A gun that doesn't hurt the killer but immediately kills another survivor
-
I thought walking left half as many scratches as running, and that crouching left half that again.
-
Honestly if you want to jumpscare, use Myers and start practicing with gengrabs instead of tiering up immediately. He's a really fun stealth killer and honestly pretty good for a killer with no mobility

When I was new to the game yeah (I mean his whole thing was being able to walk all over rank 20s because they're new). I didn't understand how he worked so the idea that i couldn't see him made me panic far more than any other killer.
Nowadays the only thing that truly terrifies me is trapper and that's because I have magnets in my feet. I swear I'm cursed to find the one pallet he actually had time to trap lol.
Ah, fair.
As for the topic, frankly I'd just lose the offering screen altogether.
-
Legion has a consistent winrate and a useful ability, the problem comes with him being boring as hell to use and face. Id say Leatherface needs the most work followed by trapped. Let trapper set traps super fast and carry them all on him(and remove the ability to outright destroy traps) and he'd be in a decent place
-
You were afraid of old Freddy?
-
Leatherface. His power does nothing besides make him prime camping material.
-
I mean they got 5 gens done and found a way to escape. Not really a great example of the key being op.

that is because you don't know how to play him and neither did the person you played against.
No amount of knowing how to play against him made it fun.
-
No, @martin27 is right. One or two will end up being the best and no one will pick anyone else. Worse yet if it's a dlc character.

Actually some of the new killers were strong and good to play with, but they listen to a small% of green and purple rank survivors who complain that there to OP, so they get nerfed to the ground and become un-playable. Freddy, legion, Clown, and Pig were great when they first came out, but... You know what happened.... 🤷♂️
None of those killers we're particularly strong when they came out. Obv Freddy's nerf was unnecessary but let's not kid ourselves here

No, I meant if you get a skillcheck when he is stunned, Freddies power is useless. What I'm saying is that his power is way too reliant on people being asleep but it's too easy too wake up, since no addon reduces skill check chances anymore.
I mean that's just with self care, it's entirely luck that you'll get the skill check, and unlike before he can down you without waiting that 7 seconds of transition. You also waste time you could spend trying to run from him by healing by a pallet.
-
Roblox has a bit less relevance tbh. Also I'm surprised no one's even mentioned the possibility of a Netflix original based on a DbD killer. Obviously not super likely tho
-
Frankly I find their original designs much more interesting than anything licensed. Gives them more creative freedom.
-
Still just a theory though. Theres a number of other things it could potentially be. Nothing has been confirmed and the devs have said nothing because they always say nothing. Any other chapter would also fall on those released dates too, so that's not really a point that makes ST seem any more likely. I'll admit it's easily a possibility but there's 0 confirmation and it could easily be something else.
-
Since when do quotes make a character more fitting for DbD
-
This is all also under the assumption that Stranger Things is coming to DbD in the first place. It seems possible but far from confirmed.
-
Still think Steve or Nancy are the reasonable choices. Also he IS a main character. You can't just call him a background support character because you don't like him cause hes still a main character. And honestly I don't think what character they pick makes an iota of difference with regards to "showcasing itself to the gaming world".
-
It doesn't say it's linked to TR so it's safe to assume it's not.
-
To be fair most slasher movie protagonists aren't known for their moving speeches. In a game about slashers chasing down terrified survivors, Steve or Nancy fit the bill best. Moreso considering their showdown against the Demogorgon in season 1.
-
I do but not necessarily immediately after a hook. I'm not saying PGtW is bad, just that it doesn't fit my playstyle the way Ruin does.
-
It deserved what it got and imo everyone who bought Ash for the perk got what they earned
-
I find everything about Feng Min to be obnoxious, from her voice and cosmetics down to the people who tend to main her

I agree, the few games I have played he seems great, but the problem is that it's so easy too wake up, making him an M1 killer with no power if a survivor wakes up mid chase, which is possible if they stun you with a pallet.
Where did you get that information? If that is happening it's likely a bug
-
I appreciate the passive time gain Ruin gives me without me having to do anything.

What I'm saying is that Joyce was a major part in the major plot running throughout the whole 3 seasons and no-one can deny that because it's a stonewall fact.
Not denying that, but that doesn't make her any more likely to be a survivor than Steve or Nancy
-
@AshleyWB said:
Also can I just say to those of you wanting a Steve. You'll end up with another Quentin. Stoned face, stupid outfit and cheesy feel. A meaningless human being.
Joyce though she is not the strongest but she's a fighter. She would do anything to protect her own and work tirelessly to uncover the truth to shield the ones she loves and cares about from danger.
Steve - Just a normal cliche 80s teen who's in and out of love. You might like his hair but that's about it.
Joyce is my Choice
Not even Hopper will Stopper (stop her)
Honestly Stranger Things is the story of Joyce and her family overcoming evil. Not some lowlife who scoops ice cream for a living.
Counter argument: I want to play as a cute 80s teen.
Also the original season was split into effectively 3 vastly different plotlines. The kids had a sorta SciFi/fantasy coming-of-age story. Steve and Nancy and that other less interesting boy had a creature feature/slasher-esque horror plotline. Joyce and Hopper had a mix of a haunted house story and government conspiracy stuff. Overall Nancy or Steve fit the theme better.

Red paint brush will be nerfed. I guarantee after survivors start crying it'll be nerfed
I doubt it. Considering how many survivors cry about Iridescent Heads and Tombstone I can't see why RPB would get touched

@ClogWench possibly why Scott/Vinc3Vega's channel has really taken-off in the last year is that he's different. Whilst definitely way above-average as a player, people aren't watching to see him win as much as they are to see his hijinks, which are not so overtly toxic as Ochido.
When he does his 'Scaredette' plays, contributing virtually nothing the whole match and still gets out with a pip, it's glorious.
Exactly, similarly with Panda. They all have audiences that expect certain things from them.
-
Content creators make what their viewers want to see. Most of their viewers WANT to see them win, they want to see them run a killer for 5 gens, or 4k a stream sniper SWF group. They make what they know will get views. That's just how it works dude.
-
I've seen it a few times with altruistic survivors. It's on par with most perks now; not meta but you see it occasionally.
-
Black Box looks nasty.
-
Can't play PTB but I like the look of new ######### hands McMike
-
For some stupid reason console refuses to utilize half the buttons on the controller
-
Okay knowing that I don't mind too much. They pile up fast and I don't rely on add-ons generally so I don't mind giving up an add-on slot for Dream Pallets
-
What rarity is the pallet add-on? The pics someone posted aren't loading for me.
-
Can't say I've been disappointed by a killer yet, much less "M1" killers (a stupid term honestly and not something that actually reflects a killers useage)
-
@NoShinyPony said:
I agree with @Peanits . Sight is much more important than sound. Think of all the killers with stealth abilities or perks. You can't rely too much on sound.
You're right, sight is more important. That's why taking away sound can be a strong effect without becoming overpowered. You're forced to rely exclusively on sight and prediction. No TR, no chase music, just sight.

Make noed work like that:
you need to hook survivors at least 8/7/6 times to make noed work.
it is no longer hex based and works until the trial ends
The thing about noed is that it's useful to the killer if they get genrushed. If you get badly genrushed your unlikely to get 6 hooks and then suddenly the perk supposed to help you in that situation is worthless.
-
Getting a survivor in a pincer position between myself and a triggered phantasm trap and predicting which way they'll run to get the hit in on them. Makes me feel like a genius every time
-
This can't possibly be serious
-
You use your perks to accomodate for things you can't otherwise handle. If you get genrushed hard, run Pop or Ruin. Not everyone has to though.
-
It'd be nice to see some of his add-ons get an overhaul if nothing else, yeah

Lmao I'm offering advice dude this isn't a court house. Get off your high horse already.

You expressed an opinion I am asking you to back it up with facts, it doesn't seem too difficult if you have that evidence.
Show me that and I'll gladly learn how to use legion
Frankly your opinion isn't important enough to me to go out of my way to record Legion gameplay for you. If you wanna keep playing him like Wraith be my guest. Just trying to offer some advice.

Show us how to use Legion then, post your gameplay at high ranks, let's see if your words hold any substance
Aggressive much? I didn't say he's top tier, just that he was designed to extend the game by dealing damage to multiple survivors in a short time. Using him just as a fast killer to focus down one person at a time akin to how Wraith plays isn't how he's meant to play.
-
Honestly I just came to accept that different killers excel at different tiers of play. Top tier you have Nurse, Spirit, Hag and Billy. All high skill cap killers with tools to combat survivors at their best. Mid tier you have Myers, Huntress, Legion, Ghostface, Plague, killers with genuinely decent abilities. All take skill to use but rely on Survivors not yet playing optimally to make up for weaknesses. Then you have killers like Doctor, Freddy, Cannibal, Wraith and Trapper who's abilities take huge advantage of survivors not knowing how to deal with them.
