This is why I love downvoting. Two downvotes, and all you did was state facts, lol.
Reality is a harsh mistress for some people, I guess.
Half-fact. MMR does work in 1v4, it just is very "generous" by design.
-
Same as usual and as 1v4. If survivor side is of above average level then it's heavily survivor-sided. If not then it's heavily killer-sided.
-
So when is trapper going to get a HUGE and needed buff?
Hopefully never.
-
Agreed. If they could do the same with Nurse and Blight next it would be awesome and the whole playerbase would cheer.
-
Good.
-
They're doing their best, okay? They've been making a PvP live service game for only 9 years, give them some time.
-
"Increasing" the reward gain is not gonna fix all the other problems. This whole new quest ecosystem is just incredibly bland.

adding this here as well..
I get that it's a funny screenshot but technically speaking it still stands true. Frank is Frank. Hence him being a legendary skin.

Because the game wasn't as successful as they'd hoped it would be. Hence why they're currently giving it away for like £6.
It'd be a big waste of money to make a whole chapter based on a game that didn't sell well.
Even if that's true, why does it matter? It could have nice content for the game. I've seen people sharing their eagerness to have Champion and Linda in the game several times and it's not like people get original chapters with real money anyway. Also couldn't have been more of a flop as the likes of Houndmaster and SM.
-
DBD will always remain a buggy mess. It's time to accept this fact.
-
Yeah poor them, investing BPs in an S tier killer. How could they possibly recover.
-
Almost every single UI-related change in this patch is a blunder. Kind of impressive.

I disagree, her power is already very difficult to hit, if it had a long cooldown it would be very punishing and she would be used even less.At most they could increase the cooldown to 5s only when you hit the dog and the survivor takes a hit.
No offense but no, it is nowhere near "very difficult to hit".
-
TLDR. Ghoul still is in need of more nerfs and you know it.

Why does abandoning a trial because the survivors took the game hostage be considered a draw, but leaving after all your team has been downed be considered a draw? That makes no sense.
Because you choose to abandon a stalled match that you could have won instead. Draw is the correct result in such instance. A draw for being the last remaining human survivor is a bit strange however, for sure. Then again their official match outcome results aren't meant to match MMR gains and loss (for whatever reason) so at the end of the day it doesn't really matter and we need further clarification from BHVR.
-
GF already got leaked by the new quest system on PTB.
-
A draw for abandoning against bots in a PvP game is very strange. So it is for abandoning as survivor in a losing match.
-
Nice attempt, fellow Ghoul main.
-
So nothing about vault speed in power as well as movement speed when cancelling midair aka the two biggest balance issues with this killer. I see.

I can understand Pig, Bubba and Freddy cases, because maybe there are some license reasons preventing them getting new chase musics.
But some of the original and older killers I don't understand why didn't they got new chase musics at this point. My main problem is not the chase music from the survivor POV, my problem is the chase music from the killer POV. I started playing the game in 2018 and never liked the chase music from the killer POV, specially one of them sound too goofy in my opinion and all of them are very uninspired and they aged like the milk in the sun in July. Also, after seven years playing they have even became annoying.
I mean, "some" just is Wraith and Plague now (I think we all agree that Trapper should keep the default chase themes). I nonetheless agree that their themes are long overdue.
-
Flashlight usage has drastically went down like 2 years ago when they reworked (ruined) them.
-
Very situational perk in solo queue and there are plenty of strong(er) alternatives for squads. It's fine.

I'm going to step in on this one right away - a killers power has nothing to do with sales first of all, two completely separate departments that work independent of each other!
The feedback about The Ghoul on PTB was incredibly mixed, with some saying buffs were needed and some saying nerfs were needed, in fact more were saying "D tier killler" than there were saying that he was a strong killer. So whilst the feedback is useful to us, its not set in stone at how players would react once the Chapter hit live.
Bugfix Patch 2 is the earliest one to get any changes into after content has gone live, the first patch is normally addressing things found in the PTB or internal testing. It's why there's no changes in this PTB to The Ghoul, as the PTB is based on the current Live game.
Well, competitive players all quickly noticed how ridiculously strong and low-skillfloored he was with the slide addon (that is now basekit) so maybe give more importance to their feedbacks next time instead of Otz and xXMegMain69Xx.

I'm seeing a lot of theorizing about the value of the new perks here ahead of going hands-on with them. To be clear, that is appreciated because it gives us a first look at what folks think. BUT! Please do give them a try on the PTB.
If you're not vibing with any of them after trying them out, we'd love to know what's not feeling great to you - the more specific, the better! Does it feel like it's a simple value change standing in the way of this becoming a viable pick for you? Or is the Perk simply not something that interests you? Specifics like these help us direct the feedback to the right folks on the team.
No offense but there's zero need for any testing to notice how worthless Rapid Response is.

Aside from the hillbillies, Wesker is underappreciated.
Some people even joke that “the reason Wesker is so highly rated in North America is because North American survivors are not as good.” LOL
Even if Wesker can use hug tech, “So?” In Japan, Wesker is not so well known.
As for DBD videos in Japan, you can find them mainly on You tube or Nico Nico. I don't hear much else.
Back in the days Wesker was mostly rated highly for the original function of his infection status effect. He's widely considered to be an average mid tier killer nowadays.
-
I've seen plenty of KR/JP streams and it never really stroke me that survivor players were playing much more "seriously", really. I think a lot of differences in opinions mostly stems from the fact that almost everybody in Japan plays on controller/console and has good ping (below 35) and that because of it the average killer player is significantly weaker than the average survivor player in public matches over there. There's simply no other reasonable justification for not putting old Chucky in anything but S tier
-
The rationale is that it's meant to be a fun side mode. Stick to the main queue if it bothers you that much.
-
Wouldn't be surprised if it simply was yet another oversight.
-
Streamlining everything for the sake of console players/FNAFers will eventually kill this game, BHVR.
-
@Crowman said:
This would still result in the same issue we have today. Where haste perks have low values making them not worthwhile by themselves, because they are balanced around being stacked.
Is it really an issue though? Or is it BHVR refusing to be more daring/creative. It's not because of Haste stacking that Dark Theory has never been a good perk.
-
Dunno if it's FNAF's "fault" or not but I'm really disliking the streamlining changes they are doing lately. The game is losing more and more of its identity and charm.
-
It's not lost on us that unhooking can be used by Survivors to grief others
But it's apparently been lost on you that the vast majority of unhook spam was vigilantism done against real griefers.
-
So many problems would have been avoided if this game never did release on console.
-
Well, they got away with Nurse for 9 years now so they probably thought they could get away with it once again.
-
Otz and his constant questionable takes is as much of an issue for the community as the rest.

Doing event generators sucks since you get almost no BP (just for finishing it). This event is about BP! Why such low BP?
Crazy to me that so many people still care this much about BPs in 2k25. I guess the game has a constant stream of new players.

Creative Assembly live service games aren't on 4 different platforms.

Happy both platforms are equal now, but neither should be able to do this
Nothing to do with platforms and more about peripherals. Mouses will always be a naturally better device than controllers for first-person games, it's just how it is.

That's his skill expression though. It doesn't need "fixing"
It clearly does. What else do you want to do to his kit? They already said they don't want to make his M2 free injury a skillshot, for some reason.

Tokyo Ghoul is cool. But it should have stayed off DBD in my opinion.
I really want Behaviour to bring back the classic horror aspect of the game. The game's not even a horror game anymore ;(
It never was a horror game, it's a horror-themed PvP GaaS.

I usually wait to play Killer for a day or two so the queues are less extreme.
I’ve played against him a couple times and I can’t seem to figure anything out about him. How is he hitting me from the other side of a rock/debris? Why are they ready to attack again almost as soon as his jump ends sometimes?
Is there something I’m missing? why are people calling him bad?
That's exactly how it already was 3 weeks ago. He undeniably is an S tier killer, dunno how BHVR thought he deserved that pallet vault speed buff and 0 nerfs.

@XDgamer018 said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/441627/ghoul-is-unbalanced
While i agree he needs some changes its way to early to come to conclusions
3 weeks is too early? We already knew from the PTB that he was super strong and that the autoaim thing is complete nonsense in terms of balance and feeling (it's literally like seeing the character plays itself) and they ended up giving him nothing but buffs anyway.
-
It's not because some casual players don't read patch notes that no killer should ever get a complete rework.
-
@LiveBritishReaction said:
It's incredibly good at what it does. My issue is that what it does is pure QoL.
Cutting down downtime for picking and hooking survs is not "pure QoL".
-
Sounds good on paper but I fear that they would mess up core elements of the gameplay if they did. Intentionally or not.
@BritneyMitch said:
Nobody plays Overwatch 2 and nobody would play DBD 2 imo.
Nonsensical comparison. OW2 IS OW1. It's the same game. The people who played OW1 still play OW2. The "2" of this game was a pretext to reduce the number of players per team and implement an aggressive monetization system, that's about it.
-
Honestly I think BHVR devs are just overworked. Or, on the contrary, are procrastinating way too much. One or the other. The state that Houndmaster and Ghoul released in (both PTB and live, in HM's case) should simply not be acceptable for a game as successful as DBD.
-
They'll cut a leg and an arm of every single other killer in the game before they finally start doing something about Nurse. These devs are so puzzling sometimes.

@ARTRA said:
Tbh, i dont really get it or why they change it so many years later, but here we are.
At least Oni wasnt hitted as hard as alien.
That's BHVR we're talking about. It took them 4 years to get rid of Blight's hug tech and like 7 to make the bubble notifications conceal auras. They're just that slow and/or indecisive.
