I'm a Hag/Clown player when I play killer.
My main perks: Ruin, Dying Light, Monitor and Abuse, and Haunted Grounds.
For some fun, I have a build known as Devious/Heart Attack Hag; it is primarily for farming. Perks are Distressing, Insidious, Corrupt Intervention, and Dark Devotion.

Increasing generator times will also need to have slow down perks to be looked at.
Repairing a single generator should not take a couple centuries.

Poised is a great perk.
Combining with Sprint Burst and maybe Detective's Hunch, you can get to the next generator (or totem) in no time without leaving any scratch marks. It is a good generator build.

Save up and probably look into my first Prestige.
I haven't prestiged yet, since I don't see it really worth it. Perhaps it may change.

Self Care is probably what most would replace it with; however, when used right, Self Care is still a great perk.
I'd probably replace it with Balanced Landing.

Decisive Strike is to prevent tunneling, but can be waited out and rendered useless.
Unbreakable (Maybe Tenacity and Flip-Flop) is to prevent slugging, but you can pick them up immediately to prevent them getting up (or crawling away quickly than you being able to react).
Dead Hard is known to be glitchy and is a exhaustion perk.

Nerfing generator speeds will also need to have the slow generator perks to be looked at as well (Ruin, Thanatophobia, Pop Goes The Weasel, etc.). Perks, such as Corrupt Intervention and Thrilling Tremors, are fine as they don't really slow generators.
Generators taking a couple centuries isn't really balanced and would make games extremely killer-sided.
Generators are fine as is, as killers have perks to slow generators. I am for more objectives for survivors for some more fun than being an M1 simulator. :p

Whenever I see the killer and I'm in an open space... I remain very still and hope they don't see me.

Can be both sided really.
Higher ranks, it can be killer sided if solo (survivor if with friends).
Lower ranks, it is mostly killer sided if solo (about even if with friends)
However, it depends on the map.
Indoor maps (Hawkins, Lery's, Game) heavily favors killer, while outdoor (more particularly Coldwind, unless you're Billy or Huntress, and Haddonfield) heavily favors survivors.
It is more map-sided
Both sides can be equally toxic; I am on neither side and am on my own side.

Intentional deranking pubstomps people who are not better than you, which may result in the people in lower ranks frustrated. It wouldn't really be fair to them.

By deranking intentionally makes survivor queues longer due to the lack of killers. A lack of killers in high ranks are mainly due to intentional deranking (and some migration from killer mains to survivor mains).
