No, far from worst but he is not strong imo. He is just okay. The thing about him is that you have to do a lot of things offten to keep up and get full value of his power just to be decent. That is probably the factor that makes people play him less. You do a lot for medium result. Bubba can do better for far less effort.
-
I picked I belive these:
- Buff Trapper
- Nerf Blight (add-ons only I mentioned)
- Rework Skull Merchant (Twins and Freddy are allready being worked on)
-
It would be very welcome if they finaly balance out Blight's add-ons and
rework Skull Merchant. However, keep in mind that Blight is one of the top popular Killers and nerfing him too hard will cause even less unique matches for everyone involved. You will see even more Weskers, Nurses, etc.
-
You need to try bait Killers. Try faking windows and pallets by pretending you are about to use them. It's RNG tho, some Killers will fall for it more times per chase, some once and some never.

Iri shard was a major nerf, because nothing in the game blocks killer instinct. But there are multiple survivor perks that can block the killer from seeing auras.
Wait a minute...
-
Kid's Ball Glove (brown) - Nerfed by 10%. Considering it gave him whole 25% extra time for such a cheap add-on, yea that was too much imo. Also, extending Overload is not always a good thing, in some cases you would rather teleport or use biopod. I think for a brown add-on, +15% extra is pretty good still.
Foreign Plant Fibres (very rare) - Nerfed by one extra rarity. That add-on sounds good so I don't really mind this one, it is just more rare to get it, but the power level is the same.
Foreign Plant Fibres (uncommon) - Good buff. No longe reguires you to be within a biopod. Not a super helpfull add-on mind you, but good buff for what it does.
Nanomachine Gel (rare) - While it was nerfed overall I would say, because the effect itself metters more than rarity of the add-on itself, the add-on still on it's own is not that good imo. You will usualy hit Survivors that you will then chase anyway, so the whole Broken Status probably doesn't do much in most cases. This add-on is just not great before this change and after this change as well.
Denied Requisition Form (Ultra Rare) - I didn't even know it makes it longer for the first EMPs to charge up. That's very good add-on. I understand why you want to put it into the most rare cathegory since it is one of his best add-ons.
Soma Family Photo (Very Rare) - Great buff. Not only this add-on is cheaper but also MUCH better and usable now. Before the change this add-on was the worst and it was worse than his base kit. Now this make you catch up faster and you don't lose as much Overload effect, great.
Iridescent Crystal Shard (Ultra Rare) - Tiny buff. I would say seeing the aura directly is better than just killer instint, while technicaly it does the same thing, it is more accurate now.
Overall: I understand why nerfing Kid's Ball, Plant Fibres and Danied Form, since these add-ons were too cheap for their effect. Nanomachine is the most strange one, since this add-on is just bad and now is bad (worse) than before? Strange change. The rest is buffs and these are good and needed.
This isn't some "omg they nuked his add-ons." No, they just balanced them more. Wish the Gell is reworked tho, is just strange add-on.
-
Soma Family Photo went from being garbage nerf add-on to being pretty solid and cheaper too.
-
I got 100+ on Dredge and I play him offten. Probably the most flans have Twins, probably around ~150 but I rarely play them nowdays.
-
Indoor maps usualy suck for Killers with fun power while killers who are sneaky or can hold gens well is good for them.
I rememeber a Bubba who chases me for 5 gens because he just couldn't use his power on me and I always found a window or a pallet to get away from hit.
-
Singularity has still plenty of couterplay.
-
Tell me you are a Survivor main without telling me you are a Survivor main.

Problem is not solved. Real solution is nerfing him. Making him balanced and fair for both sides.
How would you nerf blight? (please tell me you just want his addons nerfed, not his base kit...)
-
You have to do lot of things (placing biopods, checking cameras then quickly check the area then switch next, trying to mid chase infect people to watch them get EMP or help from other teammates, etc.) for not that much impact. That teleport isn't something super strong imo, it is good for counter holding W and burn some pallets / window here and there. Any line of sight blockers will make your biopods useless. I don' think he is weak killer but he is Killer that reguire lot of tasks that sometime make you multitasking for power that can be countered and even when it isn't, it is not something powerfull as other killers chase power.
-
I think the Expose on Bloodlust 1 is too much, but the rest is okay I think.
Also I wouldn't call these respawned pallets useless. They are clips where SWF team can use them to save Survivors after you downing them many times, very annoying to go againts. The window blocker can sometimes come handy, I managed to get some value out of it allready.
It really isn't that bad honestly.
-
Wesker is one of the best Killers in the game, yes. Go for it!
@GannTM said:
Well thankfully that NFT situation was resolved and BHVR even cut ties with the CryptTV license because they were associated with NFTs. I think buying Wesker is definitely worth it, he’s a lot of fun.
Really? Do you have any source? I totaly missed it, I thought they don't care and the skins are still in the game and store.
-
@Objectively_speaking said:
Wesker is worth getting. Decent perks, Decent power, and can be lots of fun.
Decent? You mean VERY GUT.
-
Nooo Alert and that Yoichi perk that I can't remember the name can't be that loooow. Also all boon icons deserve better than D imo.
-
There are few other Killers who are also really great like Blight, Oni but just Wesker is the most fun one. Like you dash on someone, grab them in process and fly with them next 20 meters. Just so gooood.
-
All I will say is that you can place one drone on The Game map to cover 2 gens easily. Yes, the Survivors didn't have much chance, some of them even gave up.
-
There are many things I like. For example, as Killer I like that I can choose which Killer will Survivors go againts, Its like how the match will feel like.
I love Weskers ability, trowing people and smashing them on things is never not fun and feels good when you run addon for longer dash with them when you catch them, you sometimes go across like 1/3 of the map and then trow them haha. I love Dredge nightfall, I like the global darkness / debuff it gets on Survivors. I like sending Guards with Knight across the map to push them away or to start chasing them. Knight is like you are playing coop Killer with someone, unlike Twins where only one Killer is being controled at the same time, Knight is true 2v4 chase killer.
-
It really depends on how each match is going.
If you are the Killer, you are not having a easy time atm, you are on a bad map, gens are flying, etc... then you are more likely to decide to tunnel. But also sometimes Survivors shot themselfs too you know. Like if you down two people, both of them are on hook, the others are injured well then you would be trowing if you just let them recover themselfs. If you have 1 gen left, you hooked 3 people and some Survivor is on second stage well... unless you want to trow and be really nice, you know what you have to do. But there are also matches where you don't have to tunnel and everyone gets to play and you are happy with 1-2K.
-
@GannTM said:
Honestly I have to say that a lot of people complaining about too much Wesker are being far over dramatic. I feel like most of them weren’t there when Freddy and Spirit were super common back in early 2021 and that was far worse than what we have now.
Oh, who can forget "Forever Freddy". You picked 4 slowdowns, then 2 slowdown add-ons when they were pretty good together back there and you had endless games.
-
I am sorry, I am part of the problem.
Well he is one of the best designed Killers in the game imo, you have power that is very fun to use (smashing and trowing Survivors on stuff is just niceeeee) and also powerfull, he has bit of everything (info, slowdown, chase, movement) but he also takes some skill to use well and there is counterplay againts him too. You can juke him, try to bait his dash, etc.
I think the only solution for this is as time goes is to release more well designed killers and then you will see overall less of the same. Buffing / reworking weak killers would also help.

today: weski, weski, nurse, weski, spirit, SLINGER, nurse ...
Next up is Weski, Huntress, Blight
-
I don't know if that would work well. For killers it would mean that majority of the game you are just M1 killer with nothing, which isn't fun or interesting for both sides.
-
Nah, he is not that good still. EMP are still common and powerfull and make chases take longer, he is very map dependant and his chase power isn't super amazing compare to many other killers.
-
Yea, that addon is more nerf than a buff. I would rather play base kit than this add-on. 5% Haste isn't much for such short duration and it hinders your chase power after teleport by A LOT. They should either remove that debuff, 5% Haste isn't that crazy for Iri add-on at all and it would be usefull on him. Might be a top add-on maybe. The second option is, keep the debuff but buff the Haste to at least 10-15% or you could decrease the delay after teleporting so he can catch up to you faster or something.

Yep! https://otzdarva.com is really good. Has perk tier lists, builds for every killer, and addon tier lists for every killer.
Thank you!
Seems like the chilly and green movement speed are the best, following recharge addons.

The cage will only reposition if Pyramid Daddy is within 5 meters of you for at least 3.5 seconds. So he can be extremely close to you and still not actually be in the trigger zone for relocation.
5 meters is a joke lol. It should be at least 12 meters.

your ping must have SUCKED lmao
yea, thanks to servers. Idk why but these days sometimes you start lagging and I am not the only one who is expericing this as some people reported this too.
But also why the cage doesn't move to different location when he just sits there...
-
Listen, I am not going to open BP and spend X ammout of BP on every character I am about to play, mainly Killers. There are so many of them and I allready have a plan to who I want to spend these BP. Like if I want to play 10 different Killers or Survivors, you think I will be always sitting and spending BP on each of them before trial? NO! I allready usualy have party streamers on Killers at least and they function almost the same as the cakes. I don't get people complaining when someone is using almost THE SAME OFFERING yet it's not good enough I quess. Might as well use nothing hmmm...
-
I think you mean when a Survivor gives up on a Hook when they are hooked for the first time.
Well, how would you fix it then? I don't see any way other than removing the unhook self button which would also be nerf to Survivors in some specific situations.
Also is not more than 1 year but more like more than 7 years.
-
Also is it just my skill issue or something but... I don't really notice much of these buffs that happend few days ago. I just played match with him and yea, EMP is still pretty offten, you can still chain them, I have to infect like 2-3 times per chase someone with my power, teammate coming with EMP to help, felt kinda helpless really...
-
Well if we have more strong, fun yet counterable Killers, we probably wouldn't have such issue.
-
What I like about it is that you get new skins for new characters for good price / free.
-
At the start of the match, just try to find people and in the meantime place biopods on some decent places where Survivors could be in future.
When you find someone, in chases, try to use your biopods and place them where Survivor is atm and try to infect them. Once you did that, then you can always teleport to them with M2. You want to teleport when they get too far or when they are about to drop pallet unless you know they know you will do that, depends on the Survivor you are going againts.
Early game is your best period of game because EMPs didn't spawned yet. Try to not waste too much time in biopods. Use them only to quickly check a map position or idealy just to infect people. If they get EMP mid chase, try to infect them again. You can burn Survivors pallets fast once you can teleport on them.
He is like a set up chase killer. You should almost always want to infect them before just chasing them, unless you are close for a M1 hit.
He is also very map dependant. Some maps are really good (open space with not much line blockers) and very bad at others (Larry, indoors, etc.)
-
I have been very lucky so far, everygame is like 3+ cakes/party streamers.

I’ve played against a p100 wesker that I’m pretty sure was one of those god tier ones because he killed us pretty quick
He took that 7 minutes very seriously.
-
Killers who will want to tunnel you don't need hook counters anyway, since they will pay attention very well on you.
Killers who don't care about killing would like to have hook counter to prevent killing someone.
-
I have my 7 min timmer clock prepared, so yes. It will be Weskin time soon.
-
He has again 7 minutes to spend for everyone now! Rejoice!
-
Tunneling and camping is not fun but sometimes it is what you need for the Killer to win the match.
-
I think all Exhaustion perks should be disabled for the anniversary Event.
-
Well to be fair, if you don't chase / find Gen Survivors who have full perks and toolbox ready to go, then you will get gen rushed pretty fast. There are now many gen speed perks and good toolbox you can pair together to make gens fly.
-
People need to understand that 3-gen can do any Killer. If the map is small (which the new map is btw) and there is nice close 3-gens together, any Killer can hold the game for very long time. Yes, there are some killers who will be better at guarding gens (Knight, SM, Blight, Nurse, any movement or area check killer), but that doesn't make them broken just because they can control area or move fast. The problem is the core game desing, which devs are working on it right now! They said in the patch notes when buffing Deja Vu that they are looking into changing how it works now in general, which is good news. So we have to just wait and hope 3-gen will be no longer a thing in near future.
-
I am just sad that this just deacresing build diversity. Frenklin's could always be countered once you knew Killer has it and unless Survivors had very good items, it wasn't big of a deal at all (Oh nooo, I lost my brown toolbox...). And since when Nemesis vacines were removed with Frenklins? I thought it will just force you to drop it, which again, I don't see the problem with it. If it would make that item dissapear, then it would be bug since Frenklin's doesn't do that, it just makes you drop it and lose charges if the item even have any.
It just nerfing situational perk and decreasing build diversity.
-
This isn't the first time people asked for characters to be able to spend BP on them when they are killswitched, yet nothing was done about it and the feedback was pushed away or ignored. You don't have to killswitch character to the point where you can't even select them in menu, just don't allow to press the play button with them so people can customize and spend BP on them. Funny thing is that store for them is of course opened so you can buy cosmetics for characters you can't even play or level up.

Problem is non of us was bad in this match. But he got 2 kills even with garbage perks. I doubt any killer can do this against good survivors.
But does it mean when Killer can win againts good Survivors without perks that the Killer is OP? So does it mean that all Killers without any decent perks should then auto lose againts good Survivors?
-
Any Killer can do this perkless if they get a good match (bad survivors or great map with not so great survivors, RNG, etc.)
-
You guys getting Doctors?
