There needs to be few meters of empty space before you can place them down, but you can have it near these objectives.
As for carrying a Survivor, it doesn't metter. I even saw turret firing on Alien while he was carrying someone, nothing happend even 2+ sec firing flames on him.
-
I think the turrets are fine... if you make Alien faster so there is need for countering him in some way.
-
I think they should stop making new Endurance effect perks. It's getting really overhelming and complicated and just... not really balanced. If they keep adding more, might as well give all Survivors 3 health states by default.
-
One perk reguires finding a totem, then spending time booning it and has range limit and gives everyone within the limited range 2% Haste and Killer can disable the perk for a while at least.
The second perk reguires you to be injured (so in every single game and most chases this will happen anyway) to get 3% Haste and you also get shield if you heal someone while injured and every person can run this. You just can't use other direct speed boosting exhaustion perks. It also is best friend with Hope making you almost as fast as the Killer in end game.
Do I need to say more?
-
I wish he is treath. Some form of stealth, map travesal and something to help him in chase in some form. He is very iconic, so I wish he is respect by Survivors (not a weak Killer).
-
How would you change him? Can you go into more details?

that is what nerfs do. they make things that were once useful into pointless to use. that is why MFT posts are funny because they will make a perk that feels good to use into a perk that is not good to use.
It's not funny at all. When something is good to use but overpowered, then we should never change it then? Of course not. Balance should be about making the things just right, not too good but also not too bad.
Now lets not change the topic from OP.

Are you talking about the one that made you silent? Yeah I wasn’t around during that time but I know how broken it was lol.
But isn't the currect version of the add-on pointless to run? If Survivors know you are only coming when they hear you from directional sound and this addon just makes you hear using the power without directional sound, you know you have nothing to worry about. This add-on would then only work againts new Survivors.
-
Did the pre-nerf version made Spirit power being silent while using it if they were within your terror radius? If I remember correctly.
Well I would say it's still decent add-on because it can mess up with Survivors doing gens and such. Unless you want to tell me that nobody is scared of this add-on because if they don't hear the directional sound, she isn't anywhere near, which would indeed make this add-on pointless, only good againts Survivors who don't know how Spirit works.
-
Honestly I think MFT is overtunned, especialy if you compare it with the rest of haste effects for Survivors. It also creates problematic end-game combo imo, Hope + MFT, which is almost impossible to catch someone with Killer that has no mobility power or strong range attack.
That 3% Haste is allready S tier perk but it shouldn't have extra endurance on top imo. That's just too much.

"Maintaning her core gameplay" isn't a point that developers should consider heavily when the character is barely even played. The horrendous usage should encourage them to do heavy changes like this. Besides, these buffs you suggest don't fix the core issue of sadakos condemn playstyle where you are just slugged all game. The changes in ptb do. A very healthy change imo.
Yea but they decided to make her condement a joke more than ever. Her TVs can be offline for majority of the match and she takes forever to build stacks while Survivors take few seconds to remove it while also hindering her whole map presence, the only really good thing she had.

It seems to be back now, thank you for your patience while it was being looked into! And appreciate you were writing the feedback @Chocolate_Cosmos I hope it won't be a hassle to rewrite it, we'd love as much thoughtful PTB feedback as can be given! ❤️
Thank you for quickly restoring it back. It's fine because I saved the text from before, so nothing was lost.
-
Don't get me wrong but I wish Sabo will never be a strong or meta perk. It's so annoying for the Killer when hooks are being sabotaged in your face and it just forces the Killer so slug everyone.
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
You are acting like killers will not get buffs lol.
Last mid-chapter nerfed med-kits, self-heal and the best survivor perk (DH).
Now this mid-chapter nerfed Prove and BNP.
Probably they will nerf toolboxes as well in future mid-chapters.
And killers will get buffs as well if they underperform.
That's how games are works. Devs saw camping is really problematic and decided to fix this. If they see killrates drops to down, they will look killer issues as well, like how they did in past.
My point is, camping and tunneling will be nerfed in future and then Killers will be buffed I think. It's like a prediction, a quess.
-
I don't think so. Killers play the same (some tunnel, some camp, some play friendly) and me I sometimes feel like wanting to win and sometimes I want to give them win.
-
I don't think people will run it. It will still be niche very rare perk as before.
-
Before I start, I will say that I quite enjoy Artist from time to time and I like to go againts her and yes, she is towards the bottom of pickrate, even tho she is strong Killer.
- People usualy play her as drop crows on the loop and force Survivors to run somewhere else. This is the part that Survivors don't like (even tho a lot of Killers do this, but nvm). So I think many Killer players find this not so fun since you are just following Survivors until you hit them.
I think good Artists will try for long range sniping and that's pretty good on her and fun too. However I think just most people find her "too simple" (not because she is easy to play), meaning she just isn't that interesting.
-
At least David got some recolors in rifts, unlike TWINS...
-
I think I can allready see tonight so many people saying how bad these changes are and how worse she feels.
You give her passive build up of condement from her teleports, but you also increase the counterplay to her tapes by like 300% and also making her teleport more limited. What's the point then? Also her chase is the same. Her best addons will be worse for sure. It's like you give her a dinner and then make her starve for a week.

How many TV in totals in a match?
1 per each Gen. So 7 I think.
-
@C3Tooth said:
make those Scourge hooks unable to sabo would be nice
Oh that would be much better change or maybe make the hooks aura like 16-24 meters. Something big since it is limited.
-
@C3Tooth said:
I still dont know, if survivor take the tape from TV A and put it in TV B. Do both TVs have cooldown? Or just one of them?
Both. At least that's how it works now and I belive it is the same. So you turn of two TVs for 90 seconds instead of 60 seconds while also being immune from her teleport condement. Even if she finds you and hook you, you get 2 stacks (team gets 1). You can then easily get another tape and remove all that has been just done + another TV's offline. It sounds bad.
-
The more I think about it... the worse it gets. If you can hold tape to remove lot of condement and be protected from her projection and you can now apply it to any TV... then it is easy then ever to just waste few seconds to turn off TV for 90 seconds and easily remove any condement, or hold the tape, sit on gen and then just quickly remove condement and turn TV off...
-
Hmmm these changes are interesting but also bit worrying. Need to be tested tomorrow. I feel like in some ways it looks better but in others it is way worse and SWF will be even stronger againts her.
-
@I_CAME said:
Is his basekit fine tho? He has the best chase power in the game and the best mobility. A mechanic that prevents him from immediately rushing across the map and downing someone 5 seconds after a hook would be completely fair. He should have some sort of weakness rather than him being god tier everywhere like he currently is.
Yes, his base kit is totaly fine. He doesn't need nerfs. He is one of the best killers in the game by desing, just his add-ons are way too much for what he can allready do.
-
@katoptris said:
I'm surprised it last this long
Yea, it's insane. He has so many overpowered add-ons. Killer with such great base power shouldn't have such add-ons. Look at Artist, her base power is really good, however her add-ons are okay at best. That's what Blight should have as well. It's nice Spirit is getting some of her problematic add-ons changed, but why her? She isn't that popular anymore, almost nobody talks about her besides Rin mains of course but she gets addons pass sonner than him, while being complained about daily.
-
Nothing. I don't hate her anymore since she can't just run stupid builds like Agitation + Starstruck and her best addons were changed. I think since then I don't have much problem with her. Its just it is not much interesting match, even tho she is very unique killer.
-
Haste after exiting locker sounds very good.
I would like if they nerf a bit the faster locker exit (when the locker is locked) and the skull addon that makes nightfall charge faster per injured player and put that difference into his base kit.
-
@Saiph said:
Skull Merchant is such a giant red flag, it's very unrealistic to expect a fair game. It's just basic psychology. No reasonable person likes this killer, on both sides. So if you're facing someone who picks her, especially during anniversary, then you're most likely against a maniac. The SM player either plans to ruin your day or hold you hostage. There's a reason why your teammate DC'd
(btw please don't unhook in a 3v1 your teammate almost certainly wanted to get out)
This doesn't apply for all players. It's so easy to just stereotype and put everyone in one bag. For example, I like to play SM sometimes but I don't want 40 min game, I usualy run haste build or haste addons anyway.
-
Every Killer has situation where is impossible or near impossible to avoid getting hit. Knight also doesn't have any too strong addons.
-
Best counter is playing Civilization 5.
-
Sadako is A tier Killer that has anti-loop power in a form of invisibility to trick Survivors on loops. She has the best teleport in the game, she hits you with a condement and is right next to you. She has base kit mori that you can use. She is the best killer in the game in indoor maps with two floors and can easy mori the whole team.
-
Hey, don't speak like this to few Hillbilly mains :(
-
5th of July.
I expect the chance of Developer Update blog drop in just few more hours today on 99.9% chance. They always drop few days before PTB and we know the PTB date allready (Summer Games 2023).

They meant that it's the only perk making people not run Sprint Burst, Dead Hard, Lithe, etc.
Okay. Yea of course because it's much better. What is better? Extra speed boost for a short period of time or permanent 3% haste all the time while injured?
-
@bornagain234 said:
Its the only perk in the game that is making people not run exhaustion perks.
Would have been interesting to see this in its current state and old DH, which would get picked more.
It does the opposite. You want to run exhaustion add-ons and perks to counter it. It's the only way you can do something about it.
-
I was MFT defender when it came out but the more times I think about it (and experience it on both sides), yea this perk just on paper is overpowered. Compare this perk with any other haste effect perks. The only one that comes second to this is Hope, however Hope is end game perk and as such it will not help you during most of the match and you might not even get to the point to get any value out of it. It also gives you endurance which is pretty good.
-
Also I think I saw way more Skull Merchants (that most people hated on, including Killers) and Knights than Singularity.
-
Yes, common thing.
-
29 Survivor games, 0 Singularity.
I don't want to play Singulartiy much either, maybe one match if I am in the mood but then go back to different killers.
His power is just not that rewarding considering you have to do a lot of things quickly, it can backfire you, cameras are very sensitive to anything standing in Its way, you can see 80% body of someone, nope still won't tag them. And when you finaly have someone infected, it doesn't take much at all to remove it and start over again, teamwork hurts this killer more than your avarage killer too.
I think you will see more Knights and Skull Merchants than this killer.
-
No, Survivors don't need bigger FOV. Strech res is advantage for Survivors and it was fixed some time ago beause many people were (ab)suing it. You can see killers over the walls on some loops while they can't see you, etc.
-
@Devil_hit11 said:
problem with shadow Walking perk is that a killer player can purposely look at the floor to gain the haste effect while still following the survivor. The 1st perk looks a proper version of Legion's Iron maiden perk. Perk #2 is Overcharge with oblivious effect.
As for the power? It looks something like Dredge's Nightfall that is more chase oriented in combine with demo/wesker. I guess it depends what you mean by dash forward. If i had to understand that description, it looks something like a 6 meter nurse-blink that I imagine goes through walls with brief delay. The idea looks ok.
Oh, it doesn't go through walls, it's something like Demo charged dash or you can think of it as Wesker dash too. Thank you for your feedback!
-
Slippery Meat is lucky gamble perk that is only decent when you run luck offerings and Luck perk from Ace. It doesn't reguire anything other than having a luck. It's more of a fun perk than a serious one.
-
Well it is generaly usefull perk and some Killers really benefit from it. Like Oni (longer to heal = more blood), Dredge (longer heal = faster nightfall), etc.
-
No, people don't like Tunneling because it removes them from the game fast when it works (they barely can't play) and also because they can't do anything else other than just running away from the Killer and it is obvious that you are the target number one which can be annoying.
-
Okay, I will make some fun Skull Merchant build that is not focused on Gens (Gen Merchant). The only really alternative that scales with your power (haste from drones) is well... Haste build.
Switching and chasing your obsession will give you extra haste on top of the haste you will gain from your power. Making you Sonic Merchant aka Chasing Merchant. It is best with this add-on since it helps you in chase, gives you drones extra purpose to use in chase and scales with the haste build.
Gl hf in the Fog!
-
Reactive healing can be pretty good if you are bold or Killers injures lot of people near by.
-
Blight need some of his best add-ons (so more than half of them lol) nerfed. Anything else is fine and I wish they will never touch his base kit, please don't ruin one of the best desinged powers in the game, there isn't that many of them. You don't even have to rework most of the add-ons, just reduce the numbers.
-
You start the match and you start looking for first Survivors by checking gens, it's been like 40 seconds since the match started, you didn't even managed to check every gen and 1 gen is allready done before you can even check each of them. That's how stupid the gen speed sometimes is. Then you look at the end game screen, ah yes, brand new part and two anniversary toolboxes with yellow add-ons. Great. You can start the match with 4 gens then by default.
