no the killer purposely dcd after hitting a survivor that had a purple flashlight with franklins
I guess he's failed his code "I do this for my next fellow Killer so he will not suffered by this flashlight" and decided to DC as his own punishment
-
I dont like to lose 6000 BP item so I decided to lose 20000 BP match too
-
I have this idea...
Making Item free for Survivor, so it will be equal to Killer's power. Except items (without addon) are now mostly a training tool rather than aiding you in trial.
For the Toolbox: 32 charges, no speed boost & sabo, but constantly spawn skill check. So the real speed boost here is depends on your ability to hit Great skill check.
For now I bring Toolbox only to sabo for some BP

Its alarming to me how many people are bringing up Spirit as an attractive character, considering the fact that she's literally a chopped-up corpse.
You need to enhance your imagination and think out of the box man.
People dont see what theyre actually see

If you ignore the boils you can see she's very attractive.
This.

Makes me wonder did the zombies react to the perk?
Or do zombies react to explosion notifications in general?
Thats what I think. Tinkerer, Noway out, Diversion,Sabo,Redh herring. Fail skill check ..

The peek was that Brown bag brought me to rank7 with Trapper

If you know you can beat them, then beat them. If you know you can beat them, yet you lose to them, then it's pretty much your problem lol
Op was talking about killer faking farming into kill though.
-
My firm perks are Bloodwarden, Noed.
Quite a hard choices between Rancor, Noway out, Remember me. 5th perk allow me to use them all.
-
Predator stalk their prey before hunting.
-
The only buff Deli needs is having teammate knowing your Deli is activated so they dont have to go for unhook.
-
Oh hey its the Doctor, everyone equip Calm Spirit now
I guess this is enough explanation.
-
A killer that not OP in chase but have passive map pressure is fun. Nemesis and Pinhead are the two. They know a longer chase doesnt hurt Gen speed as the others.
-
Yes
-
We should be grateful with that little they give.
Though Im not agree about grinding perks on all characters equal to need food my entire life.

I like the map the way it is. It's maze like and unique compared to the other maps. I like mazes.
I think they should implement the one from Kubricks version of The Shinning. The one with Jack Nicholson.
Though, this game is about timing crucial, a miss swing result for another 5sec of chase (in dead zone), which adding 15sec of Gen progressing. Or miss judge traveling time to a hook resulting team mate gets to 2nd hook because a chase cross path make it longer to reach hook.
I lost 2 Gen just to find a way to go upstair.
Until Custom game allow people to play alone, people will have the right to complain about the map.

@UncleStabby said:
A lot of you think I'm saying this because I lose a lot, but I don't. Its not about 4king or being ganged up on.
Its more about the vast majority of survivor players who suck the fun out of this game. When I first started playing DbD, I thought it was really fun. I got super into it and enjoyed both sides equally. Sure it had problems, but it was still FUN.
Lately though, its stopped being fun. Survivors stopped using different tactics, started using the exact same builds every single game, consistently. It was like playing the same match on repeat over and over. Then they started to get toxic about it, sending unnecessarily rude messages at end game if they escaped, and heavily salty onces if they died.
I just want to have fun again, and I feel like playing selfishly is the only way to get that done, because its clear to me the devs themselves don't care about that.
That one thing I want is able to set a players in blacklist.
Not its not about not vs them again (prevent players vs each other hurt play base and increase finding match time), its about I know which survivor I should suck the fun out of them, as they did on me.

I am. I can't wait to get competent team mates again. Last test was amazing.
The difference between SBMM & RMM is. When Im tunneled out of the match, SBMM team mate finish 4 Gens, in RMM team mate sit behind a tree. At least what I feel is "you will not get more than 2k"

Greatest threat for 80% kill rate killers are survivors.
Greatest threat for 80% escape rate survivors aren´t killers but other survivors.
Do you mean Survivors hand you 80% kill rate? Well you just need to work on the other 20%
-
A little reminding.
Killers who aim for 80% kill rate, facing Survivors who aim for 80% escape rate. Is this simple enough?
-
@cyniChris said:
It blows my mind when survivors escape against a weaker killer with off-meta perks and no "dirty" tactics, start acting like pricks about it, then the next game wonder why they get camped and tunneled...
They do it to themselves.
No, they dont get tunneled. A random guy like you happens to face that killer and get tunneled.
Did you do it yourself?
-
If you were mean to play for fun, you dont care for the k.
But you cared. It was never been fun for you.

Killers shouldn´t get a 4k with a bare minimum of hooks. 12 hooks would be idially the best option as everyone would have a nice match with playtime and bloodpoints. Wouldn´t you agree?
Killer can 12 hooks with the first 3 hooks go to a single survivor.
As I mean for End game build, I like getting false hope match, than a hopeless match.
-
4 Slow down perks is boring. Just run 4 Exposed perks or End game perks.
I prefer to play a fast Gen game that constantly being exposed or stuck with unable to open Gates when Noed is in play.
I can 3-4k with under 6 hooks as Trapper with End game build. Most killer care about 4k, 4 hooks can be a 4k. Isnt that what you're looking for?
-
RIP
-
Not gonna lie, because many perks have really strong effect and may turn the tide, that opponent dont even know if you have or not. Makes the game full of surprise and for that we have so many funny DBD vids.
Just talking about Gen rush & Noed.
- Gen rush with Noed. Survivors get punished for not doing Dull, Killer lucky to have a 2nd chance.
- Gen rush without Noed. Yep easy game.
- Do dull with Noed. This feel really good as Survivor, even Killer has to accept he's outplayed.
- Do dull without Noed. Self bamboozled, if I rushed Gen that guy would not be on death hook.
This is just a fragment of surprising thing may happens in DBD.

Make one change to corrupt purge once all fountains have been used by survivors:
Instead of activating automatically, provide the Plague a 60 second window to activate Corrupt Purge at will. After the 60 seconds, if not yet activated, it will activate automatically like it does currently. During the 60 second window no sick survivors will be able to cleanse at fountains.
If all fountains are Corrupted, they will not getting reset. Thats all the buff she need.
For me, if Plague refuse to consume Corrupt fountain, with all that time to build up all Survivors infected and cleanse 5 times. She's deserve to have all Survivors being exposed. She's still an M1 killer at that time anyway.
Currently, you either have Survivors dont cleanse at all, or they cleanse too fast that you dont realize it and all fountains reset. Her power is controlled by Survivors too much.

That logic isn´t flawed. People usually prefer to play the strong, power role. A strong killer is more appealing than a weak one. Original Freddy was extremely weak and not many people played him. Especially not on red ranks. I mained him back then, and some people were happy to see something else than Nurse.
But Trapper is the most picked...that explains why escape RNG got a nerf.

Is there a teabagging tech that messes up hitboxes? In alot of my matches recently survivors will start teabagging right before they get hit. Does crouching effect the hitbox since I'm playing the taller killers when this happens?
I used to think crouching with good timing can dodge M1 attack. Because its look like you duck from them. Hitbox is difference, but it only affected with range attack, not M1.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/276665/for-how-long-we-gonna-have-weak-killers
There's nothing wrong with having weak killers. In fact, I think that makes the game unique. Plus when MMR gets activated permanently, weak killers will always go against survivors on their level.
You just can't make a Killer like Trapper ever be as effective as a Killer like Nurse. All you do is change Trapper into Nurse and he would loose his uniqueness.
I main Trapper and I don't want Trapper to be Nurse, I want Trapper to be Trapper. He could have the trapper bag added as default add on to his kit as a buff, but I don't expect him to perform like Nurse unless you drastically rework him and then he would loose his uniqueness.
MMR will fix these issues.
The most fun about the game is the chase (though Im not talking about chasing a survivor just freshly off hook and put them on hook again). Killer's power should not have strong chase power, but have passive pressure to other survivors, so a long chase will not punish them.
With Nemesis come with Pinhead, I feel like they're on the right path on designing Killers. Cant wait what they have next.
-
I dont want it to be another mode, but I would like to play it on occasionally, like April fool, Halloween, Xmas ect..like BP event
-
I agree on Trickster.
For Nemesis & Pinhead, they may weak in chase but they have free pressure from Zombies & Chains. Even though Zombies arent consistent and holding the box should also come with incapacitated along with oblivious so they just not holding the box for nothing.
I hope there are more Killers like this in the future.

Wait.. you're telling me they don't go off after all gens are popped? Jesus I've been playing her wrong for a while. She is now officially dumpster-tier as a killer. Her niche was extending the end game and punishing people that rush gens and leave, but now.. wow, she is maybe the worst killer or near the bottom.
Traps start counting down when a Gen is done, so if you trap someone and the last Gen done, it will count down.

How come? If the open gates are open shouldn't it be like a gen?
Noed, Infectious fright to constantly down Survivors and trap them. Then casually open gate to trigger EGC and trap. Then down someone and hook them with Bloodwarden when EGC is about to end.
-
Because how the game work, everyone should bring something into match (even if its worthless).
You can earn 12k BP as survivor per match, thats enough for 1 Brown item, 2 Brown addon, 1 Brown offering.
You can save good stuff all you want, but never get into a match without bring in anything. You will never deplete your inventory, unless you bring in stuffs and constantly DC.
-
They should have Hook works like PH cage, and adding Early game collapse or something (like activate 2 of 3 switch to start doing Gen)
-
I dont mind slugging for pressure. The problem is slugging for 4k or just slug you there waiting for 4mins.
Just giving an option to suicide after bleeding for 50%. And there we go, that should let slugged one save 2mins and process to the next game, it also makes killer slug less for 4k because the hatch instantly open for the 4th survivor.

ED
with Trapper.

It’s not the worst Hex Perk in the game. In all honesty it’d probably be better to buff the Blindness Status effect rather than Third Seal.
How do you buff Blindness, since there is no way to buff because there is no other better thing to blind than hooked & dying survivors
-
Wraith players need a rework, not him.
-
I came here sweaty
-
Do 2 Gen alone (2500), do a Gen with a team mate (2500), do few totems (3000), have 2 safe unhooks (2500) and 3-4 heals (1200), have a good chase and stun Killer a few times (3000).
Then finally escape (5000).
Look how epic the performance is, without escaping, you earn less than 15.000 BP. Until the BP gain greater for survivors, I might think about that.

@agonizing said:
I wish I had the option to just drop whatever bloodpoints I currently have for them to immediately level up the bloodweb for me.
The condition would be to go for “more desirable perks” and always guaranteed the minimum amount of perks are taken for you at each bloodweb.
Or simply you can click a perk and it will go for shortest path and either most expensive / cheapest depends on option.
Click, bam, you bought 3-4 stuffs.
-
I love how Pinhead power has similar idea to mine, Survivors pay time to weaken him, or he goes full power. He can be weak in 1v1, but has build in slow down on all survivors.
Hope in the future, every Killer will be like this.
-
Just vs Nemesis in Groaning store house. Zombies kept interrupt us do Gen & Healing. 2 almost done that had to stop because of Zombies then Nemesis himself came. And multiple healing increased to over half of min because we just kept running away.
They dont even need to hit, just slow down survivors is enough.

It’s weird how Nurse and spirit are the only killers where there special attacks count as basic attacks
Which is why they're top tier. When your power aid you into M1, not a special attack.

Killers mains who use noed are garbage, but it's a perfectly legitimate perk to choose.

- Map
- Small game
- Detective hutch
- Counter force
- 5000 BP
- Fast heal with Inner strength
What else should the Devs give people to actually do totem?

As Survivor, I would just run pass Killer but not body block. If he hits me, I may save unhooker and not look like being agressive with BT, if he's not, no complain.
As Killer, if unhooked body block me on purpose, I will wait out for that 12sec and down them again.
