- Allow Perk unlock tokens to be earned. These can be in the rift (every 15 tiers) or can be earned every 25 levels for people below Devotion 1. Veterans can exchange the tokens for 250,000 BP.
- Increase max bp in a trial
- Bloodpoint gain modifiers. Further in the rift you go, the bigger your bp modifier is (every 5 tiers you get +5% bp modifier)
This gives new players a reason to play go for challenges.
-
Very honest lol

Honestly this is the one killer that if they accidentally gut her I wouldn't be upset.
Even though I hate her they need to give her some quality of life changes like...
- Flashlights shouldn't work vs her. Fix traps someway to compensate for this.

I think he meant the next level of the current tome (1-2-3-4), not the next entire tome.
I'm dumb lol your probably right, I just misread it

Wouldn't even matter if you were hacking this games banning system is non existent lol

@KingFrost said:
Stupid question: But do you still get rift shards if you do the challenges after the next level of the tome opens?
No. So you get the points but the rift shards you don't get if you wait till the new tome opens

I think the real answer is probably much more simple: they donβt intend to change them, and donβt even notice the change so never mention it. Itβs probably tied to some other mechanic that breaks the timing unintentionally every once in a while.
I'd be shocked lol it's never mentioned, it just happens.

@DragonMasterDarren said:
to be fair you can get blinds even if the killer turns around at so at this point i don't even think the devs know what they want flashlights to be like
I'd just like them to explain what they want them to be like. There's no way they keep messing with flashlights by accident.
First it was the timing, then the pov, then the timing, then the angles lol they change something with them every few weeks to a month.
-
I want firecrackers to have 2 uses per game rather than one, considering how weak, and awkward they are to use.
More features to KYF
Maybe a nerf or full rework of Hag π€·ββοΈ
-
Each side a very oppressive build. Survivors have the build you mentioned and killers have Corrupt, Ruin, Pop and Tinkerer.
DS is never seen anymore so I don't know why it's mentioned. With how easy it is to tunnel Borrowed Time needs to be run. I literally lost 4/5 games last night because no one had unbreakable so at least 1 or 2 people need to run it. Dead hard is annoying for certain killers but a lot can counter it quite easily. Also with dead hard if you wait you can bait it out, just remember they have it.
Also there's no need to shout at everyone. You said no one can say they're good if they run that build? This is like me saying no one can say that they're good if they use Corrupt (Strider), Ruin, Pop (Undying) and Tinkerer on Spirit or Nurse.
-
Can't wait for the eventual post of "Look how good RNG and GOOD maps for killer make them OP" lol
Oh wait, that won't happen lol
@Aven_Fallen said:
Funny how this is shared at least 3 times now, but it is considered completely fine that a Killer can win 50 games in a row. In a more realistic environment than those Cowshed-videos.
"Yeah, because Otz is doing that, he is a very good Killer!"... But Ayrun and Zubat are representations of the average Survivor player../s
This is pretty much what I mean. People will sit on here and say Plague needs more love yet he's got over a 100 win streak with her.
Some people just have to accept as killer that the game can be unlucky sometimes. He could have this map with good survivors and not a great build. The next game the survivors could get a Wraith on Hawkins with Ruin, Pop, Undying etc..

You're right, I forgot that the glyph challenge gives the same reward as a master one.
That's grand π just wanted to make sure
-
I feel like your builds are pretty decent. Bubba is a killer who I feel like you can have fun with the perks you run.
Here's my build:
Corrupt, Pop, BBQ (only for the points otherwise it would be Bamboozle) and Tinkerer.
Corrupt helps get rid of some pallets or get a few downs before far away gens can be worked on. Tinkerer on a 1-hit down killer is excellent.
One build I haven't run but I'd really like to try out is.
Ruin, Undying, Hex: Crowd Control and Corrupt/Pop/Tinkerer
Neither of your builds are bad it just depends on how you want to play.

This is a route that also preserves 14 challenges (even better than in the original post, it preserves all Master challenges, allowing you to stockpile more bloodpoints). It so happens that you can circumvent the Zarina challenge with this one.
I may be wrong but I believe they are the same amount of points saved. The middle challenge that you collect which I save is the same amount of bloodpoints as a master challenge.
From what I see that's the only real difference between my path and yours. Someone can confirm for me if that challenge (think it's a glyth) is the same as a master challenge reward wise.
-
@Laluzi said:
Isn't that one in the bottom right corner inaccessible on this path?
You can go backwards from the end of the level. It's hard to see here but zoom in and you'll see it
-
@Zozzy said:
I don't understand the point of this.
If your like me who is excited for a new chapter coming up and want to save bloodpoints for it then here's a way to save more than the typical 1 million.
For newer players they won't probably use this but players like me who have every perk unlocked like doing stuff like this.
You need to reach the end of the level to unlock the next level when it's released. So I make sure I reach the end, while completing challenges and not collecting their rewards along the way.

@Bwsted said:
You were warp speed on this one. Thanks as usual!
I needed to wait 10 minutes before I could even see the challenges lol
I thought it was going to be worse but it wasn't too bad. As soon as you identify which challenges are at dead ends then it's a lot easier to find the path.

@DapperTrapper said:
It took him time and effort to down someone. You press M2 and ruined his whole chase. Maybe the person he just downed t-bagged him the whole match and you came in to save the toxic t-bagger.
Anyway, it is a valid game mechanic, but anyone who pretends whoever uses them is not out to hurt the killer and his fun is lying.
That last line is a weird thing to say. This whole game is about doing stuff to hurt the other side, which in turn ruins their fun. I don't think flashlights are only using them to hurt the killer.
I love flashlights. I use them a lot, especially with my friends who aren't as good in chases because it helps keep them alive. I'm not using them to just purely annoy the killer.
Flashlight clickers are a different story. Same with just general toxic survivors who might t-bag or do other stuff.
It's good you agree it's a valid game mechanic. I just couldn't not say something about that last sentence sorry.
-
Really want a Soulsborne chapter.
In my head it would be Lady Maria, Gehrman, Sister Friede or Slave Night Gael.
Slave Night Gael would be my personal favourite for a paragraph. He starts off running on all 4s then with his power he stands up and walks around. Give him the repeater crossbow and some of his other abilities.
Otherwise for a full chapter I'd rather Gehrman from a Bloodborne chapter.
-
I disagree with the title completely.
I main survivor just because I prefer playing with my friends. But I've played a lot of killer over the past 4 years and I have nearly every killer with max perks.
Now after reading the actual discussion I understand what your trying to say. People shouldn't complain about the other side till they've played that side enough. It's why when I've played killer and someone messaged me something dumb I laugh lol
-
I would and I know 99% of people would also.
You may not change your perks, you may not skip the lobby but you definitely change something in your gameplay since you expect comms when vs a swf. It may be very little but 100% something will change.
I'm happy you can't tell your facing a swf before a match.
-
My opinion on a Legion buff has always been that he needs some Lethality. My idea was this:
Every consecutive frenzy hit takes off more of the survivors DW timer.
- 1st survivor hit: 3/3 DW timer
- 2nd survivor hit: 2/3 DW timer
- 3rd survivor hit: 1/3 DW timer
- 4th survivor hit: Instadown
This rewards the Legion for not missing any hits while also punishing grouping survivors. It also means if a survivor mends too fast then the Legion can maybe down them also.
Keep the fact that he cannot hit a survivor who already has DW on them so he can't tunnel the 2nd survivor.
Maybe have every consecutive hit also increase his speed slightly just so he can find and hit that next survivor on the bigger maps.

Ahhh I think I get it now, you can't actually do the next challenge unless you have claimed the previous one. I didn't realise as this is new to me and I have just been claiming and moving on. Thanks.

I was also confused as to why you want to save some, I've read the explanation and essentially it's to claim a load of bloodpoints later to spend on the new RE stuff right?
What I am still unsure of is why do you claim any at all that aren't a direct path to the next page (i.e. the offshoots)?
This is all probably not relevant to me as I am still getting killers to 40 and just got Plague with the 4.5k shards discount. I'm prob being a noob and missing something obvious but would appreciate if anyone can explain, thanks.
The thing is if I don't do it this way then I'll have like 60 challenges to actually do and complete before I can claim them lol
I do it this way so the second I decide to claim them, I can do it immediately

-
I really like him now. I think he's in a pretty good, especially with his add-ons lol
-
What can I do to get this closed?
Asking for a friend lol
-
My main is Bubba but I haven't played him as much since the rework.
But I know him quite well and I think here's the best tips I can give you.
- Learn how tight you can turn corners without hitting them. This is just practice but it's vital.
- Learn how to use charges. For me I always count the swings. 4 swings (then use a charge) another 3 swings (then use last charge). This helps me a lot since I haven't played him enough to gain muscle memory of his power yet.
- If a survivor is at a pallet with no window then just chase them. Start charging your power when your getting close or time it so that your power is fully charged when you reach the pallet (so if they drop it you'll immediately be ready to break it)
My build is Corrupt, Bamboozle, Pop and Tinkerer. You can change Corrupt and Pop for Ruin and Undying but I personally prefer the consistency of Pop/Corrupt.
Pay attention for two perks. Spine Chill and Spring Burst. These are the two perks that give me the most trouble. If someone has Spine Chill and your undetectable (tinkerer) walk sideways to it to avoid Spine Chill.

Can you explain im not sure i understand...dont you get bloodpoints whether you do them now or later?
You do every challenge now but as long as you don't collect your reward then the Bloodpoints can be collected later. You won't get the rift fragments though on that challenge if you don't collect it before the rift ends.
-
Facing a baby killer isn't fun, no challenge. The average killer is the most fun to play. Sweaty killers aren't fun because we can't run any meme builds against them.
-
Yes hate the Hag π she's a very unfun killer to play and I'd recommend playing any of the other 23 killers in the game

when do you collect the ones you save? once the page is done? or after then entire tome?
The idea is that I'll spend it on the new chapter. However after seeing Twins and Trickster I decided to save them.
I'm now going to spend them on the 5th anniversary event when we've got 5th year gateaus π already have over 2.5mil saved up before the start of this tome lol

People use the finished challenges to save their BP awards for when the chapter arrives so they can use them all at the same time. It's mainly for people who have most things they want already unlocked so they don't need to spent it anywhere else.
Thanks for helping him out mate π I really should start including why I do this in the post lol

I run a full drunk SWF on weekends. So we're just having fun... We don't care about generators. Some people like to actually enjoy a game instead of sweating. But I never bring a flashlight if I solo queue and I already see one. So don't worry Karen, gens will be done. Not like I'm not the only one doing them anyway because it's always just ME doing gens in solo queue.
Don't get why you had a go at him mate. He was just giving you information on double flashlights (the thing you asked about).
He's right with what he said. Unless both know the exact timing then it's pointless. Plus why take that risk when it's easier just having one person to do?
I do drunk dbd for 8 hours on Friday and Saturday and hit loads of flashlights so I pretty much know them inside out.
-
You can but the timing is different. The blinds stack so the normal timing doesn't work
-
It was a trash anti-tunnelling perk that's why people stop running it.
It was an ok anti-tunnelling perk but the bit extra it gave you is why people used it. No one can try and say they never use anything busted if it helps them stay alive (hello every broken add-on in the game).
Difference is now that the extra bit of safety is gone, all that's left is this easily countered and terrible anti-tunnelling perk. It needs a slight buff for people to use it again.
-
Mate you lost credit with me when you said you tun Self care and you said your swf were all running urban evasion? No good swf runs urban.
Now both sides have second chance perks. Killer for example have:
- NOED
- Undying
- Spirit Fury (If your counting Deliverance then I'm counting this)
Also for all those second chance perks that increase/give an extra health state then you need to include every power and perk that removes 2 health states. There is so many of these I don't want to count them all.
Also you can't half the amount of pallets or loops in the map. Your only hurting solo q which is already the weakest group in the game.
Right now no killer should be complaining. After the DS nerf the tunnelling has been at an all time high and has already had pallets and maps nerfed a year ago. The Game map is a mistake survivors also agree needs nerfed. After every nerf killers can't keep going "Great, now nerf again".
-
Personally hope they keep the chest luck.
Though I hope they change chests so you can only loot keys while using Plunders.

@NoLonEbalons said:
I swear they will either nerf Blight or Hag in Midchapter 20. Calling it and mark my words!
They're fixing blights bugged turns luckily. Hope your right about Hag though.
-
Few tips before trying to flashlight:
- Remember the survivors butt is in the same area as the killers face. This is good when hiding behind cover.
- Make sure your aim is good. You want to practice this at pallets and get used to it. Make sure the second you start flashlighting, it's aimed at the face.
- Learn a good distance (helps aim). I'd say roughly the distance from one end of shack to the other is good. Though you can blind from closer and farther away.
- Bring Iron Will for when your injured.
- Once the killer starts moving, STOP WASTING THE BATTERY.
Now here's the timing currently:
- When the killer picks the survivor off the ground they lift them up, then drop them slightly to hook their arm under the survivor. As the begin picking the survivor up again start blinding about half way up the body.
- You can go for some crazy flashlights at roughly 60Β° either side of the killers face if you can't do it face on (not guaranteed).
- You can do it at lockers, pallets, windows, gens and unhooks but these shouldn't be practised till you've learned the easy flashlights.
- Flashlights can be very forgiving. You can aim at the killers chest and still get the save. As long as you beam is near their face then you can readjust (aim closer to their face) while still blinding them.
Edit: forgot to say don't try saves with Ash and the puppet hand. For some reason it veers the flashlight more to the right than with anyone else.
