His tail is designed for pallets and windows. If you win the 50/50 you're guaranteed a hit.
My issue with him is his mobility. The tunnels are amazing in concept. Being able to track them from underground is his best feature. Issue I have with that is that's not the focus of his addons. He has one I think??? That helps him see them from underground.
But it's fixed locations, and gens fly to fast if you only use the tunnels to move around. Which honestly you should be... it's Alien...
Idk
You don't need to 50/50 most of the time. His M2 just creates lose-lose situations for survivors, even moreso than PH.
-
Same as usual, I presume. A high-ceiling (lol) killer that is "not worth the effort".

Who asked for a down vote button?
Redditors.

Pretty much the same, really. MMR mostly is a boogeyman used by people who don't (or refuse to) realize that the average DBD player in 2025 is better than the 2020 one.
-
Wesker has always been a very buggy killer and will likely always remain as such.
-
Pro-survivor, not anti-killer. Stop with the victim complex. DBD already is killer-sided in pub matches.
-
Boring kit that plays itself.
-
BHVR probably thinks that the current state of their game is stellar. I'm not even joking.

Do y'all ever factor MMR into why solo is so "miserable?" Or just blindly blame killer stuff every time?
Ah, the MMR bogeyman. Been a hot minute since I last saw someone using it.

The Dublin server is a nice addition. My ping has returned to fourty, instead of being at sixty constantly. Fourty is double what I get in other games, but it's still much better than it was.
I've barely played over the last year, but I might get back into the game now.
Dublin server has been around for years , mate… Anyway, it's a Moscow server that Europe needed. Like half of the killer playerbase here is Russian and they all have appalling pings, ruining the experience for everybody.
-
We've been telling BHVR for years how to correctly implement basekit Unbreakable into the game. They just don't care.
-
Let's be real, there could be 1 chapter per year and the game still would be a constant broken glitchy mess anyway.
-
We know since the PTB that it wasn't.
-
SWF is not OP. 95% of SWFs in this game are easily defeatable if you're good at the game.

Freddy still sucks. Get good at looping because I'm not struggling against him.
Comp players themselves are claiming otherwise on the matter but whatever floats your boat, mister god-looper.

Should be higher, if anything.

I can understand why BHVR don't want players to see others' MMRs in lobbies, but I don't understand why they won't at least show us our own MMR. If someone wants to tank MMR to try to get easier opponents, they're going to do it regardless. Other than that, I can't think of any conceivable reason to not let players see it other than BHVR's historical tendency to be extremely non-transparent with game data/stats.
Because they want to keep the "sweatiness" at bay the most possible. They don't want people trying to grind the ladder/realize that their MMR is lower than expected.

Because it was never a rework to begin with, it was listed as an “update” on the roadmap.
They literally call it a rework in the patch notes. Which it is by the way. Well, the snare part of his power, at least.
-
Obviously very strong but the whole pallet part of his kit is pointless due to survs being able to always know if it's fake or not when awake.

But there are weaker killers that suffer from this, like the Demogorgon.
It's sad for Demo but crouch tech is a necessary evil until BHVR finally do something substantial about Billy and, most especially, Blight.
-
Nothingburger. He can detonate them at will.

And to think Vial still exists…
That said, there are really many facets of Blight that are blatantly overtuned. After all, even with 3 rushes when using Blight Tag he's still incredibly strong, with a ridiculous recharge time and movement speed, particularly of course when combined with another recharge or speed add-on.
Various things could be tuned about Blight, some mix of which would make for a much more balanced killer, without losing the fun factor or even S-tier viability. 4.4m/s base movement speed, not being able to break pallets with rush hits, getting stunned draining his power tokens and only recharging them once the stun animation has played out, increasing the recharge time of tokens, increasing the fatigue time after rushing (especially when missing a rush hit/breaking a pallet with it), reducing base tokens to 4, reducing his ability to still flick almost 180° between the pre-turning rate and in-attack turning rate, slightly increasing base rush speed but removing the rush speed add-ons, … - there's plenty you can do, just take the right two or three things and he'll be fine while still being more or less the same incredibly potent killer.
Blight Tag's Blight still is very strong but nonetheless does feel a lot more enjoyable and bearable to play against. Two opportunities to hit survivors is the perfect middle ground for such a strong power. 4 is ridiculous.

R.I.P.
I'm glad for Demo, and Billy has had some slight nerf adjustments and is mechanically challenging enough to play that this is probably fine. But this is one more reason to consider retuning Blight a bit more.
The original sin of Blight's power is the 5 tokens. It's just way too much. It removes all semblance of commitment and risk from his kit.
-
It's not nerfed at all. But it still is pretty bad.

@OnryosTapeRentals said:
The Twins rework was reverted because it was outright overpowered. Survivors had every right to be upset with it.
As for Freddy’s upcoming changes, we won’t know how strong he is until we test it. What I will say is though, is that the healing teleport will probably be very unpopular amongst survivors.
Could argue that Twins still are overpowered…

As soon as I learned how to do it against Xeno…
But it is okay, I understand why it had to be removed.
Crouch tech did nothing against Xeno my dude. Crouch tech allowed to dodge M2 hits with a relatively high center of gravity. Blight, Billy and Demo were the killers mainly affected by it. Xeno can literally direct his tail at the ground.
-
Billy and Blight now have even less counterplay. Great…
-
Black Box getting nerfed definitely was not on my bingo card.

The problem is you have realms like Badham whose maps are nearly identical outside of some different positioning which you could get back to back.
Badham is special. They should have coded this whole realm to be considered as one map instead of making it universal imo.
-
Realm repeat prevention is dumb. Not being able to get Ironworks just because you got Shelter Woods previous match is nonsensical.
-
Still looks like an eyesore but hopefully less so than current one. Hoping the same for Plague's green diarrhea filter.
-
Yeah, they need some serious nerfs already, you right. I still find it hilarious that a borderline S tier killer ended up getting straight buffs simply because of low pickrate.
-
Popular combo among 1v1ers for months now. A popular content creator talked about it recently, I'm guessing.
-
He already got plenty of small buffs through the past year. He's perfect the way he currently is.
-
They tried it already. It didn't go well so don't expect much on that front anytime soon.

It's an absolute shame mobile players will have to suffer a downgraded experience with the PC version. Going from a version with ranked modes, emotes, better cosmetics, and an ACTUAL meaningful stat screen; the PC version is going to feel like an early alpha build.
None of it all sounds much "superior", if I'm being honest. Mobile cosmetics have steadily been exported to main game for a year already by the way.
-
Just rework the whole addon at this point, BHVR…

Nurse is an anomaly.
Everything is broken on her, she plays an entirely different game compared to everyone else. She is separated from the rest of the killer roster.
Another problem is, that there is almost nothing left to nerf without fundementally destroying her power and identity.
Give survivors a third health state when going against her. There you go. She keeps her identity and power and survivors won't want to give up at the mere sound of her first screech anymore.

@SharonPancakes said:
There has always been a big disconnect between the devs and playerbase. I'm convinced that no one that makes gameplay/design decisions actually plays this game at even a basic level.
Seems a bit caricatural but it would explain why so little has been done about Nurse after over 8 years, admittedly.
-
@Grigerbest said:
Yes, I've seen the vids on reddit. Cheating AI Nurse instantly killing everybody and they're having a dc penalty afterwards.
I'm not going to lie, this seems to me like an emergency level of issue that needs to be addressed like… Right now.
It can really hurt the survivor players if this will happen multiple times per day. Their DC penalty will be massive.
It's nothing new though? Bot killers hooking everybody at the speed of light has been a thing for years. All we can hope is that they fix that as fast as possible until hackers found another way and BHVR fix it again and so on.
-
Michel getting a fetish for washing machine sounds 2 years ago was the worst thing to happen to this game's soundtrack.
-
Nah.
-
This balance update in general is very questionable.
-
Looks like a pretext for them to nerf Pentimento later on.
-
They fixed pretty much none of her billion of "unintended behaviors" that she had on PTB so she still feels dreadful to play. You never know in advance what kind of shenanigans the dog has been preparing to you. Is he going to get immediately stuck into a wall ? Is he going to get stuck on his way back, preventing the cooldown from recharging for several seconds? Is he going to go in an unexpected direction when you ask him to curve a corner? And so on. I'm giving up on this killer until they finally do something about it. Twins never were this unreliable and buggy.
-
She's still very buggy and janky. So weak.
-
That doesn't fix anything but alright.

He definitely needed nerfs but they nerfed the wrong thing. It was the bat form that needed to be nerfed.
And the lingering hitbox of Hellfire. And Medusa. They almost completely misunderstood what needed to be nerfed with this killer indeed.
-
@radiantHero23 said:
Just want to step in to say that this involves all players. Not just killers. All grabs are dependant on survivor ping as an example.
However, I do agree, that in some extremes, ping makes the game almost unplayable.
Bad ping strongly advantages killer though. Compared to survivor. You basically get punished for playing DBD killer role with good Internet.

Tunneling does not need to be "solved", It is one strategy among others that exists in the game. That's it.
