i dont agree with this personally. like your such a surv main, its so obvious
-
i think this change would not be very good for the game as both sides would not see the benefits which makes it feel unrewarding to verse and to play with it in this case. i feel like it should be bloodlust related and should help with ordeal instead. maybe giving a certain amount of speed per bloodlust tier to help with annoying killers.

Simples, BHVR don't care and time and time again only listen to 80% of their community (aka survivor mains)
Do what I do and stop playing killer, the survivor mains will then have to do more and more Killer challenges due to new challenges due to lobbies taking too long. Those survivor main killers will then farm and we are left with a game nobody wants to play because it is boring but BHVR have made as much money when you kill the golden goose.
To not kill the golden goose you have to make the game enjoyable for 20% and 80% of the community, BHVR are not doing this and to try and stay on point to this post "Made For This" is broken but whilst they try to keep it alive for the 80% the game currently is in such a mess it will be 'amended' in a couple of months... again only due to the state it is currently in and not because they want to displease the 80% or balance the game.
edit: These are my opinions similar to others
I’m not gonna stop Maining killer and I’m not gonna Pretend like the game is only ever balanced for survs but yea I do hope this perk gets something done to it soonish. I don’t have my hopes up tho, it’s the smartest thing I can do.

While we agree that m1 gets abit harder, there somethings we'd atleast like to point out:
1: Survivors tend to hold m1 against anyone without mobility anyway (atleast 60% of our games).
2: Exhaustion removes the speed part of it (which is what we see most complained about). Theres a good amount of add ons/perks that give exhaustion to survivors.
3 (personal observation): If you can tell they have it then you also know they likely have dh. If your using something from point 2 you just effectively removed 2 perks off them.
If you want we can also debate some the points of yours but the above (especially 2) generally makes us not give a **** about mft
i really wish bringing a perk worked but the majority of them are not good enough to stop it enough. however on some killers where the addons are available for this, this is a plausable way to combat this perk. however i dont think its fair to the killers that dont have an addon like trickster for example or the killers that cant really spare that perk slot as its way to valuable for them. eg. trickster. im saying trickster as i main him and i have the most experience versing this perk as him.
also the fact that people hold w anyway against most people. i dont get this point as this shows that MFT cleary has a good greater effect on an already successful strategy.
i do however agree with the exhaustion thing i guess but what if they dont bring it and what happens until they use the exhaustion perk, you have to deal with made for this. in dead hards case. for other exhaustion perks, survs dont really combine these with mft as the synergy isnt there but if people want to bring that im all for it, limits its use

It's the total number of points, so including those you earned with BBQ/WGLF and/or an offering.
so what happens if i have done some of the surveys with the thought that i didnt have to include it. should i now do 7 with that inmind

Wait until you try Plague's Adept -- where infecting survivors and having them cleanse to give you your power, otherwise known as "playing the killer effectively (or potentially the survivors playing ineffectively), actually hurts you in the Malicious Emblem, since each cleanse counts as the survivors "healing themselves". Fun stuff.
ive done every adept except for billy, docter, artist, myers, bubba and freddy. im just kinda powering through and hoping i get it in one of the games, its just very painful with what seems to be survivors bringing there best while i have nothing really. also yea plagues, i had to play her like an m1 killer, it was horrible

just found another bug where onryo cant demanifest to get out of her power

Adrenaline is already amazing. It doesn't need a buff.
how is this a buff, i suggested that the perk wouldnt activate if the player is exhausted
-
to add to this, if you spawn a gateway to shoot a chain and then cancel it, you are permanently slowed and cannot shoot again, teleport, or do any action such as hitting, breaking, vaulting etc and the noise of the gateway remains where ever it was last. aswell as this some of the animations don't have the chains in them so your essentially cosplaying onryo.

I would love this.
i feel like its such a no brainer like the killer has to do something with this perk and it sorta helps with the terrible spawns. nothing too good but enough to help the killer at the start in which most killers dont have early game help

Some of it's annoying, some of it is really fun. Butter shacks are awesome and can make getting hits there trivial sometimes once you know how to hug tech
i have been getting into hug teching, feels really good when you hit a smooth one on a loop that was hard to get around. ive found that swamp and ormomd are pretty bad for collisions.

Animation stuck? same thing happened with other killers, even survivors.
I'm about to make a report about that too
idk its wierd, i spawned in and noticed my gun didnt have the spear and when i tryed to ads, its bugged out and stuck me in ads with literally no way to do anything but ads, couldnt even shoot, forced me to dc

Ever tried to verse 2 or 3 boons on a small map? No tracks almost anywhere? Unbreakables? +2% speed?
I have, several times, and it's really not nice. (Shadow step annoys me way more than COH)
i have, i main killer and id take literally any other boon than coh because they have the chance to not work at all when coh does in every situation par plague. i can see the blood with shadow step, i might not even slug if there's a exponential and if there's a dark theory, i going to be honest, idk because i havent versed it really at all. not saying they dont have there situations because they can shine but coh is so so so much more consistant. place it and use it if you need it, the more random and far off the placement can sometimes even mean a good thing as three gens, etc. are punished by this.
-
@drsoontm said:
The problem isn't the perk itself, it's the boons mechanic. Boons need to be breakable, or limited by some tokens (A suggestion I've heard somewhere).
In their current state, they'll end up being nerfed into uselessness.
They also promote tunneling. (As they guarantee to lose all pressure otherwise)
i dont quite agree with this because than the other boons would be an issue aswell. i think what makes coh better than the others is that it counters a handful of killers and also doesnt need any brain power to be places whereas the other boons need to be places smart and even then, its a dice roll.
-
i would personally make the perk essentially give a massive speed buff to survivors healing to others so than its a resetting tool and not a heal my self in 2 seconds tool. atleast here if everyone does heal up in 2 seconds, there not doing anything for gens
-
@Canas said:
Same here, I still see survivors bring it into trials just to abuse its aura effect on multi-layered maps. It's quite disgusting really.
yea, this perk on midwich and game is obsurd af. especially when the totem is in such a spot that you know about it but cant waste the time to go and snuff it out
-
max, cant play on anything different
-
I don't really understand the point nor the the fact that the player feels like that extra kill is needed that badly to prolong the game, however if I see the last survivor after downing, of course, ill go for them, i just wont make the game last another 5 plus minutes more than it should for literally no reason.
-
@Sludge said:
I refuse to buy him with shards just because of his looks.
Survivors are lucky they put such a low skill power on such a dumb looking killer.
if he is soo low skill, why is everyone i see with him bad or not mastered him yet. hes been out long enough and surely with his low skill power, it shouldnt be hard to use

@DrDeepwound said:
Changed my in-game name to Thanks For DC after p3ing my Trickster this week, got so many DCs.
bunch of cry babies who can't handle a 110 killer. Now even Trickster is OP to these PVEers, go back to Warcraft kids this game aint for you
ye, i might do that myself cause survivors just dont want to deal with killer like his counter is wait for it, a pallet like most of them counter him, the only ones that dont are basically filler pallets and even then some do like the coldwind.
-
@RakimSockem said:
- His power is very low skill/very high reward. And that high reward is made even higher by some of his add ons.
- The majority of Trickster players will literally just face camp or proxy camp and his camping potential is easily top 5 among the killer, POSSIBLY top 3.
- Idk what loops you're talking about but if you are ANYWHERE in the center of Autohaven with the gas station = Dead. there are no tall loops. Cornfield = dead. Most of the loops at McMillan = dead. There's more low loops in this game than high loops and if you're not on a tile that has walls, you're dead in less than 10 seconds.
- Whether or not he's a good killer overall, he's irritating as hell in a 1v1 and that's where most of the fun in DBD is (arguably that's where ALL the fun is in DBD). If I'm chased by a Huntress, there's counterplay and there's mindgames involved. When she downs me, I respect it and the skill that person usually put into practicing their aim. Huntress with her base 5 hatchets is High skill/mid-high reward. Trickster gets like 8 times as many shots and only needs to hit you with a fraction of those
pretty much every map in the game has a shack, jungle gym, t,l, main building and some filler pallets have tall walls so i dont get where you are going with that and his camping is good but id easy say, bubba, plague, oni, etc. are better as this normally results in both dead whereas trickster doesnt. ive had experience with trickster and its like a 50, 50 if its both or not and thats if bts not there which good luck with that. also you said he has to hit a fraction of the blades. he has to hit 12 out of 44 which is 27.2 percent of blades to hit and huntress is 40 percent of hers. but huntress doesnt have to worry about hitting that many in a row or the fact that they can just go away. (laceration decay).
-
i enjoy the game because grades dont mean anything past the bp
-
this is very interesting on how there is a big split of both options yet peoples always end up going with the suggestion that this game is a party game and that casual gameplay is the way to go.
-
im still here playing every day, i play later on the night leading into the morning tho so i dont know if others do that too
-
judging by the fact that, you can not cheat on console, i doubt it. there have been instances of pc getting in console games but cheats are obtainable through console. the most that can happen is modded accounts carried through cross progression or last gen to next gen

Ye thats the point of it, that while you wait you chill there and as soon as the game found a lobby for you, you get an little indication that you have a lobby with survivors so you can choose to leave and prepare your build or check out the surviors or stay there till its the last 5 sec before start and then you load in automaticly.
I guess after some time it could be enabled at any time for ppl.
yea that sounds good, reminds me of the call of duty ww2 headquarters system, its a similar thing.
-
yea that would be fun, sorry if i missed this because im skimming through while in queues myself but would the game auto pull you out for the match. also would you be able to just go there without being in queue
-
mine is personally corrupt/shadowborn on killer because im addicted and iron will/ ds on surv because dont like surv noises and cba being tunnelled

Some killers hate survivors looping. Some killers hate survivors predropping and holding w. At this point survivors are just going to do what they want and there’s no point demanding they cater to how you want to play. Just eat the pallets and enjoy the the easy dead zones later in the game.
you see i really wish it resulted in a deadzone but considering most maps designs, it really doesnt at least to it becoming a problem for the team
-
@El_Gingero said:
There are so many pallets on most maps that survivors you can just play it safe and pre drop without really needing to loop.
Thats kinda my point like why play in a way in which you dont wanna loop well like isnt that the focus of killer and survivor interaction, if your not playing for that, then i dont understand the fun of survivor because tbh, theres no real insentive to win other than a bit of extra bp

tldr?
basically, nurse can throw a ball out like a slower version of an artist crow in which she can then slam it into the ground and then teleport to it. she has three and teleports in the order she has placed them in. it does go through walls and is quicker outside of the terror radius for map mobility. this was just a nurse rework idea in a version of the game in which everything was balanced in which she wouldnt have to be as good as she is. there's more that goes in but that's the shortened down version

It sounds like rubberbanding which is a connection issue, not performance
oh yea, i know its just sometimes, low framerate can make it hard to control the camera like disturbed ward, etc.

I was just playing as Sadako in Cold wind Farm.
The performance issues were unbearable.
It kept pulling me backwards and pushing me forwards. I couldn't do anything without me seemingly teleport everywhere.
This is a massive issue on console and should be fixed.
BHVR, please listen
whilst i agree that ps4 performance is bad, i dont understand why it would cause you to move differently unless you mean that your camera was wierd which yea, framerate issues do that

Its called baiting it out if you wait for the right moment you often can get them to waste it not always but alot of the time you can with a timed cancel like for me as blight i often have to rush past them into a j flick through their dh. This doesnt always work mind you its more about patience then anything else.
i dont care about dead hard in the open but if there using it for distance on a window or pallet, im sorry but theres no baiting that, its on the surv
-
@GuyFawx said:
As a ghostface player why are you asking about a perk that doesnt really effect you most of the time? as long as you mark you dont have to worry bout it. Sure its annoying at times just gotta learn how to play around it
I mean judging by the fact that everykiller in some way has to deal with dead hard against a good surv, id personally say theres not really a thing such as play around the dead hard, assuming that the player uses it properly which isnt really that hard. also gf doesnt all ways down with his power anyway given how inconsistant and bad he is against even half decent squads so dead hard would definetely effect him.
