  • Are they live on Xbox 1?

  • Although I’m usually not a fan of fnaf concepts, this is one of the better ones I’ve seen. Little flaws and seems very balanced.

    One question though.

Can survivors 99% a generator and then find out that they need to find the hex related to deaths design, or can they not repair it at all up until the destruction of a totem?

  • My problem at the moment is gen speed, as well as ruin to be a viable perk, you have to use a second perk slot. That just shows how much it's dropped.

  • My personal build

Lithe, Quick and Quiet, Spinechill and Ironwill or Self-care

Lithe and Quick and Quiet go insanely well together, and can help you win many chases just by using it.

Spinechill can also help you win chases by having you be able to get away earlier then usual from the killer.

Iron will and self care have the same goal. Keeping you from making noise. One you need to work for but grants you your hit back. Both work well in my build ngl.

  • Haven't played yet due to me playing console, but I can't wait to be a bit evil.

  • Although I have complained, I've tried to stay optimistic.

I'm a console player so can't say much yet.

  • From their reasons it doesn’t seem like they have.

  • There is no way you play trapper in rank 5 without using ruin. With ruin the highest I’ve ever gotten is 3.

  • As someone who bought the game just before the release of The Halloween dlc, I have also experienced a lot of bullshit from both sides, and I feel that I’ve had my fair share like many others. Will this be my end of the road? Hopefully not, but I don’t see much options if the devs don’t consider what’s actually needed,

  • The first post you’ve actually made I can agree with 😂

  • Only bad survivors use bt and ds because if you're a good survivor you can escape the killer without being hit.

  • How about we give survivors a free escape?

Or maybe make it 4 survivors have to kill the killer that can do ######### all now.

  • I find wraith banging his bell the equivalent to survivor tbags, or ghost face doing it himself. Both can camp too! I'd say one of them with a slugging build!

Hex: The third seal OR Knockout

    Deerstalker

    Sloppy butcher

    Nurses calling

Camp all the survivors you down and attack their healers as soon as they get close.

  • Let's put them down to 90% speed too! And sure whole we are at it, let's change every killer to a wraith you is stuck in his bell form.

    Adrenaline is hit or miss.

Decisive Strike has been nerfed into the ground and is barely useful.

Borrowed Time only works within terror radiuses; stealth killers counter Borrowed Time.

Adrenaline can award players even if they don't do a gen.

Decisive strike is clearly still useful by its pick rate, and besides the fact that it has a 60 second use timer, it has the same amount of stun time it originally did and now there has been a nerf to enduring.

And for bt, tell me how much killers you see in high ranks that use stealth killers, I'd say 1 every 15 games, close to that definetly.

Your definitely a survivor only main, or bias them as much as the devs.

  • And yet those 60 seconds can be enough to change a game. More often then not 60 seconds is enough time to patrol most if the gens, and the ruin makes it possible to patrol each gen atleast once without a gen popping.

  • And yet so many people know how huge it is.

Think about it this way. How many games have you escaped with ruin. For me at rank 5 I'd say about 4 out of 5 games. When they don't have ruin, I escape basically every match.

I think the nerf should be taking critically before tried, but should also be judged after people trying it.

Also you haven't tried it either, so don't go around being toxic when there is a chance that the majority is right.

  • @BDS22 said:

So you're taking out your frustration on the community when the devs made the changes? So your goal is to purposely make the game unfun for other survivors because of a decision made by the devs? You think that will make the game better or make the devs listen to you? So your logic is when something you don't agree with is nerfed by the devs the best way to go about it is to purposely try to take the fun outta the game for everyone else. Put the blame where it belongs, not all survivors were wanting a ruin nerf. If you got a problem voice your opinion to the devs but taking it out on the whole survivor community is just immature. Sorry if I sound rude but the way you're going about things won't solve anything.

Isnt that what the devs did to the killers? Make them not fun because of changes?

  • Devs be like: Let's ruin our game.

  • @VincentRedfield said:

Kinda surprised. They nerfed it as heavily as decisive strike.

I think many people over react about the ds nerf. Its nerf made it so that it has to be used within 60 seconds of an unhook, which is usually when it's needed, especially late game, aswell as it increases it's stun time by a full second compared to its change that it got in 1.3.0 and equal to when it was released.

Honestly it's not a big nerf, it once was (when it was only a 3 second stun) but I'd say it's in a great state.

  • They ruined ruin!

    See what I did there?

Yeah the rank system could do with a rework, question is how? I mean maybe they should consider matchmaking based of off hours but even then I've seen many with 1000h that has made some really questionable plays. They can't scrap ranks that's the thing though.

The main problem is the emblem system. It's very inconsistent and often you can get no medal or as bronze/silver because you were working on a gen the whole game without the killer coming for you.

  • This is why many people call for a ranking rework. It seems that it needs a change in some way. You'll often see green rank survs playing like red ranks and red ranks playing like yellow ranks. This may because of carrying in swf, but the ranking definitely needs a change.

  • Some killers are very hard to use after a certain rank if not perfected. Take this for example.

I was a rank 2 billy and a rank 3 trapper (about 6 months ago) and even if I played a perfect game to the best of my ability I could still lose, sometimes due to bad totem placement, but usually, a great team coordination in swf.

If you want to get red rank, you either need to switch to a more viable killer, or learn every single thing you can that will help you get better at demo.

Shouldn't this be in the Share your work in creations? Also, work hard is not fair at all. Trust me, difficult isn't difficult. Tremendously is a bit harder, but brand new part exist. And with that wombo combo with 4 teammates running it. Just imagine the killers horror with 4 popping off in less than 60 seconds.

As a high rank killer, this would be torture, and by the time they're done the gen the cool down would probably be done.

    Love the name btw

    1. Stop doing dumb things.

    See it’s that easy 🙃

    Did I nail it?

    Ok...one problem.

    How?

  • I feel like everything suggested in this post would make him so, so over powered.

As someone who used to main Bubba, the main problem with him was map pressure, never his ability to down survivors, up until I'd say rank 8.

If he goes the same speed as a survivor while reving his chainsaw then the survivor can't escape unless they find a window or pallet.

Tantrum was made so you can't hug walls, so you can't over use your speed boost. If you want to neglect this diagonally position your self away from the object. Doesn't work on all surfaces and means you can't always focus on survivors.

If bubba could have 120% tantrum movement speed, he'd be A/S tier hands down. Rev your chainsaw, instantly hit a wall and go fast without the need for acceleration. He would win nearly every loop with no window.

Although yes, he does need some buffs, he needs to be treated VERY carefully. One buff and he could be insanely strong, even though it seems minor on paper.

  • Mainly Trapper or Billy at the moment, and a meme build on spirit.

    Trapper

Add ons: Trapper bag and tar bottle/setting tools

    Perks:

Hex: Ruin: As you stated, you need that extra time sometimes to place your traps around the map without losing a gen or two. Ruin helps especially if it lasts long enough for you to trap it.

A nurses calling: Usually not a perk I use but trapper is an exception. As survivors often escape from the traps and heal near by, this perk makes it so that they can be found easily, and if the survivor recognises and leaves, then they are forced to waste more time, which gives me time to place traps and patrol gens.

Whispers: An essential perk for me that I honestly struggle to play without because it gives so much info. Knowing if you should patrol a gen or if no one is on it, knowing if someone is near an exit gate, the list goes on, and this perk is just a time saver.

Monitor and abuse: Another great perk that links well with a nurses calling (Terror radius 24m and A nurses calling aura radius 24m). Gives survivors a much later reaction time of when to and when not to leave a gen, which can only really be countered by spine chill.

    How to play:

Early game set traps whole they look for your ruin. Try to place atleast one trap on your ruin, one in the killer shack and one on the main generator.

Spend time getting more traps and set them on safe loops, dont bother with dangerous loops as they will help you regardless.

If a survivor escapes a trap, use whispers, a nurses calling and monitor and abuse to see if they left the 32m radius from the trap or are still in the area.

    Hillbilly

Add ons: Doom engravings and The Thompsons mix

    Perks:

Whispers: As stated before, a necessary for me when playing killer, tells me to much info.

BBQ and Chili: Probably the best perk on Hillbilly and one of the best in the game. The ability to see a survivors aura outside of your terror radius and to be able to be on that survivor in 5 seconds is great.

The blood points are great too!

Discordance: As I don't use Hex: Ruin on Hillbilly, as his map pressure is great on most maps, discordance helps alot with gens being done fast, with me being able to instantly go over to a gen that multiple survivors are working on, usually guaranteeing a chase.

Tinkerer: Like a nurses calling on Trapper, I feel like Tinkerer is a good perk only on HIllBilly. Survivors will often expect that you are just zooming around to another gen and not expect you as they are both trying to complete the gen and don't hear the terror radius. If you are fast enough, you are often guaranteed a down.

    How to play:

The first thing to keep in mind is no ruin, but if you know how to play Hillbilly, this shouldn't be a huge problem.

Ignore god loops and put as much pressure on gens as possible. If you are in a chase for +30 seconds, go back to map pressure, or if tinkered activates, you can do one of my favourite dukes in the game. Pretend you've gone off only to turn around and down the survivor.

Use whispers rather than ignore it, as it helps with patrolling gens.

    Spirit meme build

Add ons: Prayer beads (OP pls nerf) and any recovery speed add on.

    Perks (wont be explaining them)

    Hex: thrill of the hunt

    Hex: ruin

    Hex: devour hope

    Hex: Haunted grounds

    How to play:

Play normal game up until you here that a totem is being worked on. Go over to said totem and pick the survivor off it.

    Nooby? Yes.

    Annoying to face? Yes.

    Fun to use? Yes.

  • Would you say it's worth the trade with bond though?

  • Both keys and NOED reward you for not doing your job, unless you find the hatch on your way to the next gen.

  • @AetherBytes said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/682708#Comment_682708

kept minimum to 2 because theres only 3 gens left when you're up to the last gen.

That's a fair point, should be kept as it is then I guess.

  • Lockdown: Should have a limit of 2/3/4 but only applies for 15/20/25. Longer than that could seriously damage the generator because of how fast it can regress.

Riot: Should probaly be 25%/50%/75% just so the survivors have atleast a small chance.

Hex: Restrain: Rarely will you get multiple hooks in endgame, even 1 can be difficult unless they're the last one. Its stats should be considerably nerfed, but last all game rather than endgame collapse.

  • Personally I feel getting 3 tokens out of moral support would be difficult, and should be regardless of the survivor rather than different ones aslong as there is a cool down for gaining tokens (30 seconds?)

Help at hand is a good idea, but the times where 2 survivors are in the same generator, unless it's early game, is fairly unlikely. And imagine in with out ruin. A 2%/4%/6% for a good skill check and a(n) 8%/11%/11% for great skill checks.

I know Ruin is meta, but some don't run it.

Also if multiple people bring this in God bless the killer.

  • Although I love the idea of this perk, I think the devs need to work on what's considered a chase and what isn't. Often I feel I'll be close to the survivor but the chase had ended.

  • Personally, I love the concept of it. I feel it would pair great with whispers, due to it being able to 'show' survivors with 24 meters. Would definitely help on the slower killers.

However, does it work while using there power, such as hag using her phantasm traps or Spirit using Yamokas haunting grounds.

  • I think it needs to last for a certain amount of time per one (such as 30 seconds before the dried leech clone disappears)

Aswell as the dried leech and possibly the fresh leech disappearing upon a pallet stun.

  • Although I like the concept of it, this would cause killers to camp survivors who dc. They just count out the seconds and then they'll actually be dead.

  • Although I do think Moris need a nerf, I don't believe this is the way to do it. If the killer was alerted? Sure maybe, but it's also very situational, so you'll rarely get to use it.

you havent seen all the threads complaining about noed or adrenaline? wow

Anyone who's said NOED just isn't bothered to cleanse totems, and it'll be weaker upon the release of the stranger things chapter.

Adrenaline rewards you for getting the job done.

  • Hex ruin would be pointless in SWF then. The 2 effected would look for the totem while the others work.

  • Get rid of the part where it slows you down. The oblivious status effect allows for many plays that wouldn't happen without it.

  • As yung_slug said, just a bit much. I think keep the first part and you've got a good perk.

  • @UkilledLegion said:

Why u only want to nerf???Killers nerf perks nerf nurse nerf omg.I want to buff play with your food and want to nerf adrenaline and borrowed time I think need to nerf borrowed time and use it only 1 time.

I never said I wanted a nerf, but rather see what the community felt about the stronger perks.

  • @Akunaught said:

    hell yeah. also bear traps

Trapper is in a poor place at the moment, so I hope this won't make him even worst.

  • That won't solve the problem sadly.

Firstly, the skill gap between Nurse and Spirit is alot. Nurse takes loads, Spirit only takes a bit.

If every killer was as viable as these 2, there'd be ones that would take no skill to master and would dominate the ranks, with you seeing something else every now and then.

  • Personally, the perk needs a rework of some kind. I don't think a perk should be able to negate the power of the killer without a draw back of some kind.
