    Wat?

You cannot use Keys while in Dying State.

  • Exactly- this is stupid

  • I don't understand. It was a bug. Most Killers are not bugged in anyway.

  • So you want to be able to use it while downed?

  • I say no to that. You had your chance.

  • Both keys and NOED reward you for not doing your job, unless you find the hatch on your way to the next gen.

    Not really.

A Survivor slugged is out of the game at this point. He cannot help his team, he needs help from his team. Yes, slugging is boring, but sometimes necessary.

When we would allow the use of Keys while slugged, is there any reason other stuff should not work? Like, I can perfectly Insta Heal myself while on the ground. I bet I would be able to get into a locker while in Dying State. And probably other things. This would remove the purpose of this Health State.

Besides taht, there are two ways of finding the Hatch in this scenario: You know it is there earlier, but dont jump into it right away (yes, this happens, we all know this, those Survivors who want the Killer to see they are just going to leave via the Hatch) or if you find it while already in Dying State. And honestly, this is so much Luck, it would not be good if you find the Hatch with your super-low Movement Speed to get away.

  • The entitlement here is over 9000!

But seriously, this would be unbalanced af

No, keys skip the objective entirely.

NOED punishes survivors for not completing their secondary objective.

Saying NOED is only for killers who fail doesn't make sense to me. You forgo a perk and power at the start of the game to get a relatively short but powerful spike at the end of the game. Same for other perks like Remember Me, Blood Warden and to some extent, even Fire Up.

Should I say the same thing about Dead Hard or any other exhaustion perk? You only need them if you mess up and failed in the chase. Dead Hard's literal purpose is to avoid being hit when you otherwise would have, whether that be dodging a killer's strike, or using it for distance to make a window or pallet you otherwise wouldn't have.

Have to agree, keys and NoEd are in a different class mechanically. The real analogue to keys are Moris.
