This isn't operation Health. LOL
It kind of is
Flashlights are fixed to where no more strobe effects will happen
Archives have been made less tedious and some bugs were fixed. May not be a big patch with updates to game mechanics but at least it’s ironing out the game
-
I’ve played more games with him and idk if it’s my MMR going against ######### players but I’ve gotten much better match’s I found a build that has helped so much.
Bamboozle, Iron Maiden, PWYF and Nemesis it’s one of Otz builds but holy ######### PWYF is so underrated on him and the purple chili and beast marks make him unstoppable. I thought having increased charge time would be a hindrance but the positives completely outweigh the negatives
Really sucks you have to run these 2 addons just to make him strong

This isn't going to be super helpful but unfortunately it's kind of true...
As you play Bubba more and more, you'll get a better sense of your surroundings. It takes time and it takes effort because his hit box can be wonky as hell. You get a decent sense of how tight you can take corners and what little things around the map he runs into (even though you shouldn't have).
For general tips, don't even bother trying to use your chainsaw around window loops like double Ls or The Shack unless you're REALLY confident you're going to get the hit. You're better off either just bopping them in the head with your mallet or ideally abandon chase and go for someone else. Bamboozle can be a really good perk with him since windows are really his primary weakness (I personally don't use it as I found it is better to have a slowdown perk since Double Ls can still get you in trouble as you can only bamboozle one window at a time).
If a survivor is running around a REALLY tight loop (like a tree or a rock), stop and go the other way. It's really really hard to catch them chasing them around the loop but as long as you don't run into the object turning back around (and even then, the survivor might run into you anyway), it's an easy down.
Hope something in here helps
Thanks but I still don’t understand why people say he’s better than others cause atleast Billy can curve and slinger can counter windows and hit long ranges
Bubba has none of that

Is there actually going to be a mid-chapter patch? Unless I'm mistaken it seems we're only going to be testing a feature that isn't coming for a while.
if there actually are new features or some killer/perk changes it would be nice to let us know and get some hype going...
I want to know what’s coming if it’s nothing and it’s bug fixes than honestly I’ll be fine with that

FNAF, story is absolutely ridiculous to me and the gameplay is basically the same thing between every game…but alittle different that way you can’t tell its the same thing as before
Security Breach solved this problem but still I don’t like the whole concept more because aren’t almost every animatronic controlled by a child’s spirit as well? The entirety of FNAF messes with me morally and the story is way to convoluted
Hell who would even be the survivor? I sure as hell am not motivated to play a security guard and if its just killer, how would they even attack as almost all the games the animatronics attack by screaming loudly at you, I just don’t get it, Pyramid Head gets a pass in DBD power wise as his power may not exist in game but is powered by silent hill instead in a way, you can’t just say “this childs spirit gave the robot powers”
It would be a solo chapter like Hellraiser and leatherface one killer

I meant the fact that Clown got a very minor visual touch up, not the bugs that come with them.
BHVR are able to make enough bugs as is
You think its there fault? It’s not there fault these bugs come out. It doesn’t matter how much you develop a game you can test it out 1 billion times and bugs will still happen they don’t deliberately create these bugs they come naturally

Sigh.
Okay, baseline UB has some issues (cough Twins cough) but it's a very positive change overall.
Killers don't really need much baseline now, because they got some pretty hefty buffs.
The UB change is more to make slug heavy strategies a bit easier to counter in solo play, as there are killers who'll slug people with knockout and just bleed them out for the luls.
I'm completely okay with it, provided:
- Twins get reworked (22s means that people could pick themselves up before you can even get to them).
- Spots on maps where you can't pick people up/they can clip into geometry when going down are fixed.
- Double locker flashlights are fixed.
- Hook distribution on some maps (Swamp, Midwich, Badham, Eyrie) is improved so you can't turn areas of the maps into deadzones with a single sabo.
I think twins will get there update maybe this Tuesday cause they did announce after Ghostface and legion twins were next to get changed
-
Ok it’s time to resurrect this old thread.
My suggestion has come true but in a different way. Unbreakable is base kit now!!
but instead of it being a one and done like mine it’s now they can get up if slugged for 45 seconds. This is fine but with unbreakable it should be toned down.
I can’t believe it was actually implemented I made this as a little suggestion but it’s finally been added
-
Everyone is pissed off but this is actually good cause there’s no more band aid perks and it’s making the game more interesting

removing alot of the fun of killer, and iconic perks. Slugging is essential when your going against strong SWF groups. Guess devs just want us to play S tier killers, sad thing is i like to play the whole cast and dont wanna be another tryhard blight/spirit/nurse. really bad direction for the game to go, and hackers still running rampant.
i was missing playing this game and with my hurt wrist cant really play as much nowadays but was gonna force myself but dont feel very motivated to play if this is the direction the dev's wanna go. So thanks for letting me know so i can stay away from this game.

How are you looking at this and coming to the conclusion that is isn't sided in a particular direction? Survivors get base kit unbreakable and now a stronger variant off the perk(being able to get up multiple times in 22.5 seconds) whereas killers get, what, a 45 second window where they can insta end the game if all survivors are down? Are you regularly downing 3-4 survivors in a 45 second window in your games?
It also works on hooks if 3 people are hooked and one goes down they die instantly don’t underestimate that god nurse or blight
-
Also shouldn’t we be happy about this all the bandaid perks that fixed tunneling and slugging are finally being removed where finally ripping the band aids off
but yet people aren’t happy and they will complain about band aid fixes and the cycle will continue
-
Why you necro a one year old post?

Better Than New:
Upon completing a healing action on another survivor, the targeted survivor gets a 7/8/9% speed boost to Repairing, Healing, Sabotage, opening chests, Cleansing and blessing totems, unhooking and opening exit gates. Survivors keep the bonus until they lose a health state. Stacks.
Boon: Dark Theory:
Any survivor within the boon totems range gain 3.5% haste status effect. Survivors vaulting speed is increased by 15%. Gain a 7% haste effect that lingers for 2/3/4 seconds after leaving the boon totems range.
Deception:
interacting with a locker while sprinting will trigger a loud noise notification at your location and cause you to leave no scratch marks, pools of blood or grunts of pain for 5 seconds. Can only be triggered once every 60/50/40 seconds.
This is not happening:
Great skillcheck success zones when repairing and healing are 30/40/50% bigger when injured, in the killers terror radius or when someone is hooked.
Self Preservation:
Whenever another survivor within 32 meters of you loses a health state, your scratch marks, pools of blood and grunts of pain are hidden for 12/14/16 seconds.

I agree he needs more voice lines like this. This would be very good

Okay, here's the in-game model right now.

As you can clearly see, it stays this way in-game.
Also here’s a screenshot I have of Jill in a game I just had
She’s clearly not bugged like you claim she is
It certainly doesn’t stay that way it’s probably the outfits causing the bugs

its bugged at the moment it’s not fair to compare something buggy to something that’s fixed it’s like saying this car is better and your comparing a broken down car to a ######### Lamborghini
-
An idea I had was your items lose 1 charge for every 2 seconds your in the killers terror radius

Fortnite has a way better model than DBD
So we’re comparing a bugged model in terrible lighting to a model that’s in great lighting and is modeled to look cartoony while this is realistic
For the record stop using that image where we have the real model here

Kind of a memey full end game build perk and requires a very certain scenario to shine(multiple survivors alive and injured) and almost is mandatory to run No way out and/or blood warden. When it procs its super fun but I would never take it in a serious build.
It’s just for a endgame build. It also kind of counters 99 the gates and COH cause I had someone boon a totem and they couldn’t even heal it’s pretty good but it needs to used in a endgame build

I remember an ex-dev saying that. Can you show when active devs commented on this?
I won’t name names but have you noticed that ever since some devs left the game has gotten better and better?
It’s kind of a conspiracy but ever since HE left we gotten great updates besides from The first mid chapter of the year every update has been great. There doing changes and taking more risks that they would never do
-
Here’s what the nerf should have been
Hatchets inflict dying on survivors hit further than 24 meters from your location.
there it rewards skill, Practice and it’s not cheap. This version you get 5 hatchets but you have to instadown at far lengths
-
How about if you could see the auras of others scratch marks
-
@K139K05 said:
I think they should change the auras of survivors similar how survivors see the killers aura. So you could actually see survivors on a far generator. Noise notification seems cool, but I think it would still be a sid perk without it.
It just needs a noise notification so we know the perk has activated
-
I think Twins are being changed next.
Next week we should get information on the next ptb
-
@ByeByeQ said:
More disappointment.
This way I can be pleasantly surprised if they actually deliver something good.
Oh like the last updates we’ve been getting?
we literally got 2 banger updates in a row all the strong perks got nerfed mediocre perks became great and we had a chapter that didn’t break the game
-
It should get reverted but it should also get buffed to where it works on both stuns and blinds. So your not reliant on pallet stuns
also Yochis perks are the least used perks in the game right now atm
-
Like the person said above there adding status effects to the hud icons to show what each survivor is doing
-
-You should be able to see what perks the other survivors are using when in a lobby as survivor.
-search bar to find perks.
-put daily rituals and tome challenges in the pause menu during gameplay so as I’m playing I can pause the game and see if I completed my challenge
-
But them with shards slinger had dead man’s switch which is good with pain resonance and Zarina has off the record

Where did they said that?
On there Q&A when the infamous hockey joke was born they said after Ghostface and legion get updated Twins is the next killer getting changed.
then on one of these posts A dev did say Sadako is getting looked at and it was pushed back.
-
@Marik1987 said:

same with everyone it should have a secondary effect which is increased vault speed. I think it should be 15% because fast vaults are 0.5 seconds and 15% only shaves off .075 seconds which is 0.425 seconds I think that would be worth the boon slot.
also people disagree but they should buff the haste but not by alot here’s my version of Dark theory
Any survivors within the boon totems range gain a 3.5% haste status effect. Increases pallet and window vaulting speed by 15%. The haste is increased to 7% and lingers for 2/3/4 seconds after leaving the totems range.
There this would make Dark theory a much more used perk and make it worth the boon slot

I don't even know which add-ons you're talking about, but I agree, this is clearly the most pressing issue in the game right now.

i have also somehow didn't get any value on freddy. this perk might be bugged in general though cause none of the pallets broke when they fast vaulted them while i was in direct chase with them after i hit them some seconds ago. that's totally bullshit. 5 to 10 pallets weren't destroyed due to that and i had to manually kick them all.
It only works when inside a terror radius. When I’m dream world you are oblivious so technically you don’t have a terror radius which renders the perk completely useless on Freddy

As long as the values aren't too high then it would be fine, this idea is fine in general Imo, I like it and would be better than its current version, any buff in general to this perk would be nice.
I agree it’s only 9% to one person I think it would be fine with my version
-

This would make it a lot better.
Do you agree with the stacking part? That was the one thing I was stuck on should it stack with another BTN? I think so cause it’s only 18% and if they get hurt it’s gone I think it would be fine
-
He should start with all his traps but not like Hag where he has 8 from the start he should start with 2 by default and have the other 6 be inside lockers so when he runs out he can reload at a locker
-
Here’s my buff to better than new
Upon completing a healing action on another survivor, the targeted survivor gets a 7/8/9% speed boost to repairing, healing, Sabotage, cleansing and blessing totems, unhooking, opening exit gates and opening chests.
Survivors keep the bonus until they lose a health state. Stacks.
I nerfed the values down but added back the repair speed it’s pretty much old leader but added back.

He's not Twins bad, no, but he has more issues than you're giving him credit for (or... not giving him credit for? You're giving him too much credit.) Slow motion bounds, slow motion throws, bounds that pull Wesker to one side of the map until he hits a wall, slams and throws that collide with an object and then fail to damage the survivor, wacky pallet prioritization, wacky height interactions. His power's really buggy - less buggy than the PTB, yes, but still bad. He does not feel finished.
But to be fair when you release something they didn’t intentionally release him to be broken when something releases something will break that’s out of your control.
Every game that has come out always will have a issue. This happens with every live service game there will always be a bug
-
This is not happening needs a major buff. It’s the most outdated perk in dbd.
It needs just a small rework
-
@Laluzi said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3163914#Comment_3163914
They had to fix some of the bugs, because I haven't seen Wesker yeet a survivor into space or warp himself out of the map on the live release.
That said, I'm getting some real release-day-Twins vibes.
I actually watched a video talking about the worst dbd patches and looking at twins again. This update is nothing like twins.
Twins were completely broken and rushed out. 5 out of the 6 perks were not even working. And it took a while 2 weeks just to fix twins. This was the worst update alongside legions.
Weskers update the only issue is the bound hit box everything else is fine no lag no game breaking bugs it’s just one issue
-
All the matches I’ve played I have never experienced that issue once.
I had a game where I got locked for a couple seconds but then it injured them.
But this it never happened to me at all
-
I don’t understand if I’m lucky but I played so many wesker games and I didn’t experience any issues he plays just fine and I’m on console.
He does need his hit box increased and he’s a bit buggy but I haven’t had a bad experience and it’s really not bad. Wesker is fine besides those issues and this is the least buggiest patch we had no lag no game breaking issues
-
@OniWantsUrLocation said:
I'm glad to see that there are people who like Wesker. I wonder if I would have felt the same way if I hadn't had an insane amount of fun with the ptb version of him.
He feels much better to play. His hit box just needs to be a little bigger than he is perfect. You have to be completely accurate to land hits
-
Fire up, Bamboozle, superior anatomy and No way out you vault fast as ######### once all gens are done you vault faster than a survivor can fast vault
-
They should give hunk his own voice to match RE2 and 4
