@CashelP14 i have to make a precisation.
Your list is very accurate, but is susceptible to fram rate drops.
Let me explain better: if i played on a good working pc, with 60 stable fps and no drops, then i would 1000000000% agree with you my man. BUT, many of us play on pc's with low specs, ps/xbox/switch, or even (my case) mobile. A drop in fps is way more dangerous for a killer. Sometimes, on my phone, the game freezes for 1/2 whopping seconds (i got an high spec phone and a stable network) and on YouTube footages of ps4 gamers (not sure about ps4 pro or even xbox one x) i saw this is a common problem, despite being less severe.
I dearly love nurse, she's my favorite and i won't give up on playing her even on phone, but even with the add on that tells you where you land with your Blink is so easy to miss the target...
Geez guys, she's S tier on pc, but high to low A on other platforms.
Same applies to huntress and clown. They fall apart on unstable fps systems
Hey I respect that. Frame rate really does make a massive difference and so does sensitivity. I tried to make my list all inclusive but that obviously comes with this problem. I didn't think about this enough when I made the list so I probably should've dropped Nurse to High A.
Even killers like Bubba have problems from frame rate drops. I know when I'm running right behind someone revving the chainsaw the game lags a bit. When it came to Nurse I asked my mate about how she is since he plays her a lot on console. He said that she was S tier so I went with him a bit on that.
-
I'm not a killer main I swear lol I play a lot of killer but definitely play more survivor.
The perk doesn't need nerfed. It's the survivors fault for letting the killer get this perk and ths killer did play will only 3 perks for the full game.
-
Only if he gets a leg cosmetic that makes him float like nurse.
-
The thing is he is actually overrated against good teams. Last night I looped him for 4 gens on growning store house. 3 weeks ago a Devotion 11 Freddy got no hooks on Dead Dawg Saloon. The game wasn't even a gen rush. It lasted at least 8 minutes.
Everyone has their opinions I personally just don't think he is as good as people say.

id switch Deathslinger and Bubba (but put deathslinger in front of Doctor and Pyramid head, and put bubba in front of trapper), then move oni to high A tier (in front of Freddy), then move Freddy behind huntress
Respect the love Deathslinger. I knew Bubba was going to be the controversial choice lol the only reason I put Oni so low is because of how survivors can stop him getting his ability. If he guaranteed got his power over time, without hitting a survivor I would've placed him higher.

It's rather fair criticism actually. I don't think the guy is trying to be an ######### or overly complain here. You could have presented your initial post better as before I started reading through and seeing you were actually commenting I thought this was another "Here's my tier list k thx bye" post. God knows not everyone is going to read though everything, especially with it getting longer and longer so having a more thorough initial post would only help things.
As to the actual post itself I can respect your opinion as it is just that however I personally disagree with how you place Bubba. I disagree with quite a few place but he's probably the biggest. You say you do great in red ranks with him and I believe you. You are devotion 9 and at that level you probably school almost every group you play as killer. I'm only devotion 4 and I win nearly every match unless I play a killer I don't know like Spirit or Nurse and even then I'll still win if the survivors are silly. Someone with over twice my experience and I can only imagine that unless you're facing higher tier groups you'll have no issues winning no matter what build you use.
In one of your posts I think you mentioned any killer would be elevated to higher ranks the more you play them simply because you have more experience with them and I agree. This is why I think you have Bubba so high in the first place. Not because you main him per se but because you do play him with good results and have so much general experience with the game that I think you are artificially inflating him higher on the list.
Even with the PWYF combo which is about the only good combo he has (which personally I don't think a killer's tier should be based on a single layout but this is your list so that's fine ^_^) it shouldn't work on "good" survivors in the first place. Whenever I see a Bubba the first thing I look for is obsession change and from there I know to drop pallets early like the killer has Spirit Fury. The obsession should disappear so as not to feed Bubba anymore and after he gets that initial down with PWYF Bubba will have some faster pallets then normal but otherwise will have pretty much nothing. Faster pallets doesn't mean that much as well otherwise Clown would be higher and the instadown without any stacks is rather difficult against people that can actually play.
It's not like you can surprise someone else either as you only need the obsession to change one time and everyone should know what's going on and play properly. I don't know what you consider good groups in the first place but if you're playing Bubba and after one obsession change people aren't dropping pallets early then I don't think the group should be considered good or even paying attention.
Once again I'll also reiterate, the fact you do well with him I don't think means all that much for a tier list simply because you would probably do well with him perkless and using speed limiter in the majority of games. As an example I'm trash at Spirit/Nurse and can rarely get a kill yet I would never place them in low tier just as with PWYF Bubba I could win every game yet I wouldn't place him even close to high tier.
This is your list and I'm not trying to change your mind or anything, just offering up my opinion on your opinion. ^_^
You read his last part "throw it all out. Start over" yea this guy isn't trying to complain over nothing lol
I respect the talk over Bubba though. You've presented it in a good way that we can have a good discussion over it. I only started playing Bubba about 2 months ago and I was quite surprised how well I've done with him. He was someone I wasn't expecting to be as strong as he was.
The reason I put him so high was purely based off how good he can be if played you play him decently. I've played the game enough to also know when a team is bad, average or good. I'm surprised with how many good teams I've beaten with keys and map offerings as Bubba. I actually made a post in the gameplay guide contest on how to make Bubba A tier killer.
I looked at snowball potential, chase ending potential and map pressure. Maybe other categories but at this moment I can't remember lol
Sorry if my reply isn't great mate. Having a few drinks with my mates so I hope this made sense.

Hey that's your opinion mate. The thing I'd say is the Pig without perks is better than some of the rest without perks. Her bear traps are a very good slowdown tool which most of these killers don't have. I'm just happy you didn't put Bubba in the bottom 3 like most people do lol

You don't need to make things easy for me. You need to make clear to everyone what is going on in your head. We can't read your mind. It's just called due diligence man. I'm totally down with you wanting to share your thoughts, but damnit man you gotta finish transmitting them. Then we can have a proper discussion. Peace my dude.

Someone other than me, most noteworthy, The very first reply in your thread, questioning what perks you had in mind.

Someone other than me disagrees with the chosen tier identifiers.

Someone other than me curious about why Freddy was placed where he was. Something more data would likely have aided. Instead of wasting a ping back and forth asking then answering, poster could have just provided criticism initially.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1386295/#Comment_1386295 Poster expresses out of alignment with your TOP PICKS due to consideration of basic addons. We have no idea if you play any of the killers they called out with addons or not.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1386380/#Comment_1386380 Poster could have had a more meaningful bit of input, seemed like they wanted to show more enthusiasm i gather. But there wasnt a loadout specified to begin with, and so too they left an equally pointless comment.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1386386/#Comment_1386386 This guy is BEGGING to talk about loadouts man.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1386412/#Comment_1386412 Adds input but is pretty hollow... they could haved used the loadout you had in mind to spark up a proper reply.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1386458/#Comment_1386458 Another person that seems itching to say something! But had no inspiration. Hollow comment.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1386468/#Comment_1386468 another one
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1386941/#Comment_1386941 This guy is really asking for some loadout detail for trapper, he didnt say the words but this is def him asking you.
Your very selective on what you read from these lol first off I pretty much answered everyone's questions from the comments you've shown. It's not easy replying to this many people.
Every single one relating to "perks I've had in mind" pretty much relates to Bubba's placement. Funny part is they seem to know the exact 2 perks that I mentioned to you earlier, and I didn't even need to tell them.
Everyone who mentioned the High/Low parts of the tier list I explained why I did this. They didn't complain about it like you, they just asked why I did it that way. Some didn't even care about the High/Low tiers and just joined in.
The one relating to basic add-ons had to do with Spirit, Nurse and Freddy. I stated I don't think the common add-ons make much of a difference and that stays true. I think with common add-ons or not Spirit and Nurse are both better than Freddy. Even basic Billy in my opinion is better than Freddy. With common add-ons or without add-ons I also still see Myers as better than Ghostface.
All you came into this discussion to do was complain. If this tier list isn't too your liking you can watch many other tier lists online, who do it differently to me. Sadly for you this is the last bit of attention I'll be giving you. Send your reply to this since I know you'll be BEGGING for the last word but I'm leaving our mini chapter here. Have fun and stay safe out in the fog 🙂

Politely going to defend Trapper. I find his traps invaluable in stopping and slowing survivors. Their progress with unhooking, repairing and general travel is slowed due to them looking for traps. And placing a trap under a window or pallet is an old move, but still works gloriously if you put pressure on survivors.
I will admit I hate facing trapper. The thing is his ability is countered by too many perks for me. I still fall for the window traps so maybe he's SS tier lol

Oni low a? Weaker than leatherface and doctor? Yeah , as an oni main i am offended and i will not forgive you. You shall be punished by blood fury.
I'm sorry Oni chan, please forgive me 😥 you as an Oni main can probably get your power extremely quick. My problem is I think some survivors will make it hard to get those early hits to earn your power, which can waste a lot of time. If I admit Oni has the best smile in the game would you forgive me?

This is something I was thinking about. I was almost going to put her top of high A tier but I felt like she didn't belong besides the rest of that tier.
@MadArtillery said:
Still waiting for people to put hag above nurse in these tier lists but overall it looks fine. Legion, and ghost face should be higher but as with wraith they are very addon dependant and it did specify the lowest addons. Clown imo should definitely be higher but as for where I'm not sure yet. Been finding him to be almost like a setup killer, forcing so many pallet drops that he's nearly garenteed to win if he has enough slowdown perks to keep things in line and he doesn't need to actually break many pallets so can wait till he has pressure to declare the map a deadzone.
I've also really been enjoying Clown recently with his new change. C tier is a good place for him since people seemed to label him D/F tier for a very long time. Ghostface is also feel is add-on dependent with the recovery add-ons. Legion I also really enjoy playing, such a chill killer to play.

* -"The killer is using their best perks."-
.... You need to define exact perks. "Best" is subjective. Please list the exact perks that you have in mind if you want to be so strict about your own criteria. You might as well have not written this line, cuz without the perks it's the same to anyone that isn't you
* -"The killer is using grey/no add-ons. This doesn't include extremely strong greys like huntress's exhaustion add-on."*
.... Which is it, none, or brown? (Get your monitor colors checked btw). This is a big one. Add ons shift the killer powers immensely. Something you clearly tried to acknowledge but you left this rule too open ended. And AGAIN, didn't list a single add-on tied to a single killer. Again, you might as well have not bothered telling us this, cuz you didn't list who is using what. Please list the add-ons that you have in mind and what killer they pertain to. Without that, it's not useful to anyone who isn't you.
*-"The reason for these rules is just so you understand my mindset"*
... It's at this exact line that I begin thinking you're just f*&king with us. Are you joking? No really.. right after you waste time explaining things you didn't explain.
And dude, low a, high a, low b.... ######### man. What is that. No one says that. You can use a letter once, you are permitted to use a double like SS but dude.... You spent, some, time out of your day to present your thoughts. But you didn't consider the format of information that you threw out into space for others to pick up...
Throw it all out. Start over.
If you wanted to f*ck me you should've bought me dinner first 😂 it's funny how everyone else understood what I meant with this except you. But I'll explain everything quite easily for you now 😉
Well I had to specify the killer uses perks since that makes a massive difference in these lists. I had to say best perks so someone wouldn't say "How isn't lightborn, monstrous shrine, zenshi tactics and mind breaker Clown not F tier". Also I didn't specify the exact best perks because no one exactly agrees on a killers best build.
For me Bubba uses PWYF (Play With Your Food), Nemesis, BBQ (Barbecue and Chili) and PGTW (Pop Goes The Weasel). However I've seen recently that tru3talent thinks Ruin and Surveillance is better than PGTW and BBQ. The thing is everyone understands when they are ranking Bubba on his ability (except you maybe) that he needs PWYF and Nemesis. So I hope that explains why I didn't want to specify exact perks.
I always called them grey add-ons, once again everyone understood what I meant except you. I said grey add-ons because most killers will have plenty of them and they won't break the balance of the killer. Back to Bubba for the example. I use Spark Plug and Vegetable Oil when I play Bubba, these help him slightly but not enough to bump him up a tier.
How many people who have done tier lists explains the exact builds and add-ons they are using? Very very few. I did for mine to help people understand the way I was thinking.
Well I said High and Low tier and if you don't like it then go watch someone else's tier list online (their is quite a few). This is my tier list so I wanted to do it my way. If I just had S, A, B, C then each tier would be overloaded. If I decided to spread the tiers out more to include D and F tiers then killers like Trapper and Clown wouldn't be in their correct tier. High and Low tiers help to show how diverse each tier can be.
So I'm happy you spent, some, time out of your day to read this. Hope you stay safe and enjoy the rest of it 😉

I honestly think that bubba needs a bit of chainsaw speed buff before he can stay up there. In my opinion he's too slow when he attacks, considering that he also slows down while charging his chainsaw.
Bring PWYF and Nemesis and you'll have the extra speed you need.
@Maperson said:
Honestly man, i respect you and your opinion, but i can't agree that Bubba Is better than demo, trapper, plague, gf, ds etc.. U put him that high bcs you know to play him better than other killers, if everyone play their killer to the fullest Bubba wouldn't be so high, i saw somewhere you said that Trapper Is easly countered by object, gen rush etc.. while same can be said for Bubba, if its a great Trapper it won't counter him much, he shine in late game, different playstyle. DS can also end chases in second with STBFL, with great aim it very hard to escape, i could list for other killers more but im at work atm..
I wouldn't say if everyone knew how to play a killer to his fullest he wouldn't be so high. I'd actually say that would make everyone extremely high. Probably all A tier tbh.
The thing about Trapper was that his power is completely countered by object and the time to set traps takes too long. For me a longer chase for Bubba pretty much guarantees the next chase will end extremely quickly.
I can admit that since I know how to play him well that could've been why he may be slightly higher than Doctor and Oni but I designed the tier list based off people knowing how to play the character decently. For example I know I'm not a great Doctor but I can 4k pretty easily against most teams bar a swf. Same with Oni and Huntress.
Deathslinger was a tough one. He was one of the last people I put into a tier. I looked at everyone and thought he wasn't better than some. In particular Legion I thought was better than him. I felt like Legion was High C tier but I didn't want to put Deathslinger above them.
I respect you too mate. The great Bubba has blessed our conversations lol
-
Hey I uploaded my tier list yesterday so their isn't much reason to state why mines would be different. The only thing I will say is you haven't played against many decent Pyrmaid Heads if you have him so low. This is why I separated my tier list into high and low tiers since killers being D and E tier just aren't correct.
-
Yea that'll be fair. How about we make them 95% movement speed to compensate for this. Also that is their only ability, after they use it they are only a M1 killer.
Jokes aside no. Try explaining to new players "oh yea this killer stops us from talking". Imagine the amount of DCs, not because survivors need comms to survive but because they are playing the game to talk to their friends.
Also imagine if you were wrong about the team using comms, completely wasted ability.
-
I generally feel killers are the most vocal, whereas survivors who complain about balance generally get shut down because "they are the power role". At the minute solo survivor is weak and swf is strong.
The thing is people just don't understand you can't win every single game, with every killer. When I play Clown if I get beat by a 4 man swf, I don't complain because it's a tough killer. Also certain maps are a pretty much gg so again you have to just except that.
-
I'm genuinely shocked the butt isn't the first place you looked, always the first place I look.

the 1 shot saves so much time it automatically makes him better than demo. Same reason ghostface is better than wraith.
The nurse rework made her pretty painful to play because you have to walk at 95% survivor speed a lot of the time, and she feels clunky and her bug list just keeps piling up with no fixes every patch. Billy outclasses her now because nurse lost all her map pressure.
Yea the Myers one could be swapped if I made the list on another day tbh. I based it more off how long getting tiered up can take which with some games takes way too long. Ghostfaces is another where his exposed is definitely good but without his recovery add-ons this takes way too long to regain. Base Billy wouldn't out class her for me due to how long the chainsaw takes but with add-ons he could be above her.
Ow my chest..
How about you change your opinion to my opinion then we can celebrate by playing as Meg 😂
I'd be shocked if someone didn't fully disagree with the list so I respect it lol
@Kebek said:
@CashelP14 I know, opinions differ so much with tier lists based on personal experiences. Having many points of view is a good thing for thinking out of our comfort zones.
DS can snowball if survivors swarm him then he can punish them really hard pretty fast but if they run away it can be tough yeah. His map pressure comes mainly from getting short chases so you need to be on top the whole match otherwise losing becomes pretty real pretty fast but perk help with that a lot. DH is strong but with how fast his ADS is survivors need to predict the shots before they happen or just when they're about to reach safe spot. It's still not countering him as hard as many other killers, I would dare say it actually hurts him less them most of the killer roster.
People won't ever make a collective decision on a tier list. Everyone plays differently and has different experiences. Discussing about them is still quite fun even when I can disagree about some choices made.
I nearly read DH as PH there lol would've been a really weird reply.
When you say swarm him, does that mean you run STBFL? His ADS is ridiculously fast which is probably his biggest plus. Dead hard annoys me on him because any time you shot at more than 8m distance you can see the shot hit survivors, but they somehow dead harded.
I'm just shocked with this tier list that I didn't get completely slated for Oni being lowest of A tier lol
-
@Kolonite said:
When you put GF under Wraith and Bubba in A. Yeah, don't know how accurate this list is.
Purely speed and map pressure. Both rely heavily on their best add-ons but wraith edges it due to speed traversing the map and how his ability can help him in chase. As @Dwight_Fairfield says if his reveal wasn't broken he would be below wraith. Sometimes you get revealed too easily, other times you can't.
Bubba is really really strong just not enough people know it.
@OldHunterLight said:
Question, why ghostface that low?
He is B tier, don'tthink too many will argue that he's A tier. It's just compared to the other B tier killers he is the lowest in my opinion.
@TerrorTrooper said:
Sadly i need to learn how to counter pyramid head if he's not S. Is there a video/guide to counter him? Sadly i play on console and can't turn the screen like a mouse could to look behind me at times. Always try to watch out for the red zone but always get hit outside of it.
Expect the fake since that's his strongest tool. If he misses a shot at a loop then drop the pallet or vault a window. This way your forcing him to hit a tougher shot or break the pallet which gives you distance. Also use dead hard, helps a lot.
@Cius said:
The map has more impact than the killer, the pallets and structures that come out and especially the survivors.
Those lists say nothing in a random game, but you can make a list of who is better at chasing as long as the survivor has safe pallets and structures
from 2016 to 2018 almost everything was safe so if a tier list made sense
Sorry mate that can't be done. Each tile and map makes too big of a difference for the killer. Shorter loops suit Freddy but longer ones may suit Bubba. Short walls help Huntress and Plague but taller ones help hide the killers who are smaller like Legion and Pig. Spirit to me is the best to deal with the structures and maps she is given.

@SloppyKnockout said:
That's a pretty out of whack tier list, not going to lie.
What parts in particular lol
@Kebek said:
@CashelP14 None of that really excues calling DS worse then any killers put higher then him. Since I main him yes I know quite a bit about him and play him extensively against good players at rank 1 since he came out. I can assure you he's (when played well ofc) at least very high B tier and possibly up to mid A tier at least from my experience playing him for months at red ranks.
Also playing badly is part of getting outplayed. If I played perfectly each match then I would have 100% killer/escape rate since I would never do any mistake in any aspect of the game which includes mindgaming opponents. DS counters half the loops in the game and he's still got options against the other half. Not many killers can get so many hits over as many loops as he can.
Ofc you're entiteled to your opinion but I felt like sharing my view when you've ranked him as low as you did.
Hey I respect it lol someone else wouldn't put Bubba as high but in my opinion he is A tier. My opinions (was are 1000000000% percent right theres no way I could ever be wrong) are shown here but everyone else feels differently which is good. If people didn't believe in Deathslinger then we wouldn't see him at all.
For me he just lacks certain things. Snowballing isn't something I see him being the strongest at. Dead hard hurts him a lot also with dedicated servers. Also map pressure isn't something I see him being the best at either.
I'm actually happy we discussed this. I didn't expect Deathslinger to be one of the more controversial choices on this list but I'm happy he has support. It's tough since if I did move him up and Legion up like some people have said then I would be saying Ghostface is the 3rd worst killer in the game.

What console do you mostly play on? Cuz I'm on xbox and I think that can have a slight impact on tier lists since for me anyway I think legion is quite good on console and I'd say huntress isn't as good. But that's the same for most range killers. I definitely agree with death slinger and clowns Ranking. For me clowns buff while making him better isn't enough to put him any higher above other killers.
Legion can be extremely good if played correctly. It really is just getting that final hit to down a survivor where they struggle. The list was meant to incorporate both console and pc so huntress is higher up because of that. She definitely is tougher to play on console but she still at worst would be low A.
@Cius said:

Aw why did you say that. Now I know the tier list is ruined 😂
@Kebek said:
Deathslinger in C tier makes me laugh as DS main. I know it's just an opinion but you must have seen or you are a really bad DS player if you rank him so low.
I've faced some good deathslingers. But not one where I've felt like he outplayed me, more I was just playing bad. If you main one killer you can generally destroy at any rank since you know the killer inside out.
This is why the tier list is split into high and low. In my opinion some killers aren't on the same level but I wouldn't call any of them D or F tier.

@NoobGooch21 said:
I respect most of your tier list, the only part that I really disagree with is the placement of trapper. Now I have to admit i am Nintendo switch player so you can take my comment with a grain of salt but I am devotion 1, but enough of that my point is trapper is not bottom tier, but he is definitely not top tier. Trapper has the same potential power to end chases like bubba but trapper needs time to make that possible, the main perk that I believe that trapper always needs is dark devotion to have the best chance at winning, I do know a lot of people use noed on under powered killers like trapper, I personally try to avoid using it. So if I could change your mind on trappers placement I would hope you would change him to top of low tier or bottom of low B tier.
Trapper can be good but he can be countered by too many things. Object, comms, small game and gen rushing. I perosnally hate facing trapper and he does have good snowball potential. The thing is the counters are too much for me to ignore.

If freddy is using fake pallets then he is already weaker. They can be good on certain maps but generally snares are better. Oni is definitely really really strong against babies but this list is based off good survivors.

I understand your point about Myers and Demo. It was extremely tough to separate these both tbh. Wraith I put higher than Ghostface because he can travel the map a lot faster and his uncloaking can give him a speed boost for loops.
Nurse is tough because since her change I haven't found many good ones. The thing is she is more difficult to loop compared to someone like Billy.

I don't think Trapper and Deathslinger are bad killers, they are actually good if you know what you are doing
They definitely aren't bad that's why they are C tier. Just compared to everyone else I can't put them any higher than the rest.
He was actually tough to place tbh. His chase potential is good and the terror radius is extremely small but I still think he struggles to down survivors quick enough.
@Axe said:
I will always consider Nurse to have her own tier, Spirit is good but not in the same level without the right loadout
Before her changes I maybe would've agreed but she definitely is a lot tougher to play after the change.

Killers fit into 3 categories. 1 Hitters, map presence and garbage. Demogorgon? Garbage. Clown? Garbage. Pyramid head? Garbage. The latter is only doing well/4k's due to tunneling. If he was a better killer players wouldn't have to play him as a dick so much.
How you imagine Myers is above ghostface is beyond me. I'd also disagree that nurse and spirit are above Freddy. Especially since you are considering basic addons only.
Not everyone tunnels as him. He is actually extremely good in chases if you fake the ability. Even if you don't tunnel the fact you can avoid ds is extremely good. Myers is above Ghostface because once he gets tier 3 he can down everyone. His tier 3 lunge along makes him earn his place about Ghostface.
Freddy isn't as good as people try to suggest. Yes he is good but he is OP. Any decent spirit can down you easily if you don't run iron will and nurse practically avoids looping in general. Against bad survivors, freddy is a god but any decent players can loop him like he's the clown.

I can't say I agree with Bubba in A tier. Even if you are running nemesis / PWYF you are talking like ~60 seconds to both eat a pallet and build up to 3 stacks and then down someone. A minute of no pressure and then if the team is smart they will just start prethrowing pallets to avoid the nemesis. That's going to be 2-3 gens close to done by the time you are getting your first hook against a really good team.
I also think legion has gotten quite a bit stronger since they introduced blood echo. You can be getting off 3+ man exhausts pretty frequently and not having to deal with dead hard is just so good.
That's only if you go for 3 stacks immediately. I think getting 1 is a good start and then pushing onto other survivors. I'm doing extremely well with him at red ranks and I'm not even using double charge add-ons (they are way too strong on him). If you lose a chase you generally get at least 1 stack which can affect your next chase massively.

I don't get how huntress and leatherface are above Oni. I saw your points as to why Bubba is so high, but Oni can get rid of pallets quickly, has massive snowball potential and can end chases fast, he does all of this better than leatherface, and Oni has map pressure on top of it. Huntress is only really amazing with iridescent head and the belt, but she has no map pressure at all.
You tie in well with this point. Oni is good AFTER he earns his power. Before that he is a big guy who is tall and easy to see over loops. Your too reliant on getting early hits on survivors which can cost you multiple gens. If he gets a few hits early then he is amazing, but only if he gets those hits. Huntress can end chases early and have massive snowball potential.

As usual, the list is terrible. Imagine thinking PH is bad lol. Literally the best killer in the game. And why the hell do people still think huntress is good.
He's top of low A I don't know how that is considered bad lol
@EnderloganYT said:
I wonder, why is GF a low B? to me he seems like an A at least
He can be good but has a few fundamental flaws. He can expose survivors but they can still outlast that ability, that's if they didn't already reveal him. Without his recovery add-ons he takes too long to earn back his ability. He's definitely not bad but compared to everyone above him I can't put him any higher.

Makes sense, against a great team that knows how to loop he can be weak.
If it was perkless/add-on less then he'd be higher.

Bubba will always be S-tier... In my heart.
Realistically however his ability requires survivors to mess up A LOT. If people loop like korean-100000hour-streamers you will be lucky to get 1 hook before 4 gens pop. I had 5 gen chases against red rank Bubbas myself and also beat Nemesis/PWYF Bubbas by dropping pallets JUST out of stun range to deny it just like Spirit Fury.
Pyramid Head (another A tier according to you) requires good anticipation, power faking and aim. If you as a killer meet these requirements all survivors that get chased WILL get hit no matter how good they are at looping.
See the difference? One power has the highest lethality in the game BUT doesn't do ANYTHING as long as survivors know how to loop (and deny Nemesis or Spirit Fury) while the other power just works against any survivor EVEN WITHOUT PERKS as long as you're good with the killer (Pyramid Head).
I get 1-2 minute 4ks as Bubba pretty often even against red ranks but that's not because I spent most of my 4000 hours playing Bubba but because of all the mistakes people do.
Yesterday a Meg literally REFUSED to stun me with a pallet that was next to a hooked survivor. Guess what happened.
I didn't respect the pallet and instadowned her. Ran back to the hook and downed the survivor who was going to unhook. Saw the 4th survivor while downing the guy that wanted to unhook. 4th survivor didn't want to drop pallets either. I didn't respect the pallet again and... Got a 4k in 1.5 minutes against red/purple rank SWF (at least 2 of them had clan tags) at 5 gens.
Does that mean Bubba is a beast or does it mean they messed up A LOT? Think about it for a minute.
If you had a 5 gen chase against a PWYF Bubba then he isn't that good. You do remember I said this is against a good team, not a 100000 hour Korean streamer. The thing is if a survivor knows what your doing then leave them, catch another survivor off guard. The thing is dropping a pallet is easy against a 0 stack PWYF, but a lot harder with even 1 stack. I've faced really good swf teams as Bubba on Blood Lodge and Haddonfield and gotten the 4k, even with keys being brought.
Pyramid Head is still new so people are still learning how to face him. If you can make him miss once, drop the pallet and if he breaks it then you get distance. If not then it's an extremely big loop where the killer is encouraged to try and hit through the loop, which is a lot harder. Dead hard also guarantees at least one miss. He was originally High A tier but I changed my mind due to how punishing a miss is.
The mistakes part can be applied to pretty much every killer below S tier. Billy is a high A tier killer but he relies on survivor mistakes. Oni relies on survivors giving him a hit. Huntress also relies on mistakes. Your job as killer is to force survivors to make mistakes.
You did well in your game to force the mistake. I'll edit the discussion to say that these are in order. So Pyramid Head is above Bubba btw.

I really want to know why bubba is in high a tier
Because the perk combi you probaly put him there is nemesis and play with your food. But personally i wouldnt put him this high even with this perk combination
He's low A tier. He can end chases within seconds. He can get rid of pallets extremely quick also. He also has massive snowball potential. If you play that build properly he destroys teams. I've had great success with this build on all the horrible maps like haddonfield, ormond, disturbed ward and midwitch.
@Momentosis said:
why not just make it A,B,C,D,E,F
I didn't do this because either I would have A and B tier being over crowded or killers like Oni, Doctor and others would go down to a tier they aren't meant to be in.
@Cheers said:
Legion is low A tier personally.
Thats fair I understand why you feel like that. I just feel like against better teams who don't heal and know how to loop they struggle. The fact they are small helps them in chases though.
@hahadrillgobrrr said:
Why isn't Freddy S-tier? People seem to think he is OP and I've witnessed people just DC'ing/suiciding left and right when I'm against him.
That's just baby players. He 10000% isn't OP and can be looped well by smart players.

Bubba for killer 1000%. For survivor I'd say Nancy.

It's a regular part of life here in the DBD community. Tensions are high both in and out of the game, you learn to get used to it after awhile
Had a guy earlier who was "friends" with my mate just got angry over a game. Sniped us the next game and just stood over my mates body with rancor and bear trap on pig. Wouldn't hook him just slugging him till he either bleed out or we finished the gens for rancor.
We laughed our heads off at how petty some people can be lol he only did this because we "gen rushed" against him. Anytime we faced him he got salty after the match because he couldn't kill anyone.
-
Welcome to dbd. If after your first year on this you don't have 3 people targeting you for no reason then your not playing the game right lol
-
If you have good headphones it's a good thing. They lose distance and you can still follow them using your earphones.
Also with Lightborn this basically guarantees a free hit.
-
Got to disagree. I genuinely at red rank haven't had a game like this in over a month. Playing a lot of killer recently and they are usually 4ks.
Solo survivor is definitely not balanced that's why you get these 4 man swfs (which we definitely aren't sure yet that you faced). Solo survivors find reliable teammates, which then become very good 4 man swfs.
-
Toxic killer play styles, toxic messages from survivors.
-
The thing is your rank 8. If you were doing this for weeks or more at rank 1 I'd consider it.
With how quickly killers can down survivors at red ranks though, I'd doubt it work as well. Probably 99% heal, bring a medkit and use it once the killer gets close.
-
The release of pyramid head shows exactly why DS is in the game. This killer pretty much makes tunneling and camping easy. Not surprisingly a lot of killers are taking advantage of it.

Thats a bummer. I always liked the ability to get enough BPs during these things cuz EVERYONE is using cakes that you use 1...and you get 3+ back, lol. Makes it feel like you can throw as many of em as ya want out and you'll NEVER run out.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/QONHHB7CY89Y/20200623203736-1.jpg
Threw afew lvls in Hag earlier before playin a game as her to get her crown. Came across this BW with 3 cakes, lol.
Just want to say Hag will steal your cakes and not let you use them. I'd level up every other killer and survivor first and don't give her any 😁
-
People are just babies on this game lol
I voted a 4k last night as Pyramid head. Easy game with baby survivors where I didn't tunnel or camp. Got messaged after the game for slugging (and I think they mentioned tunneling which was funny). Apparenlty they really hate slugging lol they hate slugging for the 4k.
That was all fine. I was texting a group chat with my swf mates and my mate sent in a picture of someone who was messaging him. Turns out it was the same guy 😂😂 apparently the game after I faced this survivor (and his 2 friends) my mate got them in another game. This guy was complaining that my mate had found him in a locker. My mate was a doctor with whispers and this guy was adamant that whispers didn't work when someone was in a locker lol
Btw I just want to clarify we weren't targeting this person. My mate didn't know I got this guy half an hour before. He just sent the messages into the chat and I recognised the name. I can't believe the odds that we would get the same guy two games in a row and he would rage in both 😂

How are you sure they were 4 man swfs?

So basically you're using a fallacy? Since you can't prove a point you move the discussion into a different direction?
What is unfair remains unfair. It's like saying moris are unfair and you say "And keys are fine?" no one talked about keys, the topic owuld be moris.
No I'm just stating a point. Is it harder as survivor to get the crown? Yes. Is it also harder getting adept as Killer? Yes.
The mori example doesn't work lad lol because if someone said moris are unfair they would also say "keys are unfair" or people in the comments would also say it.
I brought up my point not to change the discussion, but to prove their isn't any bias.
-
Someone said this earlier so I'm going to use it. Why do killers need to get merciless for the adept?

Same for my Meg. Myers is my the only person who has all the old stuff from old darkness offerings, slight and moderate chances to go to maps and old event offerings. It's unfortunate because I want to prestige him but I can't now.

I haven't tried it yet but I want to run Deathbound and MYC. The unhooked heals the hooked survivor then revealed their location, they also get the oblivious status.

In your scenario, the Killer could just stand on the hatch until it opens and close it since they can see its aura.
Also do you mean after the 3rd survivor is sacrificed? Because letting the hatch open when there are still 2 survivors is dumb.
I was meant to write the killer cannot close the hatch after it reopens but I forgot.
Also the 2nd last and 3rd survivor are the same thing.
