, just standing there spinning in circles.
DBD has come a very long way since the days of not only constant bugs, but really over the top glitches. Devs have done extremely well on that front.
I need pics of the gigantic survivors 😆

I had a Pig tonight and one the other night that didn't use their stealth ability. If other Pig players would also refrain from going Undetectable, my heart would appreciate it 😆

Nancy's Justice Seeker outfit but with the default hair, sometimes mix it up with the Christmas sweater.
For Trapper I'm rocking the Heatwave outfit 😛
Nancy looks 😍 in that!

I only have friends that I made playing the game. Therefore, we never met in real life and can't communicate via discord. Should we be punished too when we play together?

Honestly I wish they'd do that with some hexes as well. Hex: Huntress Lullaby is horrible because it's immediately shown as active when the round starts and when I actually get value from it, it feels like a good hex otherwise.
It's a great hex, especially on backwater swamp. I can never find it when the killer plays it on that map.
Edit: Just had a Trapper send us there using that perk lol 😆

Why would you put your controler in the freezer? Whats the point?
To cool down the grips and trigger buttons. It's like a nice arctic chill on my hands, all refreshed and ready for the next match. The chill effects don't last long but it's worth it.

I think we need to stop mislabelling farming as playing “nice”.
It’s perfectly fine to play to win there is nothing inherently “un-nice” about that.
There are just people on both sides who can't accept loss and equate losing with the opponent not being nice.
It’s a sick way to view gaming and results in people really upsetting themselves over the game and engaging in a lot of toxicity as a result.
I agree. I just wanted to make my point but you're right.

Nah.
With enough time comes routine.
When I start my usual 5 rounds of pig, I start swinging my camera a roar a lot while slowly moving towards surviors.
I'm just happy to play another round of piggy.
I'm concentrated, not sweaty.
Stop ✋️
You know I'm afraid of The Pig
I tremble with terror as Survivor and have been since 2020. I don't think I'll ever be able to handle her stealth 😕

@burt0r said:
Well, killer has to micro- and macromanage against 4 people with non stop action.
Couple that with the goal of winning or rather killing as many as possible and it is no wonder that it's the physically more stressful role in the game and you naturally end up sweating.
Exactly. Even in tense matches as Survivor, I never sweat. My heart races sometimes but nothing like playing killer.
-
@mikewelk said:
I wish I had the patience to do something like that to be honest...
If you have two controllers, you can have one in the freezer while you play a match, then just keep swapping them each match. Just don't forget it's in there!

It does glow in the dark, so if you're someone who does a lot of stealth game play, might not help, but otherwise it doesn't affect your overall character.
Damn it! It doesn't glow in the dark on Nintendo Switch. I'm glad I asked. You should see our exit gate lights 😫

That. I play mostly solo so one perk is almost always taken up by Kindred. I can't think of a notable match where self unhook did much, besides keeping the killer camping for too long -- but just enough so it's either a trade or you're dead.
But yeah a lot of my matches today people were killing themselves on hook when they were downed first or just in general. It's par for the course but it did seem like more than usual.
Same here and yeah, I think people are doing it significantly more since Chucky. I don't think that it's because of him but rather his aura reading perk. I notice people start giving up in those matches.

More of a player issue than a distortion one. I am also not a fan of left behind/sole survivor with key and hiding in locker until you're the last one. If you nerf distortion these players will still play selfishly, they'll just find another perk to use and hide in lockers more.
I dodge every SoloQ lobby if someone has a key. No exceptions.

That's a good question cause I have the same doubt, hope some mod is gonna answer for clarification.
Yeah, like why is it a secret? It's pretty frustrating.

Pretty sure it's a meme description and there's no visibility change on your character, other than the fact you're holding a slightly flashier medkit

She destroyed the franchise. As far as I'm concerned, Andy threw Chucky into the giant fan at the end of Child's Play 3 and was never seen again. I love the Child's Play Trilogy but hate with a passion everything that came after. Ugh. I really want the badge 😫

I'd love base kit Kindred. I don't need the self unhook.

I play a lot of Legion so i’m used to it but seriously it’s getting ridiculous. Had 5 different games last night where someone either DCed or killed themselves on hook over a minor inconvenience. I use Plot Twist mid-chase? Killer DCs. The killer is Wesker? Teammate kills themself on first hook. I bodyblock a pallet with Legion? Dwight kills himself. People giving up over literally anything on both roles. Is this something that you guys are noticing more of or did I just get unlucky matches?
Yes, definitely.

I know what you are thinking "another Killer main complaining about Distortion because their Aura Reading is nullified", but honestly, I dont mind it when playing as Killer.
My main issue with Distortion has to do with Survivor gameplay.
Distortion is not necessarily an issue by itself, but it enables a selfish playstyle from the Survivor's end in which they basically throw the entire team under the bus for their own Survivor, I personally see it as being similar to Left Behind and Sole Survivor.
Since the Killer is not seeing the Survivor's Aura from Distortion, they often dont get chased. I find in matches that dont have Distortion, it leads to situations in which Killers are more likely to tunnel since they cannot find other Survivors, sometimes it isnt even intentional tunneling either, it just kind of happens due to awful hook spread caused by the perk.
Often I see Survivors who use Distortion just hiding for most of the game, they never take chase, rarely go for Safe Unhooks, and often never take protection hits or help protect their teammates who are being tunneled.
Overall, I just really hate being forced to deal with it, my SoloQ matches are rough enough, I dont need it being made worse by a single perk.
So yea... is Distortion OP like people say?
No, far from it, it's actively throwing the team under the bus. Id argue it's a bad perk that should be changed to encourage a more active and supportive role on the team like old WGLF.
I just equipped it. I'm still Altruistic, still running We'll Make It, but every killer seems to be using Friends Til The End. I don't feel I have a choice. If survivors aren't running it, it's basically a game of swap hooks until everyone is dead.

I love these maps! They are currently my favorite and I hardly get sent there anymore in either role.

It already takes 45 seconds to respawn when the box is solved and then it takes 90 seconds for the chain hunt to start after spawning. The box doesn't need to take longer to respawn than it already does.
Can you escape SoloQ against him? I have him but never played him. Maybe if I learn how to play him, I'll be better against him 😔
-
@Wexton said:
Pinhead is fine, maybe he could use a couple of small tweaks but I don't think he needs them.
I'll take the timer for the box respawn being increased! Anything!

@egg_ said:
Pinhead is the ultimate soloq basher, he's got a strong chase and requires coordination because of the box. All stuff that is easy to communicate but difficult to tell your soloq teammates
Simple solution: find a swf, cuz pinhead is fine as a killer
Can he see the aura of his box?
-
I'm witnessing this usually after I die. I'll see a Survivor deplete the item, then drop it. I yell at the TV 😆
If they're going to find a chest they should at least keep it until they find one.

That would be amazing. The things I'd give to play on old Haddonfield and Coldwind again. Yes the maps were extremely broken but damn they had an atmosphere that really made me feel like I didn't want to be there. Which is a very positive thing given the premise of the game. Just the visuals alone would be enough for me.
I remember old Haddonfield but what was so special about old Coldwind? I don't think I ever had the pleasure of playing old Coldwind.

@NAVIks said:
I literally don't understand the point of not 99ing, as I said before all the timer does is give the killer free pressure. Opening the gate just makes it to where you get forced out, if solo queue teammates would 99 more people would escape, instead of having the timer pressuring you out and you just leaving teammates for dead, opening immediately seems like a way worse choice to me.
99ing is used to prevent Blood Warden from activating if the killer is using it.

They killswitched flashlights. Return of the locker bs.
Those wanting to do such challenges will have to git reel gud with flashbacks and party streamers etc. for now.
Nevermind I forgot you have to reset for the killswitch to happen.
Mine switched to stun the killer 4 times. I got lucky the first match was a Ghostface that let me hit him.

Bro, I've been destroyed by at least 5 Nintendo Switch Chuckys! I'm always proud of them since I'm a Switch player!

I see threads on here all the time about how much people hate it when killers tunnel, but nobody ever talks about it when survivors do it. Why? Survivors can hard tunnel gens just as much as killers can tunnel survivors. For example.
- Rushing a nearby gen right as the killer picks up a survivor
- Refusing to heal each other or themselves in order to gens
- Completely ignoring totems (and ironically then complaining about NOED at the end)
- Completely ignoring chests
- Not body blocking
- Leaving teammates on the hook to work on gens
These are just a few examples, but in general survivors can "tunnel" their objective just as much as killers can, yet nobody says anything about it.
There's nothing wrong with tunneling but as a Survivor you really don't have anything else to do.
Your odds of escaping in SoloQ are insanely low so I can't blame them or myself for rushing my objective.
In fairness, it is your right to tunnel if you wish. There is nothing wrong with it.
I think nobody mentions the Survivor "tunnelling" because playing survivor and playing killer is almost like playing two completely different games.
Don't let people bother you, play how you wish within the rules of the game. I just thought I'd chime in and shed light on why it seems like a double standard.
-
Please killswitch the flashlights. Social media is full of people showing this off and I have to lobby dodge anybody with a flashlight.

I just got out of a match on auto heaven as chucky, it was pretty...strange. I was chasing this mikaela right? You know, pretty average stuff. She hopped in to lockers a lot, kind of weird. And I SWEAR to you I'm not lying, hands on my knees lord strike me down if I'm lying right now. She would go into lockers and just disappear, at first I thought it was deception since she had that perk. So I was just like "maybe playing too much of this game on switch is driving me crazy"
But nah, I found her in shack and she went into a locker right in front of me. I check the locker, boom, she's gone. I check every single locker in shack and I'm like "Where is she? I literally saw her jump in the locker?" And somehow she's just not at shack anymore. I know people can't help me without actual evidence, but I sadly don't have any. I WISH I could've recorded it, but since I play on the switch version I can't. The only way I can record a match is if I take my phone out and do it manually, and tbh, I didn't expect that to happen so I didn't do that.
I still got a 4k but it was weird, I'm not asking for advice and tbh I'm not even sure if she was cheating, I'm just sharing a story.
Did she have a flashlight? The exploit is back where survivors can glitch themselves into a locker and you can't get to them.
-
@Reinami said:
Matches are super easy again for no reason. Something is going on. Anyone else notice anything?
Yeah, as Survivor I'm only getting baby Survivor teammates. As killer, I'm also getting them. I'm not enjoying either role at the moment.
-
@Komi said:
Nah, I'm immediately booking it to the exit gate, I spend all match being a team player, they can figure it out. 🚶
Also I've seen many die trying to add that 1% because the killer chased them to a gate, so really it's up in the air how worthwhile 99ing is.
Agree here. I have died or had a teammate die because hitting that last 1% can take a second you don't have the luxury to lose when being chased.

In my case is more than three.
Trapper: I know he is one of the weakest killers, but the constant fear of stepping on a trap make me feel very unconfortable when playing against him. The funny thing is he is one of my mains, haha.
Hag: Same reason as Trapper but she is stronger and more annoying.
Ghostface: the constant fear of being marked make me feel very unconfortable when playing against him, you have to spin the camera all the time while in a generator and also a lot of times when you spot him it's too late if he hides decently.
Blight: OP and annoying.
Nurse: Same reasons as Blight.
Clown: Annoying blurry screen all the time, annoying to be forced to predrop a lot of pallets.
Deathslinger: I always have a bad time facing him, I'm not good at dodging his shots.
Huntress: same reason as Deathslinger.
Have you ever played against Trapper one match and then the next match you're paranoid looking for Traps even though he's not the killer this time lol. This happens to me every time! It's embarrassing lol 😆
