I don’t DC, but I get why you do it. Seeing my teammates self caring against legion who had sloppy but no Thana makes me want out ASAP

If they give the killer the hook then I think it's ok. In your example I would find it hard to stay in that match also lol

Only one of them got tunneled and it was kinda accidental. It was one of those times where I was going to check on hook after some patrolling and they got unhooked on my way back, but I could only find them and not the person who unhooked them. Besides that I made an efort to chase other people, sometimes switchin up targets mid chase, and there definitely wasn't any camping involved, they were too effecient to even consider going that route. And before you ask, the reason I morid them even though I didn't really mean to tunnel, it was because at that point they had gotten a couple gens done already and I really needed a leg up.

Well if you needed the pressure then fair enough. It's just hard to see someone with 5k points and not assume tunnelling or camping.

  • At the minute Legion is up there. I don't mind if I lose as Legion since I know he's one of the weakest killers and I find him fun. Also I keep calling Legion he even though I always played as Susie and now Julie.

Bubba is the other one. Just the feeling of running at someone with 3 stacks of PWYF is hilarious.

  • Nothing really. Been rank 1 for a long time so it means nothing.

The ranking system means nothing to me since it also is extremely easy to level up. It's almost funny how easy it is to get to red ranks (in particular as survivor).

  • I'm pretty certain it's just a charm. So if you play Adam but have a P3 Meg then you can show it by wearing her p3 charm.

I want them to ban people for doing it, probably also remove struggling so it can't even be done.

May I suggest I different approach then. If this is such a big problem for you then maybe you should initiate the first chase. If I'm worried about the quality of my team this is what I do.

Bring object and make sure the killer chases you before anyone else.

  • I found his complaining funny but this just looks like a 4k mori where you tunnelled the unhooked survivor.

5k points is extremely low and I don't know how he didn't get more unless you tunnelled him immediately off hook. I could be completely wrong but that's how it looks.

It would explain why he's certain you didn't pip. How can someone who tunnels and camps get rewarded by pipping.

As I said I could be wrong so let me know if i am. It just try to understand both sides version of things.

  • I'd say after the game is over it would be good. Show how many were swf then give bonus Bloodpoints from facing them. People may have a meltdown though when they can't blame their loss on a 4 man swf lol

Definitely not before the game though. Don't want to have lobby dodge simulator.

  • I'm shocked I heard a bubba nerf discussion without camping being the main part of it lol

  • Pennywise 30%

    Candyman: 15%

    Xemomorph: 20%

    Pyramid Head: 10%

    Jason: 5%

    Pinhead: 0%

    Other: 20%

Wouldn’t be the worst idea, but I feel like it wouldn’t be as good for certain maps like cold wind

On tiles it would be, if balanced correctly. Corn maps have loads of tiles so it work nicely I thought.

It's an early draft idea that would need so much fine tuning to work.

  • What I'd personally love is the ability to climb on walls in indoor maps and the ability to crawl over tiles.

It would need balanced accordingly but I think it would make chases interesting. No can't just look left and right now, especially when looping.

You know, sometimes I want to camp as Bubba just to chill. Ya know, sitting, drinking beer and fishing. Ya know, just to enjoy the process.

I'd say there's better ways to chill but to each there own 😂

Well I appreciate that input as well. I don't really ever get the feeling they are trying to be toxic. I mean with one I ran him on a chase for the longest time, stunned him 4 times, and when he finally got me,he threw me in the basement. Then he sat there and whacked me over and over and let everyone else escape.

I mean maybe they could make the chainsaw work in a different way,and that would alleviate some of the issue. Whether it's a speed increase,or whatever the good add ons do. I thought it was kinda fun you could knock peoples stuff out of their hands, and BBQ is a perk most people would consider must have. I just was coming from the perspective of "well they must think they have to camp to win with him,so he either sucks or isn't fun."

I think people play him with the intention of camping some of the time. If the game goes well then no need but if it goes bad then they can camp easily.

  • @kazakun said:

I think I've literally seen two that didn't in all the matches I've ever played against him. I appreciate you though. I'm glad there's someone. I've only ever used him twice and I was able to get hits with the chainsaw without camping. One was around a tree even, lol.

I just would like to understand the mentality of people that do. Most people aren't going to admit they camp. Granted, some are low rank, but I've seen perks on them that are from other killers,so they obviously had to put some time in the game.

So my only guesses are they don't know that's a thing that people don't like,or consider unfair (and in most cases considered a bad strategy)...or they think that's the best way to win with him. In that case I think that says something about the killer as well as the player.

The reason people camp can be for a number of reasons either they feel they have to if they want any kills, survivors are all at the hook, theres a gen or door near the hooked survivor and they just want to toxic. I'd just say not all camping (unless it's face camping) is just to be toxic. Sometimes you need to see from their pov why they might feel they need to do it.

At high ranks getting chainsaw hits are extremely difficult that's why he is considered a weak killer. You need certain add-ons and perks to actually make his chainsaw good outside of camping.

  • Screenshot_20200524-195849_Gallery.jpg

Here's a picture of the pig with the reverse bear trap on lol

  • As a P3 bubba who beat a team on haddonfield today I can say we don't all camp.

    Unfortunately some do..

Not on the list, but Hag. Especially if you get hooked in the basement. Makes unhooking a long and arduous progress. The jumpscares are fun though and I love her visual design.

Thank you. Your parents have raised you up well.

  • There's a good saying that applies to this discussion. "Don't fix something that isn't broken".

  • Bloodborne Chapter:

    Killer: Gehrman The First Hunter

Survivor: Doll? A new customisable character?

Unlikely because bloodborne is a ps4 exclusive.

  • Disturbed Ward for me. The map is too big and the main building is extremely strong. Also totem spots are extremely bad also.

I'd say Shelter Woods is next for me. I hate how bad the tile spawns and pallet spawns are. The map can either be ok or complete trash as survivor.

  • After a trap has been put onto the survivors head the trap remains inactive, meaning it does nothing. After a generator has been completed it becomes active. While the trap is active you:

    • Have to search Jigsaw Boxes to find a key. There is 4 boxes unless the killer brings an add-on.
    • The timer lasts 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Searching the Jigsaw box takes 8 seconds I think.
    • If the timer expires or you attempt to escape by the exit door you will die.
    • Escaping by the hatch won't kill you when the trap is active.
    • If the Pig starts chasing you your timer pauses.

You can search boxes before your trap becomes active. If your trap isn't active and the gens are completed then you can escape even with the trap on. Pig spawns with 4 traps to start the game, this can change by add-ons. She can trap the same survivor multiple times.

I think I've covered everything. Hope this helps you mate.

  • Jigsaw is one of my favourite characters ever. Loved how he didn't target innocent people like in most other movies and shows. The traps were so inventive and were extremely cool.

Also to me the best chapter they've released. Everything feels Saw from the ability to the map to Detective Tapp. Also that trailer for the chapter is my favourite by a country mile.

It's a judgement call. If you think that BHVR is this sloppy, it's Pennywise. If you think that they're trolling (which I do), it's a red herring.

They did accidentally release Ghostface to players a month or so early lol it wouldn't shock me if they made a mistake like this.

  • I won't tell you if your right or not but your answer may be hidden in the question below 😏

If you know a P3 leatherface has iron grasp and agitation, do you expect insidious?

I'm never dissapointed with any character thats added because I feel they'd be added eventually anyways. I'm still under the firm believe it's a RE chapter, alternative is aliens or jason.

I'd disagree slightly with that lol even if they added 2 licensed chapters a re they still would need to do it for 4-5 to get all the more popular people.

Do you mean Resident Evil? That would be a major shock to me but I definitely wouldn't be against it. Suits their descriptions anyway since the survivor is mysterious (based off the movies) and it's a big franchise. Wouldn't say the killer is iconic enough though if it's Nemesis.

  • My p3 bubba is crying right now..

  • Can I have your money if your wrong? 😂

If your right tag me again here and I'll say your the best killer/survivor I've ever met. Deal?

I agree, the marketing team has actually created a disastrous PR nightmare by not leaking out enough info, the hype levels are too high and anything less then Alien or Pennywise with be a massive disappointment for fans.

It's more the fact they leaked it was a licensed chapter. I'm happy we don't know the killer ahead of time for once, makes it exciting.

Bubba shouldn't be dependet on perks, you saw how Freddy works with Discordance

Shouldn't be dependent but any changes to a killer must be done while making sure they aren't broken by perks.

Just look at Nemesis and Legion. Initially Nemesis on Legion would make your deep wound timer run down while he's still chasing you lol so they had to change legion so if your running your timer stops.

I find fun using different perks on killers for once. Rather this than seeing every killer run the exact same perks.

  • This hype is dangerous. I can't wait to see a Pennywise announced but would love to see Pyramid Head. I'd scream to see Alien..

Then cry if it's actually Candyman lol

Dbd is my favorite drinking game. And the more I drink the worse I do as killer as my motor skills decline. But I'm fine playing survivor. I know survivors are for the majority toxic to killers talking ######### in the chat box, teabagging, etcetera. But playing killer is more challenging, and stressful. Yeah I said it.

As someone who got completely pissed last night playing this I respect the drunk by daylight lol

I wouldn't say majority are toxic btw.

But wouldnt we also need to be right behind survivor then?

Yea we should tbh. Imagine those speeds with PWYF and Nemesis lol I'd become sniping bubba.

If I have 3 stacks of PWYF and am holding my chainsaw fully charged with your 105 speed then I'd annihilate teams. I'd be moving at 120% speed with a fully charged chainsaw 😂😂 I can run across the map chasing people with a fully charged chainsaw faster than normal killers run lol

Actually I change my mind I want your speed 😂 survivors looping me while my chainsaw is fully charged and I'm 120% speed.

  • @Healthore77992 said:

As we know Leatherface Is one of the weakest killers in the game, maybe with this changes we can make him more viable.

                      CONS

-When Leatherface is charging chainsaw he goes to 86-87% movement speed, thats slower than carrying survivor.

-When he bumps into object he gets stun for 5 seconds while Hillbilly gets 3 and catch up in no time.

-When he downs survivor he needs to wait for his animation to end.

    - Has no map pressure.

    - Add-ons, most of them are useless.

                    BUFF/REWORK

    - While charging the chainsaw Leatherface doesn't lose movement speed or he goes to 105%

-When Leatherface bumps into object he gets 3 seconds stun like Hillbilly.

-Leatherface can stop his animation after third swing.

    -Add-ons need complete rework.

Its not complete rework but i think this would really help him, if anyone doesn't agree with this please tell me your opinion, im open for discussion.

The speed shouldn't be higher than the survivor. Maybe slightly increased to 95%. Cancelling the animation would be nice also.

The problem is, most of those things you listed are just people playing badly. You don't punish people for playing badly. I can make a similar list for CS:GO

    1. Teammate took the bomb to an unsafe area and died leaving the bomb exposed
    2. Teammate shoots/team kills you
    3. Running and giving away your team's position to the enemy
    4. Spending your money on save rounds or saving money on buy rounds.
    5. Body blocking a teammate an preventing them from getting out of line of fire.
    6. Flashing your own team
    7. Putting a smoke in a spot that benefits the enemy

All of these things are bad plays but aren't bannable because being bad at a game isn't bannable. but DCing, teamkilling, or suiciding is because it fundamentally ruins the game for everyone else in a way that is not just "playing badly". It's intentional. You are intentionally ruining the game for other people. CS:GO has just as many ways a teammate can screw you over that DbD does, but they still ban you for suiciding or feeding or dcing form a game.

If a teammate does those above things, it doesn't give you the right to ruin the game for everyone else. I'd also argue for CS:GO it's worse because games last much longer than in DbD. At least in DbD if a teammate screws you over games generally end in less than 10 minutes. Matches in CS:GO can last 45 minutes or longer. And even still they ban you for it.

Well may I ask what would you want done then? I'm not lying when I say I've never really had a problem with it before when I play solo survivor.

I won't hook suicide unless it's for a good reason and I'd say many more are like this. I'm not afraid of any killer so no reason to do it there. Don't hate a map that much that I'd do it either. Faced ever add-on in the game a 100 times over so I don't worry about them.

Yet if I have a 3 minute chase and no gens are popped your telling me it's worth staying in the game? I'll never dc and I always make sure to give the killer their bbq stack and hook points out of respect.

Maybe the solution to stop hook suicide is to play swf?

There should be an unofficial "Toxic SWF bully team" registry somewhere that we can go reference when we see the names in Lobby. Be nice to be able to dodge all of those.

I see why your saying this but it can't be done sorry. People could define "toxic" as being pretty much anything. If the devs don't want to add a feature where survivors can hide there names before lobbies then your encouraged to change your build to face this swf.

I'm joking that we aren't the one data point after all lol we were still being toxic by not giving her what she wanted.

  • Ok lets find other examples of your teammates not helping you in dbd.

    1. Opening exit door when it's not safe to do so.
    2. Camping exit door while someone is getting chased or on the hook.
    3. Dropping a pallet when the killer is chasing someone else.
    4. DC for any reason.
    5. Self-caring instead of helping your team while killer has exposed status effect.
    6. Doing nothing while someone is getting chased.

Team based games where you don't always help your team and don't get banned.

    1. Friday the 13th (escaping ahile your team isn't safe)
    2. Any battle game (not following your team which can hurt them in fights)
    3. Leaving in non competitive modes

If I kill myself on the hook it's for a good reason. Also if I see 3 urban users in 1 game unless they are just running a meme build we probably aren't escaping that game lol

I do miss being able to see ranks. If i know the survivors are all purple, or worse all rank 20s, i could take it easier on them. No reason survivors shouldnt see killers rank too. But tgen i guess tge flip side of that is some would see it as an opportubity to be really mean unnecessarily

Unfortunately some survivors would see a rank 12 killer and decide "let's bully him" which I hate. As survivor it was nice to see your teammates rank so we know whether to get the killer's attention to start the game.

Not all of them, but many are.

Its refreshing to play against people who just want to have fun rather than debase their opponent. That’s why Chest Protecting Bubba and Trapper are fun.

It's annoying since we can't tell what rank our opponent is. The toxic swfs are annoying but that's why I hate it when a swf does something nice and people are just ignore it. It's like people don't want to think a swf can do something nice.

  • @DelsKibara said:

Correction, Bully Squads are toxic. SWFs just happens to be a part of them.

I consider those two as separate entities because there's a difference between wanting to have fun and wanting to annoy and ruin someone elses day.

Exactly thank you. We don't know if we're facing a red rank killer or not. She got no hooks and opened the other door herself so I said that's just die to endgame and give her the 4k.

You are the problem. Just because your team is bad doesn't give you the right to leave them. Name any other teambased game that allows this. You can't do it because none of them do.

This isn't any other team base game lol

  • 3 gen strats definitely not overrated. You need to get a few hooks before that stage but the 3 gen is extremely strong.

The only thing I will say is green ranks are more likely to set up the 3 gen whereas good red ranks won't let you get a proper 3 gen. The other another thing is sometimes maps don't have a great 3 gen and it can hurt you late game.

  • Distressing, Thrill of the hunt, overcharge and zenshi tactics. Every amazing hag player that has gotten a 4k against sweaty comm swf teams runs this build.

    This is definitely 100% tru3 😉

  • Just saying if I get hooked and see 3 urban players then I'm getting out of that game lol

  • @Primalux135 said:

    For example

Unbreakeable should make you get broken status per 60 secs

Dead hard should make survivor go slower for a certain ammount of time

Adrelanine should have a penalty in speed and broke status till escape.

It can be that Killer doesnt scare the survivors, more likely survivor scare the killer.

There is a downside to dead hard.. it's called dedicated servers.

I don't mind the unbreakable one actually.

Adrenaline isn't used that much anymore so I don't think it should be touched. You should have at least one killed before end game anyway.

0^0 is classified as 1 or undefined.

Any number to the 0 power is 1.

I'm not sure how to explain it in simple terms, but you should have learned about the law of exponents:

x^a/x^b is the same things as x^a - b (basically you're subtracting the exponents)

Here's an example with real numbers:

    2/2 = 1 ... right?

But 2/2 can also be thought of as 2^1/2^1, which still equals 1

So, the law of exponents tell us that 2^1-1 = 1

    Now you see why 2^0 = 1

Yea I was going to say anything to the power of 0 is 1.

  • I'd be definitely disappointed. It would all depend on the power. It's just the fact I don't think the license isn't as strong as alien or Pennywise.
