Yeah, it does nothing except make you a bit slower. It's the same with Deep Wound when it came out or Plague before 1 Pool of Devotion was always corrupted.
How much does this hindered penalty hamper movement speed?

This release from the PTB is baffling considering that the full release is even buggier than the test build. Not only do I not want to play with an unfinished killer... I dont want to play with this many bugs on live either.

unfortunately not, they just give different gifts every day
Oh... so like the halloween event but without the event and even less daily blood points? That... sure is something I guess.

Wait, events are back? How come I haven't seen anything about it? Is it like summer BBQ or pustules event?

Just gonna leave this here. Seems like a good and relevant place for it.
Looking foward to the next patch when blindness will cause pools, alarm clocks, and pig boxes to be hidden from survivors afflicted by blindness perks.
-
If we are going with non-human survivors I think Viktor shows that killer doll types are possible.
-
His kit is just... really basic and underwhelming. It can be fun at times using his slowdown to force down early pallets and make 1v1's easier. At the end of the day however he simply does not have a widespread power that enables him to pressure all four survivors and slow down gens.
-
This game is really tough for new players to get in to and these perk grinds certainly are doing no favors.
-
If you feel the need to make any change, just make it so it only works on the most recently hooked survivor.

if you need to force the sexual orientation of fictional video game characters in any way something is terribly wrong with your priorities ... I mean, if you want a new killer called the Gay Master because you like to see a rainbow projectile hitting survivors (exaggerating) I understand your point as this influences gameplay. But just having an LGBT character bc there is none so far feels wrong
I mean how do you think an LGBT character would even look like? You wouldnt know if Claudette likes women for example
Same way we know she is neuro-atypical... and the LGBTQ character may already be in the game.

We make our own minds with characters, if we so please and choose too, this is a horror survival game, we don't need anything in this matter represented as if we did BHVR would have to take a moment to take a look on others.I am not disregarding anyone in this matter, we dont' need it, it's just a horror game, if you wish to believe character is of a certain sexuality then fair eneough but no, sorry and beg pardon I personally don't think it is needed here.
I always thought David was LGBTQ. There are hints yeah, but BHVR is letting us interpret these characters how we wish. Though concrete representation is always nice.

You mean the bug?
Yeah, not a fan of either of these bugs.

The issue is that the most popular perks for both killers and survivors, rather than being fun and creative niche perks, instead directly address fundamental issues and strategies with the game. For example:
DS/BT: Tunneling is a supremely effective and viable strategy, eliminating survivors one by one is far more efficient than spreading damage equally throughout the duration of the trial. DS makes this approach in killing less viable.
Unbreakable/Soul Guard: Similar to tunneling, slugging is also a very effective and viable strategy. As long as a survivor is on the ground they can do little more to contribute to the efforts of their team than a survivor who is sacrificed, as such this perk is run to make an effective approach less viable.
Iron Will: There is little difference in the efficacy of an injured vs fully healthy survivor, however the greatest detriment an injured survivor presents to themselves and their team, is that their cries of pain can more readily draw the killer to themselves and their teammates. This perk allows survivors to mitigate much of the downside of being injured, and pocket healing plans (adrenaline, inner strength, etc) for later on in the match.
Ruin-undying/Pop/Corrupt: While the goal of the killer is to sacrifice all four survivors rather than to explicitly prevent the gens from progressing, it is very clear that preventing the gens from progressing is by far the best way to extend your opportunities as a killer to meet this goal. It should then be no surprise that the "meta" perks affect these items in the trial more than any other item present such as windows, pallets, exit gates, etc.
BBQ: Bloodpoint economy and uh... aura reading I guess too, but sweet BP.
The issue many people have with these types of perks, beyond being pejoratively oversimplified as "second chance perks" although I am not gonna get into that, is that by their nature they are very passive perks. However, since they are so good at countering effective strategies by the killer, or so beneficial to ones optimal goal as a killer, one cannot run them without greatly hurting ones own chances of success (Just look at how non-obsession or no slow-down games go). And that leaves little room for, perhaps more interesting and situational perks like flip-flop, and the pebble, whispers, and overcharge. So not only are the most meta perks rather stagnant, but since they are all rather passive or reactive perks, they offer little variety to the gameplay on a trial by trial basis.

This perk is insanely stupid.
Survivors and killers are grouped by skill. The matchmaking has been worked on over and over, and yet we still have a perk for killers that gives him an easy win despite not killing anyone the whole match.
NOED is basically like giving a Gold Star to a dumb kid who failed his test. It is the killer's responsibility to get better. When a killer camps the exit and camps survivors, it puts survivors at a huge disadvantage to be downed and get 4 kills when he barely made any progress the entire game. It's not the survivors' fault that the killer sucks.
This perk needs to be removed from the game.
How is a killer defending their totems till endgame indicative of lack of skill?

So ingot this idea after I accidentally upgraded my discordance to 2. What if we could recycle perks that are lvl 3 for some BP and have them appear back on the blood web? The amount you would get would be less than the amount you spent on it but it would be good for quick bp or resetting perks like discordance.
You poor soul, I always worry that I'll get stuck with discordance 2 at p3.

Literally makes chases that much easier.
I mean... yeah, Freddy's snares/pallets were designed to help in a chase, just like many other killer powers.
-
Captain Cutlers Ghost from scooby doo. Stains portions of the map, gens, and survivors with his fluorescence.
-
Everyone always jumps on pennywise for the Steven King inclusion. But I always thought Jack Torrance as killer, Wendy as survivor, and the overlook hotel/maze garden as the map would be a much better fit for dbd. Especially with breakable walls now being a thing.
Loved seeing another person consider it , even if i have to disagree with the rating.

IMO gen rush still works on blight. The reason why he seems to be able to stop gen rush is because he can utilise ruin undying tinkerer combo the best. High mobility alone is not enough to stop gen rush.
As for nurse, she does have counterplay.. also, good nurse is extremely rare.. I have yet against a nurse that can kill more than 2 people since her nerf..
Yeah there is a reason why nurse was the worst* killer and freddy was the best* killer.
Ok nurse < ok freddy
Great nurse > great freddy

It was announced during the 4th anniversary stream. Plus ruin or undying can get cleansed early on.
Oh I know i was just joking around. This early slowdown announcement is a surprise though, obviously I know nothing about it however.

Are they able to blink vertically to places like balconies? Not related, I just don't play nurse a lot and am curious.

Even the devs said there is practically no difference.

If you're having difficulties understanding my post, let me help you out:
"Or how about just simply go for someone else? Why is your concern the survivor on the gen who you well know was recently unhooked. No one is forcing you to chase this survivor."
Meaning, THIS survivor is not the only one on the field, why are you next to this survivor? Why aren't you going for someone else? Why are you purposefully chasing this survivor who you know was just recently unhooked AND there's an obsession in play. Why THIS survivor? Why not anyone else? There are 4 survivor in the game, did you not know that?
So no, it's not about halting gen progress, it's about patrolling other gens, or chasing someone else. Why are you re-chasing the survivor who was just recently unhooked.
Was the survivor recently unhooked? Yes. Is there an obsession in the game? Yes. Is the survivor baiting you? Yes. Did the survivor DS you?
If you've answered yes to these questions, then the fault likes on the killer and his choices and playstyle.
Change it and stop complaining about survivors ability to stun you for 5 second, they didn't force you to chase them again, and they sure didn't force you to open that locker. You have control of your mouse and keyboard and/or controller, not them.
TLDR; you're not the victim, go for someone else. No one forces you to re-chase the survivor who was recently unhooked.
Oof, well thanks for that emotional and lengthy response I guess.
I guess I'll stop being a victim posing question asking fella now.
-
Not to mention survivors can lean on eachother if they need help. This hard is bp intensive to get in to.
-

Are you asking why killers want to attack survivors doing gens? Its cause killers win by stopping gen progress...
-
If you are going to make any changes, just make it so that any active ds is nullified by hooking a new survivor.

It's a nerf because you could prevent hooks.
It was a buff because now you can DS instantly and for longer.
But for real, considering the variety of changes made, a rework is a more appropriate term.

Does not matter nerf does not equal buff to to something else.
I am not saying it was a buff then. I am just saying the enduring changes made decisive more viable, and a benefit was incurred as a result.

That's true but a nerf to one perk does not equal a buff to another.
I mean, considering the thin scope of the enduring nerf, I think it is safe to say that the enduring nerfs were a boon to decisive strike.
