A big part of the reason Blood Favor sucks is because 16m doesn't stop survivors from using pallets on the next tile over; it'll only stop a survivor from dropping a pallet on you that they were camping or unsuccessfully running towards. Increasing the range to 32m actually does a lot for the concept by weakening any loop the survivor tries to run to rather than weakening the loop they're running away from. I'd tentatively think the buffed version is worthy of being a hex, though I'd want to see how it plays first.
Really like all of these! Except for perhaps Crowd Control? I think I'd rather increase the time a window is blocked so that looping around a longer structure doesn't wait out the perk. So like 30 seconds instead of 14. Making it a few windows at a time sounds great on paper, but SWFs would be in a great position to bypass the perk by having teammates fast vault nearby windows while the killer's in a chase and removing the block on demand.
I'd also be fine with seeing Coup changed back to 100% lunge, no speed boost necessary.
Thank you now I understand the issue with SWF how 1 survivor can vault on the other side of the map as your chasing so the windows near the person I’m chasing doesn’t get blocked but that’s not a problem because there not doing gens there wasting time and that’s a good thing you want them to waste time to either find the totem or waste your own time

These are all great, but Blood Favor just shouldn't be a hex at all.
And it should have a cooldown, even if it's a negligibly short one.
I think it should be because Undying synergies with blood flavor and with my version with no cooldown it would be overpowered to block pallets every time you hit someone with your attacks therefore making it actually be worthy of being a hex perk
-
To fix Hag they should
- make it so you can remove her traps by erasing them while crouching no flashlights
- make it so any trap within 8 meters of the hooked survivor are instantly destroyed
- give her a new chase theme.
-
if The perk was buffed to 45/60/75 then would it be better
-
I agree when ever I use him he moves so slow that he can’t even down he needs a lot of buffs
Make it so when you aim your blade your not slowed your only slowed when you start throwing the blades
-
It’s not op it has a cooldown just stay out of the killers terror radius
-
This is a easy fix all they need to do is make it so at base. All 4 Survivors spawn together on 1 side and killer spawns on the other side of the map so it’s like chess. They should also remove the separation offerings on both sides since it’s built into the game

As much as I love Yui, I think A tier is way too generous if this is based on perks.
I put her A tier because of Lucky breaks buff and I hate to say it but if lucky break wasn’t nerfed she would have been S tier if the perk wasn’t nerfed

@CheeseAnton said:
I would just move Ash down to F tier, and then this tier list would be great.
I was thinking of doing that but after carful considering at least he has mettle of man even if it’s not strong at least it does something while Steve and quentins perks don’t do ######### to help

ARE YOU ######### KIDDING ME???????
They made it look 10x worse for no reason
Even dbd logo has been oversimplified
-
This might be unpopular but I think Zarina and Elodie have the worst perks. Nowhere near as bad as Ace, Ash and Steve but I’m shocked no one talks about there perks
Zarinas perks sound great on paper but there all just worst versions of other perks
red herring sounds great but the cooldown is way to long and it can ######### other people over just run diversion. Off the record sounds great but it’s just Iron will and distortion combined it would be better if it had additional affects. For the people is her best perk but it sucks cause, 1 the cooldown is to long and 2 you get broken and that’s it her perks are honestly underwhelming
Elodies perks might actually be the worst in the game
Appraisal, chest perk so it’s not going to be good anyway, Deception honestly it’s a great perk it’s amazing, and Power struggle everyone thought this would be the new DS but it didn’t it’s to situational and when you actually activate it it’s only going to be one time
overall there bottom tier to me personally
-
@GreyBigfoot said:
Hey man, I haven't seen your posts in a while, how are you doing?
And I think that all those perks need buffs, because they are very rarely used. Distortion earning back tokens among other buffs like your suggestion could incite more people to actually use them and I'd like to see that.
He was banned. We can’t talk about though

People get mad at the prime charm because they think DBD has gone political they usually see the LGBQ charm as a political movement that should be kept out of games but there’s nothing wrong with it it’s just when it’s forced into our face then it’s annoying. To be clear I have no problem with this I appreciate everyone around me it’s just the way the media shows the pride has a tainted image that people shouldn’t have diverse characters in games which I can see why cause politics should be kept out of games.
But this is an exception because this game has so many characters they can add something unique to the survivors as long as it’s subtle and not completely obvious then it’s ok. That’s my opinion on this

Now that you think about it, why is it limited to 32 meters?
I have no idea? They think it’s to strong to see a gens aura when there’s perks that deny your chase end and your momentum.

PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE JOKING
He’s joking but mori’s and keys will be changed they didn’t say anything about what’s happening but Mori’s will be built into the base game no more offerings
-
It’s out now
GO GO GO
-
I guess so and to be honest I’m happy about that no more offerings they finally built it into the main game
-
Kind of except we have zombies that can spread the virus and the tentacle goes in a straight line

The video start timer is a bit misleading.
Check the video description and you'll see:
"Watch Dead by Daylight’s 5th Anniversary celebrations and Resident Evil Chapter reveal on May 25th at 1PM ET."
Meaning it actually starts in another 33 minutes I believe.
That sucks it could have just said it starts at 1pm I’m so excited
-
I don’t mean to live under a rock but can someone please explain what the spirit challenge is?
-
they can’t put Ethan in because they never shown his face he has no face unless you mod. I think there going to put either Chris, Jill, Leon or Claire
-
@SkeletalElite said:

I don't know, current timing is same as bamboozle and I think bamboozle is a pretty fair perk so I don't really think it needs that much of a buff.
Maybe it could use a slight increase in time though. Like 4-6 more seconds.
It’s not Crowd control is 14 bamboozle is 16 seconds Bamboozle is better cause you control when to block windows someone loops you vault the window and force them into a area. With crowed control they vault but they can just go to the other side
-
@SkeletalElite said:
It can already block multiple windows at once
You never notice because it has a time limit. I made it so it’s permanent and make it known that it can block up to 3 windows at once
-
@glitchboi said:
Crowd Control has actually failed me a couple of times because of its 10 second duration, so I'm in for this buff.
Also, does it require the survivor that vaulted the windows to vault another window a 4th time, or does it require any other survivor?
Any survivor can vault the window to block it if 1 survivor vaults the window is blocked if a survivor on the other side vaults that window is blocked but if 3 windows are blocked and another survivor vaults then the oldest blocked window will be unblocked
-
@AVoiceOfReason said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/251925/hex-crowd-control-buff
I thought it already did that?
It doesn’t it blocks a location for 14 seconds if you vault another window the other gets blocked I made it so it can block 3 windows at the same time permanently until the hex gets destroyed or they vault another window so it cycles like Hag and Freddy’s traps

I mean, the five in the announcement picture is obviously a hook.
Plus, it also looks like the 3 from RE3:Nemesis. And you know what rhymes with "three?"
B E E S
They already confirmed it’s resident evil though
-
There not worthy of being a killer you really want the most forgettable characters? Lady D is not forgettable she’s the mascot of RE8
She and her daughters die in the first 2 hours of the game after you kill them there gone the whole game they never mention them again so why would you want them instead of Baker, Mr X or Nemesis they were a major threat who were trying to kill you the whole game they would be better

This and the Trappers story leading to more questions than answer is why I stopped caring about the rift stories completely.
The only ones that gave me answers was Wraith, Billy, Doctor, Spirit and Legion

I don’t really know her lore that much but didn’t someone die in her lore cutscene in the dumbest way?
Yes in the archives it stated that her friend used Her grandmas magic symbols to pass school but it killed her teacher and the symbols killed Lisa’s friend. It wasn’t good cause the lore focused more on Lisa’s friend then her herself they never mentioned the cannibals or how she became the Hag it was lame

The problem is the recoil. Why does he have recoil on his hands?
It makes no ######### sense if it was on deathslinger then it would make sense because it’s a ######### gun. But trickster is using his hands. HIS HANDS ARE NOT GUNS! Why is there recoil on him but not on a killer that has a weapon that should recoil! THINK DEVS THINK!!!

Resident evil is coming on Tuesday which sounds great but if we look back at all there killers from PH let’s take a look
Blight- the best killers they ever made very strong very balanced and very fun to go against great design everything about him was perfect
Twins-great idea love the concept to play as 2 characters as once but was terrible in execution the update was incredibly buggy and the Twins were incomplete. Once they were patched they weren’t fun cause they promote camping and slugging not there best
Trickster- he’s basically a filler killer he’s just there to fill a dlc as they worked on resident evil. But as a dlc he sucks he’s the worst addition to the game worse than legion and Twins IMO his power is uninspiring he’s to slow and overall he sucks it’s clear he was rushed
They still make great content but when it comes to the last 2 killers it proves they want resident evil to be successful in dbd
this was my theory on why the dlc has not been good
-
Sounds great but the problem with the perk is the range it’s way to short if the range was 64/96/128 then it would be a great perk along with your idea
-
If he even makes it to DBD which he probably will
-
Trapper needs a complete rework his base is the most outdated out of all the killers because why would I choose trapper when I can play Hag Freddy and everyone else over him he needs a rework
-
I think this perk is balanced it’s not to op and it’s not weak it’s a perfect perk it’s amazing
-

i like it i don't think it's too strong tho. on nurse or hag, i can be extremely team destroying. I'm sure it will get nerfed tho since BHVR doesn't like strong perks
It can’t it has a cooldown even if you increase the cooldown it would still be strong

it's really sad that we have to keep our expectations low
That’s with every game everyone thought Cyberpunk and avengers were going to be great but they ended up being the worst games of 2020

your right i would wait longer if we got a much cooler killer
Like the resident evil chapter they have been developing that chapter for a whole year I bet the reason Twins and trickster was bad was because they put all there attention into Resident evil I hope it’s worth it but I’m keeping expectations low
-
I have some tips first of all
STBFL and monitor is his best perks you cannot play him without those perks if you want to dominate. His best addons are reload and missed cooldown on shots
As for slinger himself his best stat is quick scoping his ADS is 0.15 seconds it’s incredibly fast. That’s pretty much it to learn slinger you need to play him more to improve your aim and once you play him enough to Where you never miss then your unstoppable
-
I play them all the time and people over react to this nerf I played and they feel the same yes landing a pounce and waiting is annoying but there still the same nothings changed at first I hated them thought they were the worst killer in dbd but when trickster came out I changed my mind

Oh you mean Broken + Oblivious. Wouldn't that be a bit to strong?
I'd chose either one but both can seem quite problematic.
It wouldn’t because it only procs on protection hits and how many times will this activate without people knowing what perk it is? People will catch on and not body block
-
@MrDardon said:

The PotD applying Torment is actually a quite poplular idea. I usually try to not copy popular ideas but in the end it might be a good Add-on, because it's popular.
Forced Penance could make Oblivious since Deathbound now does Exposed, but making a Survivor permanently broken until they get downed is also quite strong. Combining with Thana for example for quite a long slowdown. But it's debatable.
But thanks for the feedback.
It wouldn’t be strong because being broken does nothing they can continue working on gens but I put oblivious so there’s a threat to being hit by the perk not only are you broken but your oblivious so if you try to work on a Gen you can’t hear the killer. That’s why I added it
-
I love everything about this. This really shows someone who loves pyramid head I really like all the thought you put into this. But I would make a couple of changes to one ultra rare and some perks.
I would personally make the Obsidian Goblet make it so punishment of the damed applies torment to hit survivors. As for the perks only forced penance needs to change cause I love the others you buffed I would make forced penance the same but make it so when they take a protection hit they suffer oblivious for 60/70/80 seconds. But overall I love your changes

How much variety there is now? There are 23 killers in the game and red ranks is pretty much only Nurse, Spirit, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, Huntress, 180 flick Blight and Bubba.
You also have to take into account that there were less killers in general to choose from in the past, now there are more killers than ever and most of them are still not much played.
No one plays Billy and everybody plays Bubba now. Wow! so much more variety indeed!
You think that’s bad you should have seen 2016-2018 every match was Billy and Nurse they were the only 2 killers being used now we have some variety

Probably they can’t say anything cause they like to keep stuff a secret we need to do what the fans did to get the Snyder cut hashtags but be peaceful about this show the devs all the footage you can about DBD console and we might get what we want
